I've been to this Haitian restaurant twice now. My first visit was absolutely stellar--delicious food, bold flavors, and great service. I was genuinely excited to come back. Unfortunately, the second visit was a major letdown.
They were out of several main dishes, including the goat (again), the meatballs (boullet), and other items we were looking forward to. We settled for jerk chicken, which was okay, but not memorable. It was pretty dry.
The Haitian meat patty was a 0/10--dry, burnt at the bottom, and barely had any meat inside. It felt like eating a plain Hawaiian roll. The mac & cheese was bland, lacked seasoning, and the cheese had no flavor, literally zero. We specifically ordered djon djon rice with our meals but were given regular rice and beans instead.
It took us over an hour to get there, and sadly, it just wasn't worth it. Don't think we'll be back.
