"The all-teal interior lends Peru Chicken the look of a fast-food joint, but diners should make no mistake; this is a restaurant where food is prepared with care. The casual restaurant is known for its lomo saltado, served with white rice and french fries, but one would be remiss to skip out on the namesake item. The polla a la brasa comes by the quarter, the half, or the whole, served with a choice of rice and beans or fries and salad." - Krista Diamond

Delicious. Stopped in to eat some Peruvian cuisine and this place is delicious. It’s a small mom and pop shop and they speak to you in Spanish so you know it’s authentic. The ceviche was yummy. I can’t believe I found some Lucuma ice cream which is so hard to find. My only critique is I wished they used more eco friendly products like paper straws.

Google
Previous orders were fabulous.this order not so much. The rotisserie chicken was dry and not as flavorful as previous. We ordered French fries (making sure we said "French fries", so it didn't sound like rice on the phone)we were giving rice on both chicken orders. I guess we will try another location or maybe a different Peruvian restaurant 😕

Been here a few times, and they never disappoint. Always excellent food and service! They take care of you and you can taste the care/love they put into their food. Frankly, this place needs to be busier than it already is. My family and I will always be regulars here!

The onions on the side of the tamales are EVERYTHING! In a shopping mall that's half way empty, but their food is delicious. The long grain rice use is visually interesting, as well as tasty! It was quite interesting to have a meal that has French fries cooked in with the sauce, but it wasn't half bad. I mixed the remainder of my onions with my rice. Truly delicious!

Google
The service was rushed. I wanted to order desserts, and also tamales to go, but la salchipapa was picked up before it was gone, and the check was at the table before I could ask for it. Their best dish was the anticuchos.

Small local spot we visited while we were in Vegas. Very fast service. Great tasty food.

If you have read any of my other reviews you will know that we are regular connoisseurs of Peruvian food (my husband is from Lima). The only reason this restaurant was able to garner a three star review was because their green sauce and papa sauce raised them from a two to a three. They do a great job on their sauces! We ordered Lomo Saltado, Tallarin Saltado, green spaghetti and half chicken. The Saltado meals lacked any kind of “Chiz Chaz” (If you know, you know) and the Cumin spice overpowered the pollo a la brasa. We would not come back - especially since it’s a few miles from the freeway exit (and Sahara has a lot of traffic). thumbs down for us. I will say that if you are seriously craving Peruvian, this will satisfy you - especially if there aren’t any other options in Vegas (we live in L.A.) - in that case it will do the trick.

Yelp
Came back to this spot again while I was in the area, and it still holds up as one of my favorites. The staff is super friendly and always on top of things, making sure you're taken care of throughout the meal. The food is just as great as I remembered--fresh, flavorful, and packed with that perfect balance of flavors. Seriously, the sauces here are next level. Every dish just gets better with a little dip of whatever sauce they've got going. And the prices? Totally fair for the portion sizes and the quality you're getting. If you're craving good Peruvian food, definitely check this place out. It's a winner

Yelp
Delicious and very pleasant service in a very cozy comfy small setting. All over before you it's really delicious including the beef chicken pasta and sides

Yelp
Amazingly tender & juicy chicken with the savory skin that's so delicious, you'd forget you're in Vegas, and not Peru! It transfers me back home in SF where they also had deliciously tender and juicy chicken. The parked plantains were soft and sweet like caramel also. This is a mom & pop shop with a fantastic authentic twist and take out option. The owner seems to be there to help out which makes it feel like I should support the local businesses even more. Looking forward to coming back!

Yelp
Stopped by for a quick lunch and was happy I did. I am not new to the Peruvian food game and this place proved to be good. The space is unassuming. Adequately clean with ample seating. Definitely see myself being more of a take out patron and that's not a bad thing at all! Gravitated to their Lomo Saltado variety and liked it. A little heavy on the saucy juices but otherwise a pleasant choice. Loved their yellow & green sauces. I can admittedly drink those by the gallon. Don't forget those two with your meal!! You'll regret it. Definitely want to come back to try more dishes from here. I can't help but eyeball the dessert. Recommended for sure!

Jon L.

Yelp
Really delicious healthy and reasonably priced fast food chicken. I still prefer pollo loco but this is a good switch up. And the cilantro based soup is so delicious. Definitely a good cheap healthy meal that will not let you down

Yelp
Wow! Their ceviche is AMAZING!! Came to this restaurant after trying two other than were closed (Thanksgiving day) . I'm sooo glad they were open! To be honest I didn't have high expectations for their ceviche (only coz I thought their focus was more on chicken) but I was wrong. Their ceviche was so good that I went back the next day to eat it again! I also ordered sopa a la minuta. I was a little disappointed as it was not sopa a la minuta that I'm used to- one with evaporated milk & egg. I thought I got a wrong order but I never asked. Anyway, still leaving 5 stars because of their ceviche!!

Denisse M.

Yelp
The first serve that helped us seems like she didn't want to be there . The food quality and nice portions 4 out of 5 . Service 3 out of 5 for the start of the experience. 4 out of 5 for the seating and noise of the dinning area it was pleasant atmosphere.

Jim B.

Yelp
Small restaurant almost diner in style. The food was cooked well and really have no complaint other than no exciting flavors. The green sauce/salsa is quite tasty the yellow ok. Wait staff were very pleasant. My friends rice and bean side was kinda forgettable. Try it you may enjoy it. I'm not Peruvian and I know it's not Mexican so I have mixed feelings. May try it again.

Jessica A.

Yelp
Great little hidden gem! Delicious food and big quantities served! We are from California but also have a home in Vegas and had no clue this restaurant was near us as my partner is Peruvian and loves to find new authentic places! Recommend 100%!

Froy D.

Yelp
I ordered the half chicken that comes with rice and beans. The chicken was moist and tender, but lacked salt or seasoning. It was between average and above average for the taste. As a Filipino I know what a very well cooked rice is and they passed the test. The beans were okay. The wait staff were very polite and friendly. The place is small, but clean and organized. Lastly the menu prices were reasonable for the size of the portion you get.

Victor R.

Yelp
Saw this place on yelp and being I had to come try it for myself and now I'll let you know how it is

Diana L.

Yelp
Cozy and small family-owned restaurant. Plenty of parking. Restaurant has inside dining and take-out. Service is prompt and employees are attentive. Food offerings are super delicious! Very flavorful! We ordered chicken and pork dishes. Meats were all moist and tasty! The pesto pasta is really good! This pesto sauce is different from the Italian pesto sauce, which is made with pine nuts. The Peruvian pesto sauce is not made with pine nuts. Then there are the plantains and the fried donut pastries. All so delicious! Highly recommend!

Jarred P.

Yelp
I really enjoy this place the food is quite delicious and reasonably priced. The lomo saltado is my personal favorite. Their alfajores make for a really great desert if you're craving something sweet after your meal. If you've never tried it I highly recommend it.

Anne E.

Yelp
Came here tonight 20 mins before closing. Put in an order for pick up. A simple lomo saltado. There was some type of mix up with the orders, so I had to wait even longer. (25 mins). I even heard them arguing in the back about it. Also the woman who worked there needed to keep requesting the chef for my side of rice. Then, I returned all the way back to the hotel only to find no utensils. Flavor/Food 6/10; meat and rice tasted old, sauce/fries were good. Chicha Morada was tasty and just right! Service 4/10; the woman did apologize for the wait, but still disappointing that they couldn't get the order right, plus the utensils. Mediocre experience on this one

Sergio D.

Yelp
Was excited to try something new and compare to what I am familiar with. I ordered half chicken and arroz chaufa. The chicken was 8/10, well seasoned with good flavor and cooked to perfection. The Fries was hot and well done 10/10. The side salad very simple and watery 5/10. For the arroz chaufa sadly was disappointed, it was sticky and not what I am used too for being arroz chaufa 6/10. Service was ok considering there was only one staff in the front of house. The ambiance was simple, clean, and casual. Little over priced for what its worth.

Jessica B.

Yelp
I'm so lucky to live close to this place. I've been coming here for two or three years now at the Sahara location. Their ceviche is to die for, I order this every time along with the passion fruit juice. Their tamales are delicious to, they also have a green sauce that goes on top. Their chicken, rice, and beans with plantains are always good. The service here is so friendly and they feel like family. The ambience of this place feels authentic and parking is right out front and no problem finding parking. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes Peruvian food or anyone in general since their food is pretty delicious .

Vernalisa M.

Yelp
Totally over this poorly run restaurant chicken had no taste pieces of it were small as a pigeon no lye And to add insult to injury chicken was so undercooked still purple I called waitress over tell he chicken uncooked She looks at my plate and says or it's ok not bleeding not bleeding omg I sent it back and she still tryed to charge me for it . I been going to this restaurant on off many years use to be quality and good now I would not serve it to my dog . Service was awful you had to call constantly for them to come to table . Asking for a star rating u kidding .

Emma C.

Yelp
This place has amazing Peruvian food, I just wished they brought back their green and yellow aji back at the tables as a full bottle versus the lil tiny cup of it they bring. They don't have the best service and they almost seemed bothered when you ask for extra aji which is a sauce you need with Peruvian food. However, they do have amazing lomo Saltado and ceviche.

Liz S.

Yelp
This place was really good! I had never tried Peruvian food. I got a half chicken with rice and fried plantains. It comes with some kind of green sauce that was amazing.

Marie M.

Yelp
Today is my 4th fine eating at this restaurant. I'm vegan, but the other members of my party of 4 raves about their chicken and seafood. we had vege fried rice. ,chicken fried rice, soups. Every meal was the phenomenal - great flavors, just amazing. Manager Jose Manuel Rivas and staff are amazing. second to none. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Tina C.

Yelp
A great value for delicious Peruvian food. This was more like fast food. The 1/2 Rotisserie chicken plate was $14 and comes with fries and an ice berg lettuce salad and basic dressing. The seabass ceviche was delicious and came with a chunk of yam, roasted corn and peruvian corn. Who is going to McDonald's or Burger King instead of this place??

Noah C.

Yelp
good food and drinks, very little steak on the plate, not proportional to the amount of rice and fries they gave to us, but the steak was very good. she does not know how to multitask. Went to pay and they clearly saw me but ignored me like i'm invisible man like it took a couple tries for the pen to work and it should be working it's unprofessional, rice was bland, fries unsalted. I wanted flan but was too expensive

Joel C.

Yelp
The service here was quick and easy. It's a small place but has decent seating. The girl at the front was very friendly and took me to my seat where she gave me a menu and some utensils. She was very nice and helpful. I ordered the 1/4 chicken with fries and beans. They accidentally included the salad instead of the beans but they apologized and quickly corrected the order. The chicken was delicious with lots of flavor. The fries were okay and so was the salad but the beans were really good. Aside from the chicken the green sauce they provided with the meal was the superstar. I would definitely go again.

Jay F.

Yelp
I have tried all the Peruvian restaurants in town and in my opinion, this is the best one in town. I come here at least once or twice a month and love the tacu tacu con lomo saltado. The fish ceviche is great also.

Nando D.

Yelp
Didn't know it's been that long my last review I've been to this restaurant many many many many times throughout the years One thing in special to be highlighted... The food is just as wonderful as it was years ago! You can taste the love in the food, it's crafted to drive your taste buds nuts! Delicious food, I'll talk about my very very favorite dishes Even tho everything they make it here is good and delicious. My very favorite Ceviche de pescado (fish ceviche) it's a MUST YRY! As well the Anticuchos(beef heart) leaves you wanting more it's that amazing really! The on the entrée side of things My 3 favorite Green pasta with bistek (tallarin with steak) Lomo Saltado (Peru's most famous dish perhaps) Tacu y Tacu with bistek delicious! Try it out you won't be disappointed!

Julia W.

Yelp
Food is absolutely delicious! Great service, clean environment. Great experience definitely coming back.

Erick R.

Yelp
It was good but it's expensive and the hours it's open aren't the best and I only get the beef and green pasta dish and it's very heavy with patatos

Dianira A.

Yelp
It's definitely worth to try. My husband is Peruvian and he loved it not one compliant about it. The service was average, nothing over the top. Would go again, the food was yummy

Lupe A.

Yelp
The food excelente pero la atención horrible no se ponen de acuerdo , esperando para la orden y luego esperar para pagar ni vinieron para ver si todo estaba bien una caja para los picarones y plátano frito así es? El lomo saltado excelente lo demás no

Daryl H.

Yelp
Peru Chicken is located Sahara and Valley View. I ordered the Lomo Saltado. Service is always friendly, and food comes out fast.

Lorena P.

Yelp
Chicken was tasty and moist, lomo saltado was perfect ... hands down the best was the fish ceviche ... we have tried Peruvian ceviche at different restaurants, this has been the best... leche de Tigre was exquisite... highly recommend the food here.. Little restaurant in shopping strip..

Jay R.

Yelp
Chicken was very salty in certain parts but the food is very hot and it tastes very fresh

Mee L.

Yelp
First time trying Peruvian restaurant and soooo glad we did! Server helped us order, portions were huge, and everything we tried was GREAT! We got the: Lomolito al jugo- salty but flavorful Rotisserie Chicken- yumms! And Bisteck Encebollado- tasted similar to the lomolito al jugo... Wish we knew lol but it came wit 2 sides- we chose plantains and beans to compliment all of that protein lol BUT that green peru sauce (not pictured but ask for it!!) though!! We dipped everything in that lol Will def come back!

Abby F.

Yelp
This hole in the wall was increible! Taco shop vibes with amazing Peruvian food. Everything was a 10 for me. Chicken was perfect, flavorful, the rice was a perfect balance, the beans were out of the park- I would go back just for those alone- and ceviche was amazing. Way more flavorful than it looks in the picture i promise.

Nan F.

Yelp
Chicken Chaufa with green sauce is so good! This will be a regular lunch stop! It was counter service and they bring your order to the table.

Van L.

Yelp
What a hidden gem off the Las Vegas strip. I love Peruvian cuisine n was excited when I found this place on yelp. The service was welcoming and food came out quick. The Lomo saltado and linguine chicken were well seasoned and delicious. I love the sauce on both dishes as they were both the same..I'm a saucey kind of gal lol. Do NOT forget to order the passionfruit drink..OMG so refreshing n taste like fresh passionfruit.

Jin N.

Yelp
I love Peruvian food but this place was mehhhh for me. The interior has a casual vibe and the price range is what you'd charge at a dine-in, nicer restaurant. Hence, I was surprised when I sat down, as it is basically equivalent to some hole in the wall taco places with limited seating. They didn't have cilantro rice available as a side. The chicken was well seasoned and delicious. Yucca fries were also good. Service was mediocre. I'd hit up another place before going back here .

Loretta C.

Yelp
They have the most delicious whole chicken! Prices are very fair. I highly recommend giving them a try. Very authentic food! The rice was dry for our taste. Maybe we caught them on a bad day. I'd try them again.

Alma G.

Yelp
Great food especially their roasted chicken and rice with a chicha drink. Only go here for takeout since service isn't the best.

Jennalee B.

Yelp
Wow the chicken here is fantastic! Juicy and well seasoned, I miss it already! Plus you get so much for the price! Two people could definitely split the half chicken and be totally full!

Sakol M.

Yelp
After finishing my work errands, I stopped by Peru Chicken for late lunch. I thought it would be worth trying since the only cars in the empty parking lot were in front of this store. Ordered the Chaufa De Pollo for takeout. It sounded exotic. There's nothing exotic about it. it's a chicken fried rice. I make better chicken fried rice at home.

Enaa B.

Yelp
Food was great: everything was fresh and hot. I will definitely be ordering here again. I believe I paid about 12 dollars for this meal

Quintina B.

Yelp
The food is delicious!! Chicken has great flavor and is juicy. You get a big portion for what you pay for! The staff is very friendly but the restaurant is small so don't come with a big group.

Sofia And David R.

Yelp
Excellent and authentic Peruvian cuisine. Friendly environment and good portion sizes.

Jim J.

Yelp
You know when a place it's legit? When you see old Peruvian dudes eating alone and seeing nothing left on the plate. Kind of like a good Pho restaurant when people be eating alone because the food is soo good. Ha! That being said this place is a no frills straight up delicious authentic Peruvian food. Reasonably priced. No frills working class establishment. No hipster stuff here. It's all about the food. The awesome hard working friendly staff and some beautiful waitresses too. Anyway everything on the menu is delicious, and oddly enough the Peruvian beans, verde and Amarillo salsas stood out with their fatty savory goodness. I just wish it was just a little bit more spicy. But you can add hot sauce separately. So tip them well, and be sure to get there early because lunch was packed on a weekend so plan ahead.

Aryo F.

Yelp
Definitely 5 star is not enough! It's a great restaurant with delicious food. The location is not good however you should go inside before you decide! Very clean and nice interior. Staff are very kind and helpful.

Leo W.

Yelp
Food is DELICIOUS! Came here for lunch and we got a whole chicken, ceviche, and some maduros. Everything was prepared to perfection and were bursting with flavor. It's a very casual ambience, but the service was quick! Will definitely be coming back

Andrew D.

Yelp
Chicken was amazing the sauces were great. Plantains were great, I love Peruvian food and glad to find one close by (3 hrs) to eat at. New spot to add to my vegas food rotation. The staff were very friendly as well.

Asjhia M.

Yelp
The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the Tallarin Saltado con carne, Inka Cola, and a side of white rice. Very flavorful and filling. The service wasn't the best but now that I think about it maybe the young woman at the counter didn't understand me very well like the one sweeping did. The woman who was sweeping did stop to translate for a us so that made it a bit easier! Probably should just swap out associate's tasks based on who can assist customers better with a language barrier.
