We walked in without a reservation and were initially offered a standing space, but the team quickly found us seats at the bar once they became available. The service was warm and attentive — everyone seemed genuinely passionate about what they do. Special shout-out to Maria for her thoughtful recommendations and for walking us through the drinks menu. The cocktails were on the stronger side, but each had its own distinct character and flavour profile — we tried four, and every one of them was impressive in its own way. Overall, a wonderful experience with great hospitality and craftsmanship. Highly recommend sitting at the bar if you can!

Awesome cocktail outfit and am not surprised that they are Asia’s top 50. Probably one of the best cocktails I have ever had at Penrose KL. Very rich distinct taste and flavours brought together and enhanced with the likes of cocoa coated parsley stick and fermented leeks.

5 stars all across the board The drinks were immaculate. I do appreciate a good cocktail but I never knew that drinking cocktails could be *this* enjoyable. The two of us had the Cherry Pop, Rum Mussa and the Oba Rossa (which according to the front of house, was a crowd favourite). My personal favourite was the Oba Rossa, with the meringue being an enjoyable way to elevate the drink. What I do have to point out that stood out as the most enjoyable aspect of it was the service. The bartender was a whizz with the drinks and we managed to have some light conversation too. The waitress however, made this an unforgettable experience. I could talk about how she was made our time there a memorable one with her recommendations and great conversational skills. However, what stood out to me was how she managed to make a lone patron feel at home at the bar. It was impressive to see how she managed to make him feel comfortable and I could see his face light up as she led the conversation well, allowing him to talk about things he was passionate about - and in this instance, it was his adventures with bars and the drinks that came with them. Truly an impressive feat. I never got their names but if you two are reading this, thank you for your service. It really does live up to its status as the 8th best bar in Asia

Best cocktails/ vibes we have ever had - all the bartenders especially Mark were knowledgable, kind and super cool to chat to. Well deserved top bar in the world. Rum Musa is life changing. 100% must go when in KL

Drinks are kind of pricey, but they definitely have great drinks! The flavours are a little cheeky with plays on mostly fruity/floral nodes which i love. There are some unique drinks options too Space is a little small, went early and managed to get standing tables. Would suggest to make a reservation if you do not want to miss this out!

Came in planning to do one or two, but I’m at 3 and counting right now. Really delicious drinks - well balanced and elegant. Lovely folks behind the bar as well - Manpreet and Carmen were great - ask for their list of recommendations!

One of the best cocktail bars in Asia, and it’s easy to see why it consistently tops so many reputable lists and awards. The drinks are outstanding, and the service is equally impeccable. A special shoutout to Mark, who served us with such passion and even went the extra mile by recommending other cocktail bars and places to check out in KL. Truly an unforgettable experience.

Really cool spot. We had tried to get reservations and they were booked out for weeks in advance but we bumped into someone at one of their sister bars who got us on the list. The menu is very well designed with a creative twist on classic cocktails. A real cool place for discovering new flavors. Grab a couple of cocktails and then move on.
