I went here for a work lunch, and I had a pleasant time. Many employees in the financial district go here for their lunch hours, and it's honestly a perfect venue for team gatherings. The mid-century interior decor is very elegant, creating an exquisite vibe for socializing. I really love the floor-to-ceiling dark woods and large pillars, curating a special tribute to California history.
The food is a mix or fusion of Italian and Californian tastes, and I thought that their menu offers a variety of selections for diverse taste buds. I ordered their roasted chicken, and it was delicious. The chicken was very tender and juicy with a splash of citrusy flavor. I wish the chicken had a crispier skin, more of a "roasted" texture. To me, it seemed like it's just baked. It was my first time trying couscous, and it was a perfect pairing for the chicken. I'm not entirely sure how authentic it is, but it was still very delicious. The one severe con I have about this dish was the amount of olives. I'm not a fan of olives, but I thought this dish just had an absurd amount. The olives did not really add anything to the dish, so maybe opting out of it and replacing it with another ingredient can probably enhance the overall flavor more.
My co-workers ordered the wild mushroom pasta (not pictured), and they thought it was very delicious, though it was such a small serving. I also tried their Burrata Toast, and it was a delicious appetizer. It had a lot of almonds, and it was a good pair of texture with the silky burrata and sticky, sweet honey.
