Where to Find Seattle’s Best Brunches

"What’s more essentially Seattle than grabbing a coffee and plant-based kimchi breakfast sandwich while your bike chain gets reattached? This First Hill cult classic is tucked in a bicycle repair shop, but you don’t need to patronize that side of the business to take advantage of the stellar brunch menu, which manages an impressive balancing act between healthful and indulgent. Every menu item is available in both vegetarian and vegan formats, including well-executed spins on classic meaty deli sandwiches like BLTs and pastrami on rye." - Jade Yamazaki Stewart, Sophie Grossman, Eater Staff

Part bike repair, part café, fully Seattle. Brunch runs daily with dialed-in breakfast burritos, kimchi sandos, and great coffee. Condé Nast Traveler calls it a neighborhood go-to with food far better than you’d expect.

we did the meaty burrito and sandwich and a side of hash browns. Little cafe tucked off of broadway, and has a more expansive seating section than most cafes. I thought the food was just okay. Nothing really wow'd me about the food but the coffee was delicious. But about ~$60 including tip for (3) breakfast items and 2 coffees.

Interesting breakfast- can’t say I’ve ever had asparagus and broccoli for breakfast before today . The kimchi egg sandwich was 2.5/5. The restaurant / cafe had a cool ambiance. Replying to comment: I ordered the meat scramble. Perfectly cooked and fresh ingredient. My partner ordered the kimchi sandwich and he said the kimchi was too powerful.

We discovered this cafe on a recent work trip. Turned out we liked it rather more than the ubiquitous chain restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Tables inside and out and a talented staff slinging good coffee and some delicious breakfast options. I liked the avocado toast myself, as is my habit; my traveling companion recommends the breakfast burrito.

One of my favourite breakfast places. It has vegan, vegetarian and meat options. I always get a veggie hot mess sandwich, it’s my absolute fav! Strongly recommend, specially if you have a group of friends with different dietary preferences.

i visited my partner in seattle and it was always one of our first choices when deciding where to go. the food is outstanding! their brisket sandwich and loaded tater tots i loved. she got the loaded grilled cheese. loved their coffee and cocktails too. they have a lot of vegan options as well. it just felt like the perfect little place. i loved the dog paintings in the bathroom too.

We went on a Friday morning, and they were busy, but we got lucky and a table opened up. We had the vegan hot mess sandwich, the vegan avocado toast, and soy lattes. The hot mess sandwich was decadent and delicious. The avocado toast felt lighter and healthier, but still luxurious. The lattes were good. We liked the vibe inside and the friendly servers who were very welcoming to our dog. We'll be back to try more of the vegan options! So many things looked good that it was hard to decide.

Great food and drink. Great staff. Cool space. I didn't realize how large the space was from outside but it is sizable and really well utilized. They have tables and booths. I came on a Saturday morning and was able to easily find a spot to sit. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and just generally welcoming. The drip coffee was especially delicious. It had great flavor and was well brewed. The food was also delicious. I was tempted by all the fancy options but kept it simple with a basic breakfast sandwich and added a protein. Then I bought a hash brown to add to it because that sounded so good on another sandwich's description. It is also a bike shop! They have space in the back where they work on bikes. Great spot!

Heard about this lovely place from friends who were visiting. They have a vegan menu as well. The vibes feel inclusive and healthy. The sandwiches were really great. A wonderful balance of vegetables, protein, and carbs. The flavors were great and well balanced. I recommend checking out this cafe for a lovely meal. We are definitely going to be back for more.
