Pesantissimo

Nice restaurant with very good service. The food had a home made feel to it, which I enjoyed. They didn’t have spaces outside when we came and we were sat inside the restaurant. But as soon as a table opened up outside, they were kind enough to move us there. Overall, really good and happy with everything! 👌🏼🤗

Had an al fresco dinner at Pesantissimo last summer. Good food and decent service.

Been here quite a few times over the past two years, will continue to always bring my friends if we are in the primrose area :)) Visited today and yesterday and the staff always seem happy and nice! All of the pizzas are amazing hands down my favourite place to go for food or just desserts with a glass of wine after a walking around london 🤍

The most wonderful Italian restaurant with the best atmosphere on the high street. The service is top quality with a special mention to Simona. The cheese sticks are delicious. Would highly recommend 10/10!

It’s a nice spot if the suns out to stop off for a bite to eat and a drink. I would say it is good value but it’s basic and the service is off par. However it is reasonable for what it is but I think it could be better. Starter we had the GAMBERONI alla MUGNAIA, pan fried prawns in rich butter, garlic and lemon with chili (very spicy) with additional option: toasted ciabatta. When they say very spicy they mean it, a quick run to the local shop was needed to get some milk! Mains we had TAGLIATELLE CARBONARA which wasn’t as delicious as I had hoped for this dish which is normally such a treat and it’s not fresh pasta either. We also had BRANZINO pan-fried sea bass fillet topped with prawns, cherry tomato lemon sauce served + tender stem broccoli. The fish was nice but odd to have it in a batter for pan fried, but the batter was light. The prawns and sauce was exactly the same as the starter dish we ordered. Our mains were brought out to us halfway through eating our starter which wasn’t nice and made it all feel rushed and go cold but we were sat outside as it was a sunny day.

The service at Pesantissimo Primrose Hill is excellent! The staff is polite and attentive, going above and beyond to provide a wonderful eating experience. I highly recommend them, the food is amazing and the ambience is superb.🤩

Good was far from authentic Italian dishes. We ordered pan-fried, I believe it was seabass, and we received an undercooked battered fish fillet, which was not what it was described to be. So that was disappointing, receiving a dish that had obviously been wrongly written on the menu. The pasta dishes were decent. Waiters seemed untrained and not super competent at taking orders. On a positive note, they have nice outdoor seating, which is great on a sunny summer day.

Absolutely divine! The portions are large and the prices are just right. I’ve been many times and each dish is consistently great. The service is warm and they are sparing with the Parmesan. Definitely try and get a table outside as they have a great location on Primrose Hill high street with covered tables.
