Swanky-meets-casual dining room with classic Italian fare, plus tree-shaded garden & gourmet market.
"The restaurant, owned by Steve Perricone, is closing after 27 years in business. Known for its family-friendly atmosphere, it announced the news on May 3, stating that the last day of operation would be May 16. The original location opened on October 16, 1996, in Brickell, across from a city park. Perricone aimed to bring a touch of Central Park’s Tavern on the Green to Miami. Despite initial doubts about the location, the restaurant became a popular spot for Brickell’s thriving community. In 2020, Perricone reopened the cafe and market in West Brickell amidst the global pandemic. Now, at the age of 70, Perricone has decided to close the restaurant to spend more time with his family." - Laine Doss
"Perricone's is an Italian restaurant and market right on the edge of Brickell. They serve pretty standard Italian-American food, although it's not good enough to justify the cost. The restaurant itself is also a little too stuffy for a fun dinner. The better option here is to come for lunch and grab a sandwich to-go (the chicken salad sandwich is good) from their market." - Ryan Pfeffer
"After closing its longstanding location in Brickell 16 months ago, Perricone’s Marketplace & Cafe is re-opening in its new space today." - Olee Fowler
