"Head to Brookland for a taste of Hanoi. The extensive menu at Pho 12 offers just about every possible combination of pho you could dream of, including a fatty brisket option and a seafood version loaded with shrimp, scallops, fish balls, and crab meat. Open for takeout only." - Mekita Rivas, Lisa Ruland

"This quaint family-owned restaurant joined the Brookland dining scene in late 2016, bringing with it nearly two dozen different types of Vietnamese soups. All the featured pho includes choice of meat plus onion, cilantro, bean sprouts, basil, lime and jalapeños. Feeling adventurous? Go all in with the house special (all the meats)." - Lenore Adkins

Great broth, very aromatic no msg. Flavorful egg rolls and spring rolls. They were big rolls in comparison to typical tiny rolls from other pho spots and being charged $4 - $5. They do accept major debit/credit cards, which is convenient since carrying cash is rarely practice. Good customer service with calm atmosphere. Good beer selection too!

Food was delicious and restaurant was very clean. 3 social distance tables inside and a brisk carry out business. Service was quick.

First time trying Phô 12 and I'm glad we did. My wife and I ordered pick up, and this was one of the best to-go experiences we have had all quarantine. The food was hot, and it was fresh. They supply you with everything you need, so even though I had to essentially build my own phô it was just as delicious as if I was served in the restaurant. I was also shocked by the amount of meat they give you - a great value for $10 (large bowl). Now we can't wait to actually eat at the restaurant.

Amazing pho! I had the brisket pho...authentic and delicious. Tried the Vietnamese iced coffee too. Very strong and sweet, just the way I like it. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back.

Ordered to go. Everything was delicious. One of the best Pho places in DC. The broth was delightful well-balanced with a deep beef favor but delicate. Everything was so fresh. The spring rolls were massive and yummy. We ordered pho and also grilled beef vermicelli- it was such a treat. We will be repeat customers at Pho 12!

The best service and food! Awesome pho, steamy broth with high quality ingredients. A great ratio of meat to noodles, and the basil - fresh from the farm. Vietnamese beef stew is another highlight, simply delicious. Spring rolls are also worth trying, so fresh and the sauce is very complimenting. Have been here at least four times and every meal keeps getting better.

Pho in DC tends to be pretty reliable, and this place is no different. About two dozen varieties of soup, most of which are predictably beef-heavy, plus some good appetizers like spring rolls and egg rolls. The atmosphere is a bit bland, and a big TV with the volume up was playing. Not a huge issue for us, but something to note if you're hoping for a more intimate and cozy experience.
