富貴 Petals of a Peony (Midtown)

This great Chinese restaurant is not what I expected in Memphis. This restaurant located in midtown area with their own parking lot on the side of the building. Our server was lovely and helpful. The food came out really quick. Everything we ordered tasted so authentic. And when they warned you with the spice level, they are not joking around. The food is fresh. This place hands down one of the best Chinese out there.

Petals of Peony is a serene, spacious and classy authentic Chinese restaurant. I thoroughly enjoyed dining here as both the wait service and food were tasty. We tired the crispy duck, which tastes a bit drink and tough. The sauce used is also the standard sweet and sour sauce used at other smaller take out places. I prefer roast duck with soy sauce, so I'm not entirely sure they live up to their authentic Chinese title. I do love their white rice. It comes out hot moist and embodied the essence of fragrant jasmine rice aroma. The eggplant with minced pork was tasty! I am still interested in trying their other hot dishes--there are so many! I also love the tote bag and $5 off coupon they give to each of their customers. Kudos to great marketing strategy. I'll be back.

The Peony Chicken was excellent and mouthwatering.... The Mapo Tofu was delicious. Not too spicy. The bottled tea we received had a nice, smooth flavor. The decor and atmosphere are very serene and calm. It feels spacious. The customer service was very accommodating. Our waitress was nice!

From the second my family and I walked through the doors, we were greeted with a lovely atmosphere. Petals of a Peony does not only have good looks, though. The service was fast, with our waiter taking our orders promptly and our food coming out fast. The food was delicious. I highly recommend the beef stew noodles soup. The broth is very nourishing.

My friends and I came in here for the first time on Monday and were pleasantly surprised. We tried their cucumber salad, dumplings and wings as an appetizer. For dinner, we shared several items, such as the chicken peony, green beans, pork and cabbage and crispy duck. Everything was wonderful!! For dessert we had the matcha tiramisu and the blueberry cobbler cheesecake. Everything from the appetizers to the dessert was phenomenal. We had Ria as our server and couldn’t have been happier. Her great service and hospitality truly elevated the experience. We will be back!!

This is by far my best Chinese cuisine experience in the USA. We had the fried duck and the beef chicken shrimp with brown sauce, macha tiramisu, jasmine tea. All the food tasted excellent. I heard that the chefs were grown up in China. The waiters were very helpful, friendly and did take good care of us. Food came pretty quick and hot. The vibe was great. Overall, a hidden gem in Memphis, TN. We are for sure coming back again. Thanks for all you do!

Food was so good!! Pineapple sweet and sour chicken was best I’ve ever had. Beef jerky appetizer was good but caught me off guard since it was cold. Great experience! Ria was a fantastic server too!!

This restaurant was amazing! The food was delicious, and the service was great! I will be back for sure! The fried duck was crispy and just right! The rice was yummy, yum , yum . The spicy chicken dumplings was so delicious !!!
