First visit to Penang Seafood Restaurant — overall a pleasant experience with flavors close to authentic Penang-style cuisine.
🔹Garlic Steamed Baby Cuttlefish: Fresh and tender, nicely infused with garlic aroma, steamed just right without any fishiness.
🔹Seafood Fried Bee Hoon: Great wok hei, crispy edges with soft inside, generous seafood portions, rich in umami.
🔹Penang Laksa: Bold, tangy, and spicy broth with a strong fish base — very close to the real deal. The thick rice noodles absorbed the broth well.
🔹Stir-fried Kang Kong with Squid: Crisp and flavorful, good balance of seasoning and well-cooked squid.
🔹Beancurd Sticks (Fu Zhuk): Soft and silky with a rich soy aroma — simple but surprisingly good.
🔹Nam Yu Pork Belly: Crispy outside, tender inside, deeply marinated with fermented red bean curd — very tasty and great with rice.
💬 Service was polite, though food took a bit of time to arrive. Clean and simple dining environment, suitable for gatherings.
