Peter Tavern is a nice modern tavern a good place to have a drink and chill with your family and friends. The Ambiance is very good a small but cozy place. The food is amazing everything on the menu is great no main course as such but one will love all the starters/snacks. Drinks are on a bit higher side. The owners are very welcoming and friendly and will make you very comfortable. It's a family run business The parking is available for 2 wheelers four wheelers have to find parking on the roadside. (Not so difficult to find the staff will help you.) Overall a superb place to hang out a must try if you're in this area.

Food was decent but quite expensive. It is run by a family and lady named Danica was very friendly and welcoming. Quantity should be of a larger portion considering the price. Booze is also expensive and 22% VAT makes it worse. Not sure why such high VAT for a small cozy place. Ambience is nice but non AC so price should be lesser. Plain poi is only 10 but little extra cheese costs 180 which is insane. Overall you will enjoy but beware your pockets will be burnt

Lovely ambience run by a beautiful family. Super chill place, just like what a tavern is meant to be. Love the food. Crispy Beef and Chicken cutlet stole the show. A pet friendly place with competitive prices. A definite hangout spot that we will repeatedly visit.

Such a beautiful quaint tavern in the village of Paliem. A very homely feel and the owners are super friendly and so are the two boys serving the crowd. I’ve come here twice and on both occasions the food has been on point. It can get spicy but considering where I live I don’t get to eat spice, so this is the perfect place. Food and drinks are reasonably priced too. Oh, and if you like to try your hand in a game of carrom whilst waiting for your food, it’s free! Definitely try and return one more time. Thanks for the wonderful service.

So I recently visited this place owned by a friend and her family(update-I’ve gone there twice now). Its beautiful when you see the entire family work together. Im going to talk about Ambiance, Food and Service. 1 Ambiance: The place is very warm and welcoming and there’s enough of seating to accommodate a huge group. If you are coming in a group it is recommended to reserve a table so that you don’t have to wait. 2 Food: We tried the chicken lollipops, beef crispy, beef chilli fry, pork chilli fry, beef salt and pepper and stuffed mushrooms. All of them were on point. I normally do not like chicken lollipops, because the chicken is always undercooked at most places but when I took a bite of that lollipop I was stunned, the batter was crispy and the chicken inside was cooked to the bone the Schezwan sauce was spicy. Every time I ordered the lollipop the taste and consistency was the same. The rest of the dishes were a mouth full of flavours. 3 Service: This is the most important thing in place even if the place and the food are good a place can fall apart if the service is bad. We were a group of 12 the whole place was packed but not once did we have to wait the food, ice, drinks mixers everything ordered was delivered fast. Ambiance 5/5 Food 5/5 Service 5/5 Final verdict: It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming. Amazing food and service.Even now while writing this review I’m longing to go back there, do yourself a huge favour and visit this place.

I was exited to come to this place. Food quality was poor and very expensive.. How can you price old monk 60 ml for 180 in goa when whole bottle itself is 220..only food i liked was green salad.. Fries where burnt.. Butter garlic squids butter garlic was good not squids( too rubberry)..

Peter Tavern is an average bar that serves food and liquor. The atmosphere seems a bit unpleasant when it gets crowded. The place otherwise is just okay. The food is not as good as it once was. They served really good starters but not anymore. Drinks are expensive. One of the owners was rude and only wanted certain set of people in the bar. The other staff seemed welcoming. The parking is unorganised and had to park on the roadside, almost blocking the entryway to a house(It’s probably the owners house that is adjacent so the owner didn’t have a problem) Try Bar Coldrinks which is in the same area.

The place has totally changed with regards to their food and pricing. Been here 2-3 times in the past, and the food was amazing and worth the price, but this time the food didn't taste anything like before, and the pricing was over the top. Not worth it. Totally disappointed.
