A newer, family-run spot near the waterfront, Pescatore turns out Italian classics—eggplant rollatini, seafood pastas, artisan pizzas—alongside house-baked sourdough. Praised by Palm Beach Post food writers for heartfelt cooking and warm service.

Awesome family run Italian restaurant in West Palm Beach. Owner always goes out of his way to accommodate the group. Excellent Veal Parm and Vodka Sauce

The Caesar salad was decent, but a bit too dry for my taste. As for the margarita, it was overwhelmingly strong — heavy on both the Patrón and lime, making it difficult to drink. I could only manage half the drink, and even that felt forced. At least you get your moneys worth! Atmosphere was great- loved the low lighting. I would definitely go again now that I know more about the offerings.

This is a lovely spot for family and friends. Fast but not too fast service. Kind and friendly team and of course amazing chicken Parmesan as well as spaghetti and meatballs! The beet salad is my favorite and eggplant just the way I like it! Keep up the good work!

Google
Super disappointed. I was craving some really yummy alfredo pasta and specifically chose this place out of all pasta options in downtown WPB. I ordered it as pick up and when I got home my jaw dropped because of how sad this pasta looks. Where’s the alfredo sauce?! I’m giving it two stars because my fiancée really enjoyed her Fettuccine Bolognese with added ricotta.

Google
Excellent food, service, and ambiance. We celebrated my husband's birthday, and the owner, as well as the staff, made everything possible to make our night memorable. Thank you.

Google
Have to give them 5 out of 5! I randomly found this restaurant on google and wow, I'm in for my neighbourhood Italian restaurant. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is nice, great service mind. For the whole pricing and food, the whole experience, just perfect. If you looking for the lowkey date night restaurant, this is the one. Come hungry, the food here is delicious.

Google
I’ve been hearing so much about this restaurant and it’s essentially in my neighborhood. The food was extra extraordinary. The staff is amazing such a great spot. It will definitely become my go to for Italian food.!

Google
Delicious!!!! We frequent Pescatores. It is hidden in open sight, and you might pass it up. Don’t, I promise you will love it and return again and again. No loud, music, pretty ambiance, just enjoy. The arugula salad, bruschetta, pizza, and the pasta dishes are wonderful. Enjoy!! We go there almost weekly and have since tried all of the desserts. Tiramisu, chocolate cake and a pistachio ice cream dessert - ALL of them were delicious!!!

Yelp
We were looking for a new Italian place to go to and we found this one and it was highly recommended by several people on yelp that we know so we went. We arrived on a Saturday night with a reservation for 6 o'clock. The parking lot was empty. We thought maybe the restaurant was closed when we went in and sat down. We were the only table Seated in the whole place. The restaurant is lovely with beautiful wooden tables nicely decorated and a very nice ambience. Nonetheless, we ordered and within a few minutes four or five more tables came long. Our drinks came out and everyone ordered something different on the menu and while we had our drinks and chatted, fresh hot focaccia bread was served at the table with a dipping sauce and it was wonderful. Our server was attentive and our food didn't take very long. I ordered The fettuccine Pescatore with a white sauce. It was fettuccine with an oil, butter and wine, based sauce with scallops, shrimp, clams, and mussels. It was delicious, and I ate every bite of it. My wife ordered chicken Caprese and it was not on the menu, but it used to be and they had no trouble making it for us. It was served with angel hair pasta, and a red sauce. She truly enjoyed it. Our friends had chicken, piccata and chicken Milanese And they both said the meal was wonderful. During our meal, the server came many times and checked on us to make sure we had what we needed, he put fresh grated Parmesan on everyone's and refilled our bread and dipping oil during our meal and tried very hard to temp us into dessert. This was a very good place and although it wasn't very busy, it should be. It's clearly a treasure.

Yelp
Been here about 10 times now and everything is really solid. The food is delicious and the service is really good. We did have one visit where the server disappeared, maybe she quit mid shift? Who knows. It's nice inside even though the outside of the building is not really that flattering. The area is slowly getting redeveloped too. Pasta is very fresh and their pizza is also amazing. We've tried almost all of their seafood dishes and they've all been excellent. Enjoy!

Yelp
Absolutely love this quiet little local neighborhood Italian restaurant. The food is delicious. The service is great. The atmosphere is perfect. Very fair pricing and plenty of easy free parking. We love eating at the bar. We always meet other nice people and strike up a nice conversation that leads to meeting and making new friends and sharing another glass of wine. Highly recommend. You won't be disappointed. Give it a try.

Yelp
For years I have cruised up and down Dixie past the unassuming Pescatore. Last night, with a concert nearby, a friend and I parked in the back (ample free parking---wonder of wonders!) and honored our Open Table reservation. Kate, our server, was engaging, helpful and attentive. The space is quiet, dim, and lovely and our Gorgonzola pear salad was exquisite (fig balsamic on the side). Fresh pompano was prepared to our specs, and served with crisp-tender broccoli and roasted potatoes. I'll be back!

Yelp
we've been here several times before and it always meets our expectations for excellent food, a lovely atmosphere, and good service. I had a Manhattan before dinner, and believe me you can trust the bartender to deliver your favorite cocktail . my wife had a dinner salad and enjoyed every bite. I started with a delicious Caesar salad salad, and then a half order of ricotta ravioli which was also delicious. The only thing that wasn't five stars was the ricotta cheesecake which was a little bland, but that's just my taste. We will absolutely return .

David K.

Yelp
The waiter was very attentive. The food was ehhh. Not great, not bad. Just ok. The portions were small. The ambiance , nothing to write home about. And the prices are high for the quality of the food. The branzino was boring. The Lemonsole was tastier but it wasn't fresh. Now the main comes with a side of pasta. But if your order the fettuccine there was a $3.00 additional charge. I thought that was highly unusual for an Italian restaurant. The dessert, tiramisu, was not exceptional. We ordered a $54 bottle of wine that came with a screw cap. Never had a screw cap for $50 before. So, this place isn't horrible but I would pass on it. There are better restaurants in the county at much better prices.

Yelp
I never come this far north, but was glad I did. The outside does not relay how nice it is inside. When I went during the week it was very quiet. The food was absolutely delicious! I got the Sole Francese. The only thing a little off was the server, he seemed a bit awkward, maybe new to serving or something. But not bad. I would return here if in the area.

Yelp
When I was 23 and just starting in business (and not doing so very well at it), I would go to the bar at the extremely elegant Remington hotel in Houston, smoke a Davidoff cigar, and drink a cognac. That feeling of being successful, being in that space...it was a special feeling and was a turning point. Corny, huh? That feeling came back tonight when I sat at the bar at Pescatore for dinner, dining alone after a long day. Enjoyed it all. The food was spot-on. The service, professional and exceptional. The patrons obviously successful but not ostentatiously so, and comfortable in their skins. It was a good evening. I hope I get to return.

Ricky D.

Yelp
There are many good things about Pescatore and they include free and easy parking, a nice staff and comfortable seating but of course we are there for the food and it was really lacking. Gnocchi was overcooked and over sauced and even with the abundance of sauce there was little flavor and this dish was really amateurish and since I ordered it with pesto I was expecting a fresh light and aromatic sauce rather than a bland heavy cream sauce with no discernible pesto flavor. Another pasta item's sauce didn't have the rich full taste I was expecting. A Chicken dish featured tough chicken and I don't know if this stems from cooking techniques or from lower quality products or both but this was difficult to cut and after a few attempts I gave up. Meatballs also were not tender and I wasn't expecting that because, well meatballs aren't usually tough. I have driven by this restaurant many times and finally tried it and it had some of the worst Italian food I've tried in a while.

Mark J.

Yelp
Nice ambiance and good food. It was interesting that at 9 PM on a Saturday night that it was so quiet.

Robert S.

Yelp
Prices quite reasonable. Portions large. Help good. What's not to like? Adequate parking and room is quite pleasant.

Yelp
This is a very simple, understated neighborhood-type restaurant. It's not good if you want glitz, however for great, dependable food and service it's works incredibly well! We started at the bar and enjoyed some excellent martini. The vodka was also a very good pour! Our table was ready quickly and we were seated. The Caesar salad was fresh and very tasty. The pasta dishes were excellent, the chicken Parmesan was delicious, as well as the salmon and another other seafood entree. A very smooth Sancerre was the perfect accompaniment to the dinner. I would highly recommend this place to anyone! Just go and enjoy! John Pobiak Principal Broker JP LUXURY REAL ESTATE 301-440-4805

Yelp
This has been a Palm Beach staple for years. Pasta always fresh and homemade, food delivery quickly and Service always with a smile. Husband and wife owners always do right by the customers here. I would give them six stars out of five if I could. Tonight I had the fettuccine Alfredo and it was as good as you will get anywhere. I have in the past had their chicken and veal dishes and they were also delicious. Solid choice!

Trevor M.

Yelp
This restaurant is so good. Nice selection of wine and drinks and the food is so good! Also the owners are incredible people with a great staff. A nice place for a date, business meeting, or just to have a drink and grab a delicious pizza!

Michael S.

Yelp
Closed! I made reservations via website which took me to open Table. It took my reservations ,got there and the place was closed!
google avatar

Yelp
And we've been back almost weekly since wandering in the first time. Tonight was at least six stars , but I can only give five. Our friends with us are a very traditional Italian family and were seriously impressed with the quality. The best linguini with white clam sauce anywhere. Service was stellar as always! Definitely the best Italian around!

David L.

Yelp
Food and service. The worst veal parmagine I have ever had the oyster sauce very bland. My wife left have her fish on the plate. Do not recommend

Yelp
I've had two excellent meals at Pescatore! I'm in West Palm Beach for work this week, and came here for my birthday with friends one night. We all loved our meals, and I decided to come back tonight for dinner at the bar. Everyone is very friendly, and the food is fantastic. The pasta is perfectly al dente, and the chicken piccata I had was tender and flavorful. The linguine vongole was also a standout, with a delicious white wine sauce and perfectly clean clams. I'd also recommend the rollino as an appetizer, which is arugula and cheese baked in dough, almost like a lighter calzone. My friends and I shared this, and we were all blown away by it. Don't miss Pescatore for a great Italian meal!

Yelp
We are visiting from Denver and were attracted by this restaurant's reviews that cited great food and a family atmosphere. It lived up to its reputation. Our server, Michelle, was friendly and helpful. The focaccia bread and pasta are made in house and were delicious. We had eggplant parmigiana which was beautifully prepared, light and a large portion, Chicken Marsala that was delicious, linguine mare with a plate of mussels, shrimp, clams and scallops in a light red sauce and Linguine Vongole with clams in a white wine, garlic and olive oil. Our entrees were fantastic and the four of us finished a wonderful meal with Michelle' suggestion, Targum Pistachio, pistachio ice cream with a hard chocolate shell. The ambiance is warm, modern and friendly. I wish we could come more often but Denver is far away. I guess we'll be back next year!

Yelp
Food was delicious! Very comfortable vibe too. Also had plenty of parking. We had a great waiter, who took very good care of is.

Yelp
We had a very good dinner here. This was great, because this was not the restaurant I thought I had selected. Driving back one night from meeting friends a couple months ago, i saw a place I wanted to try. This wasn't it. Too funny. There was ample parking. They have their own lot behind the restaurant and you enter through the back door. We'd made reservations. But although full, seating wasn't a problem as we were there early. Anyhow, we started by sharing a beet salad. It was good, but had a lot more arugula than any beets in it. Our friends shared a caprese salad and liked it. I ordered their linguine with seafood. It was a large.bowl of pasta topped with clams, mussels, shrimp and calamari. It was quite good. I ate all the seafood and took half the pasta home. Our friends had the eggplant parmigiana (which came with a side of spaghetti) and a dish of penne alla vodka (in a pink sauce). My husband chose a small pizza with Gorgonzola and pepperoni. The cheese was in the middle so you got a bite of Gorgonzola with each slice. He liked the crispy crust, but would have liked more cheese. The desserts were fantastic. We shared a light and airy chocolate hazelnut cake that melted in your mouth. One of the best I've had in a very long time. And our friends shared some tiramisu -- another creamy light dessert that they really liked as well because it wasn't overly sweet. Service was good. We were warmly greeted. The setting is inviting -- a bit dark and cozy. The food came out in a timely manner. But we were not rushed. There was always someone nearby to follow through on any request. And we were thanked for coming (and we hope to see you again) on our departure.

Yelp
A wonderful night out with two Birthday girls, my wife and my cousin's wife! This place was a good choice for the Birthday celebrations. Welcoming and friendly staff made everyone feel at ease and they were very attentive. My wife and I shared the Beet Salad which was good. Lots of arugula greens. I chose a Gorgonzola and Pepperoni Pizza while the other three had pasta dishes. My pizza was very good with a nice crispy crunchy crust, plenty of pepperoni and gorgonzola cheese sprinkled on each slice. For dessert my wife I shared the Chocolate Hazelnut cake which was light, airy, full of chocolate and hazelnut flavor and not overly sweet. A great place for friends or family get togethers.

Yelp
My husband and I were excited to bring our family back to Pescatore to celebrate some exciting news we had just shared with them. We had eaten at Pescatore once before - the food was delicious and the service was pretty fast. Not this time. We waited over an hour for our food. The waitress did not come back to the table to clear any plates, refill water, or check on us at all and was the most RUDE waitress I have ever had in my life. When we asked what was going on with the food after an hour she rolled her eyes at us like a spoiled teenager and said she wasn't the one in the kitchen making it. Our waitress nor anyone from mangement stopped by to apologize for the food taking so incredibly long or to check on us. I was embarrassed we brought our family here. The waitress proceeded to be rude countless other times to us. We finally got our food, and my husband was served chicken Milanese, when he ordered veal Milanese. Completely one of the absolute worst dining experiences I have ever had. I served for years myself back in the day and would never have treated a customer like this waitress treated us. Will never go back.

Yelp
Was in the mood for Italian food and decided to give Pescatore a try. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was good and the service excellent!

Yelp
A superb Italian restaurant off the beaten path in west palm beach. Dixie hwy may put you off but don't let it stop you from seeking out this excellent Italian restaurant. There is plenty of parking around the back and you enter from the rear. The interior is welcoming with soft lighting, polished concrete floors and nice modern art on the walls. The tables are nicely separated so you there is privacy. There is nice bar as you enter. The bread basket is superb. The bread seems to be home made and it's served with a very nice olive oil with a dash of balsamic vinaigrette. We had the caprese wich was very nice and fresh garnished with an excellent balsamic reduction. We shared the Fettuccine with lobster in a cream sauce. The dish had plenty of lobster (from the claw not tail) and that was the predominant flavor. The cream sauce was not heavy at all. This dish is huge and perfect to share. The service was on point. They have a nice menu and we will certainty return and try other dished including the pizza.
google avatar

Michael H.

Yelp
Extremely friendly staff that knows the locals by name. Definitely a neighborhood staple in the area. I had one of the specials the mushroom ravioli and a salad as well as delightful Peroni beer on tap. The smell of pizza from the brick oven filled the air. Great open seating arrangement. Easy parking in the back. Win, win, win, with great food, great service and easy parking.

Yelp
So so good!!!! What a gem- you wouldn't know this place existed but we were so impressed. Excellent salad and pasta was exceptional.
google avatar

Laura P.

Yelp
Strange neighborhood for an amazing restaurant. Nice low lit ambiance with live music on a Friday night. Food was beautifully plated and had a great balance of flavors. Service was excellent.
google avatar

Gillian C.

Yelp
On a visit to the bar this past weekend (the bar top itself is beautiful) I enjoyed a Rollini, arugula and ricotta inside pizza dough. It was heavenly, especially with a beer. The couple sitting at the bar a few seats away had mussels, a heaping bowl that they raved about. Another customer told me he's never had a bad item on the menu and eats there weekly. This place is really darn good and has attracted regulars from Palm Beach Island. That says a lot for a restaurant and bar set in a slightly "iffy" area. The food and atmosphere are definitely worth a visit.

Dennis P.

Yelp
I ordered food online and changed my mind about it. I canceled via app and called Grubhub who rerouted me to the restaurant. I was yelled at and told that I was "not allowed " to cancel. I told the person on the phone I had already done so; person on phone said, "fine, go ahead and cancel but don't ever fu$&@g order from here again. Not sure if the food is any good since it was my first ordering from there but the service is terrible.

Jeremy D.

Yelp
A fine place for a quick meal, but nothing special. At best, this place could be described as an upper end pizzeria from the 80s. Ambience is simple and tired. Food was mediocre, though the homemade cavatelli was exceptional. Service was warm and friendly.

Eyra C.

Yelp
I love this place, cannot say enough good thing about it. Price check, service check and food super check. Authentic and delicious well rounded.
google avatar

Pauline C.

Yelp
Lovely restaurant, it has a nice feel...perfect for a quiet romance dinner. We were greeted and seated right away for our reservation. We ordered the eggplant rollatini appetizer, clam pizza and linguine vongole. The eggplant was perfect, just the right proportion of ingredients imo. First time trying the clams pizza here which was ok...we bite into a few broken shells. I've had it before with no shells and much more clams. It was more flavorful than the linguine, which I felt was lacking in flavor. I don't usually add cheese to this pasta, but I needed to this time. My only real complaint though is that everything came out together but nothing was hot. Service was meh, she checked back on us once towards the end of our meal.

Marlene Leff S.

Yelp
We were there Saturday nite March 16 loved the food and service a perfect place to meet your friends. Location easy from all places. I have already told my friends this is a gem restaurant. We will definitely return. I had sole which was Devine, my husband had linguine and clams . Our friends had lobster shrimp pasta and fettuccini all was delicious.
google avatar

Karin E.

Yelp
Business is ran poorly by the owners that are husband and wife. Drinks are water down and over charged . Guests are not treated properly. I would not recommend this restaurant
google avatar

Kathy T.

Yelp
Food is not good. And very expensive. God ambience at the bar. This place is not authentic Italian Restaurant.
google avatar

Lynnsea B.

Yelp
I most definitely recommend for you to come to this place. It really makes my dinner when you can go to a place and feel like you're family! The food was wonderful, the tartufo pistachio dessert was amazing, go for a date night, a family gathering, Or a girls wine and dine! You will not be disappointed!

Daniel P.

Yelp
My go to place, graciousness and the food never disappoints. My wife is an excellent cook, so when we eat out it has to be equal or better than her cooking. This is our go to spot. We were in Jupiter, Florida looking for someplace to eat after shopping at the Gardens Mall. It was unanimously decided to travel back to West Palm and enjoy Pescatore.
google avatar

Lilly P.

Yelp
Classic Italian restaurant vibes. We started with the freshest, flakiest bread. Like seriously, the bread may have been the best part of the meal. It was served with olive oil and balsamic. Then, we got the Caprese salad which had the juiciest tomatos. I also had one of my sister's meatballs, an arugula salad with cherry tomatoes and lemon vinegrette, and chicken parm with homemade fettuccine. The salad and caprese could have both used a little salt and pepper but they were good. All delicious, nothing outstanding, but a solid Italian restaurant (in both food and atmosphere). If you're looking for an easy Italian option in West Palm, check this place out!
google avatar

Kerry S.

Yelp
Italian done right. They have dishes not found on your typical pizza-and-pasta joint. And yes, the pizza is delicious so don't pass it up. My family did a "share your entree" style meal so we got to sample a lot of the menu. Everyone liked everything! Pasta dishes, chicken dishes, etc. I will gladly support this local joint and hope to for years to come. Full bar, dine-in, take-out options.
google avatar

James I.

Yelp
Food and service were amazing! I had the homemade gnocchi with pesto.....absolutely delicious. The homemade bread is also addicting (and perfect to mop up the remaining pesto from your plate.
google avatar

Curt L.

Yelp
Excellent food. Excellent service. Great ambience. Highly recommend this neighborhood gem.

Patrice K.

Yelp
There were four of us for dinner. From the moment we sat down, our server was very attentive and informative. The appetizers we ordered were tasty and the main courses were all very good. The presentation of the food was very appealing. It's hard to believe, but we all ordered dessert. And once again, they were very good. The ambience of the restaurant was also a plus. We definitely will make a return visit.
google avatar

Mace H.

Yelp
I came in looking for Eggplant parmesan. Place is quaint. A older scene. Lots of conversations and happy people. Our dinner was served hot and delicious. The flavors were really good. The sauces were right on spot. Would come again. On the bad side... No water refills until I was almost done. COVID and labor. Ugggg Dang, forgot the photo. ;(
google avatar

Marc W.

Yelp
I tried a pizza from Pescatore. It was pretty good for delivery. Remember that sitting in a box steams there pizza so it is not as good as in person. I tried the margarita and thought it was very good. It is not a big pizza just more than a single person size. The flavors were great and the crust above average. I look forward to trying the restaurant in person soon.

Fran Z.

Yelp
We found this restaurant on Yelp while visiting West Palm Beach and decided to give it a try. We had Kate as our server and she offered a number of terrific suggestions including Chicken Marsala and the French Martini cocktail which I thought were great. My husband had the shrimp and lobster Fra Diavlo which was fantastic. We ended with the pistachio tartufo which was also excellent.
google avatar

Gregg P.

Yelp
The warmth of the staff and the food will keep you coming back. Somewhat hidden and discreet on the outside, you will be greeted by a restaurant owned and operated by a husband and wife team that obviously cares that you are fed well and have a nice time. The quality of the food is always great. You might be surprised to find that some of the bet pizza in WPB is also made here. Be it fresh fish or hearty pasta, you will walk away satisfied.
google avatar

Elisa G.

Yelp
In an unlikely spot (on Dixie just north of Good Samaritan) I found a gem. I am sure many hospital visitors and staff members know this Italian restaurant, but I was looking for someplace somewhat north of downtown WPB and this came up on Yelp. Classic Italian with a small menu, but they do everything really well. Good cocktails (Negroni, Martini) and they have a really long bar (plenty of seating). We shared a beet and arugula salad and clams in a white wins sauce. Lots of clams and lots of garlic. Nonna would be happy. The entrees were all delicious and nicely portioned (not so much that you feel like you wasted food) but plenty to feel like you are a bit too much. Good quality and flavor. Veal piccata got good reviews and it was served with green beans ant roasted potatoes. Veal parmigiana and eggplant parm were both delicious. The red sauce was yummy with plenty of mozz. The fettuccine was silky and tender and the bolognese covering it was meaty and delicious. Obviously it was cooked long and slow. Nice Italian wine list that is very fairly priced. Proprietors are attentive and service superb. Big brightly lit parking lot too--always a plus.

Yelp
Discovered this jewel of a restaurant tonight. Cruising down Dixie tying to figure where my wife and I wanted to go for dinner and saw this place. Yelp had great reviews and that helped settle it for us. Our meal and service was wonderful! The jazz vibe atmosphere was relaxing and made for great dinner conversation. Food was top notch all the way, we started with salads which were delicious. Had the calamari appetizer which was cooked to perfection and some of the best we ever had but the ala vodka penne was without a doubt the best I ever had and my wife agrees. Desert was a homemade tiramisu that knocked our socks off with flavor. My cappachino ranks as one of the best I have had in Palm Beach county. We will definitely be back!
