I stopped in on a recent snowy Sunday morning to try out their breakfast/brunch menu and was happy with my choice! The traditional, yet industrial decor matches well with the attached Hotel Lincoln (from which many of the diners came) and had a casual, and yet chic atmosphere. The menu is always changing, with the donut being the one anchor. It's dense and best eaten with a spoon and has a delicious chocolate glaze. The skillet was hearty and filling and yet not overly so. Definitely added to my list of places to go more often.

Just had breakfast after checking out of Hotel Lincoln. We really loved the chill atmosphere and great music. The staff was friendly and the food was phenomenal. The mushroom omelette was delicious and the cheese curds in the home fries was delightful.

Service is a key ingredient for any restaurant that wants to be top of the line. While the atmosphere and the scenic view are one of the best in Chicago, the service personnel need more training. Cutting across, reaching out, interrupting a romantic conversation just to take away a glass of wine, which was not quite empty yet...is just rude. We got the message that we were not welcome. My wife and I spent $200 bucks.... we lasted 53 minutes.

We've been here 5 or 6 times now for brunch, and each time was delicious. The menu is truly seasonal and fresh, and the bacon...good lord. Thick, thick cut. Delicious. Great spot to bring your parents for brunch when they're in town.

The pork ribs were outstanding and the brown butter old fashioned was great. Nice location in the Lincoln hotel with a great farm to table menu. Paul Virant the cook enjoys canning and jarring so do yourself a favor and ask for some pickles on the side with what ever you order. Cheers!

Delicious, light and beautiful food – just like the space! I've only been here for weekend brunch but I can say that it's one of the best spots near Lincoln Park. The dishes are a little pricey but I can't get enough of the french toast and brunch cocktails. In the summer, make sure to sit out on the patio with the view of the park.

By far the best meal I have had yet in Chicago!! What a great experience between the host service, the waiter, the venue and the food I left beyond thrilled wanting to go right back in and start the entire experience all over again. The atmosphere is so great within the restaurant you never want to leave. The food was so amazingly fresh and well prepared the tastes were so flavorful and rich. I cannot wait to go back to Perennial!!

My favorite Boka group restaurant - heck, my favorite overall restaurant in Chicago. Our server was knowledgeable and able to recommended wines based on the flavor notes we were looking for, despite the plaid shirt. We started with a medium plate of scallops and watermelons, and were amazed. The little melons were spiced with cherry bomb peppers, which sounds intimidating, but the heat was dispersed and it paired amazingly well with the seared, rare scallops. Definitely a taste combination I'd never had before, and one I want again. Next we got our large plates, Walleyed Pike for her and Young Chicken for me. Both incredible, savory dishes. The fact that everything is farm-to-plate is nice, but the kitchen could be a Syngenta laboratory for all I care and I'd still give them 5 stars. If it tasted the same, that is.
