The 20 Best Places for Chicken Wings in Los Angeles | Eater LA

"This Korean chain started in 1982 and made big inroads into Los Angeles with seven locations in the Southland. For crispy options with a variety of sauces (and the requisite packets of pickled daikon), this is the hot Korean fried chicken destination to know. Served in a basket that vents out some of the heat to prevent the wings from getting soft, the chicken remains juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside until the very last bite. Just be careful with the “spicy hot” level wings — they will sear your mouth (in a good way)." - Eater Staff

The Best Fried Chicken in Los Angeles | Eater LA

"There is a lot of great Korean fried chicken in Los Angeles, but Pelicana continues to stand out amongst the options. Both bone-in and boneless chicken are on the menu, which are both available with sauce options including soy, hot chili, and hot spicy. Pickled radishes are also served on the side, giving a light crispy bite to counteract the rich, juicy chicken." - Rebecca Roland

We came in really hungry and ended up waiting… and waiting… and waiting. Unfortunately, our server never let us know how long the wait would be, and we ended up sitting there for nearly two hours before our food arrived. That said — when the chicken finally came out, it was phenomenal. The flavor was absolutely out of this world — totally worth the hype. The music inside set a nice vibe, and overall, it was a good visit. Just a heads-up: be prepared to wait a long time. If you’re patient, the food will definitely reward you.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pelicana Chicken in Rancho Cucamonga, and I must say, it was a delightful experience! This casual chicken wings chain has made quite a name for itself, especially with its Korean Fried Chicken and a fantastic selection of sides. Having visited twice now, I can confidently say that Pelicana Chicken has left a great impression on me. First off, the ambiance is charming! The decor is inviting, and if you're a K-pop fan, you're in for a treat. The music adds a fun vibe to the dining experience, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a meal while jamming to your favorite tunes. Now, let’s talk about the food. The menu is extensive, featuring a variety of sauces that cater to all taste buds - from the classic No Sauce to the bold Blazing Mayo. I had the chance to try the Peli Shaken Fries, Peli Cheese Ball, Corn Cheese, and the Crispy Fried Boneless Chicken. The fries and cheese ball were absolutely bursting with flavor, and I highly recommend the Crispy Fried Chicken for its incredible taste and aroma. It’s a must-try! However, I was a bit let down by the Corn Cheese, which lacked flavor and didn’t quite justify its price. As for the service, it was generally good. The staff was friendly and eager to help, especially when it came to choosing the right sauce for our meals. The wait time was reasonable, but I did notice that they seemed a bit short-handed during peak hours. On both visits, there were a few tables with leftover food, which the staff was trying their best to manage. It might be worth mentioning to management to ensure a consistently clean dining environment. Overall, Pelicana Chicken is a fantastic spot for anyone craving Korean Fried Chicken and a fun atmosphere. With a few tweaks in service during busy times, it could easily become a go-to favorite. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu!

Google
Ordered chicken wings to go and decided to eat inside the restaurant and only had one before I had to go to try it I get home to eat the rest and the first bite i took was not only disgusting but raw undercooked chicken, the next day I went to go for a refund and the cashier and manager said it's not their fault for it being the way it was that I should’ve came to them sooner quote," Chicken is normal sometimes it has some redness to it or pink coloring we double check everything before serving it... its not really our fault that you did not come sooner to us to show us because you did dine in and then left so its not our fault... we can only give you half refund" but this isnt regular red or pink coloring this is obvious raw chicken meat undercooked and not clearly double checked, the taste was awful and it is completely their fault for not actually checking the chicken was cooked properly would not recommend going here unprofessional customer service. Half a refund for chicken being undercooked is not an acceptable way to handle it raw chicken is no joke

Great Korean style fried chicken. Atmosphere was good. Plenty of parking. I thought that the prices were kinda high, but still it was delicious and I'll probably be back.

Google
Crispy but not burnt on the outside, with a flavourful juicy tender chicken inside. Be careful when ordering online at their Rancho location. Ordered online and after 20 mins didn't receive an additional confirmation they request to wait for with an ETA. We drive to the restaurant and they didn't have my order. The receptionist was very kind and apologized that she was new. Soon after the orders finally pushed through and I received my eta via email which was another 20+ minutes. I recommend plain fries over Peli.

Google
Excellent fried chicken, Korean style. Better than any of the fried chicken chains. Bone-in always tastes better than boneless. Choose original over crispy as the latter is double batter fried. Best sauces are garlic, hot chilly (spicy enough for Asian tastes) and signature sauce for those who prefer less spicy option. Take-out works better but they have a no-frills dine-in section as well. The lady at the counter was super helpful and cheerful.

Google
Ordered the Crispy Banban Wimgs with Spicy Sauce and it was 🔥 fire!!! The chicken without sauce is very crispy and flavourful. Shaken fries has some cheese on it which compliments the chicken. By far one of the best chicken wings I've had!!!

Google
Run, do not walk to this place!! I am in ❤️ with Korean chicken, and this place does it the best I've ever had!! 😋 Thank you soooo much for coming to RC. The chicken was flavorful even without any sauce, but the garlic chicken made me want to move in and eat garlic chicken wings for the rest of my life!! 🤪 OMG!! Truth - and im someone who knows how difficult it is to get juicy, crispy, and flavorful wings right every time. Boneless chicken!! Awesome!! Most importantly- come closer - none of it was greasy!!!!! Why do this at home, when these are the true professionals!! Oh - and 2 thumbs 👍 👌 up for that little cabbage salad. ❤️ The Peli fries should be called "crack fries" so delicious!! We'll be back with ALL or friends...lol TY

Yelp
This casual Chicken Wings Chain in Rancho Cucamonga is renowned for its Korean Fried Chicken and popular sides including Peli Shaken Fries, Onion Rings, Spicy Rice Cakes and so on. To date, we came to this place twice, and we always have a great impression of PELICANA CHICKEN. The inside of this place is nicely decorated, and the overall ambience is quite delightful. If you are a fan of K-pop music, then dining at PELICANA CHICKEN will be great fun for you. Because here you will have the opportunity to enjoy both your meal and the most popular K-pop songs at the same time!   Let's focus on their menu. When it comes to food, their menu offers a wide variety of options, including sauces like No Sauce, Honey Soy, Soy, Garlic, Signature, Smoky Hot, Hot Spicy, Blazing Mayo, and Smoky Mayo. Featured items include Original Fried Chicken, Original Fried Wings, Crispy Fried Chicken, Crispy Fried Wings, Banban Chicken, Banban Wings, Korean Pub Dishes, Sides, and more. So far, we tried their Peli Shaken Fries, Peli Cheese Ball, Corn Cheese, and Crispy Fried Boneless Chicken. Peli Shaken Fries, Peli Cheese Ball, and Crispy Fried Boneless Chicken were literally so good and burst of flavor. I personally recommend their Crispy Fried Chicken, which contains a sudden, intense release of taste or aroma.  However, the Corn Cheese was bland as well as a bit of disappointment, and not worth the price.     Their service is good overall, and the wait time is not too long. The staff was humble, friendly, and cooperative. They were always very helpful in guiding us to choose the right sauce for our meals. The price seems reasonable. There's only one observation, they look short-handed during the peak hours. We came to this place twice and on both occasions, we noticed leftover food on a few tables, despite the staff's sincere efforts to maintain cleanliness. It would be great if the management could look into this matter.

Yelp
I've been to Pelicana all over the United States and this one is by far the only one that sucks. Burnt chicken. Disappointing and inedible. Go elsewhere!

Yelp
Pelicana, make you wanna, get up ona, like a fiend, for Mary Juana! One bite will make yo lips smackin and your toes tapping, reaching for that napkin and have your hands clappin. The taste of this chicken will have yo tastebuds jackin and with over forty years of experience they have the backin! I ordered their crispy soy honey glazed wings and that flavor really had a zing like tha bling of a Cullinan diamond! Now if the wings are good then I know for sure the original recipe is legit. Besides the chicken they have a variety of other options that I definitely want to try out. The service was good and you get that K Pop vibe with the videos they play. And that's my take on this chicken spot, Peace.

Yelp
First things first the Ambiance was cool, with a little K-Pop playing on the Big screen. The customer service was on point. The food was delicious. I ordered the original wings and tried the a couple of sauces, the spicy-hot was my favorite! Definitely a go to spot if you're in the area!

Yelp
Best spot in town to get delish & tasty Korean fried chicken, beer & some authentic Korean dish! This place opens late, which makes Pelicana Chicken great option for people who look for restaurant beyond 10pm Wait staff was great, it usually has one person to take order, cashier and deliver food to the table. There are sport channel screened on TV's which give this place can be considered as sport bar, with Korean song played.

Yelp
Tried pelicana chicken in LA and i was craving it for months and didn't know that there was a location in the IE! Our server was very nice at attentive and helped us decided on which sauce was best. I ended up getting the hot spicy one and it was SPICY! I love spicy food but i personally think it was a bit too much spicy. However it was really good! I would recommend the signature flavor for that sweet spicy balance! Will definitely be back to this location!!
google avatar

Ariana C.

Yelp
I've visited a couple Pelicana locations and it's great the flavor is consistent! Chicken is always crunchy. I just think the price is too high for the quantity/size of chicken. Service can be hit or miss at all locations though. A good go-to place though. Always nice having the different K-Pop videos playing!

Yelp
Came in tonight to get some fried chicken and cheese corn for take out. For some reason they forgot to add the corn to my order. Ended up waiting 35 minutes for what should have been a quick and easy order. And when I got home the corn cheese was bland. Probably going to go to Jaws right next door if I'm ever wanting Korean food again.

Yelp
Location: next to haven city market Ordered two-9 piece crispy chicken wings with original sauce and soy honey sauce to-go. Chicken was perfectly cooked and crispy. Just the right amount of sauce. Loved the atmosphere inside. Clean, spacious with mood lighting which I like. Has a bar and many TVs to watch the game or whatever else.

Yelp
I arrived on a Wednesday at 6 pm and there were a few people dining in and ordering to go. They have 2 types of chicken: original and crispy (double fried). You can get it with or without sauce. I ordered wings (9 pieces for $18). It took less than 20 minutes for our food to be ready. They make it fresh for you. I asked for a side of the original sauce which is like a sweet and spicy garlic sticky soy glaze. They also provide a side of packaged pickled cubed radishes. I have had pelicana before and i think this location has better food than the other one i went to. Inside is spacious with a good amount of seating. The chicken was crispy and very hot. The first bite had a flavorful crunch with a really juicy chicken. Overall, probably the best fried chicken option around. I will be back. Tip: they are located in the same plaza as the Haven City Market. Not inside the Haven City Market Hall but 2 doors down on the left of it in their own space.

Yelp
Just wanted to say the lady serving us was very nice and super accommodating, I hate to say it but the food here is not really that good. We got the tteokbokki and cheese half chicken. The tteok was good but the wings were powdered so thickly they turned into a smooth oval shape. The powder started forming dough on our fingers and left an unavoidable mess all over the table. The chicken is really big, but I guess because of that they overcook it and it ended up being dry and stringy.

Yelp
I wish i had a photo but I ate it too fast. Amazing wings. Crispy and juicy. I had the soy honey and reheated them in the air fryer and was just as happy as the night before. One bite wing one bite pickled radish = perfection.

Yelp
My new fave Korean chicken spot! The chicken wings were fried to a perfect crispiness. The wings were loaded with the sauce. My husband & I loved how juicy the inside of the chicken is.. Everything was so tasty. I wanna come back for the spicy hot one! Def got my Korean chicken fix. The girl who took my order was super sweet also. Highly recommend this place over B.B.Q chicken!
google avatar

Kristel Faye T.

Yelp
Once my husband got a taste of Korean fried chicken, he could never do regular wings again! This is one of our go to places. We always get the cheese and signature sauce crispy wings. Love going in person cause then they'll refill the cabbage salad for free. But we still order them when we get take out. One day I need to order the dukbokki, but it's so hard to stray from our favorites!! The waitstaff is usually awesome. I've enjoyed their micheladas too. It's nice and clean inside, though we tend to do takeout more than eat in. Anyway, in a nutshell: 10/10
google avatar

Priscilla K.

Yelp
My favorite korean fried chicken in the area! I usually order take out and they are always so friendly. Consistency is key when it comes to food places and this place has it down (Bravo!). My go to order - I love the chicken but, I am a chicken wing girl through and through. Lol 18 piece chicken wings original, 9 without sauce and 9 with signature sauce. The original is light crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The signature sauce has a great balance of savory, sweet, and tangy. Other Items - they have rice (YES!), the fries are okay (not crispy) even worse when you get takeout, every order comes with pickled radish (go veggies! :)

Yelp
We have been going to pelicana chicken for a few years now and I am so disappointed this last time we went. Not only did they remove some items from the menu but the quality has gone down. The chicken was too oily and very dry, I used to get the chicken gangjung but to my surprise wasn't a menu item any more. The service was okay, very friendly but would not recommend for the food.
google avatar

Dennis D.

Yelp
The food, beer, service and ambiance were on point at this location. The servers were the key because they made sure our chicken were lightly sauced and gave us beer suggestions that would go well with our fried chicken. We look forward to eating here again.

Yelp
My new favorite chicken place! Came with my co-workers on Wednesday afternoon and ordered crispy chicken, Tteokbokki, Chicken gizzard, cheese balls, and many more. Chicken was so crispy and juicy and the sauce had a perfect sweetness. All the food we ordered were absolutely amazing but my personal favorite was chicken gizzard! When you dine-in, they give you unlimited cabbage salad and picked radish :) Service was super fast and great. Music was also good! I would love to come back on the weekends for good food and drinks. Highly recommend this place.

Yelp
We have been long time customers to pelicana and only buy their fried chicken wings. They're usually crispy and taste is good. However there seemed to have been a mishap with our phoned order today. We normally order the crispy wings but somehow it was lost in translation to a whole chicken and a half of another. Instead of complaining, we decided to give it a try since we haven't had a whole chicken at Pelicana before. I was disappointed beyond belief. The chicken was dry with the flavor of the refrigerator, as if it's been sitting in the fridge for a long time. I felt as though I am eating a week old leftover. Such a disappointment and it's not cheap. I can say that their fried chicken wings are delicious, but would never order a whole chicken again. Thinking about it and writing this review is making me want to puke. Get the chicken wings!!! Would I go to Pelicana again? Absolutely. But I would steer clear of the whole chicken. Ugh... I'm gonna puke.

Yelp
As much as I love traditional American fast-food, I also need some variety. Pelicana provides relief from the mundane. It's a Korean fried chicken spot that is relatively open late (accepts food orders until 11:30). I ordered the half bucket of hot spicy chicken. As someone who has a spice tolerance stronger than average the chili chicken is not for the faint of heart. It packs a wallop but the flavor is worth it. Their signature sauce is gingery and delicious, but it doesn't have the fiery magic of hot spicy sauce. The inside is pretty spacious & designed to be more of a social drinkery in addition to a Korean Wing place: They have a number of good sides, but I always opt for a side of white rice & complimentary pickled radishes.

Yelp
I'm not sure how I've gone my whole life without trying Korean style wings.. but rip to my wallet and jeans after this introduction. Lets set the mood.. it's a Friday night and parking was heinous. Remeber the hunger games? yes, like that. Anyways.. we walked in and waited for the server/host/busser (she was a women of all jobs) to seat us. It was a party of 6 and there was no wait for a table thankfully. It is an open restaurant, but seating is a limited. Wings were delicious! Super crispy and very unique flavors. My favorite was the original, because I'm basic. No, I just wanted to taste the actual chicken without any flavors masking it, and it was soooo good. Cheese Buldak: was my least favorite item of the night. It was really oily and greeasy with barely any flavor. Shaken Fries: Were legit cold. Not sure if they sat there waiting for all the food to be cooked, but maybe prepare them last next time so customer gets it at temperature. Tip: They do not let you pick multiple flavors for the wings; even if you pick the 19 ct option. We order multiple 9ct orders to test out flavors.

Lashanda J.

Yelp
Pelicana is my go to place for Korean fried chicken. They make the chicken in fresh oil daily and you can taste how much the care in the chicken. They always provide excellent customer service.
google avatar

Yelp
This is one of my favorite spot for Korean chicken wings Love all the flavors and the sauces of the wings paired it with ice cold beer Finally tried the cheese balls and it's my favorite now Service is always good here!

Yelp
Such a hidden gem! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was impeccable. This was a fun date night location and we will definitely be returning.

Yelp
I LOVED THIS PLACE IN OC and i'm so happy they brought one near me :))) I got the crispy with original sauce (half) but I should've gotten the whole, it's a better deal lol The quality is pretty similar to the one I go to in OC but I do think the chicken is smaller. When you dine in, it comes with cabbage salad to help balance the chicken + the pickle radishes. We went on a weekday at 1 PM it was pretty empty and only one person was working there, but she was super nice !! Crispy Chicken with Original Sauce 1000/5 : It's crispy in a light way, I didn't feel heavy after eating. I love the original sauce! Sweet and garlicky:), it might be overwhelming on its own, I brought home leftovers to eat with rice and it was sooo goood.

Yelp
If you have customers willing to pay their hard earned money, you should definitely accommodate. I got here at 8:38pm ( they closed at 9:30pm). Wanted to grab food for me and my hubby, we were starving and the cashier told me to go right? And I said oh we can't eat here? (The place was empty) and she said well uhm we close soon. I told her I thought it was 9:30, she says yeah the kitchen closes at 9:00pm. These are the people not willing to provide a service I didn't wanna eat outside it was cold, I didn't wanna eat in my car. It's rude to turn down people because you don't wanna clean, I'm assuming that's what it is I used to work retail, I know but I'd never turn down people. Do better, definitely won't be spending MY money here. With that laziness take away that tip jar plz, you are apart of that tip culture.

Ada Z.

Yelp
We arrived right as they opened, and the restaurant was still pretty empty. It takes about 20 minutes for food, since they make it on the spot. For their premium chicken, we originally thought that half meant half order, but we found out it actually means half an entire chicken. There were breast bones, drumsticks, and wings. A.J. was our server, and he was great! He checked up on us often, and was very friendly. Hot chili original: The spiciness lingers on your mouth. My husband couldn't eat it because it was too spicy for him. I enjoyed it, but it was a bit salty. The chicken was a bit soggy. Signature sauce with crispy fried chicken: chicken was crunchy, but pretty oily. The signature sauce was sweet and really good. Closer to 4.5. We got half chicken with 2 flavors and ended up with some leftovers. There was plenty of parking in the shared lot. Closer to 4.5 stars.

Yelp
I'm definitely late to the Korean fried chicken party, but this place was definitely a good place to be introduced to it. And to be honest, the Inland Empire isn't exactly blessed by having a number of Korean chicken places, which is a shame. I am by no means an expert, so keep this in mind when you read this review. For me, I keep it pretty basic. I always order the boneless wings with their signature sauce. Occasionally, I'll get a side of fries. I what I like is that you can get the wings plain and get the sauce on the side so that you can control the flavoring. What blows me away is how they can get the chicken to be so nice and crisp, and somehow manage to keep the chicken so moist. I would really like to try another Korean chicken place, just to give me a point of reference on how good this place is in relation to other restaurants, but this is a entry point to try it and see.

Yelp
Awful white rice. This rice condition is very old and smell bad. I don't understand how this kinds of rice was $3. It looked order 2 or 3 days past at least. Do not order a white rice this place. Bad bad bad
google avatar

Emily L.

Yelp
This is the second Pelicana location I've visited First off.. the layout is kinda weird. The cashier is behind two walls and we weren't sure if it was self or full service. It's full service dine in btw. The food takes FOREVER to come out. I understand it's fresh to order but man, it took extremely long. Onto the food.. quality is consistent. The chicken was hot and fresh. So juicy and saucy. We like to get the garlic crispy wings. We order ddukbokki today and the rice cakes were perfect texture. My only complaint was that the cabbage wasn't cooked and the portion was not worth $16. Pelicana in general is quite expensive.
google avatar

Katharine R.

Yelp
The boneless chicken with the signature sauce is so good! We get this every time! The cheese balls are yummy too! I love that they play K-pop videos as well!
google avatar

Elizabeth S.

Yelp
I saw that this place opened up recently in the same plaza I tried their tteokbokki ($13) and an order of half boneless original ($16). I like that their tteokbokki was not soupy and the rice cakes were chewier, lots of chopped cabbage and green onions. I also got the half boneless crispy original chicken; it was moist and the batter was not thick. It also came with kkakdugi in a good travel container to help cut the greasiness of the chicken. I like that they're open late at night on friday and saturaday after midnight. The staff is nice, the place is clean. I like that they play kpop so I was sitting a bit longer at the tables to watch them.
google avatar

Alex M.

Yelp
Best Korean fried chicken in the IE! Now if only they delivered to the Redlands area. Both the bone in wings and the boneless taste amazing. If you're up for it, I recommend the spiciest options with an extra side of the sauce to dip it in. They have the pickled radish for you to eat after to cool / cleanse the palate. The fire chicken was also delicious. It had a good spice to it and tastes great if your order a side of rice with it to put the sauce on top. Keep it mind it takes about 25-30 min to get the chicken, so plan ahead! 10/10 would recommend
google avatar

Thanh L.

Yelp
Big spacious restaurant. So happy there's a Pelicana closer to home. Food was really good, and service was amazing! Workers gave great recommendation and everything was fresh and juicy. Me and my friends came in almost closing and they didn't even rush us. Love that they open late and have beer too. Will be coming back again!
google avatar

Linda L.

Yelp
The chicken we got was not fresh and not fully cooked. I wish I took a picture, but I had already thrown it away.
google avatar

Lauren K.

Yelp
Stopped by randomly to pick up takeout after a long day of work and I will 100% be back for more! I ordered the half and half chicken with sauce: Garlic and Soy Sauce. That Garlic chicken sauce has to be made with special sauce because it is literally SO delicious and crispy. I'm a big garlic girl so if you are too, get this sauce! The soy sauce is delicious too! Similar to Bonchon but has a slight cinnamon flavor? But 10/10 ! Crispy chicken and fast service! Also juicy and big chicken! Big portions great price :)

Yelp
I've had Pelicana on my radar ever since finding out about their Buena Park location. Unfortunately I wasn't able to try it since the wait was pretty long, but having had my fair share of Korean fried chicken, I was pretty skeptical on how good this place was. Nonetheless, when a new location popped up in Rancho, in the same plaza as Haven City, I was pretty excited to give it a try. I even sacrificed indulging in french fries the night before because I knew I would probably be eating not so healthy with the fried chicken. And oh my goodness, I wasn't prepared for how tasty and amazing Korean fried chicken could be. It really is the best of the best - and we had ordered our chicken with a sauce that wasn't our top choice and still ended up loving every single bite! The options are either 1) premium chicken (original or crispy style / with sauce or without sauce) 2) boneless chicken (crispy style only / with or without sauce) and 3) fried wings (original or crispy style / with sauce or without sauce) -- you can order either half an order (9 pieces) or a full order (18 pieces). Sauces include smoky hot, hot chili, and hot spicy (in ascending order of hotness), signature, soy, garlic, and cheese. Some sauces are available on the side; if you want to split your order to have 2 sauces, you pay an additional $1.50. I've been back several times since their opening and have only good things to say about their chicken. Both times, I've ordered half order of premium chicken (9 pieces) in the crispy style - first was with the original sauce since they were all out of soy and the second was with the soy. Order is $17 for the half, which isn't too bad. But the sizes of the chicken are not consistent - some are humongous while one piece is incredibly tiny. But considering how moist and juicy the chicken is on the inside juxtaposed with how crispy and light the skin of the chicken is - I couldn't fault them for the size of the chicken. (Seriously, how do they get the chicken so crispy?) We really enjoyed every bite. And it wasn't too heavy either! The original had a little more of a savory umami taste while the soy was a bit sweeter - I thought I'd enjoy the soy more, but both sauces were just okay. It was the chicken that was the real star. The order comes with pickled radishes, which are great and refreshing between bites of the crispy chicken. If they had an option to order rice on the side, that would be great! There's other items on the menu such as fries, ddukbokki, cheeseballs, etc. The only complaint is that they're still hashing out timing of the orders. Both times I visited, the order wasn't ready and I had to wait an additional amount of time. But the kitchen and staff seemed to be doing all they could to keep up with demand. Hopefully this gets resolved soon and they get a better system going. Will be back to try some other items from the menu. Probably the best Korean fried chicken I've tried - and I didn't even enjoy the sauces that much. Would definitely return to try other sauce options. Tried the garlic option - that sauce is my new favorite! Not too sweet, super garlicky.

Yelp
I have never heard of this Korean fried chicken chain until now but this place is so good! It may seem a little overwhelming with the types of fried chicken and the sauces but you basically pick the type of chicken, number of wings, and sauce (or no sauce) and we good. Came here with a couple friends and we ordered the following for four of us: 9 crispy fried chicken with no sauce - SO GOOD, nice and crunchy and very warm on the inside 9 original fried chicken tossed in the garlic sauce - also very good, very garlicky 18 original fried chicken tossed in the signature sauce - savory and sweet so good as well and also peli shaken fries - also good but also fries and cheese It's right next to Haven City Market. Super friendly staff. K-pop music playing and also random sports games and sometimes music videos playing. Definitely coming back for more chicken!

Yelp
Congrats on the grand opening Pelicana! I ordered 18 PCs of original fried chicken with signature sauce. It was $28-29 (a little more expensive than usual) I tried to get two different flavors but they charge $1.5 extra. So I skipped that. Their wings are very juicy and delicious. The only thing negative is the seasoning isn't flavorful enough but otherwise everything was very good. Location: Haven city plaza but not inside the food court.

Yelp
Four stars for the food, it was good, well balanced, flavored well and priced right. It was my intro to Korean Fried Chicken and I'll definitely enjoyed it. The waitress however was not helpful, made us feel rushed and didn't explain the menu when asked. She did not provide the best customer service. I'd choose mediocre food with good service any day of the week. Y'all should strive to enjoy your job, especially when it's in the business of serving people. Do better Pelicana.

Yelp
Delicious food and may I say also very handsome staff hahahah. We were there last week around 5pm and some lady was already drunk and passed out on the floor. 2 nice staffs from the restaurant helped carry the lady to her car as her friend was also a women and wouldn't be able to do much. When my husband tried their tap beer I think it's called something mango. What a yummy beer, no wonder people gets drunk so early in the afternoon! Chicken wings were delicious, crunchy outside and juicy inside. We ordered original flavor, it's a bit on the sweet side. Pickled radish pairs perfectly with their wings. I also recommend their chicken gizzard dish, I ordered it stir fried. Everything is perfect with beer or soju. Nice place to have couple friends over and just chill.

Yelp
We came by around 8:00 on a weekday for a late dinner and it was completely empty. This is a well-known Korean wings chain but I guess they must have competition with the wings place located inside the food court next door because it was packed over there. Anyway, I have been wanting to try this place out for a long time because it's from Korea and it did not disappoint! We ordered the original 17.99 half chicken with the signature sauce and smoky hot sauce on the side. I didn't know that they charged extra for the smoky sauce but I was okay with it. We actually enjoyed the smoky more because it had a slight kick. It's sweet and spicy. The signature was just sweet and I think it might have been a little too sweet for me actually. Next time, we will get hot chili because that seems like the perfect balance. Anyway, the chicken was very juicy inside, crispy on the outside and meaty. This is what Korean fried chicken should be and I was satisfied. My favorite place is still the other Korean wings chain that starts with a B and ends with a Q but this still hit the spot after the disappointing experience in Riverside. We got draft beer and seasoned fries as well. I would pass on the fries. It was coated in this weird artificial sweet cheese powder. Two other people came in later but it was really dead and quiet so the atmosphere wasn't the greatest. They also didn't have all of their beers on tap but I would say it was a 4.5 stars for the chicken.

Yelp
Was craving fried chicken and noticed this place right next to Haven City Market. So glad we decided to give this place a try the chicken is so crispy and juicy. We ordered them without the sauce so avoid the chicken getting soggy. The sauces on the side were delicious some were spicy so eat it with caution. Also they serve beer in here as well. If you're in the area and are craving fried chicken stop here! I promise you won't regret it.

Yelp
I'm so glad I finally got to try this place. The wings with signature sauce were insane! The cheese balls weren't what I expected. They were very tasty, but had a sweetness to them that threw me off a bit. I came a little after 12pm on a Saturday. Service was very quick and the waitress was nice. The place started to get busy...with only one waitress, she handled it very well. Oh, and the music and TVs were a plus. I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Visited this spot for a friend's bday and was not disappointed. We ordered many things but I personally only tried the boneless chicken with garlic sauce + smoky hot sauce, ddukbokki, and fries. The chicken was soooo delicious, I can't get over it. The flavor and texture were amazing. The garlic sauce had a great kick to it, and subtle hints of some ginger possibly (not sure), and the smoky hot sauce was my favorite. It tasted smoky, but not overwhelming, and was also actually spicy! The ddukbokki was great to have in between bites of the chicken. And fries were good. The menu was a bit confusing for us to follow through and had to have the server help.

Yelp
Omg I'm so happy to have found a place in Rancho Cucamonga that serves ddak gangjeong with ddeok! It's pretty easy to find ddak gangjeong by itself, but the addition of the rice cakes makes me nostalgic for the ddeok gangjeong I would get near the subway station in Daegu, SK. The chicken, despite being well-coated in a thick, sweet, slightly spicy sauce, held onto its crispness noticeably well. The rice cakes, tossed in the same sauce, were slightly fried yet retained a nice chewiness. The portion was a little big for me, and I think it could be comfortably shared between two people with smaller than average appetites. The workers were also really friendly! Although I had initially called to take the order to go, I ended up dining in the restaurant for convenience, and they made sure to provide me with the extra side (shredded cabbage dressed in a creamy mayo based sauce) that they offer to their dine-in customers. I'll definitely be back with my family to explore some of the other menu options. And just as an aside, I would love it if Pelicana were to offer a side of ddeok gangjeong on their menu.

Yelp
Ordered original wings for pick-up. When I opened the box, the wings were burnt that I can even smell the smoke! Edit: I always get the same menu and I've been getting it for more than 10 times from this place and the one at Buena Park, and this one looks way darker (the picture came out lighter)!!!! And I can smell/taste the smoke!!!!
