The Best Seafood Restaurants in Phoenix, Arizona | Eater Phoenix

"Mixing seafood with Mediterranean flavors, Pescada comes from the same team behind Vic & Ola’s and Alma. The elegant atmosphere, complete with chandelier lighting and paintings of Mediterranean seascapes, is a perfect match for the upscale offerings. The strong cocktails and small plates make Pescada a consistent contender for happy hour, where patrons pack the cozy, brightly tiled bar. Options run the gamut, but the homemade pasta dishes are worth paying attention to, including the Argentine Red Shrimp with squid rigatoni. The Portuguese stew with saffron rice is a flavorful main; to get things started, try the smoked salmon-stuffed eggs." - Asonta Benetti

Visited Pescada for our wedding anniversary. Nice decor and background music. Exceptional service from staff. Our server followed up with us regularly to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. The only issue we had was that my wife's paella was very salty. This was quickly resolved and the manager brought her a new plate that was excellent. Customer service at this establishment is top notch. It is a bit of a drive for us but we would definitely return.

This is a really great place to go grab something to eat. We just dropped in for drinks and some snacks and sat at the bar outside. Even though it was pretty cool outside they had quite a few heaters on the patio so there was really not a problem we were quite comfortable. The bartender was extremely helpful. He made us up some wonderful drinks. Also helped with us placing our order as we had some allergy issues. One of the dishes came out and had not been adjusted for the allergies that we asked for but they immediately jumped on it and went back and created another dish that was proper. Everything we ate there was really delicious. I highly recommend going here for your full dinner or as we did just drop in for drinks and snacks

We had a great experience here during AZ Restaurant Week. Loved the ambience on the patio, from the curtains to the place settings. Disappointed that the octopus entree was not available, but the scallops with crab ravioli was a delicious replacement. Suckling pig, asparagus salad, and gazpacho were also good, as were the deserts. Service was very good; only a brief lag between courses, as they were quite busy on a Saturday night. Hope to go back soon!

Wow. With Every bite of food, there was a party in my mouth!! We came during AZ restaurant week. For drinks, had the Admiral and the Blood Orange Fizz. Both drinks were well balanced. The focaccia bread was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with the sauces complimenting the flavors so well. The asparagus salad was so fresh and the pickled strawberries were a nice touch. The gazpacho was so flavorful and refreshing with the mint and cucumber. For main entrees we had the scallops with crab meat rivoli and the lamb chops. The lamb was cooked to perfection and was delicious. For dessert we had the pistachio panacotta and the olive oil cake. The panacptta was good but I preferred the olive oil cake. It was so moist and delicious. The atmosphere was very elegant and nice. The server was nice but he seemed busy with the amount of tables he had. The manager was also helping out. Wonderful place and I’d definitely be returning

Google
A fine dining menu with limited options. New eatery in town with a very motivated and happy staff. The cocktails are unique. The food is well conceived. The entrees were large. The grilled octopus we had was excellent. But the olive cake as dessert takes the cake ( pun intended ). The cake texture was like a well made home Cake and the Taste was excellent. A good choice for a celebration by twosome. Seema like they are still trying to get the word out and some servers are undergoing training. A bit pricey. Meal for two with drinks and dessert hit $200 without tips. Thanks. Enjoy.

Google
DC Ranch secret - had an amazing dining experience. What a beautiful place, very uniquely designed, quaint yet elegant. Extremely inviting as soon as you enter. Highly skilled staff and the food was above perfection in every way imaginable ! Had several signature cocktails that were all delicious… too many favorites to list. The staff’s descriptions of the plating was also superb. Fine dining and so much more!

Google
First time to Pescada for an anniversary dinner! Did not disappoint! I hardly ever give 5 star to anyone as I’m a foodie and take the entire experience into my ratings. Make sure to order the fried eggplant caprese! Extraordinary! A cocktail must is the EVOO washed Belvedere martini! You will def need reservations-the patio is great if nice out. Tip-the patio faces south but does get some west sun so dine out there after sun goes down if it’s a hotter PHX eve. They do have heaters for those cooler nites. Inside is lovely and intimate. Thanks to all staff (and Tony our serve) for a perfect anniversary evening!

From the moment I stepped in, it felt like Poseidon himself had curated the menu. The ambiance was a perfect blend of sleek and sea-chic soft lighting, subtle ocean vibes, and a server so knowledgeable I’m convinced he was raised by dolphins. I started with the tuna tartare, which practically melted out of respect for my taste buds. Then the sea bass arrived crispy skin, flaky center, and plated like a work of modern art. Every bite was a well-rehearsed symphony of flavor. Even the lemon on my plate seemed to be there on purpose. Honestly, if this place were a religion, I’d be a devout follower

Yelp
What a wonderful setting and picturesque restaurant. Exceptional staff, Dan our server went above and beyond with our special ingredient requests and also with the couple next to us. Very attentive. Food was wonderful, everything we ordered was perfect. Pescada is set in the Market area off Pima, the whole complex is unique to Scottsdale/Phoenix and a beautiful setting at night all full of lights. Many restaurants and bars, stores too. Pescada has a huge outdoor patio open to the bar area with heaters as well as a beautifully decorated interior. Most of the food served is seafood but a few meat dishes are available like lamb and ribeye.

Yelp
We went for a date night! What a great romantic spot. Nice Mediterranean style menu with lots of seafood. We shared the mussels and oysters, then had the Spanish charred octopus and the sea bass. We also had fun cocktails. Loved their actual dishes and plates. Super excited to check it out after the expansion is done this fall! Can't wait for the new oyster bar and more patio space. It looks like they will be updating their menu and their tapas menu as well. Aperitivo hour here we come!

Yelp
We actually came here on two consecutive nights. The first was Thursday and we sat at the bar on the patio and were served by the super friendly bartender Jordan, then Friday night with friends. The cocktails that are on the happy hour menu are not very good. They are gin-based drinks using tonic waters that are so aromatic and floral that you can't finish one. Luckily Jordan saved the day and made me a much more well-balanced and less floral tasting drink. We enjoyed the different take on bacon wrapped dates these were almond and Cambozola cheese stuffed sitting on orange marmalade. The mini grilled cheese were not browned they just seemed like hard pieces of a narrow baguette with more cheese in them. They were tasty although too greasy. The "salmon" deviled eggs really didn't taste like salmon, yet they were light and still flavorful. There were some large salmon roe eggs on the top and maybe that's what they meant by salmon. The house made squid ink pasta with shrimp was very flavorful although overpriced for just a few shrimp in a small bowl. The octopus was seriously underwhelming. One single grilled tentacle on a bitter, unbalanced green sauce with 3 tablespoons of a diced potato, onion and olive mixture. It didn't eat well together and we don't recommend it. The crabcake with shaved fennel was good however we've had crabcakes with less of a homogenous texture. It seemed like the crab had been really over mixed and it didn't look like lump crab. The flavor was good although the shaved fennel was a little boring not having been dressed with anything. The summer cappeletti with mini pattypan squash and sautéed mushrooms was light with good flavor. The halibut was watery, somewhat mushy and lacking flavor and was not up to par for a restaurant that has fish in its name! The steak tartare was not a good choice. My bad for ordering that! The egg yolk was too large for the amount of meat and the texture of the beef was disappointing - there was some connective tissue and really chewy pieces. It needed cornichons and more flavor in the meat itself. The crunchy pieces of bread served with it were very tasty. The ciabatta was too oily however the salt on the top was tasty, and the whipped crab was a light change of pace to butter. The hazelnut gelato was perfect in flavor and texture - not too soft. The chocolate mousse, was sinfully smooth and light. To match the price and upscale ambiance the savory food needs to be better. Based on only getting two of the sweet dishes the dessert offerings seem solid... Will we return? Not sure based on hearing that they are closing for four months to redo the interior space and make it much larger. Hopefully they keep the same ambiance and the savory food gets better.

Yelp
My husband found this spot randomly when we were discussing where we would love to have our first anniversary dinner. We checked the menu and saw a lot we would love to eat and also saw that they had their happy hour even on Saturday until 6pm and they had their Frito misto along with drinks on there! With the pricing a little on the higher side, we thought even enjoying one hour of happy hour would be good. I did only give this 4 stars because their website did not advise that happy hour would only be on the patio and at the bar. Also when we were ordering, I was telling our server that the happy hour pricing was great so we ordered a couple drinks and the Frito misto. At the end of our dinner, we were told that happy hour pricing was only at the bar and the patio. We still enjoyed the food so that was not such a bad thing but it did make me cringe a bit since she knew I was looking at the happy hour menu and she could have mentioned at that point that the happy hour was not for the inside portion of the restaurant. Outside of that, the food was incredible. Probably the best spaghetti and clams I've had! The anniversary card was also a good touch for a coupling for next time. The ambiance was pretty comfortable and cozy. The decor was nice and we did get a huge booth. I would like the patio next time for happy hour and great weather.

Yelp
The inside is quite small but had a good ambiance. It was dark which was nice. It wasn't too loud either which was very nice. I liked the atmosphere. The food was good. The service was also good and our server was friendly. If you like seafood or tapas this is a good place for a date night.

Yelp
This was my first time at this restaurant last week and I absolutely will be back, it was a little windy outside, but we tried to sit on the patio anyway, and we were out there for a bit until we ordered our entrées and then we decided we wanted to go inside and our server and the staff were so accommodating and nice even though it was a little difficult! The food also was incredible. All of us loved all of our dishes that we had carrot, bruschetta, basil, clam spaghetti, mahi-mahi, special, fish tacos everything was excellent and fresh.! I also really enjoyed the ambience of the patio and since we went inside, got to experience that as well very comfortable relaxing setting. Just a great vibe altogether.

Yelp
Wow! Really enjoyed this place! This was our first time visit and we will definitely be back. Great ambiance and great food. Way better than the typical steak and seafood presentations around Scottsdale. We started with oysters and I ordered the radicchio salad. Surprisingly they served the oysters without any accompaniments. (Do people eat oysters plain?) I had to ask for mignonette, which they brought. It was very good. The salad was very interesting and different. I enjoyed it though my husband didn't. Be prepared for the bitterness of the radicchio as it is not balanced at all by the sweeter elements in the dish. The foam was fun and interesting. Next time will try a different appetizer. We ordered branzino and halibut. Both divine. My husband's halibut had apple in the dish, which tasted like it was prepared in sage butter. It was amazing and made the dish. The branzino was grilled perfectly and sooooo good. Do not order though if you can't deal with small bones. Note that dinner portions are not huge. I almost always have leftovers after dinner and I ate my entire appetizer and meal. (This never happens) We don't usually order deserts but ordered two (probably the first time ever?) because we had room and the choices were so tantalizing. Key lime pie and apple cake with sorbet were both very good. I felt the apple cake could use more sauce/wet elements but my husband loved it as is. The desert portion sizes are big and definitely shareable by two people. We had leftovers. We sat on the outdoor patio and the vibes were perfect. They kept the temperature perfect and I didn't even need to wear my jacket (usually not the case for my in Scottsdale in winter). We just ordered wine but next time there was a variety of cocktails we plan to try. Bartender was really energetic and high energy which was great. Definitely loved this place and will make it a regular spot for fine dining.

Yelp
Wow! I have nothing bad to say about our visit to Pescada. We are just sad we don't have one back home. They provided great service. We sat on the outside patio, which was beautiful. The food was amazing: fresh and delicious! We had the oysters (which were so fresh!), mussels (these were okay), focaccia (yum), basil spaghetti and clams (tasty, but would rec another dish), paella (husband loved this), and sea bass (which was the best sea bass I've ever ordered; slight crisp on the outside and tender buttery like in the middle- like whoa). Like I said, sad to not have one at home. We look forward to visiting again next time!

Yelp
My daughter and her BF intended to treat us for Happy Hour, as she was craving mussels. Me and GF were craving the Gambas al Ajillo... although neither dish was to grace our table due to Arizona Restaurant Week menu taking priority. We debated ditching for another option, yet stayed. The drinks were hand crafted and flavorful (and beautiful) although slow to make it to the table. Food around the table varied as minds were preset on the Gambas. The seafood paella was a worthy substitute. The kiddo had a Seafood Stew and her man had Branzino, both from the Restaurant Week menu. Lindsee was a true professional and cheerful as our server. She was a key reason for us staying on. While the dining room and patio were busy, it was not a slam crowd, so questioning why slower in drink/food delivery, hence the 1-Star deduct. Will report back following a successful Happy Hour visit! (Note. I rescued my daughter paying the tab, as not HH prices).

Yelp
I am just blown away! What a beautiful spot! The decor is amazing and so is the area around Pescada. We had amazing, attentive, and super friendly service by Rachel when my gym partner and I came for restaurant week (night of Sept 24). Pescada has an amazing selection of food and drink. There are tons of cocktails I would be glad to come back and try, but my gym partner and I had our respective glasses of red and white wine which were delightful. We started with the "Crisp Artichokes and Lemon" and "Papas Bravas & Salmon". WOW! The artichoke appetizer was a flavor explosion, and the papas bravas had this amazing texture and taste that is indescribable. For entrees, we got the "Sugar Pie Pumpkin Risotto" and the "Lobster Mezzaluna". Both of these dishes blew us away. We were so full at this point but it was hard to stop eating - everything looked and tasted just amazing. The desserts, "Roja Creme Brulee" and the "Lemon Almond Cake" were a great end to the night. Everything was super pretty you almost just don't want to eat it! Thanks for such a great night! I WILL BE BACK!

Yelp
A couple of my friends had recommended this place so I thought I would give it a whirl. I sat at the bar and the bartender was phenomenal! His name was Jordan and he needs to get a raise because he did an outstanding job. The vibe here is really nice! However, the food was just OK. I ordered the Chilean Seabass and it lacked flavor to me. It really needed some salt and pepper and maybe some type of a sauce. I wasn't the only one who said the food was somewhat bland. The couple sitting next to me, Me ordered the crab toast and they had to ask for salt and pepper. They also ordered the salmon and they said that both dishes were really bland. We both concluded that maybe they don't use a lot of salt because they might cater to an older clientele. Older people tend not to like salt as much and spice as much. My drinks were really awesome though. I had a Cosmo and I also had a spicy margarita with Tajin. Again, both of my drinks were amazing, but my fish was lackluster. For the love of everything that's holy please season your food with salt and pepper! And adding some sort of sauce to the fish would be a good touch too.

Yelp
First time here, it won't be our last! We started off with the house focaccia, on to the asparagus salad with pickled strawberries and asparagus mouse. I had the Third course, suckling, pig confit, UNREAL!!!!! 4th course, deconstructed tiramisu, don't wear socks because it will knock them off. Oswaldo was picked to take care of us, and did he ever!!! We are blessed, loved his energy, knowledge and his overall personality. Also, his descriptions on the wine pairing was phenomenal. Other people that we enjoyed to make our experience so delightful was, Donovan, Xavier, Ritu and Ricky. But honestly, watching all the employees they would anyone feel welcomed and they would want to come back. I WOULD RECOMMEND AND RETURN

Yelp
The ambience and the service were impeccable. The location is great. The food really was a let down for us. The mains - octopus and the "trout" (which tasted and looked like a salmon) was super bland and sub par. The appetizers were really good. With so many great restaurants in the area, it may be a while if we come back.

Yelp
So happy that we have found Pescada. If you like seafood in an upscale dining atmosphere, this is an excellent place to get it. Creative menu options and some "turf" choices for those looking for something from the land. I actually had the pork chop on my last visit and was very pleased with it. On a previous visit, I had the Portugese Stew and it exceeded all my expectations. Very very good. Creative and unique cocktail list, and great wine list as well. Moet is available in splits so perfect for that pre-dinner drink for champagne lovers. Our servers have been perfectly attentive, very knowledgeable and have paid close attention to my wife's allergies, which is always refreshing.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this restaurant for a while, so we finally made a reservation to celebrate my birthday. The ambience was lovely, with a Mediterranean vibe that we really enjoyed. We began our meal by sharing the Grilled Oysters and Autumn Salad. Unfortunately, the oysters were underwhelming--they were extremely small. However, the salad was light and refreshing. For our entrées, I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass, and my boyfriend had the Local Prime Ribeye. My sea bass was absolutely perfect--fresh, moist, and cooked to perfection. For dessert, we opted for the Butter Cake and the Lemon Ricotta Cake. Both were a big disappointment. The butter cake was dry and overbaked, though the ice cream helped make it somewhat edible. The lemon ricotta cake was also dry. At $18 and $15 respectively, these desserts were overpriced for how little they were and underwhelming. When I think of butter cake, I think of places like Eddie V's, Dominick's, or Maestro's. It was also a letdown that they didn't even comp one of the desserts for my birthday celebration. Would we return? Probably, but only for the entrées. The entire meal, including two drinks, cost over $200. For that price, I expect a "wow" experience, and unfortunately, this restaurant didn't quite deliver.

Yelp
We had a very charming high end high attention time at a gorgeous and intimately played dinner at Pescada. The decor is old world meets gold and silver tone details that catch the light luxurious Mediterranean vibe. It yearns to be on an ocean cliff with water just outside the helm of the attached circuit patio draped in heavy maroon regal curtains. We enjoyed a sampling of delicious appetizers baked oysters, grilled oysters, a whipped beet and goat cheese salad, and bacon wrapped dates. Then the main dishes to share of lamb chops on a bed of sweet potatoes and broccolini, grilled octopus atop creamy and seasoned black emperor rice. The rice was plentiful to share and the memory of the flavor at the end was perfect spice note. The dessert star was this lemon sorbet atop a denser cake? It came as a birthday treat for our friend so I'm not sure what it was but it had a perfect balance of sweet sour and homey note. Thank you for all the perfect details! We noticed every single one!

Yelp
I LOVE Pescada! It's our favorite place in our neck of the woods for date night ! We went recently for Arizona Restaurant Week, one of our favorite times of the year .. cool thing , it lands on the week of my birthday in the spring and my husband's in the fall. Since we love Pescada so much we knew one of our ARW choices would be here. We decided to arrive early to enjoy the bar. The decor is so pretty and the patio encompasses the back of the bar and is cool even when it's warm out. The drink list along with the wine list is also so innovative. We let the host know when we arrived that we were about 45 minutes early and sat at the bar we were. We were never greeted in our time there at the bar and the host got us about 20 minutes later .. no greeting- no drink and that was very disappointing considering how many times we have recommended Pescada & come here. Two bartenders and it was not as crowded as we had seen it other times.. and even if it had been.. just greet your guests and state you will be with them soon. We were shown to our table and the night carried on much better. The ARW menu was as great as Pescada's menu always is : fresh , innovative and tasty. I started with the Artichoke and Aliolo , we also added the optional wine pairing to our meal. Our waiter, John, was kind, but he did mess up delivering our wines a couple of times and missed a few things, which again is okay , because he was so kind. I loved my artichoke and the wine , once I switched it ! I got the Lobster Mezzeluna, which I've had before. This time I didn't love it as much because they changed the sauce on it.. but again it was still good. The dessert was great too.. all of the wines .. out of this world! A HBD card was given to my husband for his day. Perfect place and I always love the changing menu and fresh ingredients. The staff here is so kind too :-)

Yelp
Jordan, our server/ bartender, along with Bryan, Nelson, David, and Carson made our Thursday date night feel very special. Not only did Jordan take the time to recommend and explain some new dishes, he coursed them out and we never felt rushed. We had the ribeye, cappelletti, steak tartare and Brussels sprouts. We ordered the barbera wine, which complemented the steak dishes very well, a creation of Jordan's, he called the J-spot and a sumptuous espresso martini with reposado tequila, as per his recommendation. I noticed a small bit of broken glass outside the restaurant along the patio, but it was gone upon leaving. It's obvious the management and staff really care. 10/5 stars.
google avatar

Claudia M.

Yelp
We had high hopes for Pescada, but the experience was disappointing from start to finish. We were seated on the patio which, while pleasant, didn't match the prices they charge--no linens besides napkins, a completely bare table, and an overall feel more like a casual café than a high-end restaurant. We ordered two appetizers, but they came out spaced far apart, and then the steak tartare arrived much later. It tasted overwhelmingly like anchovies (they did comp it, which we appreciated). Service overall was incredibly slow--it took over an hour to get our food. My son ordered the scallop dinner, and it came with only three very small scallops--definitely more of an appetizer than a proper entrée. Not worth the wait or the price.

Yelp
My recent visit to this restaurant left me with a mix of admiration and slight disappointment. The ambiance is truly a standout, evoking the feeling of being whisked away to a foreign land. The bar area, with its ornate decor, provides a sense of both exoticism and comfort, making it a highlight of the establishment. The lighting is perfect and we were seated right away. The beverage selection is superb, offering a variety of fantastic drinks that perfectly complement the unique atmosphere. When it comes to service, the staff shines brightly. Our waiter was not only friendly but also adept at making excellent recommendations, which added a personal touch to our dining experience. However, while the food was generally tasty, it fell short in a few areas. The menu selection lacked breadth, and the pricing felt disproportionately high for what was offered. Specific dishes, such as the escargot, were underwhelming in flavor and overwhelming in its presentation. Similarly, while the house focaccia was disappointingly dry, the Caesar salad was a delicious exception, winning over my taste buds. Everyone loved the bacon wrapped dates and the salad my wife ordered was a bit bland. The lobster bisque was good but the portion was very small. The consensus among my dining companions mirrored my feelings: the restaurant is visually stunning and the service is top-notch, but the food does not fully justify the expense. Despite these culinary missteps, the overall experience compels me to give this place another try. I plan to return, perhaps to enjoy a casual evening at the bar, savoring the drinks and soaking in the atmosphere, while exploring other menu options. Wish I could have given them a 5 star review maybe next time.

Yelp
You must dine here! The food is phenomenal, the ambiance is charming, but also upscale and the service is impeccable. We dined here as a party of two for an early dinner and loved the setup of the dining room -- we could actually hear each other even when the tables filled up. The food was amazing, he had the gambas al ajillo (garlic shrimp) and I had the Seabass. I'm gluten free and dairy free and they were accommodating and easily helped me determine my best options for modification. Our server specifically (I wish I could remember his name) said he and his girlfriend both have food sensitivities so he knew right away which options would suit me best. The cocktails were perfection. The decor is so cute and we absolutely loved our experience, beginning to end. Highly highly recommend!

Yelp
We stopped into Pescada to grab happy hour drinks but ended up staying for the entire entire dinner because we had such a great time! The cocktails during happy hour were delicious along with the appetizer/bites. The service was incredible. We sat at the bar and they gave great recommendations and we watched the sun set absolutely stunning. Seafood paella along with the whole fish was divine! This will be a new date night spot, for either a more relaxed environment at the bar or romantic spot at the dining table. Highly recommend!

Yelp
What's up everybody!! Soooooooo. Restaurant week is always one of my favorite times of the year, especially when it occurs during bday month. I went to this newer, Mediterranean inspired Seafood spot. And yo, it's definitely one of the top 5 restaurants I've been to in AZ. Let's get to it. Andalusia Gazpacho & Smoked Trout Stuffed Eggs - (Gazpacho) Chilled Tomato Soup with fresh Cucumber, Peppers and Chili Oil. flames!! (Stuffed Eggs) Deviled Eggs mixed with Trout, topped with Trout Caviar on a bed of Avocado Mousse. Amazing!! Portuguese Stew - Rich Chilean Seabass, Peppers, Tomatoes and Coconut Milk. Delish!! Served with a side of Saffron Rice, Portuguese Rolls and Lime. Short Rib Bourguigon - Nothing I ate was bad, all delish but this was my favorite dish. Fall of the bone Short Rib, Bourguigon Style, on a bed of Celeriac Puree with Carrots, Cremini Mushrooms, Pearl Onions and a Gremoleta (Dressing) Smackalicious!! Seriously. Must order for me. Blood Orange and Pistachio Panna Cotta - Sweet Cream thickened to perfection, Flavored Geletin on top. Mmmh. Chefs kiss. I highly recommend this place, service was top notch and outside of restaurant week, it's an affordable place given the amazing service and quality of food. Edward was our server and he was amazing, plus they gave me a legit bday card!! Also ordered the Focaccia Bread with Cod Pate, Housemade Italian Olives and Truffle Butter all to die for. Go check 'em out!! Cheers!!

Yelp
Good food. Great service. Very pleasant ambiance. Out of all the restaurants run by the same owners, it's my favorite along with Alma. Is it revolutionary and innovative? Maybe not, but scallops were done right and a charcuterie board was quite tasty. If you like Spanish influenced food, you should give it a try. It's not a cheap experience, but it's worth it.

Yelp
Pescada is a solid choice if you're looking for a nice atmosphere are a business dinner. Our group split multiple appetizers, all of which were fun and unique. If you're a fan of deviled eggs, the Smoked Trout Stuffed Eggs are a fun twist, and the Croquetas de Bacalao taste like they came straight from Spain. My main dish, the lobster pasta, was slightly overpriced for the quantity, but the watermelon gazpacho made up for it - perfectly tangy and served like we've experienced before at Michelin-starred restaurants. The reason why this place is getting 5 stars, though, is our waiter (and bartender) T. I asked whether he could make any of the listed cocktails non-alcoholic, and his answer was "I can make anything, what flavors do you like?" I proceeded to have the two best mocktails I've had in my life. He made a spectacular gin&tonic alternative, and when I mentioned that I'm usually an Old Fashioned drinker but I haven't found anything mimicking a bourbon drink yet, he whipped out an absolutely killer alternative to an Old Fashioned. I haven't had anything like it. It looked absolutely identical to the other Old Fashioneds at the table and similarly was a slow sipper, but with herbal base instead of the typical alcohol. Absolutely incredible. Prices 4/5, food 4+/5, mocktails 100/5. T's concoctions should be on the menu.

Yelp
Food: very good twist on Mediterranean seafood. Vegetarian and vegan alternatives are fine. Service: emulates higher end European attentiveness with American friendliness. Ambiance: very elegant yet informal. Great music that just feels right with the food and service. Impressive wine list. This is a wonderful place to visit.

Yelp
Excellent. This place is beautiful. Great atmosphere! Went for sissy's birthday and everything was spot on. Focaccia bread was delicious! Eggplant, filet, stew, sea bass. All the entrees were perfect! Cocktails were great and our server Nadia was awesome. Definitely coming back!

What a great experience! Jeannie was such a great server and had fantastic suggestions. We went for our anniversary and it was totally worth it and more. The paella was delicious as was the fritto misto. The drinks were great. All around perfect evening.

Yelp
The staff at Pescada graciously fit us in without a reservation tonight, and it absolutely made our evening. We routinely make reservations and had booked a table at a nearby restaurant far in advance. Unfortunately, the table we were offered was totally unacceptable, so we wandered down the street and were delighted with the entire experience at Pescada. It had been a while since our last meal there, but we were immediately reminded of the outstanding atmosphere, service and food, in addition to the beautiful live Spanish guitar music. This is a Bib Gourmand restaurant right on Market Street in DC Ranch and the designation is very well deserved. We're fortunate to have a restaurant of this quality nearby and we will be back soon.

Yelp
Delicious food: the oysters were very good so was the focaccia with cod pate' although the focaccia had a little too much garlic. The seabass was excellent. The paella had plenty of seafood a great rice, very tasty. John, our server was courteous and informative. The ambiance was very nice and we did not have to yell to hear each other. We will definitely go back

Yelp
We had a great time at the bar tonight with Jordan. He was personable, knowledgeable, and wonderfully hospitable. Food was excellent as well. Best paella we've had in AZ!

Yelp
Pescada for the AZ Restaurant Week win! 5 stars in all areas..Food, service, ambiance, and more. We had the pig confit (flavors were amazing), scallops and Dungeness crab (scallops cooked to perfection but the pasta wrap of the Dungeness crab was a little too thick) and ocean trout that melts in your mouth. Dessert was somewhat mediocre compared to the rest of the offerings but we were honestly too full at that point to need anything more. The outside patio seating was very romantic and comfortable on a warm spring evening

Yelp
The inside is so nice, the bar is inside and outside and has a nice size patio with misters. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The food was really good we liked everything but the star was the bacon wrapped dates, the were fantastic. The cocktails were good and a great selection of wine. Will definitely come back. Great location.

Yelp
We had Jake at the bar, drinks were part of the experience! Super clean, lighting is always perfect for pictures & to enjoy your dinner. Our server (Jake) did an amazing job of keeping us hydrated & entertained.

Yelp
Great service, incredible food- such a treat for Scottsdale to have a restaurant like this!

Yelp
The service incredibly slow...2 hrs 40min. Two of our four dinners were good, one average and one not good. Other tables were served promptly, our table had to ask for each course after long waits. Our server was MIA most of the evening. Would not go back...too bad, all of her other restaurants are excellent!

Yelp
We went to Pescada the other night for our first time and we had a nice experience, it's a beautiful restaurant. They were running a bit behind and had an off night but management realized the issue and came over to let us know and offered some wine to apologize for the problem. It more than rectified the issue, their hospitality was excellent and we will absolutely go back again. The cocktails were inventive and delicious and the bacon wrapped dates were excellent! Looking forward to trying more from them in the future!

Yelp
We were very excited to try this brand new restaurant as we both enjoy upscale seafood frequently. The ambiance was absolutely beautiful. The menu was interesting and we were hopeful for a wonderful evening. Unfortunately the experience started out with a negative tone when I asked a question about the wine and felt the waitress was condescending in her answer. To begin, I ordered 6 oysters and requested 3 of both kinds offered. I was told I could only have 6 of one kind. I found this to be very odd. I order oysters whenever I can and am always allowed to pick a variety. The 6 I got were excellent. The rest of the meal was average. It was plated perfectly and was presented well. However, nothing was overly impressive in flavor. We had the lobster bisque, seafood sausage, scallops, Chilean sea bass, and rhubarb tart. Nothing was off putting but nothing was phenomenal. Our waitress was rather cold and unfriendly during the meal. I noticed all the other wait staff interacting with customers and they were so outgoing, warm and engaging. Our experience there would have been much more enjoyable with a friendlier waitress. We were disappointed overall and will not visit again.

Yelp
These reviews are well overdue. We had two fabulous dinners here with the same great team of servers. Eddie was superb & Jane was amazing. Our first experience was Christmas Eve - a prix fix 3 course that was so wonderful. The atmosphere is beautiful Service is warm and attentive, but not overpowering. Food is to die, for. We loved it so much we decided to come back for New Year's Eve which was equally terrific. Our new favorite!!.

Yelp
The beef tartare is amazing, as well as the octopus! Highly recommend this place if you're looking for Mediterranean food with a seafood focus. The cocktails were also fantastic. It wasn't very busy as I think people still aren't aware of what a gem this spot is. We had fantastic service and will definitely be back.

Yelp
Fabulous food, service and ambiance. Had swordfish with stuffed artichoke , shrimp piccata, Portuguese stew and scallops/ crab- service was excellent - we tasted the crab cake (was fabulous) and ambiance was great. Highly recommend !

Yelp
Our first visit here was for my wife's birthday and it was a hit. Super good service and the atmosphere is top notch. Great menu selections. We shared the Chilean Seabass which was a bit chewy but the ceviche made up for it. We will go again.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious food! We had the.restaurant week menu selections starting with asparagus salad. Fresh and light. My lamb chops were seasoned well and the sea bream my spouse had was clean plate delicious. Dessert for me was the orange oil cake while he had the pistachio pans cotta. Jose and the staff were attentive- we were well cared for. We will be back!

Yelp
Dined here for the 5th time last night and was unfortunately disappointed in the service. As huge fans of the entire family of restaurants Vic and Ola, Sol, Alma etc. was not a common experience . Our waiter was rushed, dismissive, not personal and made us feel like we needed to hurry up even though we were there a short time and forego dessert and aperitif because his energy was so bad. Food was good, pasta was cold by the time I received. We could barely get a cocktail in a timely manner and we sat for 10-15 minutes before anyone came by, we had to ask for a waiter. Hope they can focus on service to uphold to experience.

Yelp
This is a truly special restaurant with incredible food. It's is beautiful inside, dimly lit, with great ambiance. Perfect place for an upscale, quiet date night. We've had quite a few items on the menu and they're all done really well and really delicious. My favorite might be the scallops. They're not rubbery or slimy at all, like many of the places you get them and they're packed in weird preservatives. Great HH apps like polenta frites and the stuffed dates. It's a real fine dining experience with excellent service and a wonderful vibe.

Yelp
Very pretty restaurant with nice ambiance. Food was very good, as was the service. Nice bar. Reception area is small and crowded.

Yelp
The food was great. It seemed there was a change in dining management and things were running not as smooth as expected however the staff was amazing so that was all made up. A definite place to put on your "to dine" list!
