Shellfish towers and steaks return to Phil’s Italian Steakhouse when it reopens on the Strip - Eater Vegas

"The steakhouse reopens on April 22 with a 24-ounce bone-in rib-eye chop, chicken marsala, and pan-fried branzino. Other classic favorites include whole lobster, crab legs, crab cakes, a shrimp cocktail, and oysters Rockefeller. Shrimp scampi, a filet mignon, and New York strip steak round out the menu at the restaurant named for Treasure Island owner Phil Ruffin. Try a warm skillet chocolate chip cookie with vanilla bean ice cream for dessert." - Susan Stapleton

The second I walked into Phil’s Steak House I was greeted by the most amiable hostess one could encounter. We were seated right away at an aesthetically decorative table. The table setting and ambiance from the rest of the room set the tone for the dinner of a lifetime. Our waitress’s were Lindsey and Maria and the service they both provided was beyond “bare minimum” - it was heartfelt, and friendly like I was being served food at home. Lindsey gave all three of us recommendations on each food item we were considering; she did not have to do that but the fact she did proves to be 5 star service. The food. The food was impeccable and the quality of each item was outstanding. The wagyu was the most flavorful piece of meat I have ever tasted. Even the water was delectable. This meal is one I will remember not only for the rest of my trip, but maybe even the rest of my life. Overall, this experience, hence experience, was one I am sure will not be topped.

Where do I even begin, as soon as i took one bite of the crab cakes with the most perfect sauces you could imagine I knew that this was the best crab cake i’ve ever had maybe even the best appetizer i’ve ever had! Then when I got to the steak I was overwhelmed with the tenderness and unimaginable flavors this steak made me question whether i was in heaven or not, the best crust and flavor i’ve ever had on any steak in my life! The service was so incredible very very welcoming I felt like they were my family members. They provided such fast service and are so kind and all i have to say is perfection. This is the place to go or your missing out in life. And a huge part of my amazing experience were our amazing and lovely serves Lindsey and Maria. Thank you guys so much for our experience we will never forget!

There were 13 of us. It's a mini reunion/birthday celebration. The food was excellent. We were the last ones to leave. Our waiter was ok but needed to be more polished as far as serving. It's a nice steakhouse, after all. We all came from various places... Japan, Hawaii, South Carolina, North Dakota, Oregon, Reno and California. The food was really good and the company was awesome. I highly recommend it. Wish I'd taken more pictures.

Had a night out with a group of friends. What a disappointment. The place was understaffed so everything was very slow. Staff kept apologizing but the evening dragged on. Food was soooooooooooooo over priced. We spent over $650 for 6 people for dinner with one bottle of wine and two mocktails, no appetizers, and five entrees, one salad and three sides. Sides are not included with entrees. We ordered two salads but one was forgetten and taken off the bill. Least expensive entree was a shrimp and linguini that was $49. I had the pork chop for $59 (no sides). One friend had 6 scallops for $62, no sides. The best dish was a salmon that had a mountain of other seafood on top of it for $62. Two friends shared the 12 oz fillet. The salmon, pork, linguini and steak could be split between 2. Linguini was just ok. Steak was lovely. Salmon was quite delicious… very rich. Scallops were ok. Pork was a tad overcooked and way over salted. Would have brought leftovers home but it was too salty to enjoy. The waiter, Mario was charming and did his best. We were seated across from the restroom doors amd right next to kitchen door so got to watch that traffic all night. 😝 The parking and walking into the bowels of the casino were stressful. Overall i would definitely recommend going elsewhere. You can get a much better more pleasant meal for much less money elsewhere.

We usually stay at treasure Island for convenience and the staff. Phil's steak house this trip was dreadful. It was our buddies iconic birthday year and food was slow confusing and cold . Service was executed by one person for our group of 10 , definitely overwhelmed. Phil...your going the wrong direction in quality and service . I'll go where else .thanks 🤙

Good service, food so-so. Expensive for the quality. Also, this is never heard of, they cut my steak in two and charged me $6 for cutting it. Lol, 😂 if I knew they are going to charge me for it, I would cut it myself 😁.

The food at this place is just not up to the price they charge. It’s a very low end quality of steak and seafood. We were willing to let that slide as we wanted to enjoy our evening. So we said nothing. We are not complainers unless it’s worth noting and this is!! The MANAGER of this establishment is the rudest man by far we’ve ever encountered. As we are sipping our last sip of our 175.00 dollar bottle of wine he screams across the restaurant at the top of his lungs we are closing!! Then yells across the restaurant at his staff “ they are all off the clock now!!” We were stunned. Could you not come up to us and politely tell us that? Could you not see it was a sip left? When we came up to you after and said how rude you were you thanked us? You don’t apologize? Just a sarcastic thank you? How on earth did you get hired? Fine dined all over the world and this place was a nightmare. Our 6 day trip to Vegas consisted of 5 steak houses. The show is here so we came to Treasure Island but please do not eat the steak or crab here!! Just aweful!!!
