Where To See & Be Seen In Nashville - Nashville - The Infatuation

"You know your neighborhood has made it when people not only cross the river but venture further west than Downtown to go to your bar. Perfectly Fine is that place in The Nations. It’s got easy-drinking cocktails, chill bartenders, and a packed crowd for phenomenal people-watching that spans types from every nook in Nashville, all wrapped up in a very low-key package. There’s strong pool hall energy and lines out the door on Friday and Saturday nights for mezcal cocktails, plus high odds of bumping into the dude who trims your beard over in Wedgewood-Houston. People who’ve aged out of Mother’s Ruin Hot chicken mac, but good luck finding space to enjoy it" - jackie gutierrez jones 2

The Nashville Bar Hit List: Great New Bars In Nashville - Nashville - The Infatuation

"The West End has been aching for a bar with ample space, really good food, and actually interesting cocktails. Enter: Perfectly Fine, a cool kids hangout that feels like it’s run by former tattoo shop owners. The fried buffalo chicken sandwich is a star here, served with salt and vinegar powder-covered fries so good they could make the Lays empire nervous. Drinks are named “whiskey drink” or “vodka drink” and served in just as simple glassware but contain things like bulgogi marinade or earl grey. Sip your cocktail on one of the velvet couches on the upper deck or on a steel stool in the main room and be thankful the Nations finally has somewhere like Perfectly Fine." - ann walczak

Nashville’s New Restaurant Openings - Nashville - The Infatuation

"The Nations gets a new nighttime hang that parties like Mother’s Ruin at night but straightens up its act for a proper lunch during the day. Cocktails come both made-to-order and on-tap, and there’s also a menu with fried truffle mac and cheese sticks with vodka sauce, fried pickles with Creole ranch, and a shaved ribeye sandwich with whiskey au jus." - jackie gutierrez jones 2

Perfectly Fine - Review - The Nations - Nashville - The Infatuation

"Before Perfectly Fine opened, the options for hanging out in the Nations at a cool bar with really good food were bleak. Thankfully, this place, with its tattoo shop branding, easy-drinking cocktails, and stupidly good buffalo chicken sandwich showed up. As long as you can figure out somewhere else to be between the hours of 2-10am, Perfectly Fine has you covered for the rest. photo credit: Casey Irwin photo credit: Casey Irwin photo credit: Casey Irwin photo credit: Casey Irwin Pause Unmute Sometimes, you just need to shoot a few games of pool while scarfing some nachos and comparing the latest comedy specials on Netflix with your buddy. Perfectly Fine is the place to do just that. It’s also the perfect spot to bring the whole family in for a weekend lunch or to map out your evening plans over a “gin drink” with earl grey and orange and a solid burger. Just be aware: If those plans involve hanging out here on a Friday or Saturday night, you’ll have very little elbow room. Food Rundown Dirty Dirty Cocktail With Vodka, Olive, Peperoncino, Asiago Dirty vodka martini fans will love this take, and it has a glorious cheesiness from the asiago. Ordering two is the minimum. Mezcal Drink With Mezcal, Maple, Bulgogi, Elderflower, Lemon Reading the ingredients of this cocktail prompted us to immediately ask, “Y’all put bulgogi marinade in this drink?” They sure did. Yet, it isn’t overly bold. It’s beautifully smokey, heightened in earthiness by the bulgogi, and smoothed out with the florally sweet combo of elderflower and maple. Fried Buffalo Chicken Sandwich Who knows what’s in this homemade hot sauce. Frankly, they can keep their secrets as long as this thing never leaves the menu. It’s the buffalo chicken sandwich dreams are made of, full of funk from the blue cheese and tangy pops from the pickled onions. It comes with a choice of truffle or salt and vinegar fries, but the salt and vinegar should be the choice, no question. You’ll come back again and again just for this. photo credit: Casey Irwin Whiskey Dip Sandwich A fancy-ish sandwich gets a dive bar makeover. (We mean that with affection.) Thin strips of ribeye, cheese, and onions are sandwiched in a soft roll, perfect for smushing and dipping. It won’t win a beauty contest, but it might win a “best beer sidekick” award. Juicy Lucy Burger This is a really good burger, but juicy lucy it ain’t. There’s a good amount of cheese, yes, but the simple fact that the patties aren’t stuffed with it disqualifies the use of this title. We petition the name be changed to smashburger, and all will be well. (Shout out to those cherry peppers.) photo credit: Jacob Forth Mojo Pork Nachos Don't expect an ooey-gooey, decadent, pile of chips with these nachos. That doesn’t mean they aren’t good though. The pork is tasty, despite being a bit dry, and the rest of the stuff like jalapeños, tomatoes, red onions, and salsa bring pops of freshness. They’re even better alongside the tequila or mezcal drink or a crisp, light beer. Pan Seared Pierogies This is a plate to skip. The pierogies, though handmade, have a distinct Mrs. T’s quality without much flavor. The bacon bits have been noticeably absent when we’ve ordered these, and the kale and mushrooms feel out of place. photo credit: Casey Irwin" - Ann Walczak

Perfectly Fine in The Nations is a cool spot within an old church building that gives off major historic vibes. I love the unique look and feel inside! The staff was super attentive and friendly, and the cocktail menu is a knockout, with options that’ll thrill even the pickiest drink connoisseur. Food was fantastic, though they did mix up part of our order (no biggie, still delicious). The beer selection’s a bit limited but covers enough bases for most. My big set back? The club music blasting at 6 PM wasn’t quite the chill vibe I expected, great for some, just not my jam. Also, parking’s a hassle, so consider ridesharing or walking. Overall, a solid spot for the neighborhood.

Dope spot next to the best guitar shop in town. If you're having your rig tuned up, adjusted or repaired just slide on over for a quick bite and a drink while you're waiting for pickup. Huge outdoor seating area and lots of spots inside and at the bar. Had the whiskey dip with truffle fries and the truffle fries were awesome. Some of the best truffle fries I've had in town. Also got the hot chicken and mac n cheese and it was literally just that. Hot chicken had a good flavor although it wasn't super spicy. Mac and cheese was as traditional as you can expect, no oven baked or weird gouda smoked anything. Just straight mac n cheese like moma would make. Cocktails are solid but not over the top in presentation or delivery. Great draft beer selection 👌 they had ichiban on tap with was awesome to say the least. Mozzarella sticks were just fine with a side of a la vodka type sauce. We also tried the Buffalo chicken sandwich and it was very solid. Def a party type atmosphere and a great alternative to mothers ruin on the opposite side of town. Decor and vibe gave me old fable lounge meets mother's Ruin type of vibe. All in all def recomend this spot to locals and travelers, especially if the line to mothers is down the block. For a town full of resturants that over do it and then miss the mark this spot was..."perfectly fine".

As someone very familiar with the hospitality industry, I would say this spot has a LOT to be desired. I had high hopes when I first found out about its opening, drawn by the high-quality photos posted, but what a let down! In a town with Attaboy and The Patterson House, it has no business labeling itself as a cocktail bar. The drink menu is underwhelming, but I was intrigued by the mezcal drink, curious about the bulgogi added into the syrup. I eat bulgogi on a regular basis, but this drink had no subtlety and tasted like a basic tequila lemon drop, mezcal not high quality, and presentation and flavor extremely mediocre, all for $12. Then the $18 burger...it promptly fell apart as I picked it up. The patty was so overcooked that it just became a bunch of dry beef pieces. The bun was soggy and mushy. What a mess! I ended up eating it by scooping up pieces with a fork... The even more ridiculous thing is a credit card surcharge. In this day and age, in a town like Nashville, it charges a nearly 6% credit credit fee. My item total was $30, and after tax and the credit card surcharge, it was $36+. The service was good, so I did tip 20%, but mind you, the auto-calculation provided on the bill was based on the $36, not the $30. My total bill was $42, for a dive bar drink and a badly executed burger. Having seen multiple iterations of restaurants/bars in this space, I see what they're trying to do. In a neighborhood with dive bars, sports bars, an upscale italian restaurant with decent cocktails, and two craft beer spots, they have the opportunity to carve out a space to be a uniquely top-notch business. However, it's a bar with a severe identity crisis and lacking offerings. The only good thing was the service, so I hope the team are getting paid enough. With how it is now, I would advise the owners to position the bar as a neighborhood hangout type bar and grill with a "vibe". Bring down the prices. Fix the food quality. Innovate on the cocktails if still want the drinks to stand out. At night, turn down the lighting. Rethink the loungey areas that are so out of place and confusing. And for the love of god, get rid of the credit card surcharge and the bouncer - just not classy!

Love this bar, so happy it's in the neighborhood. Sincerely kind and welcoming staff. While it's certainly an upbeat and trendy spot there really are people of all ages and demographics having a great time. The biggest surprise is the food. I've had great burgers all over Nashville and this bar might be sitting on one of the best burgers in town. That said everything on the menu is a hit. I genuinely think the neighborhood is better for them being here.

Good vibes. Bad acoustics Music is so loud that I can’t hear my own thoughts. Add some sound deadening & it’ll be 5 stars hands down. Sorry ladies, hate to say it but most men here are either taken or bat for the other team. No hate, just calling it as it is.

FUN spot. Sister bar/restaurant to Mother’s Ruin. Joe - bartender - was fantastic! The history of the building is very cool. Originally a church - see photo. I’d install sound panels to keep volume down at night. Will be back ….Thanks, Joe

10/10. No notes! Best happy hour I have been to in a long time! Service was amazing, nothing better than a genuinely friendly and happy bar staff. Tried three of the cocktails and loved them all. Ordered the Harissa Bowl and it was delicious, so glad they had an option like that on the menu. My partner loved the burger. Fries were delicious. Definitely a new go-to for us!

Chill vibe for happy hour. Can get quite busy once it gets dark. Drinks are solid. Service is excellent. The two side patios are great with the beer garden perfect for warm evenings. Food is pretty good for a bar. Service is always amazing.
