Peri Peri Grill House

This was our first trip to Brooklyn, and we were satisfied a lot with this cozy and amazing restaurant, PeriPeri Grill House. The chicken was perfectly cooked, and the tangy sauce was absolutely delicious. The price was reasonable, making it a great choice for both your taste buds and your wallet. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall great experience. I’d definitely go back for more.

I ordered 6 peri peri wings, with a side of fries (although they sent rice) and corn on the cob. The wings were meh. Not a ton of flavor and pretty dry. I had ordered the fries, but they sent rice. The rice was good, though, so no complaints. I loved the corn on the cob! They sprinkle peri peri seasoning on it, and it’s so good! Prices are pretty reasonable. Overall, I wouldn’t order chicken from here again, but might try other items.

We decided to stop by Peri Peri Grill House after we were in the neighborhood and read the great reviews. It was a bit empty at the time so we were a little hesitant to even try it. We got the hot boneless chicken thigh (peri peri) with a side of fries, as well as the 8oz beef burger. One of the sauces was really good. The place is clean, the food tastes good too. However, it’s a bit pricy for the neighborhood and what’s provided. For example, you get your food on paper plates. It’s not a big deal, but for the price, you’d expect actual plates. Furthermore, you get a small portion of peri peri chicken with lots of fries. The burger does not come with fries or a drink. $14.99 is too much for just one burger. The peri peri chicken should come with rice but rice isn’t a side option unless you purchase it separately. Overall, the food is good but chicken portions could be improved and rice should be provided as a side option for the peri peri chicken.

Delicious! Huge portions of chicken cooked to perfection and reasonable prices. 'Hot' has a good taste to it, though I added some peri peri sauce. Mac n cheese is good, though I didnt really care for the salsa on top. The fries needed to be cooked more but otherwise were good. If you still have room after all that, grab a milkshake. They make them with real ingredients for whatever flavor so they taste legit!

The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Would definitely come back again and again!

Okayish Peri Peri Chicken. Friendly staff, good service. Prefer other places over this Peri Peri chicken. Also, their front door is broken so when it's cold outside it's really hard to sit there and eat. They also don't really have a lot of soda choices for drinks (there was no ginger ale). Overall, it's just a decent place and good for "to-go" order.

I found couple hairs in side chickens I don’t recommend to anyone go there so shit spicy 🌶️

I don't eat chicken so I can't review their most popular items but they gain points for being pretty vegetarian-friendly. There are a few tables inside for dining in! Got an Impossible Burger w/ Fries + Mac and Cheese and a coke. Criiispy (premade) fries + great sauce on their burger. Skip the mac. so terrible! soupy, flavorless, no seasoning or salt on the noodles. Should have gotten the corn instead. Would definitely come back as the burger was great and I bet some of the other sides are way better.

I absolutely loove the food from Peri Peri Grill house. I found it on a random walk one afternoon and when visiting a friend in that part of brooklyn. Seeing "peri" in the name made me curious so I had to give it a try. It's a small restaurant which can seat no more than 10 people. The person taking my order was so polite and patience. He took his time with me as I looked at the menu and asked many questions about the sauces. I settled for the Jerked wings and peri peri rice. What really blew me away was the rice! It's a spicy seasoned rice with south African spices. The chicken wings were okay and when dipped in the garlic sauce it was great. After eating that meal, I immediately went back and placed another order for my mom so she could try it. My fav thing on the menu is the jerked chicken breast and peri peri rice. Its a great, clean meal to have on the go.

3.5 stars The food here is halal but the menu is limited. Just peri peri chicken and sandwiches/wrap wirh the same peri peri meat. They do have veggie and beyond burgers. The price is a bit pricey for the portion size. We got a whole peri peri chicken in garlic and herb sauce which was in the middle of the spice scale. It wasn't so spicy. The flavor was decent but I had much better. They also give some other sauces on the side.

Placed an order for a chicken wrap and they sent me a burger and wouldn't redeliver my correct order.

Chicken thigh sandwich is a go-to menu item. Eat it on the spot. so juicy and the marinades hit right. The chicken plates are good too because of the marinades. Peri Peri fries are perfectly seasoned. Fast food vibe. service is friendly.

On my first visit waited no more than ~10 min wait for some juicy and tasty wings. Fries were delicious but definitely could cut back on the salt hard. On a second try, a month later, I of course did more wings and the fries but also went with their mac. The mac wasn't legit (haven't found any around really, smh). The cheese wasn't nor was the dish flavorful but at least they used elbow pasta:) The wings were super spicy this time around (got the same sauce as my last order). So either the sauces are made in advance (the heat would build up) or they're made day to day and ingredients aren't measured out but felt. Either way the chicken was still juicy so definitely worth ordering from in the future. Overall glad I finally had a hankering for wings and found a quick spot for my fix.

Great bbq jerk wings and quick service. The wings are not fried which is even better. They are grilled with a perfect charring on them

Ok I'm a peri peri Stan, after a great recommendation I had to try it for myself. Their lamb is my favorite by far. It's so flavorful and tender and it's more than enough in my opinion, but I feel myself wanting more after being stuffed lol. I pair it with their seasoned fries that has a sweet, but savory powder on it. Their other sides are really good, my second favorite is the mashed potatoes. I do wish they would put a bit more cheese in the Mac and cheese, but it's still very much valid! Their chicken is really good too, I only had the lemon herb but it was extremely juicy and tender. The customer service is cool it usually takes 10-15 minutes to get your food so I would call in advance. It's not really a sit down and eat type place but I still love this hidden gem.

I was excited to try this place for a while. When I did, I ordered mac n cheese bites and chicken wraps for myself and my partner. When they arrived, everything was cold. The mac n cheese bits were kind of soggy, and I couldn't finish my wrap because the taste of onion was so overpowering and otherwise lacking in flavor. I like onion, but it was the only flavor. I couldn't even taste the mango lime salsa. I might give them another try down the line, maybe in person instead of delivery.

Love their chicken sandwich only downside is I wanted more of it, other than that I haven't tried anything else and I would say it's a bit pricey for the size of the sandwich but would come back every now and then

I must have gotten the wrong thing. My meal wasn't that great -- I got the chicken wrap with hot sauce and the fries with seasoning on it. The wrap tasted like grilled chicken with a bunch of hot sauce on it... nothing special at all. Fries were good but too much seasoning on it. Borderline salty. Maybe get the wrap with sauce on side so you control how much is in there? IDK.....

What happened? No more lamb chops... Burger was a frozen patty... And wings were so disappointing! Did they change ownership?

The fries were amazing. Seasoned and crunch so perfectly. The grilled chicken sandwich was quite good and seasoned well. I would definitely recommend

Food is always amazing the only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because where's the lamb? You guys had the most amazing lamb in the area.

I stumbled upon Peri Peri's while in the neighborhood. Service was fast and friendly. I ordered 6 wings and a salad at it was $18. I didn't open the the bag until I got home but the Peri Peri sauce hadn't been closed and it spilled all over the bag. Bummer I was looking forward to tasting it. The wings were wingettes so for $20 I had basically an appetizer and I was still hungry. The chargrilled wings were flavorful and salad was basic. The food was good but not go out of my way to come back.

Not quite Nandos but pretty close. The hot peri peri sauce is AMAZING, chicken cooked perfectly. So delicious!

After traveling to London & Lisbon, I have been missing the delicious Peri Peri Chicken. I miss Nando's at London & Frangasquiera Nacional in Lisbon. Those are the best peri peri chicken places I have eaten so far. I yelped and found this place in brooklyn. After reading the wonderful reviews on its comparison to Nando's, I knew I had to come here. We ordered: 1) 12 wings, 2) 4 lamb chops, 3) mac&cheese, 4) peri peri fries, 5) half chicken, 6) grilled vegetables. We ordered in mild and the peri peri spices on the food were lacking. The wings were ok and not even close to the ones sold at Nando's. I was quite disappointed with the wings. I felt that the peri peri seasoning was lacking. The wings were also small in size. The lamb chops were ok and small in size. The half chicken was moist but lacking in flavor. The fries were good, tasted like how fries were with little peri seasoning. The grilled vegs were ok. Their mac&cheese was medicore, would not recommend. Tried their sauces: sweet chili, mild, garlic & herb - thought the sweet chili one was the best out of the 3. Overall, the peri peri food did not pass my expectations. Staff was very friendly and seating was comfortable. There is also a bathroom which was nice. You order in the front and find a spot to sit. They print out a receipt with a number and when your food is ready they will call that number out.

I like Peri Peri. Service is friendly and consistent and the wait for food is never long. I typically just come for the seasoned fries. Most recently I tried the falafel wrap and it was small but filling, and not very memorable. I like falafel crispy and this was the soft, packed kind. I opted out of their signature seasoning salt on the falafel since I'd previously had it on the veggie burger and found it way too salty. The sauces lean on the spicy side, so I use just a tad. And unless I get the fries plain (no seasoning) the sauces are too strong. All in all, Peri is a good stop for reasonably priced, made to order fresh fries and fast casual eats.

La La La La Looove this food. Their flavors are beyond what you would taste at Nandos. I believe it is a South African/Brazilian mix (I could be wrong) but I've never had lamb taste so gooooood!

I discovered this spot after perusing Yelp for an awesome burger spot in the Bed Stuy area. After reading a few outstanding reviews I place a phone order for pickup. The inside is very clean with nice art decor and a few seats to eat and dine in with. The service was good. The burger was exceptional! I order mine medium well. 85% was cooked that way and the rest was medium to almost rare. However this burger was juicy and I can't wait to go back for more. It takes real fresh and like it was seasoned with love. The fries were deliciously seasoned, crispy and plentiful. I also I ordered a quarter leg which was delicious I got the Mango Passion Sauce to go along with it. I highly recommend this spot. I'll go back to try the wings and the lamb which they have to offer. The food here is halal so no pork, FYI. Parking is limited to street parking, because there's no parking lot.

I have had peri peri in South Africa before, so I was excited to see a place open up not to far from where I used to live. I've had the chicken a number of times both mild and hot and I 100% prefer the hot flavoring. The mild is dare I say too mild and the hot is just right. The chicken is juicy and flavorful and a solid size for the price. I also once tried the lamb, which was really really REALLY delicious, I'm working on replicating that marinade, like damn! lol but it's pricey and I'm not sure I can justify the price, so will stick with the wings. The fries are fine, nothing amazing, not terrible. Solid new bed Stuy place!

It was fantastic. Entire family loved it. The seasoning and spices were perfect. The staff was also very friendly. Would 100% recommend to anyone, especially if you are looking for good halal chicken.

The buzz around this place in the neighborhood is crazy. For the amount ofmy neighbors raving about the chicken, I expected the line to be horrible. South African grilled chicken? Yes, please I walked straight in and was assisted by a friendly guy behind the counter in making a 1st timer choice. The hunger and indecisiveness settled on a mild chicken wrap. NOTE: mild is actually slightly spicy if you get the wrap, I think it's the peri peri mayo. Okay. The flavor? Smokey and delicious. Texture? Fresh crisp veggies (grilled and raw onions ), tender chicken and ripe avocado (1.50 extra). And you get a choice in wraps, whole wheat or plain. I really like my wrap, although it's a bit pricier than others similar in size, taste and quality. Every employee asked did I enjoy my lunch, even the chef. I did and I will surely be back.

This was my second time at this place and I have to say the double meat chicken burger was the best thing ever. One thing to note was that the extra hot was not too spicy !! So definitely don't be afraid of going extra hot. Even though I live in Manhattan I happily make the trek for this gem in Brooklyn! And of course the best part of it all it's HALAL

The wait was long but it was worth it. Peri peri sauce is a tangy hot sauce. They have a variety of sauces. I got the mango passion wings which was good but I wished the chicken had more of the sauce. I also ordered the Cole slaw, strawberry milkshake and fries. This meal was very filling I didn't even get to finish it so I had leftovers. The fries were seasoned and were tasty. The milkshake was creamy and smooth. The coleslaw wasn't bad slight tangy if I'm not mistaken I think it has the peri peri sauce. The best sauce is their homemade sweet chili sauce wish I can buy it from them. They also have the different sauces inside if you want to try and taste. I will definitely come back to try the other food items.

I got hooked on their lamb chops here, because they accidentally got our delivery order wrong and I got to try the chops here and it was really good. Since then, I have been here twice for dine-in option and though I don't care for the atmosphere, but the lamb chops are good enough for me to endure the craziness. Most recently, I ordered the lamb chops during COVID and I felt this was off. It didn't taste the same and it wasn't as good, so I was greatly disappointed because it didn't satiate my craving. I am hoping it was only a fluke, but for now I am taking a break from this place until this pandemic is over.

This place is located in the heart of Brooklyn. Their staff is very nice and friendly. This isnt a place i would come in for a date, its more like a fast food joint. Dont get me wrong, people were dining in but its not somewhere I'd like to be taken on a date. The food is very good. Unfortunately i dont have pictures because i ordered it to go and when i got home, i was famished and immediately devoured my dinner. While i was enjoying my meal, i kept thinking that this place was awfully similar to a chain restaurant in the DMV area called nandos which is Portuguese. When i tell you that the menu, the sides, the sauces... EVERYTHING about this place is exactly like Nandos. Its honestly scary. Maybe these two places have the same owner or something. I had their mac and cheese which was okay. Also had their version of the coleslaw which was also average. Got a quarter leg dark meat meal which was good. The food was good but again my judgment is flawed bacause of Nandos. I am glad that there's finally a peaudo nandos in NYC but if you're going to be similar, be better or imitate better than the original. Not sure if I'll be back but if you're looking for a Portuguese fix, this will do just fine

5 days ago Delicious but cold because the door closes slowly..one has to eat with their coat on..the service was fast and I like the selection of sauces from mild to super spicy. It seems a lot of orders are done by grub hub, uber eats or postmates Lots of delivery people are walking in to pick up bags for delivery Their fries are awesome and crispy. I had chicken with fries and a twix shake for dessert

Omg the food is awesome. First time trying them and I am in love. Wished they would of gave us utensils n napkins but other than that it's great. The wings are juicy. The lamb chops were cooked to perfection not dry at all. Will be ordering again.

I dream about their wings. Perfect char. Juicy AF. Most importantly, they're super clean/ halal (I am very picky). All the sauces are delicious and full of flavor, but my faves are peri peri mild + hot. As a grilled wing afficionado who has celiac and can't eat fried wings, I could honestly eat their chicken every day and be happy.

Very good Halal establishment. Peri Peri is Always on point when I go. My favorites are their chicken wraps and wings. They have a variety of flavors. I've grown fond of their spicy, garlic and mango sauces. There arent many places in the immediate area that provide this level of consistency and food quality. Is Peri Peri perfect? No. But it comes very close to being that.

2.8 miles isn't far enough to keep us apart. Since our first day meeting I've been hooked. Peri... I need to end this today. Tonight was our last night together. Not because of how you taste. I've tried quite a few different things- Seasoned fries-dip it with the chilli sauce and say thanks Shirrell after that bite. Lamb- seasoned well, tender, mouth watering, succulent. I sucked your bone dry! wings- tried very hot, mango passion, and I can't remember the other flavor but all left me wanting more and more. chicken burger- pepper jack cheese, very hot.... sigh you were my favorite Unfortunately you make me so happy you're expanding my waist line so we must part ways so I can figure out how to prioritize my life. Summer body starting soon and with around I won't fit in my bikini in March for Jamaica..... I'll miss you but I need a few months Btw we've never taken 1 pic together smh but we'll make up for lost times soon.

Peri peri is delicious. My second time eating from here and no complaints. The joint is small but still has a good amount of seating options if your in the mood. I walked here with my boyfriend the other day and the wait was a bit longer than usual. That's where they lost a star but besides that amazing food. I've had the wings here which are grilled for those who enjoy fried wings it's still pretty tasty. My second dish was the chicken sandwich which consisted of a nice size chicken cutlet. It was delicious. You are able to choose heat levels as well for my spice girls out there. Last, i would definitely recommend the fries. I love French fries and the seasoning they use is unlike any I've had elsewhere. If your a French fry connoisseurs don't past!!

This place is bomb!! Kept hearing how good they food was. Glad I came to check it out for myself. So food is sooo melts right in your mouth. The lamb chops are soo tender and juicy so sauce to put on it is also a killer. The Mac n cheese is awesome. I was gonna say the price was a little steep but it's well worth every penny. Thinking bout getting seconds lol The place is extra clean. I like how small and cute it is inside. The staff super friendly and great customer service. Will definitely be spreading the word around. This will be my spot from now on.

My brother and I ordered food from this restaurant using Grub hub and the first thing I have to compliment them on is how quick they got the order to us. We ordered the Mac and cheese and two orders of wings one extra hot and the other garlic. Unfortunately when we got the order a good amount of the cheese spilled out of the bag and onto the napkins, utensils and the other food containers. The Mac & Cheese had a powdery taste it wasn't nasty but it was just weird and the peri sauce wasn't noticeable to us. My wings were okay nothing amazing but also nothing to complain about, my brother said they were spicy but he was shocked they described it to be their hottest sauce as it didn't taste like it. Overall I like their speed and that the food was hot. The customer service is amazing as well, if you're in the neighborhood check it out.

This place is a hidden gem if you're in the mood for in my opinion, "hands down the best halal food" in Brooklyn. The insides is very clean and comfortable, everyone working there was very pleasant and informative on menu items, and food was cheap and good! I got their peri peri chicken sandwich (11.95) with their lemon herb flavor and it was without a doubt one of the most moist chicken breast sandwiches I ever had. They nailed cooking chicken breasts which is something I always have a tough time with at home myself. The sandwich also comes with french fries and at the side counter you can sample all their sauces to keep things interesting for your palate. They had their signature spicy and mild peri sauce that had sort of a citrusy tang imo, a garlic herb sauce, and some others. The heat was just enough to enjoy on the spicy and the sandwich is large enough to satisfy your appetite if you're in for a quick cheap eat. If I'm ever close by I'd come back just for their peri peri sauce and chicken sandwich.

Love this place! The food is made fresh, which I appreciate. You can taste the grill with every meal. I've gotten a few things; I'll rate them: Wrap - B+ Peri Peri Fries - A Lamb Chops - A Grilled Chicken Cutlet w Rice - B- (inconsistent) Wings - B I always feel like I get my money's worth. I've ordered delivery and walked in to place an order for carry out and received relatively quick service both times. I discovered Peri Peri during quarantine with a friend and am glad to know they are consistently serving the Brooklyn community. Overall - B #outtoeatwithJB

This place was solid. I was looking for a quick bite for lunch. Peri Peri didn't turn up on any food delivery apps, so I called and ordered for pick up. It was ready within 5 - 10 mins so this hungry girl was happy she didn't have to wait too long. I got mild chicken wings and peri peri rice for about $10. The chicken had good enough flavor and the rice was really tasty. I wish the chicken had some more color to it and was grilled a bit more. Maybe next time I'll ask them for it well done. You can get the chicken with different sauces (herb garlic, something with mango, mild or hot sauce). I'll be back to try some other items on the menu!

I absolutely love them. Coleslaw and lamb is so tasty. I thought that they were closed but just called to find out that they've reopened after being closed for awhile.

This place is the real deal! I wanted to try it because I was intrigued by the Peri Peri spice, which I've heard so much about from my European friends but never tried. We ordered the 4 piece lamb chops, 6 piece hot wings, beef burger, and a side of mashed potatoes and Peri Peri fries. Food was absolutely amazing! My fiancé ate one bite of his first wing and literally said "wow." And he wasn't kidding (plus I've never heard him emote like that after a first bite - it was a commercial worthy moment). Loved the sauce used for the wings, the tenderness of the lamb chops, and the rich flavor of the burger. Every bite was finished- we left nothing and definitely fell into that deep slumber of satisfaction once the meal was up. There's a lot more on this menu to try and we will definitely be back. Don't forget to use the assorted dipping sauces for the wings/fries. My personal faves was the hot sauce and garlic/herb sauce! Staff was very friendly and helpful, and you can tell they're passionate about the food and what they do - it was a local, authentic, and refreshing experience.

Stopped by this place for lunch and came away very satisfied with the food and price of the meal. I ordered 6 wings and fries which was a very big portion. The fries had a seasoning that was a little spicy but very tasty. The hot sauce on the wings had a little heat but nothing too hot. I enjoyed that they had all of their sauces available to try when you dine in- I liked dipping the fries in the different sauces. Overall a great casual spot for a cheap delicious meal.

I was searching around to find a good chicken spot to eat at. This place is really good. I got a half chicken with corn. I wish I would of got extra hot. I had got the normal hot level. It was really good, but I can take spice. Next time I go, I will get the extra hot! The chicken has a great taste to it, and the sauce is very tasty. It has a unique taste. The corn had a nice char on it, and some of the sauce got on the corn and it went pretty well together. The cashier was nice and helpful. Also cool interior. Not really that big, but it had a cool vibe to it. I will definitely be returning when I get a chance to go to Brooklyn again.

As I've mentioned many times before, I love roast/rotisserie chicken. In our area, this version ranks somewhat behind Lula Bird and Purbird. Don't get me wrong- they make a good bird. But at times we've found that they care a little bit less about the quality of their product vs. those other places. For example, we've had an overcooked version and they've ignored my delivery instructions a couple of times. It's the little things... but like I said, they still make a good bird.

Hell yeah! This place just opened and it's lit AF. The staff was unbelievably friendly and welcoming. The wings were grilled perfectly and super juicy from being marinated overnight. And the hot sauce was dope. I'm excited to try their extra hot sauce next time I come in. I got grilled vegetables too and they were super tasty but like, who wants to read a review about vegetables? I gotta try their mashed potatoes and coleslaw the next time I come in. They don't just do wings. They have lamb chops, burgers, falafel-veggie burgers. It all looked good but my stomach (and wallet) isn't big enough to try everything in one sitting. They do milkshakes too and even have one with Ferrero Rocher in it, so you know this place is fancy.
