"Pez Loco is a Wynwood Mexican restaurant located in a secluded complex slightly hidden from the Wynwood nightclub chaos. The cocktails are good but the menu is a bit hit-or-miss. The smoke flavor in the smoked pineapple is overpowering and certain portion sizes mean you'll inevitably be flagging down a server to request more tostadas for your salsa. Still, there are some tasty things to eat here, like a lightly-fried chili relleno stuffed with a mix of queso, leek, and a sauce made from pine nuts, celery root, and bell pepper. The autumn duck, which comes with a very good (and big) housemade tortilla, is a bit hard to navigate on the plate, but if you spend a few minutes carving it up you'll be rewarded with a satisfying DIY duck taco situation. There are better special occasion spots in Wynwood, but keep this place in mind as a last-minute walk-in option, or for drinks and a snack at the bar. " - Ryan Pfeffer

I came here for dinner and really enjoyed it! Everything was cooked so well, and you could tell that they’re usually really high quality ingredients. My favorite dishes of the night were the Scallops, the Quesabirria, and the Baked Miami. They were all really flavorful and delicious! The scallops were cooked so well (which I believe is hard to do)! The decor and vibe inside are really nice, too. The server we had was nice and gave us lots of suggestions. It did take a while to get our drinks and appetizer(chips and salsa), but it was worth the wait. Everything here is a bit pricy, but the high quality makes up for it! I definitely recommend checking them out.

amazing Mexican flavours, creative flavor/technique combinations and expressive robust in colour presentations! My personal favourite part is that there’s not an intense amount of spice as most Mexican dishes do. I can’t take spice well and this is something I’ve to deal with when eating cuisines that are spiced up by nature, so it was a pleasant surprise to enjoy those Mexican flavours I’ve struggled to find in Miami and not suffer in the attempt. I’m a picky cocktail drinker and my server was super understanding and accommodating. He was very nice as well. I really appreciated him and my experience with the restaurant The vibe and decor is beautifully pleasant and you’re getting a nice restaurant atmosphere in the middle of Wynwood which is rare. Totally recommend. Props to chef de cuisine and executive 👏🏻 recommendations: Brussels sprouts, seeet potato tamale (don’t even blink twice before ordering it), the birria tacos and banana crème brûlée!

Don’t miss the #Wagyu Brisket #Birria Quesadillas, Baby Back Ribs, & Rice Roe at @pezlocomiami 🤤 Take your tastebuds on a bold adventure this weekend at the Wynwood Jungle. You’ll be pleasantly surprised with their array of creative & craft #Tequila & #Mezcal cocktails as well as their Mar, Tierra, & Carne options. For a refreshing plate, the Beets & Watermelon as well as the Tepache Carrot Salad were definite standouts. The Seared scallops with the Esquites Miso corn sauce was also out of this world. There are plenty of #glutenfree friendly modifications on the menu as well! Check out Munch Miami on Instagram for more

Pez Loco was a great dining restaurant. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and provided great recommendations. The Pez Loco Sangria was aesthetically pleasing and very tasty. I had the Wagyu Brisket Queso Birria that tasted even better after using the lime and consommé. The flavors were very delicious! The Copal is upstairs and is a lounge with music and a full bar. The energy and atmosphere were so great, I can’t wait to go back!

Indulging in West Coast Mexico flavors at Pez Loco Miami Restaurant was an absolute delight! From start to finish, my dining experience was filled with culinary marvels that left me speechless. The commitment to quality and attention to detail at Pez Loco is truly commendable. Each dish presented the finest ingredients and flavors that transported me to the vibrant streets of Mexico. The Pez Loco Sangria and Ay Mami Cocktail were the perfect companions, tantalizing my taste buds with their refreshing and expertly balanced profiles. The menu boasts a range of enticing options, but the Shrimp Aguachile stole the show with its invigorating freshness. The Po'Boy Ahogada, featuring crispy fried oysters, was a game-changer that left me obsessed with its explosive combination of flavors. And let's not forget the melt-in-your-mouth Wagyu Brisket Queso Birria and the Pork Belly and Octopus in a green sauce, both of which had me exclaiming "wow" with every bite! The unique and delicious Duck Enmoladas were a must-try, leaving me craving for more. And the desserts... oh, the desserts! From the heavenly Tres Leches with its delightful textures and pineapple pieces to the perfect combination of Baked Miami Key Lime Curd with meringue smoked marshmallow and ice cream on top, and the delightful Jericalla with bananas and crunchy sugar, my taste buds were taken on an unforgettable journey. Pez Loco Miami truly exemplifies the pinnacle of culinary excellence. The dedication to flavor, presentation, and overall dining experience is unparalleled. With each bite, I could envision Pez Loco earning a coveted Michelin star. The passion and creativity of the culinary team are evident, and I have no doubt that this restaurant is on the right path to achieving this prestigious recognition. Prepare to fall in love with Pez Loco - where flavors come alive and culinary dreams are realized. A potential Michelin star awaits this remarkable establishment!

This place was pretty neat, and in a cool area of Wynwood. The Beets & Watermelon (pic below) and Crispy Brussels were definitely the highlight...delicious. Our server was a pretty cool guy, but he could have been a bit more attentive tho. Not a big deal, but noticeable. I.e. Not asking if we wanted new drinks, taking a long time to clear plates off, and the restaurant wasn't full by any means. There is a lot more to explore on the menu. Can get pricy if you start throwing in drinks and parking if you drove in.

Finally got a chance to check out this restaurant. Maybe I was a little bitter that they shut down no.3 social, but I think we've found a worthy replacement. For drinks, I love the tequila forward menu, plenty of options and the two cocktails we tried did not disappoint; well balanced and garnished nicely. The food was excellent. Guac and chips were different but still solid. Started with the duck enmoladas and we experienced a new realm of flavors, so tasty! But then tried the wagyu brisket queso birria and wow! Some of the best tacos I've had! Service was great! They were very accommodating with providing a full menu on the rooftop, bringing my dog water without asking, and ensuring the food was gluten free. Will definitely add this to our local restaurant rotation!

Google
Horrible. Absolutely horrible. We were a party of 8. Every single dish was either burnt or over cooked. If only one dish had been bad, that would have been ok. But every single dish? The scallops were the worst of them; completely burnt, and they still served them to us. The service was slow; they would never check on our table even though we were one of just two occupied tables at the restaurant. I wonder why, on a Friday night at 7pm, the restaurant was completely empty. The pasta dish was overcooked, the chicken dish was burnt, the duck dish was dry and salty, the guacamole was watery and brown. Every single dish was bad. I’m never coming back here, and I’m making sure nobody in my network will ever dine here.

Yelp
I was here last night at the rooftop. There was a girl bartender there and I don't know what's goin on with her but she was incredibly rude I feel. She does not greet or say anything to you. She just looks at you. The bouncer is a lot friendlier compared to her. She's bad vibes. The was another guy bartending and he was so much better. Also, more importantly, she serves watered down drinks. Whack. Don't go to this place. Go next door to Gramps, better vibes, better music, and so much fun.

Yelp
FOOD: 3 stars SERVICE / HOSPITALITY: 5 stars Came here with a large group of girls for a Bach dinner. I liked my pork belly. It is extremely fatty so be aware. The menu says, "with octopus" but really it's just a few super tiny pieces. The rest of the girls did not like their dish at all hence why 3 stars for food. Portion is a bit small, but the price is fair. I love the open kitchen concept and the interior is beautiful. Although food is just aight, I cannot rave about the service and hospitality enough. Jennifer went above and beyond for our group. From taking orders, continuously checking in, making sure our group is having a good time, and even put some drinks on the house for my Bach celebration! She was literally a whole vibe. She took so many pictures and videos for us, even showed us cute photo spots and how to pose. She showed us the rooftop bar upstairs and even hangout with us for a bit. She literally made our night. Thank you Jennifer!!! YOU ARE AWESOME!

Yelp
Highly recommend the chef's table experience! A delicious 5 course meal prepared right before your eyes. The food was unique and delicious and the ambiance of the place is just lovely. Their cocktails were delicious as well! Will be returning

Yelp
Cute rooftop lounge with live dj and good music. Plenty of fans to set a breezy tone and variety of cocktails to choose from. Didn't get a chance to try out their food but the chips and salsa they provide were tasty - it included three different set of sauces, one being a guac-like texture.

Yelp
Located in an impossibly busy area of the Wynwood neighborhood of Miami, this restaurant is located inside of a very artsy courtyard with a dancing joint above it (I almost wrote disco joint). Great service and excellent if somewhat limited menu. Personally I thought the fresh made tortilla chips, which were technically small tortillas, not chips, were a bit hard, but the guacamole superb. I had the octopus puttanesca, somewhat of an oddity of a menu choice and it was very good. This neighborhood is packed to the gills with mostly young folks and parking is impossible, so be prepared to walk a little after you park, but it's worth it.

Yelp
Went here with a friend a few weeks ago. Service was 5/5 and our waiter was very attentive. Drinks seemed weak and portions of food also small for price. Beautiful interior , great asthetics. There are a lot of amazing restaurants in the area, so there is room for this place to step up it's game with the menu. Highlights: Seared scallops were delicious. Guacamole was not very flavorful but the chips that accompanied were wonderfully spiced.

Yelp
I visited Pez Loco last Saturday with my girlfriend for a girls' brunch. The place is beautiful but it was empty, we were the only table and even that was great it really caught our attention because the restaurant is right behind the Salty Donuts and on your way to Copal (which it's the sister rooftop). We started with some drinks and Miami prices are going a little extra for the drinks. I ordered the Mezing Around which had mezcal, hibiscus, lime, and cucumber so it was really refreshing. Some of my friends ordered the Ay Mami which was good, I think what really got your eye on that drink is the little fire on the drink. Another friend had the Pez Loco Sandria and that one actually was pretty sweet. We ordered guacamole to share and it was really good, the tortillas were super fresh, and the guacamole was creamy. The menu is not really big, you got 3 types of tacos and 3 sandwiches plus some sides and desserts but definitely, its drink menu is extensive. So I ordered the Mushroom Tacos (2 per order), I love when they use oyster mushrooms since their texture is really like "meat-like". It had "spicy crema" on top and that was really good too. The only thing I didn't like was that the tortilla was way too greasy. My friends got the Wagyu Bricket tacos and Pork ones and some of them couldn't even eat the tortilla part of how greasy it was. The drinks were good, a little price but the size wasn't bad. And the food was ok but our service was great!

Mileena S.

Yelp
Im giving this a 2 star due to the food. The menu is a little odd , not much to choose from but the food itself is just okay. Small portions, again they way it is plated and the pairings are strange. The ambience is nice and so is the staff . Service is good too. But we went on a Saturday night and it was completely dead . Drinks were ok but nothing special.

Sara B.

Yelp
Holy moly!!!!! Can't believe how amazing the food is at this place. We got the salsa, tuna crudo, wagyu Birria and sweet potatoe tamale. Wow. I will think about that sweet potatoe for the rest of my life. The inside of the restaurant is absolutely beautiful. The service was phenomenal. Highly reccomend this place for a date or group.

Laura Maria R.

Yelp
We were looking forward to some authentic, Pacific-coast style Mexican seafood. Instead, the menu featured a mish mash of Mexican "inspired" dishes that were a little too experimental to be enjoyable. Also, there was not a whisper of spiciness anywhere. Perhaps a nicely rounded salsa at the table could remedy this. Anyway, the flavors were good, but not what we expected. Oh well.

Hillary I.

Yelp
The staff was very friendly and the drinks were reasonably priced. It was busy when we went so a little difficult to track down a server but very standard for busier hours.

Roman J.

Yelp

Steven W.

Yelp
Food is great, people are better! Frank made the best drinks for me tonight :). The new pork belly dish is amazing, you must try...

Nichole M.

Yelp
My friends and I went here last night and we had a terrible experience. A majority of their foods contain nuts and my friend specifically asked the waitress if the Brussels sprouts had nuts in it because it wasn't indicated on the menu. The waitress told us she would ask. She brought out the Brussels sprouts and was told there were no nuts. My friend ended up having an allergic reaction. It would be one thing if we never mentioned her allergies but we explicitly asked if it contained nuts. Additionally, the food is not worth it, the guac had no flavor and the portion sizes are so small and expensive! Menu is also very limited! Don't recommend

Daniela G.

Yelp
Absolute worst experience. Steer clear of this place. My boyfriend and I made new years reservations, when we arrived not only did they not have our name but they proceeded to seat us at a half booth by the wall for those "without reservations". Part of the new years reservation included a food package, but instead of receiving our food we sat for over an hour without receiving any food. It took us 20mins to simply get water and once we ordered our drinks they were mediocre to say the least. Once the food did arrive all of it was cold, stale and tasteless. Truly awful! Our waitress asked multiple time for an update from the managers/kitchen and never once was given an answer. The managers not once came over to apologize or ask how we were doing. On the contrary, they ignored us and walked by without making eye contact the entire night. Save your money and your time and go anywhere else that's not here. This place doesn't even deserve one star.

Allex V.

Yelp
Our server was attentive and gave helpful suggestions to order. I ended up ordering the rids. They were tender and flavorful.

Keanoush A.

Yelp
It was my first time here this past weekend with my friends, the service was great and the food was even better! Overall great experience and we will definitely be coming again!

Erika A.

Yelp
Place was empty .. waitress took forever to get our order . Was excited to think it will be a nice Mexican fusion restaurant .. not the case .. the food was blah and not attractive at all.. didn't have much choices to pick from ... and the quesadilla was extreme spicy which they didn't let us know in advance. Only had one taco version " mushrooms " and that's it for the taco menu.. also over price . Very disappointing. I will perfer to have gone to Coyo Taco ..

Ana Z.

Yelp
The space is stunning and well decorated (that is where the 2 stars come from). Unfortunately the food is blah, the portions are extremely small and overpriced and the servers are inexperienced. Too bad for a place in such a great area of town.

Jeffrey N.

Yelp
Delicious food and drinks. Service started slow but got much quicker. Fun ambiance in Wynwood Jungle with a nice courtyard outside too.
