I’m obsessed so let’s talk about why! Atlanta is a hub for black excellence by way of black owned businesses. So when i find one they gotta run me outta the joint. Peter’s street is no different. But they’ve done their thing as far as ambiance and culture. Let’s talk about it. I’ve never been to a place that offered hooch and a good book until i visited this speakeasy. There’s a bookshelf that makes up the farthest wall. Yes, books and booze! But why read when there’s live music ranging from Gnarles Barkley to little Richey. The red brick walls and hanging ivy plants are such a date night vibe when combined with the live music and close seating. Want a Love Jones vibe.. this is it! But the best part about the place is the museum in the back. Black artists. Local showings. It’s so beautiful. Grace the bartender is a moment. Tell her Zaire sent you.

Wednesdays they have a jam session that goes into the night. A beautiful way to experience Atlanta nightlife! drinks provided by Gilly brew bar. And a curated art gallery in the back! If you play an instrument, sing, or just enjoy listening to music this place is for you. entrance fee but if you stay for even a minute it’ll be worth it.

This place is special and unique! The staff is like family and this is a place where love, positive vibes and great energy reside. They host events on a weekly and monthly basis that are for the community. Everyone is welcome regardless of background, outfit or social status. The pictures below show off the unique space that allows for a group chat as well as sidebar conversations. Please check the social media links for events and times to come experience one of Atlanta’s best kept secrets. There is also a hidden art gallery where in house artists and guests display their work! I dare you to come out for a Wednesday night jam session and you will be hooked. Special thanks to Miya Bailey, Mr Q, Petie Parker, Andrew Bloom, Jaymee, Redd, EJ and Jahnovaa for flashing a smile, sharing a fist bump or dropping jewels to make me better. Special thanks to my brothers Daniel and Alphonso!

It’s a very unique and welcome space. Mondays are poetry nights and Wednesdays nights are great for musicians. Beware of the guys working the streets who may try and scam you into paying for parking. Do not pay them

Peter Street Station has a complete cultural vibe. The staff are amazing. My tattoo experience with Miya Bailey was top tier. The space is beautifully curated. It's an art gallery, a live performance space, a tattoo artist studio, a pottery space, and so on and so on. If you have never been to a Wednesday night Jam session, you should go. You will not be disappointed. 10/10 would recommend!!
