"Peru Chicha is a casual, family-run spot where ceviche is the top priority. You'll see several varieties on the menu at this Gardena strip mall spot, but we usually just get the trio that comes with traditional fish ceviche, a spicy variation with calamari, and crispy fried ceviche shaped into a golf ball-sized nugget. There are fancier options for Peruvian food in South Bay, but we like the rustic charm of Peru Chica. Aside from ceviche, concentrate on the section dedicated to Chinese-Peruvian dishes, like El Aeropuerto, a giant mountain of half fried rice, half fried noodles topped with a fried egg and a choice of protein. "Peru Chicha is a casual, family-run spot where ceviche is top priority. You'll see several varieties on the menu at this Gardena strip mall spot (located between an animal clinic and one of those places where you paint and drink wine), but we usually just get the trio. It comes with traditional el misio, el pituco with ají amarillo, and el frito, a plump, deep-fried fish ball. This is among the best ceviche in the South Bay, and if you want to fill out your table with a few more things, concentrate on the section dedicated to Peruvian-Cantonese dishes. We particularly love the aeropuerto, a giant mountain of fried rice and noodles topped with a fried egg and a protein of your choice." - Brant Cox

Google
Honestly, amazing food but TERRIBLE service. Causa Limeña - highlight of the visit. I've never had this food in regular Peruvian spots! I love the pressed mashed potato and in the middle is a refreshing chicken salad. The wonton strips on top was also complimentary to the mashed texture of potatoes. I highly recommend getting this dish. Lomo Saltado - very good! Very soupy though that the fries turn into stewed potatoes. Great flavor and they don't put so much onions unlike pollo inka 🙄 Aeropuerto - I thought the noodles were separate but that's my bad. I was thinking chowmein and fried rice like panda express but this dish is fried rice with bits of noodles in it. So it's just carb overload. Eat this with other protein cuz this dish was good but it needs something else to balance it out. Got Maracuja juice and it's VERY fresh! The sad part was the service and the atmosphere. I love the colorful vibes but it's packed in there. The tables are really close together, and despite how close the tables are, it's harder to get serviced properly. The waitress sat us and had us wait to order for 20min! She has walked by us and locked eyes with us multiple times. We've gestured and verbally expressed that we are ready multiple times and she kept making a hand gesture of one moment. They weren't even busy. Everyone was starting to leave when we got there. I think it may be because I am Asian so she thought I can't get by with my Spanish but I ordered in Spanish enough for her to understand. I HATED being treated like that. Overall, I'm giving grace to this spot because the food is made really well, but don't have servers who will purposefully ignore customers.

Google
This quaint little restaurant is in a little strip mall, nearly hidden away with plenty of parking. Nice relaxed environment; food was delicious and very reasonable priced; our server was very friendly and professional, she also gave us some drinks to try and great suggestions on what to try. We left impressed and very happy.

Google
Delicious food, great service, generous portions. We ordered ceviche, lomo saltado and bisket a lo pobre. Everything was delicious, though my favorite was lomo saltado, it was so good.

Google
Food was okay. Gave this place a try because of the reviews so I checked it out. Ordered the following items -Pollo Saltado -Tallarín verde con bistec -Salchipapas Thought it was gonna taste better. Not saying the food wasn’t good but flavor wise things could improve with these dishes. Also, I ordered chicha morada but the flavor was more cinnamon than any other flavor. I used to go to a spot down that street called El Virrey. Now that was a good hole in the wall place. Feel like this is too overrated.

Google
Ordered the fried rice (chaufon) and green chicken rice soup (Aaguadito De Pollo). Better chicken and rice soup than other local places (pollo inka/burnt tortillas) - highly recommend. It is not fast food so make sure you make time to go or call ahead (may take several times because it does get busy). I came back for fried rice (chose chicken, but they have beef and seafood options as well) because it was good last time.

Google
Excellent food!!! Big portions, kind of pricy but right for what they give you The customer service was great too, and very funny menus in the house!! I would definitely come back a million times

Google
Food was amazing and that says a lot because I haven’t been impressed in the past with Peruvian food that I’ve had. I had the beef stir fry with red & green onions with tomatoes over rice. The beef had a wonderful flavor all by itself and I wanted to eat everything all at once, it was that good! I will admit that I was starving but I’m a picky eater and don’t like a lot of things. I gave 4 stars for service because my server didn’t speak English but she was polite. This was my first time eating here but it surly won’t be my last. LOVED IT!!! Highly recommend.

Ali I.

Yelp
Cute place in a random strip mall. No counter but you sit and are helped as someone comes out of the back. The ceviche was soooo good. I usually don't care for white fish ceviche but omg this did not disappoint. We were asked how we wanted the beef cooked and it actually came out medium as asked! The lomo saltado was good! The quality of the meat was better than most places. Most of the dish however was made up of the french fries. Delicious gem... will be back to try all the different varieties of ceviche!

Yelp
While waiting to view a house in the Gardena area of Los Angeles we stumbled upon this Peruvian Gem. The waitress only spoke Spanish so I knew the food would be amazing. We were seated and given menus that were beautifully made and easy to read. The waitress took our order and provided us with samples of the house made juice. The food was very good and authentic, you can tell it was genuinely made with love and care.

T J.

Yelp
Just tried them out for the first time and got a mix of different types of plates. Everything was tasty and they provide very good portions. I dont have Peruvian food alot, so I can't compare to other places, but the Jalea Mixta and the Aeropuerto were great! I was really happy and will be ordering from again.

Maruko X.

Yelp
Ambiance: it's a hidden gem in South Bay Area, the restaurant is located in a quiet plaza, shared parking lot with other merchants, small dining area inside with counter and kitchen area, most people come for takeout Service: very friendly although the server barely speaks English, it's fine just using google translate if you don't speak Spanish Food: there are few classic categories of Peruvian food on their menu board Potato Chips & Dipping Sauce - *** complimentary JALEA REAL Mixta - ***** Crispy seafood, cassava, tartar sauce, salsa criolla, crispy fried fish fillet, shrimp, calamari, mussels, and yuka, highly recommend TALLARIN A LA HUANCAINA - **** Lomo and Fetuccini with huancaina sauce, flavorful meat and creamy pasta, recommend Price: generous portions and affordable prices, about $25 per person for a very fulfilling meal

OG R.

Yelp
Easy parking in the plaza. I have tasted better Lomo Saltado somewhere else. It did not taste as I expected. The employees barely spoke English, which made it hard for non Spanish speaker to order.

Takao M.

Yelp
Small restaurant located inside a small plaza on Western Ave, sitting capacity is for about 22 people. Music is blasting the place from 2 different angles; the dining area and the kitchen. Large screen playing music like it's karaoke night, sometimes with music videos too. It might be ok for a bar but this place doesn't even sell beer so that's something that was rather confusing to us. Service was very friendly and very polite but I wish they start asking their customers if the noise is too loud or not, so they can make an adjustment, especially when we were the only two customers at that time. We didn't ask because I avoid upsetting anyone who has access to my food, if you know what I mean... ;) Lomo saltado was nicely done, but it was missing some of the flavors one can only get when exposing the stir fry to the flames so it felt rather homemade, but the meat was very tender and the tomatoes were firm so we enjoyed it. We also had the seafood rice, aka arroz con mariscos, which it was nice too but slightly too wet for my liking and it felt more like a paella. Honestly, one of the main reasons behind the few stars has a lot more to do with the level of noise in this place. The food here is not bad at all but it could use a little adjustments here and there. Unfortunately, they're also using styrofoam for their takeout which is banned in many places nowadays.

Yelp
Best peruvian restaurant ! i wait for my food but it is worth it ! I went there 2 years ago and went back last week best peruvian food in town by far !! leche de tigre the best ! ! good luck !

Natalie S.

Yelp
Absolutely awful service I would like to commence this by stating that I recognize this place is authentic and is true to Peruvian food, however, the service is atrocious. My family and I came here to eat today and although we were kind and understanding that they're busy and didn't rush the waitress to attend us, she had the audacity to tell us to move to accommodate a bigger party DESPITE the fact that we arrive their 20 minutes earlier and didn't even have our order taken. Sinceramente, yo trabajo mucho y soy una persona buena que me tratan así en esta manera- si eres Latinoamérica, yo te sugerí que NUNCA VENGAS en este restaurante

David Y.

Yelp
You know the place is legit and authentic when they are committing to speaking to me and my party in Spanish despite none of being visibly from a Spanish speaking ethnicity. The servers were kind and helpful, and very quick with delivery. The food is absolutely delicious - I strongly recommend getting the aji de gallina. One of the best I've had.

Gabriela K.

Yelp
Really bad customer service, I came on a Sunday for lunch with my family , we were waiting for a table , the waiters just don't care and let other people come when as a loyal customer know they don't accept reservations , you should have respect for your customers , you lost a client . 000 stars for this place

Jennifer G.

Yelp
First time here so we ordered fried calamari and lomo saltado tallarin verde. Quick service, fresh and tasty. Lomo saltado tallarin verde is rich and full of flavor. The cubes of steak were nice and tender. The jalea calamar (fried calamari) is really fresh, light and crispy. There was no rubbery texture whatsoever. The lime juice marinated onions was tart and tangy. Great for dipping the calamari in. There was fried yucca and a lottle bit of fried hominy in the mix as well. The restaurant is casual and clean. When you enter you are greeted with upbeat latino music playing in the background. The owner could tell we were new so they gave us a taste of passionfruit juice and chicha morada. We will be back to try more menu items.

Yelp

Priscilla C.

Yelp
Stoped by today tried to get something to eat, took my dog next door to get surgery, decided to get something to eat, stopped at this place and tried to order something, first thing the girl was tearing me like I was homeless or something. Tried ordering something, she had an attitude, normal I don't care for does things being a server and all. But honestly I found that rude and walked out, didn't bother ordering anything. Got treated like I had no money or would run out on my check. Will not be recommending thing place.

Betto L.

Yelp

Virgilynn B.

Yelp
I came here with a friend and we loved their food. Ambiance was pretty quiet since it was just us two for a while. Very clean and lots of nice artwork. Service was quick and our server was very attentive to our requests. The items we ordered were all very tasty. See photos. We also ordered a pitcher of passion fruit juice which was very refreshing. If you want to try some authentic Peruvian food, come try Peru Chicha! Not featured was their El Chupao but it was very filling and delicious.

Manuel S.

Yelp
Let me start by saying the food is authentic Peruvian food, but the service by far was atrocious. My family and I sat ourselves without being greeted, while asking for the server to take our order. A larger group comes & almost immediately we are asked to move tables or pretty much leave. We all set time aside from our busy schedules to dine at this establishment just to not eat at all & ruined our lunch. Terrible service & disappointing to say the least. We will never recommend this place to anyone one.

Kristy L.

Yelp
Tiny hole in the wall but worth the try. Good portion size and everything we ordered was very good. We got the lomo saltado, pasta with lomo saltado and chicken fried rice. The staff don't really speak English but they're all very nice. The restaurant itself is very small with limited seating - same goes for the parking lot. Highly recommend ordering from Grubhub if you are carrying out and doesn't speak Spanish. Definitely coming back to try other dishes.

Clara D.

Yelp
These guys would make Gastón proud. They know how to make delicious saltados (Tallarín Saltado) and ceviche. They are a little bit of a drive for us, but despite us having closer options, we prefer to make the drive. The flavors are closer to the dishes I've had in Lima, including their "Chifa", love their Aereopuerto. Their customer service could improve, so maybe I'll take 1/2 a star off for that.

Nestor S.

Yelp
We love this place ! Me and my wife who is a Peruvian chef by trade (selective with her native food) came across this on yelp and decided to try it out. We come from 30 minutes just to eat here. Every dish is well made, fresh , and pure authentic. Don't look any further, try it out for yourself

Rosalia M.

Yelp
Went for first and last time, ceviche extremely salty, chaufa con Pollo over cook chicken dry salty.

Elvis C.

Yelp
Excelente restaurant y con un sabor peruano indiscutible, un pedacito de Perú en Los Ángeles. recomiendo al 100

Erick L.

Yelp
Food: Delicious! Delicious! I got the lomo saltado. This was a really good lomo saltado. The meat was tender and juicy and the flavor of everything was just right. Restaurant: Clean! The restaurant has 5 tables and can fit about 18 clients. I went on a Friday around 5:00 pm and I was able to find a table. Parking: There are other restaurants and businesses at this plaza and it was busy. There weren't many parking spots when I got there but I was lucky to find one right away.

Btent J.

Yelp
Food: Potato Chips:- - Solid but salty. Aji Amarillo dip lacked flavor. 3.5/5 Lomo Saltado: - Tenderish steak with decent smoke flavor accompanied by undercooked veggies and fries. Bland. 2/5. Needed more soy sauce and aji amarillo. Trio: - Fish ceviche: Tasty but a bit lime-y and some chunks of fish were a little chewy. Yams were incredibly soft and melted in your mouth. 3/5 - Fried fish ceviche: Same as above but a bit tastier. 3.5/5 - Spicy ceviche: Good flavor but a bit too acidic as well. Not much spice. 3.5/5 Purple corn drink: - Very good. Perfect sweetness and hint of cinnamon. Small portion. 4/5 Service: There were no dine-in customers during our time here. There was one man who looked to be the Manager who was helpful and a waitress...who didn't speak any English and didn't understand my broken Spanish. She was very friendly but there was a language barrier. I tried very patiently to get to-go containers for my leftovers but she ended up taking the food to the back...Manager and Cook both approached separately to help. I asked nicely for 3 boxes for my leftovers. I waited almost 10 minutes only to receive about half of my leftovers boxed up...the other half mysteriously missing. 2/5 Tl;dr: Bad saltado, decent ceviche. Tasty Purple corn drink. Friendly but language barrier service. 2.7/5

Manuel V.

Yelp
Delicious food and reasonably priced. The service was great and the ambience was nice

Yosmar J.

Yelp
Today while driving around I stopped by to try their Lomo Salgado De Asada. The first thing that I noticed as picked up my order was the size of the Chicha Morada ( a very traditional Corn Drink), i thought that the size that they had given me was by mistake and what that of a child's cup. However, I come to find out that they only offer it that size. I was pretty shocked how small it was. Their Saltado wasn't the best Saltado I've had and I thought it was a bit too plain in comparrison to the ones I've had in the past. The fries were a bit too dry and lacked in seasoning in the meat. The major downfall for me was that they don't provide their typical Green Salsa at this restaurant. The one that I was given was so little and very different from the traditional one, but tasty. The staff was very very friendly and food came out pretty quickly.

Jean carlo M.

Yelp
The food was great but the service was not, waited 1 hour to get a table and almost 2 hours to get the food ... they where taking phone orders as a priority instead of customers at the restaurant, and the tip is already included in the bill . The leche de tigre was no good at all it wasn't fresh it taste disgusting .

Sylvia P.

Yelp
Ordered a soup today, and was helped by the owner I believe. He was Nice and took my order when I got there. Took about 15minutes.. the aguadito de pollo is really good and their sauce to. I also ordered a maracuya to drink and it was good as well. I'm editing this post because there was a piece of glass in my soup. Not a small piece a big piece at the end of my soup. (It comes in a plastic bowl)

Judy S.

Yelp
A hole in a wall place with local vibes. This is your typical mom and pop place. Obviously, food will take a while to come out, I mean it's peruvian food. Our food takes a while to make. It's not fast food, so don't expect it to come out so quickly. So far, hands down, I love this place. I come here all the time and I love the private atmosphere. The owner is amazing and staff as well. I hope in the near future for them to be able to sell alcohol drinks.

Jaime V.

Yelp
Probably the best Peruvian restaurant in Gardena and they have a lot. I like it better than Rocco and the Pollo Inca small little spot hole in the wall service is quick music is great always playing Grupo Cinco, which reminds you of being in Peru I always get Salado and ceviche, which is my go to, and you can tell her a good place by the ceviche highly recommend it.

Nore R.

Yelp
The service was not the best, they would not check in to offer refills on our drinks. I did see that other tables received bread on the table (not sure if they paid extra) but a little weird that every table but ours were even offered some. We ordered lomo saltado and it was a bit cold when we received it and they did not have the green sauce. First Peruvian place that I've been that does not have the green sauce.

Ian P.

Yelp
Coming in with my partner looking relatively young my experience may not be yours but geez the service was garbage we didn't get our table appetizer (fried thin chips) but single people that came after us did even though our food would take longer than there's since we came as a couple until I commented it to the waitress. The decor is nice just a wee bit cramped I literally had a young child run into my leg for example. The food was... a bit embarrassing considering I was bringing my partner here to show her my culture's food. The portions are absolutely miserable I ordered a bistec a lo pobre and I got what 4 quarter sized plantain pieces, ~18 fries, 4 tablespoons of rice and a large steak? Who's that supposed to fill up???. On top of that the egg not the fries were salted I don't know who told them French fries didn't need salt but cmon man it was nearly $20. The ceviche was pretty bland honestly but it wasn't the worst the portioning for it was pretty healthy at least. Oh and a can of inka Cola the one that's at the liquor store for $1.15 is $5 here bring your own. And the emoliente just tasted like thickened lime tea. If the service was at least good if they weren't so negligent I might've had a lot better experience even if the food wasn't all that good but it sours your meal before you even bite in when you see people who walk in 20 minutes later being treated so much better when you haven't even done anything. VERDICT: skip this spot I might come back to try the anticuchos that are only served on weekends but it was really disappointing and I feel robbed of my $50

Alicia B.

Yelp
The food is good. They were a little heavy handed with salt on their chicken, but the chicken and rice still tasted good. The staff is friendly.

Melany P.

Yelp
Being a Peruvian myself, I'm a hard critic when it comes to trying Peruvian food. However, I came across this spot on Yelp and decided to give it a try, BEST decision ever! To begin: It was a Saturday afternoon so there was a wait but the waiter was extremely nice and offered to move the waiting bench under a tree for shade so we wouldn't be under the hot LA sun. Talk about cordial! Once we were seated, we were surrounded by good traditional music, a tasteful interior design, and the lingering aromas of delicious Peruvian food. Mind you, I had surgery a week ago so I couldn't smell much but I was definitely able to capture the smell of the food from the other tables. We were off to a great start! In regards to our meal, we ordered their signature "ceviche Peru Chicha," causa limeña, and anticuchos. Everything was incredibly well balanced and I was very impressed. The plate that captivated me the MOST however, was the ceviche "Peru chicha." I've never tried ceviche prepared like this before but its a twist I highly recommend. For drinks we had a glass of maracuya and a bottle of emoliente. I normally don't vouch for emoliente but this one is a must. Apart from our delectable meal, our waiters (2) were also incredibly welcoming and very patient. As previously mentioned I recently had surgery so I did take a little longer to eat (we watched two tables that came after us, leave before us! lol). Nonetheless, the waiters never even tried to rush us out and were very attentive to our every need. Overall, if I could give this place six stars, I would! Unfortunately I live in the Bay Area which means I'll be mesmerizing over their ceviche until I can go back once I'm in SoCal again. But for anyone feeling a little skeptical about going, don't. It's worth it!

Monique M.

Yelp
Great place! I had wanted to get dinner before my nail appt and this was the closest option I was craving. I didn't know what to choose for drinks and he brought out 3 options for me to try which was awesome. I went with the passion fruit bc it was sour and tarte which I love. Also didn't know what to choose to eat so I asked what he recommended and chose this steak fettuccine dish which was amazing. He even brought out some complimentary chips and a lime water. I wish I could've stayed longer. He also gave cute little candies at the end. Overall great experience and I'm glad I came here.

Kiera S.

Yelp
Ordered causa and it was delicious! Staff was friendly as well! Would you back for sure

Eve J.

Yelp
Just tried this place out today. Portions are very small. Food is bland and under seasoned. Way overpriced. Would not recommend this place at all. That's my honest opinion.

Jessika J.

Yelp
If you are looking for a place to enjoy 100% Peruvian Food "Peru Chicha" is the place to go! There food is very delicious, service is very good too I totally recommend. My favorite plate is Anticuchos, they are the best Anticuchos from LA! Don't forget to try them!!

Frank R.

Yelp
A hidden gem! The food is high quality and the service spectacular. Ruben is funny and attentive to customers needs. The place is festive and pristine. My family and I went for lunch and returned for dinner while visiting L.A. Highly recommended.

Shawn D.

Yelp
It's hard to find decent Peruvian food in LA, even more so with actual ChiFa (Peruvian Chinese style), so when I found this place on Yelp I was anxious to try it. Now after being there, it leaves a lot less to be desired. THE GOOD: Food is actually decent, we ordered ChiFa fried rice along with fried cheviche, and both were good. I liked the seafood rice it savory and filling, while the fried cheviche has this unique seafood ball that's panko coated and pretty good with the right sauce. THE BAD: Oh, dear. Service issues galore. It's a small place but even so it took a while for the server to even get to us, as they were totally focusing on two other tables and we had to wait a while to even just get our order in. Then the waiting came, a lot more waiting like 45-50 minutes of waiting for the food to show up. Does fried rice really take that long? Even with only two tables ahead of us? It's clear they're very understaffed but this was entirely too much of a wait for the food. A very small bowl of fried potato chips was what had to tide us over for the waiting period, a bowl that was not replenished. THE UGLY. I guess masks are optional here in Gardena, because the staff wasn't wearing them. Nothing like being nervous about invisible pathogens while waiting an extended period of time for your meal in a closed-in space to brighten up your lunch. I wanted to like this place, I really did. They have good cuisine and with much better management they could make this work. I won't fault the location (the edge of Gardena, along the industrial areas) as those can be good draws for lunch, but man no way you can do that on weekdays with an over-one-hour service period.

Eric F.

Yelp
This place is fun and tasty! The Peruvian music is pumping, the look of the restaurant is funky, fun and very Chicha and the food is great! We had Anticuchos, Calamar Frito, Tres Ceviches, Causa de Pollo, and Chicha... it was all great! For a minute I felt like I was eating at a new restaurant in Miraflores. If you love Peruvian food or have never tried it, this is a great place to get your eat on!!

Aitak C.

Yelp
For the prices they charge they need to upgrade the meat. Lomo Saltado had huge hard to chew pieces . Green spaghetti w steak had a thick cheap piece of meat not even my dog like it . They need to skip the crunchy stuff on top on fried rice and causa because is not edible when you take it to go,plus is hard to get it off . May try their ceviche if I'm in the neighborhood.

Jose A.

Yelp
Short review: come here, you will find excellent dishes, tasty as it should be the Peruvian cuisine and really good high quality fresh supplies. Everything hand made and good care. The meat here is awesome so they have the best Lomo Saltado I've ever tried outside Perú. Like being in home. Don't make a concept of Peruvian food before coming here. They take good care of every detail and you will find typical plates. For sure this will be my place every time I will be in LA.

Pancho V.

Yelp
Location, Location, Location... Peru Chicha is really located in what I'd call a bad location, in a large strip plaza that sits back off the street, plenty of parking but you'll easily drive right on by this place without even noticing it was there. Once you enter this tiny "Restaurant" well not even sure if you can call it a restaurant with, I believe 3 small tables, service was very friendly seems like they just recently opened. To start off they bring you what I'll call Peruvian Corn Nuts https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/peru-chicha-peruvian-restaurant-gardena?select=tY9OCTLroJtp-g5vqTgxDg&userid=mXl8GMozjLoraG7PyFHWkg yeah, I don't know the actual name, but they are similar to a corn nut but not as hard, light crunch, very tasty. Lomo Saltado ($13.75) https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/peru-chicha-peruvian-restaurant-gardena?select=mJAzL0gv_MfsbZ5bzgcqzg&userid=mXl8GMozjLoraG7PyFHWkg Beef sauteed with onions, tomatoes and house cut French Fries, served with rice. While I'm not an expert on Peruvian food I can say I've had much better elsewhere.... The beef was good but the dish was dry, the potatoes "French Fries" seemed like they were made ahead of time and had been sitting around all day they were very dry https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/peru-chicha-peruvian-restaurant-gardena?select=yyGO3KyWL8G2RUpedbAU3g&userid=mXl8GMozjLoraG7PyFHWkg also the dish should have a certain amount of juices and as you can see from the plate this had none. They don't have the traditional Green Aji, they did have the red chili which they called aji, I did like that it had a nice kick.

Yelp
Okay this place. Let me start by explaining that this restaurant is in a little clean strip mall on western ave. Almost missed it because the sign is hard to read when traveling on that street. Walked in and noticed it is a clean, simple quaint place that is heavily decorated in Peruvian sayings and pictures, which I liked. The waiter was a very nice young man who told me to sit wherever I'd like and I realized that most of the restaurant is facing the sun at 4 pm. I chose a table but it got hot very quickly because they don't have tint on the windows which is basically the whole entrance. Not good, it makes for a uncomfortable eating environment especially when the summer comes. The menu is very complicated with Peruvian choices and when it comes to menu if there are so many choices then I feel that the restaurant doesn't specialize in specific dishes which is not a good sign. I ordered the chicha morada and it tasted good but felt it was expensive for one cup. They had the Peruvian canchas on the table which were alright tasting. Next the entrees, I ordered the lomo saltado and salchipapas. The lomo came and the meat was extremely tender (they said is filet mignon) but the food lacked flavor and salt unfortunately. I'm Peruvian so I know what Peruvian food should taste like. The salchipapas was okay tasting and worth it for the price. I will say I did enjoy the waiter he was a very nice man and even gave me a cup of some drink that they make that is suppose to be healthy but I don't remember the name of it. The people who did come in seemed like Peruvian people but besides that I didn't see local people in there. I hate to have to give them 3 stars but I think maybe if they trimmed down the menu and specialized on certain popular dishes they might just have a good restaurant.

Yelp
Great find Small restaurant with seating for just 20. Service could not have been better. We loved our meals (Chifa pollo and Lomo saltado). The fettuccine was tender and my chicken delicious. I couldn't decide on a drink choice so our waiter brought a sampling of everything. They were all good but I chose the signature drink (Chicha). I

Yelp
For starters, the ambiance is everything! Love all the canvas and music. The food was top notch. I ordered the Anticuchos and they were delicious. Very well seasoned, which made them very juicy and soft! The Jalea Mixta was very food too & the portion was perfect for 2; all ingredients were present. We also ordered the Tallarin Verde con Bistec and it was also very delicious. For drinks we ordered Chicha and it really tasted like the Chicha from Peru. Highly recommend for real authentic Peruvian food. Lastly, the service was amazing. P.S. they also have cancha and aji on the table for snacking. Also loved that they have a great variety of foods (a lot of them that you rarely see at other restaurants, so big plus!)

Yelp
I went back to this place again. The food is amazing but the server I had was horrible!!! I went in (nobody was there) he wouldn't allow me to sit in a table. He told us to wait outside, while we were waiting outside he locked the door. Then he said oh because I was waiting for a bigger party and I needed to clean. (He could've said that before saying I wasn't allow to sit without an explanation) We were there for 3 hours the "big" party never arrived. The food is good. But the server and actually seems like the owner bc I seen his picture. Could do better. Or at least he should educate himself on how to treat his customers!
