Solid Italian food! Moderate price point. Lackluster lunch special options, but this is clearly a more dinner oriented place. Still, would love to see something more exciting than cheese pizza or spaghetti and marinara on the lunch specials. Maybe a small portion of a more exciting pasta with a salad? Anyway, ordered off the full menu at lunch, got the mushroom pasta and added sausage. Everything tasted very fresh and good quality. Iced tea was good, flavorful, and fresh. Good portion size. Would absolutely return and recommend.

I loved the atmosphere inside the restaurant . I was last person to get my meal . All my friends had started eating . I didnt want to ve rude . Send my meal back . My salmon was raw in middle .

Personally, I won't be ordering the pizza again. It's 3 star pizza, at best. I tried the Rasta and the Gomez. The crust isn't that good and the toppings don't make for a very good tasting pizza. The pasta is better, which I'd give 4 stars to.

Pesto's is on our must stop list whenever we're in the area. The food is always fresh and the HH menu is spectacular! Don't forget the unique grilled broccoli Caesar salad. It's amazing! Go for a quick bite or a full meal and you won't be disappointed! Extensive wine list and great cocktails for those of you who enjoy an adult beverage or 2.

Google
My fav Italian restaurant in the Chandler/Gilbert/Tempe region!! Great ambiance, wonderful service and outstanding food. I normally get the spaghetti and meatballs and their red sauce is absolutely the best!! Love the meatballs too. A big thumbs up to Ariana who served us. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a great night, and is so warm and friendly too!! We will ask for her the next time we dine at this incredible restaurant. Highly recommend!!

My dining experience was wonderful! Our waitress, Erin, provided great service—she was very attentive, kind, and professional with excellent communication throughout the evening. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, and the beautiful fish tank added a lovely touch to the decor. The food was absolutely delicious! The Ziti and Grilled Chicken was perfectly cooked, and the wine selection was a fantastic complement to the meal. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Google
Great lunch! Flavors were fantastic, menu is quite nice. Looking forward to a proper dinner Edit: Took the family/friends for dinner and increased to 5 stars! Dinner service had personality and just the right amount of attention. The apps (no photos) and entrees were cozy and delightful. Nothing overboard on presentation, not a bunch of butter, fried food, and salt for "flavor". Just good, classic, flavorful, excellently prepared Italian meals. An absolute must-go for Italian food (especially if you're from the northeast).

Yelp
Where the locals go... and I like to consider myself a neighborhood local, but I'm not officially on the VIP list to be remembered on a first name basis (yet). My schedule is always full, so making time to really enjoy myself & indulge with a bottle of wine or chill time at the bar can be hard. Pasta, Wine, Pizza, Wine, salad, Wine... really good Italian dishes here. Patio seating is available when it's not hot and when we come, we usually just drop in without a reservation. If your a planner, make one in advance for your group. Atmosphere is nice. Bar area tends to be a bit louder (as expected) but I feel like once everyone gets through half a bottle, it's kicks up a notch. Though not Italian, I started off with a spicy margarita... from there, we decided to get a pizza, the Tuscan Prosciutto, Chicken Parmigiana & split of a large dinner salad. Salad to start was good. It did take some time for our food to come out, but it delivered as expected. Pizza had a nice crust, and the prosciutto was a nice touch. Chicken Parm was good, but the sauce seemed really thin with the noodles was my only knock on the meal. Already making plans to return when some out of town friends arrive.

Yelp
Q: What did the basil say to the chef? A: Stop PESTO-ing me! Everybody knows about this Chandler gem. It's a busy place and it is best that you make reservation to ensure a table. If not,you might be lucky enough to grab a spot in the bar area. WILD MUSHROOM SACCHETTI |$18| pesto cream sauce | coarse parmigiana: Sacchetti is a type of Italian pasta that is stuffed and shaped like small bags or purses. These little sachets of pillowy dough held a lovely cheesy mushroom mixture and swam in a lovely pesto cream sauce. It was everything delicious! COMBO SUPREME PIZZA |$25| pepperoni | sausage | mushroom | green pepper | onion | black olives: Such a solid pizza that had me, "Mmm MMMMMMing" on the first bite. Not exactly foldable but sturdy enough to hold all the ingredients. If we're asking which pesto is the besto, the answer is clearly Pesto's! Check on their website or Instagram for their Pesto's Poet Society Weekend Specials (available Thursday-Saturday).

Yelp
Do you know how duct tape and pasta are alike? They both fix everything. Joyce W. and I came to this Chandler gem at long last. We have always wanted to pop in and we finally stopped putting it off and wow. We ordered a Wild Mushroom Sacchetti $18 and a Combo Supreme Pizza $25. The pasta sachet of cheese and mushroom was a tasty dish in cream sauce. As for the pizza, it definitely hit the spot. I'm a pizza fanatic so I had no complaints whatsoever. Come to Pesto's for a good time and a great meal. Reservations are recommended as this place has a huge clientele.

Yelp
My daughter was craving Italian food and picked this place based on Yelp reviews. I hadn't been here in over 10 years, and wow, what a makeover! The ambiance was festive and organized, with a massive fish tank full of exotic ocean fish. For starter, we ordered the Crispy Calamari with Fresno chili, and it was a hit--5/5 from my wife, daughter, and me. I had the Meatball Sliders, which were just okay until I added the leftover freshno chili from the calamari. My wife loved her Pesto & Pasta with Chicken, and my daughter gave her Ziti & Grilled Chicken a 5/5 too. Personally, I think they were a bit generous with their ratings, but maybe that's just me and my love for fusion food. Our server Erin was super attentive, making the dining experience even better. Overall, I'd give it 4.5 stars because I think the pasta dishes could use a bit more flavor.

Yelp
Came for lunch, I hadn't been but a friend had been a few times. BEST DECISION!! Get over to this place asap for lunch specials and HH!! Dinner menu looks amazing so I need to be back! The restaurant is cozy and the service was great! 1/2 calzones are huge and still get a small side salad that was delicious. 1/2 sandwich and soup was spectacular! Best tortilla soup I've had, flavorful and lots of melted cheese. Sausage and pepper sandwich didn't disappoint, calzone was probably the way to go! Chicken and sun dried tomato was incredible and so was the sausage and pepperoni covered in cheese, you also get a side of marinara for dipping!! Next time I'll get drinks and dessert!

Yelp
We went over to Pesto's for our son's "25th" birthday. We waited 50 min and didn't get seated. It wasn't until we were getting up to leave that the manager came over to apologize for it taking so long and to offer bread. I cannot comment on the food, but would advise you to reserve a table. It's not a very big place, so even the bar area fills up fast.

Yelp
It was fun to try Pesto's with my friends -- for all the years all of us have lived here, in the area, it never crossed our minds that this quaint Italian restaurant exists! We were looking for a "proper" Italian joint to send off our friend, who is a New York Italian, on new adventures out of state. Pesto's passed the vibe check! We had to wait (not very long) for a four-top, they were busy! Really loved the food (most of the recipes came from the owner's Italian grandparents) and how friendly/neighborly it felt. We had just missed out on happy hour (daily food and bev specials), but they had a couple of entree specials that sounded appealing. Couple of my friends ordered the side salad to start and they couldn't stop raving about the Caesar dressing. I split the stuffed mushrooms and wished we had ordered more.. 3 wasn't enough for how hungry I apparently was. Any pasta dish you order is guaranteed to be a hit, we all tried a bite of each of ours and couldn't decide a winner (Pesto Pasta, Chicken Saltimbucca, Pasta Greek). While we were waiting to be seated, we watched a lot of foot traffic taking pizza to go. Only reason for a less than perfect dinner was service. Yes, they were busy, but it seemed like we rarely saw our server, and more of the others. She was nice, but a bit of a space case.

Yelp
Pestos is just a great restaurant. The food and drinks are fabulous. There's a wide range of delicious dishes. The pizza is excelent and people drive across town for the lasagna. They make their own pasta. One of my favorites is the chicken saltimbocca. On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, after 5, they have special antres and a special dessert. Service, probably some of the best in town, but then again I rarely go anywhere else.

Yelp
Another fantastic time and meal at our FAVORITE local Italian restaurant! In looking back, I always start my reviews with this statement but truly...they are the best! Special this week was the Halibut, which was perfect! Pan seared to perfection so it was cooked until done but still moist and flaky! Served on a bed of fresh spinach and orzo, which was covered with a Beurre Blanc sauce that just topped the entire dish off. I could drink a cup of that sauce! Because wife couldn't come, I took home our favorite eggplant parm with a side of pasta and then also ordered the carrot cake (one of the best!) and we also got the Lemon Ricotta Cheesecake special. She loved it...me not so much but only because I'm not a big cheesecake person. The service (tonight we had Erin) is always impeccable and the experience is always over and above! Cannot recommend this local treasure enough!

Yelp
One of the best Italian spots in the whole Valley. Pesto's is fantastic! From the ambiance, to the service, and definitely the food, everything here makes you feel like you're enjoying a home cooked Italian meal. It's not a very large space but they do take reservations. They're busy most nights to be honest. The inside is very nice. Huge fish tank (good entertainment for kiddos) and a couple tvs at the bar. The food here is excellent. Huge portions and everything tastes so fresh. The menu has all the Italian staples and some of their own twists. Highly recommend their pasta dishes, chicken parm, and the calamari appetizer. Definitely add Pesto's to your list. You're not going to be disappointed!

Yelp
Amazing good and a great neighborhood restaurant!!! The bacon wrapped dates were an incredible surprise!
google avatar

Izzy G.

Yelp
I went here on a date due to the good reviews. The restaurant had a good ambiance, and the staff was very friendly with great service. Now time for the food! My dish was absolutely delicious, I had the Eggplant Rollitini (I love eggplant!) and added angel hair pasta to my dish. Think eggplant parmigiana stuffed with riccotta. My date had the Chicken Saltimbocca which she liked, but not amazed by it.

Yelp
Service and ambience were lovely, but the food my table ordered was just okay. It could have been an off day or we might not have ordered the right items. To start, we got the Cheese Plate in the mini size. The cheese and jam selection were really lovely, but the bread and breadsticks were so tough and dry. For entrees, my table got the Wild Mushroom Sacchetti, Pasta Greek, and Pesto & Pasta with the sausage add-on. As you can see in my photo, the Wild Mushroom Sacchetti was drowning in the sauce, which I found a bit unpleasant as the sauce was so heavy and unctuous. Even after mopping up the sauce with the accompanied bread, there was still so much left! This is great for heavy sauce lovers, but I would not order this again if I were to return. The bread that came with the pasta was also not memorable. The Pesto & Pasta was over salted, which was a shame because the flavor itself was good. It could have been too heavy of a hand when chef was salting the pasta water. The Pasta Greek was did not leave much of an impression to order again. Portions here are rather large, filling, and can be pretty heavy depending on what you order. Overall, Pesto's has great ambience for something like a date, but I would struggle to recommend the food itself.

Yelp
I didn't grab any photos! But James our server was spot on attentive and funny! The food was amazing we got the stuffed mushrooms and two pizzas as well as the chicken pesto. Drinks were strong and balanced! Highly recommend!

Nicole C.

Yelp
Service is always fantastic. Happy hour is daily 3-6. The espresso martini's are perfection! Truly the best in Chandler. Pizza is so good and I love their happy hour chicken Caesar salad. It's busy, but quaint, and a family vibe. Love this place!

Yelp
Went here for my birthday dinner with my family. We were a group of 10 so we made a reservation, and were seated immediately even though the place was packed! Server (Colter) was excellent from start to finish and the food was divine! Debbie the owner even stopped by our table and chatted for a while, It was only my second time going but I will certainly be back for more!

Kelly T.

Yelp
Love this place. Wrote a 5 star review for them, but the reviews was deleted by yelp for some reason. Had an awesome meal. Service and food was amazing. The chicken saltimbocca was amazing. Highly recommend this place

Yelp
March 2024 Feeling introverted on this evening, but got the impression this is a family run restaurant, w long time staff. Food: had the CAESAR salad and PESTO AND PASTA; both very good and just what I wanted and was expecting. The DESSERT though. After "one of those days" and a "ta hell w it" moment I ordered the CANNOLI and a coffee w Baileys. Best decision. The Italian woman that took this order from me made me feel like she got why I needed it lol. There's a fish tank, which is cool. And I sat next to a couple regulars at the bar, to me regulars are always a good sign.
google avatar

Francesca M.

Yelp
Pesto's is one of the nicest Italian restaurants in the valley. The pasta is always cooked al dente, and the appetizers are unique and better quality compared to most places that offer the normal Italian-American mozzarella sticks. I highly recommend the trio platter and any happy hour specialties. The environment and service is welcoming, and the vibe inside is perfect for a date night or friend hangout.
google avatar

Yelp
We wanted to love this restaurant but we were disappointed. We ordered a pizza and found it to be sub par. The dough was so doughy and basic, the sauce was nothing special and the basil they put on the pizza did not do much for it. Pizza is only a few ingredients and very simple so the quality of the ingredients and how it is made matters.
google avatar

Rachelle D.

Yelp
The service was excellent; came with a large group on a Sat. night and the servers couldn't have been better! I like that you can have HH food on the wknd. Had a small salad and personal pizza; both underwhelming. The sauce tastes like it came from a can, pretty ho-hum. Hubby had 3-topping pizza; also nothing to write home about. Maybe there aren't a ton of options in Chandler which gives this place so much cred from residents, but we wouldn't go back again. Way better pizza in S'dale. However, the service was top notch, hence the 4-stars.
google avatar

Nicki M.

Yelp
Every time I've come here, I've really enjoyed their food. The first time I came with my boyfriend and we ordered the meatball sliders and pizza alfredo pizza. The sliders were good but the real star was the pizza! It had a nice crust and all of the ingredients together were so delicious. Leftovers did not make it home lol. Because of my first experience, I brought my dad back and he enjoyed it too. He ordered capellini and meatballs and I ordered the linguine and white clam sauce. My dad is picky about spaghetti and prefers to make his at home, but he admittedly really enjoyed his capellini here! Overall great family owned spot to check out in Chandler.

Yelp
Love, love this place. We mostly pickup a pizza and bring home but the place is always buzzing especially on a Friday night, which is pizza night for us. We love the scampi shrimp pizza.

Yelp
This review is for the experience that I just had. I haven't been since pre-COVID, but I think it's important to talk about this particular experience. First off, people love this place! It was seriously busy and the hostesses were kind enough to find us a table when it was packed ... at like 520pm. Wow! The service was very good. The people were very nice. Our issue was the food. It was pretty bleh. We started with the bacon-wrapped dates. My wife liked them. I felt that the blue cheese completely overpowered the dates. To be fair, I'm not a blue-cheese LOVER, so if you are, then maybe these will be great for you. For a blue-cheese liker, such as myself, best to pass. My wife ordered the beet salad. Photo included. It was, in actuality, a kale salad with some beets. And, it was a bit bitter. The flavors could stand to be more balanced. The candied walnuts were likely there to balance things out, but they weren't very sweet so the flavors were pretty unbalanced. My wife picked around the kale and ate the rest. I ordered the chicken saltimbocca. Fettuccini noodles, chicken stuffed with prosciutto, in a creamy brown sauce. Surprisingly meh. And, as you may know from other posts, I don't add salt to anything, except eggs and potatoes, so it wasn't a "this guy needs a lot of salt" thing. It was pasta with a relatively unflavored chicken and sauce, which had some flavor but, overall, nothing that I would want again. I would still encourage you to go and try out this neighborhood restaurant. I know that we'll be back ... but, to try something else.

Yelp
The food is delicious. We eat 3 items off the menu. The pizza was very tasty. The Greek salad was delicious. Very clean and very nice inside. Only drawback was the place was small and seating could be more comfortable. Lighting was on dark side to set the mood. Waitress was great.

Yelp
Food was amazing. We had the pizza, calamari, and wings- all amazing. Nice ambiance.

Yelp
This review is very, very long overdue. I don't want to give away my location but I'm often found at Pestos. I have worked in bar and restaurant my entire life, I am picky....this place is so, so good . The food is incredible. The specials on the weekend bring me in a lot. The staff is consistent, attentive and personable. The owners are often hanging out and know each patron. I haven't found such a place since I moved to Arizona 14 years ago. Please don't ever change Pestos, I love you. Tonight I discovered they even make their own bread. The dessert is to die for, and they even make a great hot latte. Yes. Yes. Yes to Pestos. It has always been a quality meal and I love to support a local business. My 8 year old requests their pizza .

Sofie M.

Yelp
Always amazing. We sit at the bar, friendly bartender, love the French pear. Obsessed with the prosciutto and melon salad, pretty much everything we have had here was a massive hit and created new cravings. Pizza has way too much garlic for me, but fresh garlic lovers, rejoice! Easy to see why we see so many regulars when we go back. It's awesome.

Yelp
And so I did return to Pesto's... I left discouraged and annoyed. It is a longtime family-owned and run restaurant in Chandler. Dinner music at dinner that increases the dining experience is a non-negotiable requirement. I am a caterer and restaurant business guy for 35 years. Pesto's was playing pop dance music! After an incredibly stressful day at work and a pleasant Dragoon Brewing beer release for AZ Craft Brewers' Guild AZ Beer Week at Whining Pig Gilbert I was ready to layout some money for a luxurious meal. Avanti got your business because when I asked if this style of music was going to continue I got, "Well no one has ever complained before..." and even though they said they would change the very high energy, giving me anxiety, and bound to give me agita music, it never changed. My third time there and never was the music pop dance music. I walked out and went to Avanti and again had one of the best meals of my life listening to beautiful Italian crooners. Very disappointing since I gave you 5 stars on my last two reviews and brought you new business both times aka friends. Do not let your college-aged employees touch the music. They are clueless.

Larry B.

Yelp
We've been going to Pesto's for quite a while and went back recently. Their pizza and salads are not cheap but their pizza and salads were always pretty good. Unfortunately, their pizza crust leaves a lot to be desired now. If they invested a little bit more money and brought in a decent or good pizza dough for the pizza crust, it would make the experience a lot better. Their salads aren't bad but not as good as they used to be. They have increased the price but put fewer items in the salad and the salads are now smaller. Sometimes it doesn't pay to be penny wise and dollar foolish when you're charging top dollar. The service was still pretty good since we were the only ones in the dining room.

Yelp
I had the lasagna....very good. Not the best I've had, but still very good. I also had the carrot cake. I wound highly recommend that dessert! Nice ambience and great service.

Yelp
I love to try new places. I must have drove by this place hundreds of times. I never knew it was here. I was across the street a few weeks ago and saw the sign. I decided to take my wife here for a weekend Valentine's day dinner. I love the look of the restaurant inside. it is very nice and cozy. We sat outside because the low tables were reserved which was fine because the weather was super nice. The server was really nice and prompt. I got the chicken saltimbocca and it was excellent. I loved the sauce and the noodles that the stuffed chicken breast is served on. The sauce was a marsala sauce but creamy which was new for me. The chicken breast was stuffed with prosciutto and sage. The flavour was really good. In my opinion this dish is one of the best that I have ever had. I loved how rich it was. The tiramisu was different from the traditional style I am used too. It was really good. I will definitely get the tiramisu again. This place is really good and I will be back.

Yelp
We went with our group of friends for a Friday dinner. The place was busy but we were seated immediately. They have a nice aquarium and the kids loved looking at variety of fishes. There was a table right next to it and we felt that's disturbing. The service is great and we were taken care of immediately. We went with Mac and cheese for kids, roasted cauliflower for starters, eggplant pizza and vegetable pizza for ourselves. The portion size is goo, The roasted cauliflower was such a waste, we thought it would be roasted and dipped in a sauce but was plain and too bland, felt we were eating a blanched cauliflower. The pizzas were excellent, loved the veggie pizza, everything is handmade and thin crust, loved the flavors. They could hold a little more sauce but otherwise tasted great. This place is a little over priced, for a family of 4 with young kids, costed us about $70, which we thought was a little overly.

Yelp
Had a great lunch here with a group of ladies on 2/6/24. They all lived near this restaurant but had never been there before but all said they'll be back. Think the "wine bar" sign outside overshadows the restaurant name; however, the food here was delicious! Plus, our server told us he's the manager & he was terrific! He was great about separate checks & also told us they have a great happy hour-see my pic. They also have sign on front door, "bring in crate of lemons & get a free pizza" - see picture. The majority of us had the lunch special which included a cup of soup or generous sized side salad and half sandwich, calzone, or pizza slice(s). The salads were delicious. Their Caesar dressing was fresh and delicious (sorry I didn't take a pic) & friends said Italian dressing was good as well. Friend & I each ordered the 1/2 eggplant parm sandwich. We've been searching for a good one & we found one! We could actually taste the eggplant. I have difficulties eating tomatoes so i got the sauce on the side. I ate it sparingly & thought it was delicious (my friend grabbed my extra sauce). Several others got the 1/2 meatball sub & they loved theirs as well. (See my pics of 1/2 sandwiches) We finished with a shared generous order of tiramisu- yum (see pic)!

Yelp
Forgot about this hidden gem after moving away from the Chandler area. Been to this restaurant recently and I have to say, they were so accommodating esp with 2 loud, tired and hungry toddler with us. The staff were very friendly, prompt and happy to accommodate our requests. Our kiddos enjoyed their meal as did us adults! The Ziti and Grilled Chicken was amazing! The creamy pesto Alfredo was delicious. The eggplant parm and lasagna were also a favorites of the table. Will definitely be back again! No pics, dinner with kiddos = eat quickly hah!

Jeff P.

Yelp
Had a short wait. This is a very popular restaurant. Worth the wait. Food was delicious! Service was great. Met the whole family. Owners came by each table and welcomed all. We will definitely be returning.

Yelp
Cauliflower is an absolute win - just say yes! (Dressing on the side my preference and suggestion.) Appetizer trio Chardonnay Until the next time.

Yelp
Feels like a mom & pop kind of restaurant with a touch of class. Like a Little Italy in New York City type of vibe once you walk in. Wine selection is decent. Happy hour options are nice. Definitely try their olives and charcuterie board if you're really wanting an experience with your wine. I did order their alfredo pasta off their happy hour menu as well. And that was not too shabby either. It was delicious as leftovers for me the next day. They seem to have many regulars here as the bartender was chopping it up with everyone sitting at the bar. Like a family type vibe. I'll come back to try out some of their dinner entrees.

Yelp
We needed a place to come for my birthday dinner and none of the places downtown Chandler would take reservations. Searched for restaurants nearby and this popped up. We accidentally selected this spot, but we will 100% be back and we will bring family and friends here and tell all our friends! The entire experience was spectacular! The food was incredible, the ambience was cool, and Jared our server was the absolute BEST!! From the recommendations for drinks and dishes to his making sure the wine glasses weren't empty and having the best personality and joking around with us all night. He truly made the night super special! The owner Debbie was incredible as well and she even gave me a tiara to wear during dinner! Let's talk about the food. My friends ordered calamari and stuffed mushroom caps to start and I got the mixed green salad. The calamari was good with light breading but very flavorful and they loved the the dipping sauce. The mushroom caps were outstanding and the hubby said he was surprised how good they were (not what he had expected at all). The salad was a pretty decent size and the dressing was light and crisp. Two of my friends ordered the lamb burger. They said it was the best burger they've had and it was completely unexpected for a pizza/pasta style restaurant. The bread was unique and the burger was cooked well and juicy. The cheese and toppings just iced the cake and it was an amazing flavor profile. Another friend got the Wild Mushroom Sacchetti. She was looking at photos in the reviews to find what she wanted to eat and was excited when she saw this. She said the pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce was not heavy and she thoroughly enjoyed the dish. Hubby ordered the linguine with clam sauce. He had expected it to be creamy like others he's had before but the flavor was incredible and the clams were delicious. I ordered the gnocchi special as it's one of my staple dishes when judging a new Italian spot. These were so good. Light pillows that almost melt in your mouth, the sauce was light and the mozzarella pearls were nice little surprises that melted under the warmth of the gnocchi. I devoured every last bite! I also ordered a cannoli to go but couldn't resist tasting it while we were still there. It had pistachios on it which is something I don't see often and I loved it. The shell was crispy and the filling was sweet but not too rich. Just the perfect little taste of heaven to end the dinner.

Yelp
I've been coming to Pesto's since it opened. We lived around the corner. We moved to Queen Creek 5 years ago, but luckily I still have some doctors here in Chandler. So I arrange my appointments to be able to catch lunch before going home. Frank please come to QC- we need something that's not a chain. Daniel knows I drink Diet Coke even when it's been months since I've been in and he's a great attentive server. I love their Greek salad and pizza with added pesto on it. Great eggplant parm.

Yelp
My husband and I decided to try this restaurant on one of our date nights. We started out with a charcuterie plate and enjoyed the selections provided. We decided to split the lamb burger. This was excellent! The service was good. The only drawback was the noise level. If you're looking for a quiet place to eat dinner, this isn't it. Even on a Wednesday, it was crowded and noisy!

Yelp
My new go to italian place. Amazing food, service, and a cute little spot in a shopping center. They even have a patio! Best of all, the carrot cake! Best I've ever had. Hands down! Been twice already since I found it and I assure you I'll be back.

Yelp
It has been months since we last enjoyed a meal here! A pregnancy kept my appetite away, so when my husband said he booked a date night for us here, this mama was over the moon! I already had my drink and appetizer order ready before we left the house ! We arrived on Friday evening and although they were fairly busy, because we had reservations we were seated immediately! The best part about it is we were served by our favorite waitress Karina! I do want to mention, we went fairly often before my pregnancy so we were used to seeing everyone who works there. The best part about this restaurant is they truly are family operated! I love that you get to see owners not only working the front whether it is seating people or taking orders but you can also catch them in the back helping to prepare food! For appetizers we enjoyed the large charcuterie board with both meats and cheeses along with the stuffed mushrooms. I would also suggest trying the bacon wrapped dates or even their calamari. For drinks my husband is a fan of their number one which is a cocktail. I enjoyed a mai tai followed by an apple martini! For the entrées we had the brick chicken and a warm Panzanella salad. Because I'd like to be a little different I requested to add sautéed shrimp to my Panzanella salad. Both entrées or weekly specials, so something you may only find once in a blue moon when they are serving. Pesto's truly is one of our favorite restaurants here in the south east valley! in fact, any family or friends who have come to visit weather from out of state or out of the country we have brought them here to eat. I must add my dad who isn't usually up for trying new things even loved this place when we brought him here and has asked to return when he visits! Keep up the great work Pestos!

Yelp
I tried this place on a whim today and glad I did. Wasn't a wholly successful visit but I always enjoy trying new places. The restaurant itself was fine. A little dark inside, definitely noisy as even only half full no conversations were private. I could hear people across the store, with no sound reduction. Left with a headache. The server Alyssa was pleasant and efficient. No complaints. The food service was very slow. I was fine with that since I assumed they were making it from scratch. That being said the portions were very small and I left hungry after paying around $20 (not including drink) for what looked like child size servings. The salad was fine, but the calzone was over cooked and crunchy. The crust was very dark brown and needed a steak knife to cut. Flavor was fine but that detracted from it. Overall it was fine, but could have been a lot better.
