Great concept, but disappointing execution.
We were initially excited about dining here, but the service left much to be desired. Upon arrival, we waited around 10 minutes before we were even handed the menu. Then, despite being ready, it took another 30 minutes for our order to be taken. Oddly enough, the waiter served other tables that had arrived after us, and we eventually had to wave to get his attention. No apology was offered for the delay nor the oversight.
We ordered three appetizers and one main to share, but each dish was served with a 15-minute gap in between. From the time the last appetizer was cleared to when the main course arrived, we waited another 35 minutes. In total, we arrived at 1 PM and didn’t finish until 3 PM. What should have been a casual lunch ended up feeling like a drawn-out nine-course tasting menu, without the finesse.
As for the food, it was hit or miss. The eggs with cheese and grilled cheese appetizers were a little bland and lacked seasoning. Fortunately, the main course redeemed the experience somewhat. The beef was tender, well-cooked, and full of flavor. Still, it is not enough for me to recommend this place to other people. The management for sure needs to fix the service quality.
