"What started as a pumpkin farm (which is still open to the public every fall) has grown into a 25-acre winery that’s one of the most family-friendly destinations in the area, offering gem mining for kids, an ice skating rink in the winter, and monthly concerts by country musicians. With a new restaurant and tasting room in the works, the property is popular for weddings and events, decorated with vintage tractors and other antiques from the owner’s collection and featuring multiple indoor and outdoor spaces in which to sip wine from its lineup that includes a food-friendly Syrah Rose and a high-rated Estate Sangiovese." - Candice Woo

We came for a Coffey Anderson concert. We had a terrible time and it entirely the fault of the venue, Peltzer. There was no crowd control. People stood in front of the seats blocking the view. Security did nothing. The sound quality was awful. There was nothing to eat except junk from food trucks. Do not waste your time and money by coming here.

Google
Great vibes, nice, family friendly winery. We did the ice skating they had a pizza food truck which was good. They had a local bakery selling cookie decorating kits and also had live music.

Google
This winery is one of the great ones in Temecula. The management is truly amazing and they are so caring towards their neighboring wineries and customers. And to top it all off their wine is delicious. I recommend a visit to Peltzer Winery. You won’t be disappointed.

I've been a wine member here for about a year, and I can't believe I haven't left a review! This place is one of the most popular wineries in Temecula for a reason. Plus, adding the benefits of being a wine member makes all the more reason to visit Temecula regularly. I hosted my birthday here in December, and they treated us amazingly! They gave us our own table in the members section, and it didn't cost anything! I called and reserved it ahead of time, and they took very good care of us. Other wineries nearby wanted to charge over $100 per person! Crazy if you ask me. This is one thing about Pletzer, they want everyone to experience a good time, and great wine from the wine enthusiasts to the beer drinker to the mom and dad who need to get out but have to bring the kids - they have something for EVERYONE! Even if you don't want to be around kids, come later when it's 21+ . I can go on and on about this place, but you need to experience it for yourself. And when you do, don't forget to sign up for their wine club!

Google
12/11/2023 Cool place, definitely had the most energy of the wineries I went to that day. I just had a beer so I can't rate the wine firsthand but my buddy bought a bottle so I'm betting it was good stuff. The holiday lights and ice rink added festive cheer to the experience too. Very fun!

Google
This place was such a vibe! A tasting of 6 glasses is like $25, there is ample seating for however large the group is. I love that they have heatnlamps everywhere as well. If you aren't a fan of wine, they also have beers on tap. Highly recommend anyone if they are in Temecula to check this place out!

Great family owned small botique winery with some wonderful wines!

Went Ice Skating New Years eve with the family. We had so much fun. The best skater out of everyone was my 7 year old...lol. We plan on going again.

Yelp
It was so much fun Cory was a good educator he was the best for sure coming back soon

Ramy I.

Yelp
It's was fun We had great time Wine was great too They have courtesy Tesla chargers Thanks Cory I apologize for trying to serve myself I highly recommend it

Yelp
If your looking to get ripped off please stop here... Wine is marginal... ambiance is ok ...looks like a scene from the show Fallout ... so by all means go there .. Also not cool to have all your equipment running around and almost running people over ... forklifts ... water trucks .. place is a mad house

Yelp
I had an amazing time at Peltzer Winery! I stopped in on a rainy Monday afternoon, and it was exactly what I was looking for in wine country. I was greeted right away, the team at the counter was very welcoming. I was given a brief overview about the winery and started with the wine tasting. The prosecco rose was my favorite. 5/5 stars for Dani! She was so knowledgeable about the wines, friendly and enthusiastic. She really made my time here so enjoyable. Peltzer Winery is beautiful. It's rustic and charming, warm and cozy, and unpretentious. The people were friendly. The vibe was cool. The wines are amazing. Plus, there are so many lovely spots to take pics. I recommend this place if you're alone or with friends.

Jessica G.

Yelp
I loved Peltzer! We came here during the pumpkin patch and had so much fun! The wine and sangria was so refreshing in the California fall where it was warm. The pumpkin selection was good and the food truck availability was great. There were several options for everyone. There were several things to do with the family and just get outdoors and enjoy a nice day. We will definitely be returning.

Frank C.

Yelp
Always enjoy coming here. Whether it's for ice skating or coming out for a couple drinks on Father's Day's. Love this place

Sara O.

Yelp
This review is for the ice rink. We went on a Saturday night before Christmas and had an amazing time! We bought our tickets online the day before so check in was super easy. We paid a little less than $100 for 5 skaters. After we checked in we got our rental skates and headed to a picnic table to put them on. The rink was clean and well maintained and we appreciated the pvc gliders for our children to use. I do wish the music was more festive to the holidays but overall it was a great time and we hope to make it a family tradition. There is a small area to order drinks, like wine and hot cocoa.

Jessica B.

Yelp
As soon as we stepped foot in to this place I did NOT feel welcomed, I felt discriminated immediately We were not even 5 min into sitting down where the food trucks were and a manager or staff member with the scariest eyeliner came to us and told us there was no children aloud. We were not sitting by the bar or drinking area and the place was huge enough to be away from people. I highly recommend you don't waste your time coming to this racist vibe place!! Go next door to Longshadow Ranch vineyard and winery! It's kid friendly and you immediately felt welcomed!

Marie S.

Yelp
Peltzer winery has got to be one of our favorite wineries in the area. It's always clean and everyone who works here is wonderful. The amount of family friendly events is why we keep coming back, of course along with the yummy wine. Tons of parking. Recommend making reservations or buying tickets to large events in advance. Looking forward to the ice skating ring for winter.

Susana G.

Yelp
Great place to take it easy and enjoy a nice bottle of wine. Rustic style and airy. Plenty of outdoor tables.

Katie G.

Yelp
We visited here with my kids and my cousin and her kids . We chose this winery because it's family friendly. The kids enjoyed exploring the property. The winery is pretty . They have a stage outside and pretty cool bands play. The woman who served is at the bar was friends and explained to us all the questions we asked about the wine . My favorite was the sangria.

Matthew T.

Yelp
As a first time wine vineyard visitor everywhere I go next has alot to live up to! I could go on and on about how DELICIOUS the wine is but let's be honest, that's what you expect... but the service, MY GOD these guys were amazing! They had great recommendations, excellent customer service, and overall seem like outstanding human beings, and when spending my money this is the level of service one aspires to get! Shoutout to the Zach, Chris, and Salvatore... they made the experience! Also try the Frozeezy's they are WORTH IT!

Christine D.

Yelp
Review on ice skating rink only! We had a good time at the ice skating rink. It was nicely decorated and the staff was so kind! This was easy to book online and the price was fair. Our skate time was scheduled for 12:00 pm which I believe is the first group of the day. The ice was so scraped up and not smooth at all. I'm not great by any means but it definitely caused a lot of people to fall. My husbands skate rental cut into his food and ripped out a portion of his skin.

Eve T.

Yelp
We went for the winery tour. We got so lucky to be the only ones at the tour. If you want some real knowledge about where the wine comes from Cory is a wealth of it!! He was great and we had great pairings it was not too cold but we really didn't walk outside too much. Cory our tour guide really gave us the best service. Telling us which wines to choose for what meals. The tasting room is very country style. With nice wooden tables and merchandise to buy. We has an amazing time.

Kari H.

Yelp
Salvatore was great. He greeted me and guided me through the different wines like he really cared. The cab franc and petite Syrah were delicious. It's a beautiful place with great views as you walk around. Plenty of places to sit and relax.

Ryan Y.

Yelp
We came on a Wednesday evening during the holidays and were so pleasantly surprised at the size of the grounds, including the ice rink. The decorations and the music were bumping, and the family fun was in full throttle. We unfortunately could not skate because the sessions were full, but we took for next time we are in town. The red sangria was a hit with our group, and got a couple of the 'souvenir' cups to share amongst us. There were other options like hot chocolate and the like for the family too. In the "main" building, the decor is rustic / barn with a bit of a modern flair. There are plenty of tables both inside and outside, and a stage where there was somebody singing. There was a cookie decorating activity that we paid for, and enjoyed the cookies as well. Overall, a great visit and can't wait to come back again soon!

Kim R.

Yelp
Love Peltzer! Went the day after Thanksgiving and they were bustling. Did a wine tasting and ended up getting a glass. They had a pizza food truck that day...with amazing buffalo chicken pizza. The property is huge. Tons of parking but could use better signage for their overflow lot. Staff is super nice and music and vibe was nice inside the tasting room. I will definitely be back.

Daisy B.

Yelp
Birthday weekend shenanigans!!! I was definitely not expecting doing a wine tour for my birthday, it was my first time doing one of these. I always talked about it but never thought I'd do one this soon. We're from Los Angeles so the drive was very exciting. The longer the drive, the more fun you have. Our tour was set at 11am and it was just perfect timing. As soon as we arrived, Cory our wine specialist was waiting for us. His customer service was just outstanding. Cory was very friendly and helpful he made our tour extra fun. He is definitely knowledgeable and if you ever get to the tour here at Peltzer definitely request Cory. I'm so happy that my hubby chose Peltzer, the location is beautiful and the fact that they've only been open for about 7 years and still expanding just speaks volumes. Definitely agreed on going back in the summer. Perfect way to celebrate 33!!!!

Fidel S.

Yelp
Wow !!! What an amazing experience. I am super glad that we chose Peltzer winery for our behind the scene winery tour. This was my first winery tasting tour, and i'm excited it was with Peltzer winery. Corey our wine educator and tour guy was super friendly and down to earth. He had a great aura. Cory has so much knowledge and explained the wine process very well. Cory took us all around the ranch explaining the different vines while tasting different wines produced by Peltzer. The tour is around two hours, which was perfect It didn't feel rushed. Cory also explain the other services available at the Peltzer Ranch. Peltzer Winery has so much to offer you could rent out a wedding venue , birthday party's or just come and hang out at the ranch and enjoy some great wines surrounded by an amazing staff. You will definitely feel welcome. I will definitely be back soon and will request Cory for our tour guy again he was amazing. I highly recommend Peltzer Winery to everyone.

Juanita H.

Yelp
Peltzer is a good winery and I love their family friendly events. We've been to the pumpkin patch and ice skating rinks several times over the years. I love the vibe and decor and have always had pleasant experiences. I definitely recommend at least for their events, I've not had much of their wine so can't speak to that

Brian W.

Yelp
This is always the best time we have in wine country. They have the greatest setting for relaxing, and have amazing selections of both beer and wine and their own sangria which is absolutely incredible! We don't even bother going anywhere else

Cori K.

Yelp
Anissa was incredibly helpful! I was able to tell her my wine preferences and she pointed me in the direction of which wines to try. This place was incredibly family friendly... they have a pumpkin patch and will have an ice skating rink from November to January!

Kemisi O.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday afternoon. Definitely a fun, rustic place to come to with a group of people. Tried a couple different wines while we where there. If you were looking for something to eat they did have a food truck right by it. Only thing I wish they planned music or something. I know they normally have a live band but in between waiting for them to set up for the band having something play in the background would be nice.

Eydie R.

Yelp
Loved the vibe here. First time in while visiting with my niece and her new baby. Very spacious and inviting with a great Chardonnay.

Kyle V.

Yelp
Great outdoor seating in the shade and indoor seating If you want AC. This is a family friendly place that is great to hang out with kids. It is not as fancy as the other wineries but you can easy entertain for a few hours and kick your feet up. We had the Petit Sirrah which they grow on site and was wonderful. $15 for a glass or $25 for a tasting. They lacked food options and only have basic snacks there. Sometimes they have a food truck but it is independent. I gave a 4 star because of the lack of food for anyone and the louder than needed music.

Kerry E.

Yelp
Love this hidden gem of a winery! When doing a Google search I kept finding more advertisements that it's a farm, but when we showed up I was delighted that it was also a winery that sets up an ice rink in the winter! Looking forward to pumpkin picking here this fall. Their wines are so good that we may become members. Also has live music on weekends!

Norma C.

Yelp
First time at Peltzer, and it was so fun! Cory was a fantastic host. Can't wait to go back again.

Sandra R.

Yelp
Love it here! I would highly recommend to anyone to stop by here! For starters, the property is large with tons of scenic spots and pictures spots - big shout out to the "meet me here" spot! We noticed food trucks outdoors but decided to go in first and ask if we could bring in food, which they confirmed. We got some great food, a glass of delicious wine, and found ourselves a barrel to sit. The environment was so welcoming, they later had live music which added to the experience. Our favorite winery by far!

Lovelyn M.

Yelp
The vibe at Peltzer is totally chill with its spacious indoor and patio seating. Different food trucks and bands come each day; just call to get more info. There are two Tesla chargers available. The only downside is that visitors of all ages are only welcome Sunday-Thursday, which is ironic considering their name is Peltzer Family cellars. It'll be tough for the families who come on Friday and Saturday, which is why we passed on it for a membership option.

Crystal G.

Yelp
My roommates been my winery Guide. She lived in Temecula for a long time and I trust her with all things. She started us right at the top. This place did not disappoint. My dad really love the way they displayed all the rustic farm supplies. This is actually the first place that I've seen with signs warning you about the rattlesnakes. I appreciate that. It's literally been my biggest stress since I moved here . When the sun comes out so do the snakes. Make sure to always stay on the path and away fromfrom long grass . You should be just fine. If ever there comes that moment where you do start to hear a rattle freeze ! Now assess the situation, look around locate the snake ....slowly back away . You should be ok . I'm definitely coming back on a sunnier day. Today was a little cloudy but I still enjoyed it. #5Stars #Top10Wineries #Temecula.

Steffany S.

Yelp
Tasting was great- Service was amazing. We love the vibe and overall ambiance. We will be back for sure!

Ki R.

Yelp
Another stop while we were touring and tasting Temecula for our day trip. This was a great tasting room, too. I love the barn feel and the openness of the tasting room. The staff is super friendly and eager to help answer questions and to pour their wine and some award winning bottles. I ended buying their super Tuscan (red table wine), easy drinking, and well balanced. If you're in the mood and as the weather starts to heat up, they have a few wine slushy as well. In which they are known for as well as the great named bottles, "farmers' night" cap (zinfandel), sweet wine, their aged bourbon oak barrel zinfandel, and "super tuscan". Please come and check this property out you won't be disappointed.

Free S.

Yelp
This winery gives the vibe that everyone is NOT welcome, specifically, people of color. As soon as you arrive, you notice some are greeted/welcomed immediately. Others are just tolerated. I don't feel this is a place for everyone.

Vina R.

Yelp
Late review as i went for the holidays, but definitely coming back as their sangria was delish and i wanted to try their slushie drink. Loved how they decorated for Xmas and that they had an ice skating ring. Also good winery option for families as there is an area that kids can have some fun on select days and areas (believe kids not allowed on the winery section on Fridays and Saturdays). Parking plenty even if you have to park in the dirt lot, but not too bad of a walk. As for the winery there is an option to buy the winery's cup/mason jar drink for $28 that includes a drink and the refills are discounted. Cup was cute, but was not sticking around for long to enjoy the benefits of the discounted refills. Maybe on another occasion which i do plan to come back.

Kim C.

Yelp
By far THE BEST bachelorette wine tasting set up! Thank you to Cory for being our host and making us feel special. All the wines were amazing, along with the cheese boxes. The view is great too and having AC inside was amazing.

Eugene J.

Yelp
My Top Three Winery in Temecula, I love this place , my favorite wine slushy and the many varieties of food trucks that park here and serve the guests here . It's always on my Friday wineries list , got to go . My favorite food truck here that visits here is " Devilicious " and the " Mac truck " , so whenever in the Temecula winery area , always stop by Peltzer.

Erika M.

Yelp
1st timer at this winery! Very family friendly, I saw so many children here. The aesthetic is country with gravel everywhere. I was too scared to bring my kids since they'd turn the outside area into a sand box. But cool rustic look! The frozen sangria is a must. I also got a regular sangria, which was okay. I also did a wine flight that included 3 whites and 3 reds. They were good! I love the food truck outside that serves cubana sandwiches and different style loaded fries.

Stephen K.

Yelp
My mom always insists on visiting wine country in Temecula whenever she comes to visit from Chicago, and we ended up here following a recommendation from another winery we visited. Immediately (on a Tuesday) we were met with a great looking food truck, 5-7 groups of wine tasters, a beautiful barn and fantastic wines. Kelsey was superb behind the bar being patient with our group wanting to try one or two before buying a glass (even with a line forming behind us). This tasting room looks like something right out of a catalog and the winery grounds are gorgeous! They also have a selection of beers for those that don't fancy wines and a plethora of souvenirs! Jordan was also awesome for us when she let my sister swap a drink she wasn't crazy about! Come check out Peltzer if you're in the area - you won't be sorry!

Stacy H.

Yelp
We had the best time on the tour today! Cory was so fun and informative! We got to taste so many wines, and even had a charcuterie!

Star B.

Yelp
We love Peltzer, mostly because it's family friendly. The kids can run around and have a great time. They have a great selection of drinks, so everyone in the party can be happy. The biggest bummer is the prices... it's a big hit to your wallet for a visit, especially during pumpkin season. The longer we live here, the less we visit. This winter, we visited during ice skating season, and after two glasses of wine, we went somewhere else and didn't even make it to skating. Previous seasons, we visited at least twice. Same with the pumpkin patch. This year we went once. In previous years, we went multiple times. Between the tickets, drinks and food trucks, it's just too expensive.

Lalaine D.

Yelp
This place looks like it would be a great location to visit year round. They leverage the farm ambiance. The tasting room "barn" is large, clean and has lots of tables and chairs to sit and enjoy the tastings. They have music events, even a pumpkin patch during the fall season. Love it when there is a place for the kids to enjoy as well. The wines are great. I love it when a winery has estate wines. They made me a fan of Zins again. Bold and fruity but not necessarily Jammie. I loved Jammie when I was younger but have since outgrown that. I'm definitely coming back.

April P.

Yelp
Peltzer is one of our favorites! Beautiful property with lots of areas to hang out and enjoy wine. We did a tasting with Kelsey yesterday, she was very knowledgeable about the wine and helped us pick out a variety of wines to try. She made it fun and we liked all the wine we tried (highly recommend the sparkling rosé). They also have great holiday family events in the fall and Christmas.

Johnette M.

Yelp
Wow! What service. Abby and Garrett are phenomenal! Knowledge of the wine and so so sweet. I signed up for membership! Can't wait to go back!

Faye L.

Yelp
Visiting Temecula, from Phoenix. This place was truly amazing when it comes to customer service. Huge shout out to Kim! Kim you made our day by getting us booked in the tour on Saturday. She was so friendly and knowledgeable, best wine tasting we did all weekend. Also an enormous shout out to Cory. His tour was cool, we had so much fun. We did the tour that includes a tasting from the barrel and a personal charcuterie board, totally recommend it. There was also live music and food trucks. Lots of outside patio seating. Inside has lots of room too. Bright and airy. All around vibe was relaxing and hip. View was beautiful. Would definitely return.

Jaqueline P.

Yelp
Loved this winery! Super laid back and the crowd super sweet. Came here after going to a crowded winery and it was the best decision. The food trucks made getting food so easy and quick paired with a glass of their most sweet recommendation! Great wine and food. The music added ambiance and even inspired my group to check out the country club in town.

Jeff H.

Yelp
Had an amazing day and then it got better! Cory took us on an informative and entertaining tour. Couldn't be better!!

Jeff M.

Yelp
Napa prices, Temecula fruit! This seems to be the case with a lot of Temecula wineries. We had a gift certificate to Peltzer Winery and decided to finally use it. The tasting room is large, rustic and could double as a barn. There are 2 tasting bars, plenty of high top tables with bar stools and several tables out front with a big stage for music. We tasted 6 wines for $25 per person and was offered an additional wine to taste by our host. White wines dominated in taste and as with other Temecula wineries the reds fell short. The list of varietals is overwhelming and I believe contributes to a bad tasting experience as so many lacked the qualities of a wine I would purchase. Service is outstanding and the host are very personable. Sauvignon Blanc was the best wine we tasted and we purchased 2 bottles to take with us along with a little sign. Final damage without tip was $159. The Sauvignon Blanc was good but at $39 each a little pricey. On a side note: we tasted the Cabernet Sauvignon they price at $90 and I just don't know how they sell any at that price. Good for them they get the OC and San Diego party crowds that after a big day of drinking open their wallets. Fun time but if I wrote this review strictly based on the red wine it would only get 2 stars. Temecula should be doing better. Our quest continues as we explore more of the local wineries.

Rosanna R.

Yelp
This review is solely on the ice skating rink and its staff. We were not allowed on the ice because of a staff error with the wristbands. Christian the referee was extremely rude about the issue that was made on behalf of Peltzer. All the while people are walking past Christian who's so preoccupied being rude to use he isn't checking other people's wristbands. The ice is awful, it's 1/4 slushy mess, 1/2 of ice has gashes the size of an adult hand and the rest is decent. This isn't a friendly environment for children with exceptionalities.

Lesly O.

Yelp
Owner is very interesting person, this place has different selection of wine and beers . Service for the most of the part is good.

James F.

Yelp
First and Last visit. Broken down Airstream makes skating rink look like junkyard. IPA was $11.25 for a 12oz plastic cup. I would love a refund. Thank you.
