P.F. Chang's To-go

Vito welcomed my friend and I with such love and generosity as soon as we entered! It's quite pleasant and considerate of him to note the heat outdoors and ask if we would like a cup of cold water to cool us down while we made our order decisions. He provided us with first-rate service, and the food arrived quickly! Vito makes this a destination worth traveling to for the purposeful, excellent service alone! I would strongly advise anyone to visit this place! And Vito, thank you very much!

Came here for the first time and I have to say, the sesame chicken was totally disappointing. The flavor was off. Rice wasn’t that great. Prices were very high, but that’s to be expected. Probably wont make the trip to come back.

We are from Cali and wanted some PF Changs! We had phenomenal service Mr. Veto was such a gentleman and helped us order. The food was so delicious! Thanks Veto for giving us an amazing experience eating and enjoying our evening in Chicago! We hope to see you again next trip to Chicago.

Veto greeted us like family, answered all of our menu questions and took time with us to make sure we would enjoy our selections. With his recommendation I tried the chicken lettuce wraps that were amazing and perfect selection for me. With so many places lacking in employees and good help I hope you realize what an amazing employee you have. Kudos to Veto and PF Changs!

Ordered thru Uber Eats. That part of it was fine and the delivery guy was fantastic. However the chicken bowl that I got was absolutely disgusting. I was hungry so I picked up the meat and ate that and the edamame was fine, but wow. If you are expecting any sort of quality, go somewhere else. Even the fortune cookies were stale. I was disappointed.

There were clearly tables availalble and we were waiting to be seated, it took a while to be noticed but anyways after we sat down, this waiter Dennis rudely snapped his fingers at us and asked what we wanted. I asked what he recommended and he annoyedly said that he doesn't know what we would like and we can go somewhere else to eat if we're going to waste his time.

Complete and total rip off. We ordered for the office and I got the beef and broccoli ($20). I should have taken the pic before and after ate just the beef and broccoli, but I would say there were 5 pieces of beef and maybe 4 pieces of broccoli. The bowl was full of just rice. Total scam. Maybe $1 worth of beef and broccoli if I'm being kind, and $1 worth of rice. $18 of profit for this order for the store. Never ever order from here, so many better choices in the area.

When it comes to customer service, Vito truly stands out. I ordered Mongolian beef through the Uber Eats app, but there wasn't an option to specify the temperature. I called the restaurant, and Vito answered right away. He was incredibly responsive, ensuring my meal was prepared exactly as I preferred, and he was friendly and welcoming throughout

Food now tastes like it's fake or processed. To go portions are smaller than eating in the restaurant. Large Wonton soup was small and expensive barely enough for 2. Over $16. Chicken tasted rubbery and fake. Tofu in Mapo Tofu was like eating rubber dice. Never eat there again. Over priced...Processed food. Nothing fresh. Yuk! Used to be good food at a reasonable price.

I recently moved downtown from the north side of Chicago where we have some great Asian restaurants so I suspect my experience with the many good places on Argyle have clouded this review of PF Chang;s, but here we go: this was just not good - on any measurement. The food was tasteless for lack of a better word. We ordered the "signature" chicken lettuce wraps. That was okay - the chicken was in a thickish black sauce, but okay. that is more than I can say for the Chicken fried rice, and the Mongolian Chicken. The edamame was cold and without flavoring (even though I took care to not order the saltless version). I'm confident there are some better downtown places to check out. Otherwise, it's a drive to the south or northside! The delivery was fast! That's a good thing. The driver was pleasant too, as was the online ordering. So I'll end on those strong features.

Not bad. I've been to these restaurants dozens of times. And hadn't gotten it in awhile. So tried delivery service and was surprised that it wasn't quite what I expected. Ordered for my wife, 9 year old and I. Enjoyed it ok. I feel like I need to dial in what I get here more in the future. I wouldn't get the Spicy Chicken again. It's just too tangy and doesn't really hit right for me. But that might just be my personal preference. I think all 3 of us liked the Beef and Broccoli. But my wife and daughter didn't enjoy the crab wontons. Chicken fried rice was fine. But the real problem is that the price is really at a premium. I know, I know, inflation. But we have plenty of neighborhood spots with similar food nearby that are a lot less and I get food of similar quality but much better taste. So it's going to be tough justifying another order here in the future.

we ordered the Gathering catering package and the vegetable spring rolls weren't even edible. They had a strong medicinal/antiseptic taste to them. We have 15 people who unanimously agreed to this. The crab wontons were very fishy tasting. There was nothing creamy about them and there also was no spicy plum sauce. The main dishes weren't bad and the chicken lettuce wraps were a hit. For charging over $400 though to feed 15 people, the quality and the quantity was NOT worth it to me. The appetizers were so unappetizing that we had to throw them away.

Back in the day I visited P.F. Chang on a regular basis and the food was always fresh and DELICIOUS!! Last night I was craving vegetable fried rice from my back then favorite restaurant, P.F. Chang. OMG I was so DISAPPOINTED I wanted to cry! I ordered from the pick up on Hubbard in Chicago, the spring rolls tasted horrible greasy and packed with black pepper? I ended up throwing them out the window in disgust maybe some hungry animal would enjoy them. When I got home I opened up my main course the veggie fried rice with shrimp, SMH once again disappointed! The rice was crunchy, no flavor and the shrimp was battered and fried, since when do they do that? My 34.00 gone down the drain so disappointed in P.F. Chang! My advice don't waste your time or your money!!

Wow, this was really an embarrassment for a place that used to be considered high end. I have been to the restaurant back in the day, before it was a chain, and it was a nice, gourmet place. This food - whoa. We ordered delivery, expecting a great experience, having a long day and willing to spend the money. The only nice thing I have to say is that their packaging is beautiful; branded, large, fancy. Too bad they don't put hardly any food in those giant containers, ha ha. The entrees are all between $20 - $30 and for that price, you get about 8 ounces of food. The pot stickers ($15 for 6 pcs) were bland, soggy and gross. The entrees (we got honey chicken, mongolian beef and broccoli beef) were so scantily portioned that by the time they arrived, each container looked like someone had already eaten most of it. We paid about $130 for 3 entrees and one inedible appetizer and honestly, I will never go back to this place. I understand meat is expensive but geez, throw in a few pieces of veggies to make the dish at least look substantial. The broccoli beef had 4 pieces of broccoli. 4. ?????????? I ate mine but my boyfriend and the child we were babysitting threw theirs away. The mongolian beef was the only thing that was tasty. The rest was literal trash.

Food was awful no comparison to the restaurants same prices but not the same quality the fried rice looked like white rice with no flavor and the Mongolian beef wasn't flavorful had no season and the chicken dish was mostly peanuts

The food from here was nothing like going to PF Chang's. We got the Mongolian Beef, the crispy honey chicken and the crispy honey shrimp. The beef was very over cooked, the shrimp seemed like they dipped the shrimp in some batter and then threw it in the deep fryer. The food was so bad we didn't eat much of it and then threw the rest of it in the trash because nobody wanted it. The kicked was we paid $90 for three entrees. I dont know if I could have rated this place zero stars, but that's what it deserves.

This review is for the P.F. Chang's carryout on Hubbard Street in Chicago. The Kung Pao chicken was terrible, the rice hard, no sauce on the dish and very few peanuts. The potstickers were tasteless. I once had a meal at the P.F. Chang's in Orland Park that was wonderful. The quality of the meal served is terribly diminished.

I picked up a family meal here once and the portions were pretty good! However, I recently picked up Mongolian beef with fried rice and dynamite shrimp - the portions were laughable! The fried rice was an extra $3 and it looked like most was already eaten, hardly anything there! And what is that ball of rice? My last time picking up from here.

If I could give you ZERO stars, I would. The sesame chicken was dry and the Mongolian beef had absolutely no sauce on it. The broccoli was not cut up at all, in fact, it was larger than my hand. The service is terrible and I cannot believe that P.F Changs allows this. Waste of my $60. You. Suck.

I ordered from here the other day and when delivered I couldn't help but to notice the rice was not full cooked. It has a bit of a crunchy texture to it that wasn't pleasant to eat. For the price of the food, I'd expect something as simple as the rice to be fully cooked. Otherwise my meal was enjoyable.

Not only was this the most expensive Chinese food I've had, but also the worst. I didn't think it was possible to ruin crab rangoons but somehow they did. The lo-mein was dry and flavorless. The chicken was ridiculously over cooked. What ever you do, don't go here.

Scrolled through the menu and ordered a few items for my lady and friend and I to enjoy while watching Sunday Night Football on NBC. Was really looking forward to eating them spare ribs. Except the spare ribs were MISSING. Honestly not sure what Mark Davis sees in this place. 5 stars

The reviews are correct. This is very disappointing. I have been to PF Cheng's restaurants and they are much better. This is a fast food version that doesn't work. The wait was long, the menus is limited, food is dry with no flavor. Spring rolls were chalky with no taste. Rice was dry and hard. I would avoid this place and opt for real Chinese takeout.

Really, really good Chinese in River North. Maybe the ONLY decent Chinese in River North. Convenient takeout on W. Hubbard around the corner from me. Had heard bad reports, but I ignored these and gave it a shot. Little pricy but well worth it if you have the ich for Chinese food on a Sunday afternoon in River North. Fresh and very tasty. Great egg rolls and fried wantons. Great everything. Last Chang's I went to was about 15 years ago in Scottsdale. Never went to the full restaurant here, but glad they have this takeout operation. (Really miss the Chinese restaurant that was in the bottom of Old Crow across the street-now that was the best in the city).

I have to agree with all of these reviews. I have also clicked the button for things like extra broccoli in my ginger chicken and received no extra. The taste of the food is not as good as it was out of their large restaurant either, and out of the three times, I ordered the same meal from this location, the food is always different. Also, how if you are going to give me a pick-up time for my order, and I watch it come out of the service window at the designated time, and the food is cold? Like cold soup, cold shrimp dumplings. We have also had burnt egg roles and orders with no fortune cookies. This place is wayyyyy to expensive to be messing up orders and not providing a top tier product. Update; place is still horrible. Avoid at all costs. I think they have 2 people working which leaves 15 people waiting inside many of which don't believe in wearing masks or social distancing. Would you like a side of Covid with your lettuce wrap? Get it here!

Pf Changs is hands down my favorite restaurant. My boyfriend and I choose to eat it rather frequently. Although this is a to go location (and we realize they do not offer a full menu), we were very pleased when this location was placed 3 blocks from our apartment. However, it is quite the disappointment. We have ordered from this location several times now. Each time leaving us pretty disappointed. This last time we decided to order chicken lo mein and chicken fried rice for dinner. The portions were absolutely PITIFUL. They were no bigger than a kids meal order. After receiving our order through door dash and seeing this, I instantly called the store. I am not sure who I spoke with this day, but I explained the situation and the man I talked to apologized for the mix up. He said that if I was still upset he could provide a full refund back to my credit card. I agreed and thanked him for this. Over a month later and I never ended up getting a refund. I paid over $35 for food that was worth about $10. I plan to stick to standard PF Changs locations moving forward. Save your money.

Ordered the crispy honey chicken tonight. What arrived was the most disgusting Asian food I've ever been served. The chicken was fried and battered, but it wasn't "crispy" at all. The batter was floury and greasy to the point the grease stuck in your mouth long after the chicken was gone. The chicken was completely flavorless; I could've made better at home myself with flour, egg and black pepper. There wasn't much rice, either. The "sauce" was some weird citrus concoction with either vinegar or cooking wine. It tasted nothing whatsoever like honey. It had very little flavor, and was very thin. Even the whole portion of it wasn't enough to really flavor their awful food. I've had this dish at other locations, and it hasn't been such trash. I'd have gotten better food at Panda Express, for a fraction of the price. I'm all for supporting restaurants in hard times, but at least try to act like you appreciate my business by serving me decent food.

When I looked this place up to write a review, I laughed when I saw the two-star rating. Sadly, many others seem to already have the same opinion of this place that I do! When the full sit-down P.F. Chang's closed in River North, I was initially bummed but not surprised. As an OG P.F. Chang's fan (dating back over 10 years) , I never thought that particular location lived up to the name. This to-go concept seemed great -- they could focus more on just the food (which elsewhere in the country is awesome!). But after trying P. F. Chang's To Go four times, it seems to be the same subpar food with even higher prices. At first, I blamed growing pains. But now, six months into being open, it seems to just be their norm. Each time, I've received crunchy, cold rice with bland, cold entrees that sometimes haven't been cooked through. There hasn't even been a delivery component involved, so I don't know how things have missed the mark so badly. But when you're paying $20 per entree, P.F Chang's To Go just doesn't deliver quality. Even at half the price, I still wouldn't seek out this place again.

Horrible service. They have curb side available and understaffed. I had to go in after waiting 15 mins on the phone for someOne to answer. One person working! Get it together if your only offering pickup. Horrible!!!!

Before I start, I want to make 100% clear this review is for PF Chang's To-Go and not any for the sit down PF Chang's restaurant. Overall, I was very disappointed. Although disappointing, there are still some positives. First, the staff is very friendly. I was welcomed into the pickup area warmly and the staff was very nice. Second, the pickup area is small, but is it clean and has a nice place to sit while you wait for your food. Third, the food comes out quickly. However, the positives just don't outweigh some major negatives. First, the food is too way too expense for carry out Chinese food. I got an order Mongolian beef with rice, dumplings (4 count) and the gluten free spicy chicken bowl with rice for approximately $48.00. Second, the food is just ok and portions are relatively small. The mediocre nature of the food is disappointing relative to quality of the typical PF Chang's restaurant food. In comparison to any local Chinese the food carry out the food here was not as good and you get lot less of it. Third, the menu is very limited. I ordered this for lunch. The lunch menu was limited to four main dishes, bowls and appetizers. Also, you could not order any of the dinner items for lunch. The overall value wasn't very good because the price is high and the food quality was low. Ordering from your local Chinese carry out place is a way better option, you will likely get more food of equal or better quality for less money. In fact, you would better off going to Panda Express. I would avoid this place, unless significant improves and changes are made.

Used to love Chang's. I've ordered twice from this Chang's to go in downtown Chicago and have ended up throwing the food away. Both times we tried chicken fried rice and chicken lo mein. The chicken in both dishes was completely over fried until it was dried out and inedible. I would guess that they cook up the meat options separately (and overcook) and leave them in a warming tray that further dehydrates them until they toss them into the dish you order where they probably get cooked some more along with the rice, noodles, vegetables, etc. Don't order from here!!!

Interesting concept, horrible execution. This was my experience: - Tried ordering online through their mobile app and website and kept getting an error. I had to go to the restaurant and wait, which defeats the purpose of a "to-go" location. - The prices are the same/very similar to their actual sit down restaurants, so don't expect different prices. The cashier also asks for a tip- obviously I don't mind tipping but when I'm actually going to pick up my food and they only have to hand it to me doesn't make much sense. -When I received my order it was wrong- asked for double meat, got the regular amount. Also asked for chili paste and got none, unfortunately I noticed this once I got home so no chance to ask for some. These may be some initial pains since this place just opened but I won't be going back anytime soon.

It's nothing personal I've always gotten good service. I made a pick up for DoorDash for one of our clients. The gentleman that is working April 18 8 PM was not very friendly did not even acknowledge me I said hello I thanked for handing me food he didn't say a word to me, like I said it's nothing personal towards the restaurant but the person was not very friendly. Need some customer service skills.

For the price of the food, I expect restaurant quality take out. I have been to this PF Chang's a few times now and the last straw was with my order last Friday. I ordered EXTRA broccoli on the Ginger Chicken and received, counted them, 5 florets on this main entree! Also ordered a main entree of fried rice with chicken which was under cooked (rice was still solid in areas), sticky, and greasy. The white rice that came with the Ginger Chicken was also under cooked. Unfortunately this was a special Friday night meal that ended up being a crunch-fest with the rice portion ending up in the trash. What a waste of cash!

Ordered the Chang's Spicy Chicken and steamed brown rice and it was delicious. The service was fast and the staff was very friendly and accommodating to my allergy restrictions. Have lived in this area for a few years now and am really glad there's a new option for lunch to grab something quick and delicious. The portions were great too, especially for the price. WIll definitely be returning soon to try some of the other items on the menu.

What a disgusting and unprofessional service, made the reservation through GrubHub, the delivery time was 815p, called the restaurant directly, spoke to Meghan, the first time I called she said the reservation did not make it through to her tablet, and she is going to prepare everything and send it to the hotel,half an hour later, calling again, same girl picking up, saying the delivery guy just left, half an hour later again, making sure they are coming over same girl promising the guy should be there, and then getting a phone call from her an 1.5 later saying the delivery guy didn't find anyone at the check in counter and left, with out calling us(he doesn't have a phone on him, that's what she said...) and then she changed it to he didn't find anywhere to park... Will never order from you! I had never got this kind of lies and approach from a restaurant

Food is disgusting, took 3 bites and threw it away. Ordered beef and broccoli with fried rice. How are they still in business, charging $21 for this garbage.

We were super horrified to find chewed up gum in our food tonight. Especially during COVID as it suggests that those preparing the food were not wearing masks/following the proper precautions to protect the health of their customers. I've always been a huge P.F. Chang's fan but will not be ordering again after this experience

I tried to order, placed the order and then 10 minutes later I got a notification that it was canceled. Brutal.

We love PF Chang's. Normally. The restaurants are good. We've ordered twice from the to go place now. The food is good, but this last time it came cold. We weren't late either. And the prop who have answered the phone have been, well, reticent? It was like they hated their jobs. When asked if I wanted to add a tip, I wondered "what for?" I think they could do well. But I think their customer service could use a revamp. The food isn't cheap so service should be stellar.

Just a horribly run location. They are way understaffed - waited in the lobby for 5 minutes before someone noticed I was there. The employee was rude, and for one entree it took 40 minutes to prepare. The prices are insanely high for what you get. I'd expect the same type of food that you get at the restaurant, but it seemed like cold, re-heated leftovers. It really just feels like they don't have a good manager overseeing this place which is a shame.

Tried two times, not satisfied with the food. Chicken was very salty and chewy, rice in beef lunch bowl was like porridge.. Not recommend with the price they charged.

Was extremely disappointed by the food here. I have been to the restaurant style PF Chang's multiple times and expected the same quality of food. The rice was very undercooked, the food was cold, and the entree portions were small. This place is too overpriced for the poor quality of food.

I ordered a Honey Shrimp bowl with fried rice and it was absolutely disgusting and basically inedible. The breading on the shrimp was raw in parts and the shrimp were all clustered together in pairs in the raw breading. The rice was dry and it was brown rice not the fried rice I paid $3 extra for. Will never order again. Panda Express is 10x better.

My first time trying the to go location I use to frequent the main restaurant until it closed. I was pretty impressed the Mongolian beef was delicious will definitely give it a try again.

I wish the food quality at the to go location was the same as in a full service PF Chang's. I certainly expected it to be. But I have gotten food from PF Chang's to go on Hubbard St twice and was disappointed both times. The prices are the same, but the food quality and portion size are NOT. I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken. Not spicy at all and the chicken was very overcooked, dry and chewy. The Sesame Beef was ok, a little sweet, no real taste other than that. Last time I waste my money here.

If you expected at the minimum a pei wei replica, you'll be disappointed. The to-go concept is misleading given the price point. And also the 15-20 minute wait time. I came at lunch and ordered the honey chicken bowl expecting it to be similar to what I would get at a PF Chang's. What I got was a large portion of fried chicken with the honey sauce on the side-they don't even wok sear the chicken and sauce together. The experience had me wondering what other short cuts are being taken on the more expensive entree orders that should resemble or be spitting images of the standalone restaurant.

Love this concept. We ordered through Uber Eats, and everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. Our family manages several life-threatening food allergies, and PF Chang's marked and prepared everything safely. This is such an important distinction for us. We usually cannot get anything from takeout - but now we can order from here! Highly recommended. Some of our favorite dishes: gluten free chicken lettuce wraps, gluten free Mongolian beef, gluten free fried rice. But everything has been good from here! And get the sauces, chili paste, hot mustard. So good!
