Very cute window service restaurant!! There is no seating, it’s take out only. A friend and I split a medium portion of chicken coxinhas and a guaraná, the perfect combination and it really hit the spot as a Brazilian. Great service. Matheus, behind the counter was so nice. I can’t wait to come back.

Growing up with this, my godmother & sister always treated me to these amazing treats, I first found them a few years ago at the smorgasburg so I was so happy to see something I grew up eating. The empanadas were so crunchy and flavorful, we got half cheese and half spinach coxinha, and OfCourse the churros!

Delicious, fresh Coxinhas. The spinach had an amazing cheese pull, the pic doesn’t do it justice! I had spinach and chicken, and I will be back to try all the other flavors. The staff was very friendly and was happy to answer all my questions and give recommendations for my first time there. Also I don’t know what the green sauce was but it was amazing😋

I really enjoyed the cheese pastel cheese coxinha. They are the authentic and tasty pastries. Just a little disappointed about brigadeiro, which is my favorite treat. I’ve tried the tradicional, coconut and both texture were a kind of hard. Brigadeiro usually has a softy texture. Also did not like the fact that everything must be to go since you don’t have acess to the store 🤷🏻‍♀️Order through the window. Since we are not at the pandemic it make no sense. I recommend the pastries.

I tried this place at the Bryant Park Winter Village. I had the chicken coxinha, it was so good! It brought a sauce that took the dish to another level. Now that I’ve seen there are multiple locations here in Brooklyn definitely visiting. The starts for atmosphere were because the winter village was crowded insanely! I’ve tried this dish before from an authentic Brazilian home, and the ones I tried here lived up to it. You should give it a try!

I felt good energy in this restaurant from the moment I walked in. The staff's care makes this place stand out. The place sits in a prime spot. Every dish I've tried has been excellent. Every aspect of our meal was pleasurable.

The restaurant manages to excel at everything important. The experience at Petisco Brazuca | Bed-Stuy was worth every penny! Each flavor melted away while I attempted to memorize it. Impressive service conduct. I return to this place often.

Lighter low filled empanadas. You don’t mind they’re barely filled because they are airy and light and the outer shell is sooooo delicious, full of flavor! Had these at a Christmas market at Columbia Circle

This is a walk up window only to order to go. No seating. I love this place. I always get a large order of chicken coxchina's! Delicious! I wish they were on Uber eats.

I wanted a quick bite and ran into this cute shop! I ordered a small order of mixed coxinha of chicken and yucca. If you place an order the limit is two kinds. Both were good. The wait for your order is typically 5 minutes.

Yum! I'm so glad I tried this place out! The workers are nice, food is made fresh to order. You can order a small, medium, or large. The small comes with 6 and you can choose up to 8 flavors. It comes with 2 dipping sauces, a ranch and a sweet chili sauce. I got the cheese and the kielbasa. Cheese was good, the kielbasa was mainly cheese with barely any kielbasa. It also had a little kick to it. I def would come back to try the other flavors!

Wanted to love this but it wasnt full of meat like I wouldve hoped. The do have sauces and they are vegan as well We tried the sweet and sour and the cilantro type one I would def give this place another chance because the flavor was there...

I stopped by here today, I got the Cheese, Margerita and Chicken Coxinha. I wanted to give this place a 3.5. The cheese one: Awesome, Nice gooey cheese. Margerita: It was ok, I barely tasted any tomato and tasted no basil. It was just a weird sauce. Chicken: It stunk, it was dry and gross. If you go there, save your money and get only the mozzarella one.

I couldn't find the Dekalb Market location, so I am writing this review on this location. I have tried the traditional Coxinha with a mix and match between cheese and chicken. The cheese one was so good, I love it; the chicken one was good but it felt a little dry, it would have been better if the chicken was mixed with cheese or some sauce to have a better kick.

This is a fun place! We got the mixed coxinhas with the chicken and kielbasa flavors. They were tasty but the chicken was a little dry. Overall a fun place to try and I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the price. It's just too expensive for what's essentially a snack. This won't fill you up and you're out almost $20. Still fun to try!

For $15 we got a combination of ten coxinha-- Three cheese, three margarita, four chicken. They were great! Small but flavorful. A bit too much dough and not enough of the main insides but overall a really good snack to tide me over before dinner. Super easy to eat and come with a great dipping sauce. The margarita was my favorite. Overall really cute and worth it for on-the-go eating! (This was bought at the Bryant park holiday market)

My friends and I ordered from here for delivery for a little gathering. The staff who answered the phone and the delivery guy were both very friendly and accommodating. I am not Brazilian, but my friends who are says their stuff are authentic! I can only judge on the taste of the food, delicious! We ordered chicken coxinha (chicken croquette), cheese coxinha, cheese bread, Pistachio brigadeiro and chocolate brigaderio (which is like a truffle made with condensed milk). Everything was so good we couldn't stop ourselves from eating it. Everything was very flavorful. The cheese bread was perfectly soft on the inside. Coxinhas were crunchy on the outside and had the right proportion of everything.

the pão de queijo is soooo good! it's a proper recipe and taste authentic. i love that it's close by and easy to pick up my order from the window!

Wow wow wow We loved the kielbasa, spinach and dulce de leche! Don't wait order now! They deliver over the weekends right to your door

I bought a portion of 10 coxinhas for $17 and it was disappointing. The coxinha was mostly dough with a little dot of chicken inside. Then to pay for the sauce extra when last year it was included. The coxinhas were tiny for the price and the amount of fillings. Seems like they want to cut cost but increase profit with disregard in the experience for the customer. The photos they advertise is completely misleading. Im assuming they believe no one would bother saying anything once they have eaten it or notice. I've had their coxinha multiple times in the past couple years and I always hope for something better but its always disappointing when i bite into it. This time was the last time due to the price and now having to pay $1 for a tiny sauce when it was included previously. Like come on. Wish i had taken a photo to showcase it. I make myself coxinhas all the time and have had it elsewhere with better portions. Update: they were nice enough to reach out and offer a refund, i do hope they take my feedback and make improvements

Let's start with the good. The stuffed churros are to die for. Very delicious. The lady serving the food was so miserable made me want to walk away. If you don't like you job quit. The location is great if you want a variety of choices to choose from. Now the bad. The Brazilian style empanadas was the most disgusting empanada I ever tasted. Literally cooked ground beef added a pinch of salt and that's it.. spent $30 for stuffed churro and 4 horrible EMPANADAS never again.

I absolutely love coxinhas and never pass up on a chance when I find new Brazilian restaurants. We tried this stall at smorgasburg prospect park in a late afternoon. They were out of the chicken. So got a 10pc coxinha with half chicken and half cheese. Both were absolutely delicious with Margherita the most popular among my group. The crust was perfectly warm and smooth and you can get a nice bite into it. We also got the churro balls and they were spectacular. Sorta unexpected win. Overall love this place and coming back regularly

Their empanadas were 10 for 2 and I basically paid for dough lol.. barley and substance to it. Only reason why it's 2 stars is the guy at the counter was nice. Otherwise 1 star

Empanadas EMPTY, you pay for dough. Churros empty, no enough dulce de leche. Coxinhas refried. This place is overrated, I do not recommend.

You ever ate something and you close your eyes because it's so good . I got the churros from here and I wanted to cry . The churros were freshly made when I got home and bit into it ,It was so warm and the dulce de leche in the middle just oozes out and the dough for the churro was perfectly crunchy on the outside and so soft and beautiful on the inside . You get 6 for 6 bucks that's a small. It was worth every bite. Like I said I could have cried at how good . I will def be back !!!

I was craving a coxinha but New York doesn't have many Brazilian spots so I found this gem . I will say , I do find it odd that they are small balls instead of the big ones ,bakery's in Nj sell. i found that because the balls were small I didn't really get to enjoy the cream cheese like I do most. I'll probably travel to Nj for my coxinha crave next time . Over all they were pretty decent . And price wasn't anything crazy.

Never have I had a good experience with this place. Just waited 20 minutes for 4 pastel which you are already ready just have to fry them meanwhile people that arrived after me got their orders already finally after getting my order they can me the wrong flavors. Everytime it is something the food isn't even that great I am Brazilian my self I definitely had better else where poor service poor food. Ridiculous.

Gave them a 2 rating for their place being very clean,went inside 8/13/21 around 1:40pm the young lady closed the door to the kitchen,I asked her what kind empanadas they have she didn't answer she just told me to scan the bar code and the menu would pop up,I asked was I able to mix up my order because I wanted the 4 large ones she said yes,she wasn't really friendly never smiled at me it was almost like she really wish I didn't come in the restaurant,usually I would walk out when I feel like I'm being mistreated but I wanted to wait and see how she treated the people behind me,I gave her my money,she placed my change and receipt on the counter stood there and waited once the people behind me started ordering they spoke in the same language,she had a big smile on her face very talkative with them I was like ok...I guess I was right,when she gave me my order she placed the bag down on the counter and said thank you in a whatever kind of way,I just walked out and said I would never come here again,my business was not wanted and I see yelp allow them to remove their bad reviews which isn't good people should no everything about this restaurant not just the good parts...the chicken empanadas was good but the beef was not...I took pictures of my order because thats what I do with every restaurant I order from...

Nice and clean spot, fresh and hot food. I like the idea, it's simple yet delicious. I got Nutella and cheese filling, both were good. However, drink options are not great (water or coke). Worth a try anyways and fair serving for the price!

Very friendly service however the portion was incredibly small. The fruit wasn't quite ripe and the acai was still frozen. I get that it was smorgasburg but I still think it could have been better. Maybe their physical location will be better

I have ordered from Petisco Brazuca maybe two years ago but today I decided to visit the physical store. Everything is very cute and neat. The portions are very good for the price. I ordered a little bit of everything: cheese and kielbasa coxinhas, dulce de leche churrors, brigadeiros, pão de queijo, and cheese pastel. Their coxinhas are so well made, it's unbelievable. The cheese coxinha is perfection and unlike many coxinhas I have tried from other places, not salty. The mini churros are delicious. The pastel reminded me of pastel de feira from São Paulo. The dough has similar taste and I was surprised. Brazilians can tell the difference between a regular fries empanada and pastel de feira. Their pastel is closer to pastel de feira and for me this is a huge plus. My son and I devoured the pães de queijo on our way home. They are so good...Then when we think it's over, it's time for dessert. Petisco Brazuca brigadeiros are the best I've ever had in NYC. It tastes like brigadeiros I used to have in a traditional Brazilian kid's birthday. I had one in the store just to try and end up bringing 18 home (I ordered 15 but they gave me 18.) I have not tried the carrot cake yet but I know I will love it.

I've never tried coxinhna before today and the kielbasa few I just had were delicious! I'm excited to introduce my friends to the snack and try them all. I'm worried about this place though, because snacks are all they have. There are no entree type items and I'm not sure how often I'll be down to venture out and grab something I don't consider a meal. I'd be be way more likely to split an order of coxinha's as an appetizer. Or if it was a cocktail bar offering these amazing bites alongside drinks. The current offering seems better suited to a food festival or area with very high foot traffic. I wish them well and will definitely be back for more. They're sticking to what they do best and I hope that's enough for success. I'd need to pair snacks with something else to be as good of a customer as I'd like to be though. Give it a try, you won't regret!

Amazing coxinhas. Very authentic and super delicious. If you've never had a Brazilian coxinha, it's basically a deep fried ball of potato dough with different fillings: chicken, beef, cheese (my favorite), spinach (also really good). They also have pasteis, which are Brazilian empanadas. You can choose between cheese and ground beef filling. These taste just like the ones I remember wasting as a kid. So good! Another thing you must try, if you've never had one, is the chocolate brigadeiro. This is a dessert served at every birthday party in Brazil. They are little truffles made with chocolate and sweet condensed milk. The only item in the menu I'm not too excited about is the cheese bread. Probably OK if you've never had it before, but I've had better. Regardless, it's definitely a place you should check out. Fabulous snacks!

I was born in Brasil so this place is honestly amazing!!!!!!! I bought cheese pastel it was Beyond great!! I was really surprised they used ' queijo mineiro' it made the experience 100 times better than I thought it would be. I also ordered chicken coxinha. Amazing! It was an overwhelming with though it was just perfect. Even if you eat slow everything stayed so hot! The staff was so nice. Spoke English and Portuguese. I will 100% be coming back. OH AND YOU CANT FORGET TO BUY Guaraná!!! The best soda in Brasil!

I ordered around 2:20pm, it's now 6:10pm and I'm still waiting for the food. This is the second time that happens. I don't think will be a third time.

If I could give this place zero stars I would but unfortunately I can't. the food here is horrible no FLAVOR whatsoever and why would you give a asian sweet and sour sauce for a coxinha? for fifteen dollars it should've been flavorful not tasteless. this place is highly overrated and overpriced.I do NOT recommend!

Our new favorite place! We've been waiting so long for something Brazilian to open closer to us here in Brooklyn and this is it. Great to have a taste of home right around the corner at a great price and quality!

As a brazilian living in NYC for almost 14 years, eating here reminds me of my childhood, coxinhas and croquettes are one of the best fingers food you can have from Brazil and This place does it with a touch that makes everything taste amazing.

Food was delivered at the exactly time asked for. I ordered coxinhas and bolinhos de bacalhau. Coxinhas were delicious, bolinhos were pretty salty Overall great experience and we will for sure order again the coxinhas.

This place is a hidden gem, it's been so close to my workplace all this time and I never knew it existed (wiping a tear for all the wasted meals at nearby diners). Great service, pretty quick, very clean and most of all delicious! I can easily see it as my new once a week treat.

Petisco Brazuca you are most certainly incredible, I had a spectacular experience here yesterday. What a cute place. Every thing was very delightful and I can't wait to go back already. They are very clean and the staff were very welcoming. Why would you want to go anywhere else besides Petisco Brazuca?

I'm from south Florida where they have these mini coxinhas and it's far better. But since your in Brooklyn you're very limited to Brazilian goodies so I guess this will do. Super friendly staff.

Sooo good! I started order there now they are delivering in Manhattan and I just cant stop, everything I ever ordered from there was super tasty!

This review is for their products tried at Smorgasburg: the coxinhas are small but very fresh and flavorful. They taste homemade, it is as if I were at an aunt's house in my home country. My husband got us the variety "pack". They were all fried to order. The OG flavor, chicken, was my favorite, although the cheese version was amazing too. They do offer a sweet version with dulce de leche, which surprised me in a very positive way. It is like a little ball of happiness which resembles a churro ball. They also had a passion fruit juice that instantly transported me to my grandma's house. So delicious! I could drink a gallon of that. Extra points: the staff was very friendly!

I haven't been to this location yet, but I stopped by their stand at Smorgasburg today. Unfortunately, my expectations were far from being met. The dough on the coxinhas was dry and flavorless, as well as the chicken that didn't have that usual reddish color that comes from seasoning. I don't know if they'd be any better at their store - guess I'll have to try it at some point.

The coxinhas can be better! The dough is on the thicker side. But everything else I tried was delicious. Their fish croquettes is the real deal!! I am dying to try the carrot cake as well. Delivery is quite fast too.

I've ordered a delivery and the time frame was 1 hour. They came after the time frame plus 40 minutes delayed!!!!! I was so disappointed and I also called more than 10 times and no one pick up my phone - it was on work hour I do not recommend delivery from there. No response and no commitment with clients. ****** I did not receive any refund as mentioned on my reply.

My new favorite brazilian place in town. Everything is delicious and fresh. The açaí is the best I ever tried in NY. Is not too sweet, and the taste is amazing like in Brazil. Also the coxinhas, kibes and cheese bread are delicious. All the staff are nice and friendly. Of course I'll be back soon.

My favorite place ever! I can honestly eat coxhinas forever. I recommend the cheese ones! Fantastic taste if you like cheesy and fried good doUgh. IVe left these for the next day and when it's cold you can really taste the potato dough but pop in the oven and it's as good as the day before!

It's ok. I ate better coxinhas in Brazil . It's not real coxinha. It's ok! Flavor is fine. But the price is pretty high. In Brasil u pay only 1 Dólar for 1 huge coxinha. Here is luxury and there coxinha is for poor people. They should mark the price down.

A cute different food spot in a non heavy traffic area of Brooklyn. A clean new fresh breeze of air to the neighborhood. The male staff are very nice & friendly. Stools & counter food areas are available for eating with a backyard. Now the food, for my 1st time l tried the Chicken Coxinhas. Very tasty l was also given a sample of the cheese bread balls & 1 piece of chocolate candy from the counter. Juice, soda & fruit parfaits are sold. I will try the sausage & cheese the next time. The food is served in small cup containers. 6 Chicken Coxinhas for $6. I think the food amount is too small. 10 piece for $6 would be nice, people really would like to see more food. A go to spot when you want just something to nibble on. More menu items would have merited 5 stars.
