This Greenpoint spot has been open since the 1950s, and their donuts are old school, but still draw a line that's usually out the door. Sit at the counter for a throwback experience—you can check out the seasonal decorations in the windows and talk about the fact that the place is technically part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. (Worth bragging about at school the next morning.) This Polish owned bakery offers a huge variety of freshly baked donuts, bagels, and bialys every morning, but don’t be too late or everything will be gone. While many people claim they know of the ‘best donut in town’, Peter Pan is a serious contender for the title. They are incredible. Not only that, but they are ridiculously well priced.
