The Best 24-Hour Restaurants in Atlanta | Eater Atlanta

"Who couldn’t use a comforting bowl of hot pho and a pot of tea at 1 a.m.? Pho 24 on Buford Highway is open nearly 24 hours a day for bowls of pho and banh mi sandwiches. The restaurant closes briefly in the early morning to make more pho broth and restock the menu for the day." - Henna Bakshi

Late Night Food in Atlanta | Eater Atlanta

"Who wouldn’t want a little noodle soup after a late night out or after a long evening work shift? Pho 24 has multiple locations around Atlanta and the one in Chamblee, located in a strip mall, closes daily at 6 a.m. The informal Vietnamese noodle shop doesn’t just serve pho. Diners can accompany a big bowl of soup with fried vegetable egg rolls, fresh tofu rolls, or in true Atlanta fashion, chicken wings. There are also plenty of Banh Mi, vermicelli, and rice dish options to choose from." - Eater Staff

Pho 24 - Atlantic Station Review - Atlantic Station - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"Of the nine locations sprinkled throughout Georgia, the Atlantic Station location of this Vietnamese chain is our least favorite. Weary-looking shoppers exhausted from hours of trying on their umpteenth pair of jeans fill the booths of this casual pho place. They’re looking for some type of rejuvenation from tasty bowls of broth, and Pho 24 obliges, for the most part. The broth needs some condiment doctoring and the meat varies between decent and tough. But while the pho is average, the service is speedy, making it an ideal pit stop for shoppers who need a small respite or movie-goers looking to squeeze in a meal before hitting the cinema." - Juli Horsford

Google
The food is great! However the atmosphere could use a little lighten up. It’s a mom and pop so wouldn’t expect much Service is ehh. Food came out quick and hot I got the P16 my husband got fried rice with shrimp and roasted chicken on the side

Google
I come here all the time, they have the most reliable pho I've found in Atlanta, the ladies who run the place are so kind and sincere, and the atmosphere is very low key. This is a spot I have been able to go to at any hour no matter what for years, service has never been subpar despite the number of times I've dined alone- but they also have space to serve larger groups. As an Atlanta local, I absolutely recommend this spot especially as a late night option.

David

Google
This spot is my go-to after a long night of drinking, lol. I always get the beef pho with the grilled pork rolls. The pho broth is always top-tier and extremely flavorful. The meat is so tender and melts in your mouth. I love the grilled pork rolls, and the peanut sauce that comes with them just adds even more flavor.

Google
Truly 24 hours lol. This is legit Pho 24! If youre looking for great food and chill quiet vibes late at night. Highly recommended

Google
We love PHO 24! The Pork Spring Rolls, Banh Mi Sandwich, this original location is great. Staff is friendly and helpful with ordering. Open 24 Hours I think, great late night food!

Google
A good choice among less expensive, mid-range Vietnamese restaurants. This is a large, tidy, friendly restaurant. They called out to me as I entered and walked over with a big smile. That smile and friendliness continued all through the visit. The food was fresh, generous and more flavorful than the other places around here. I had #C5, rice with pork and egg. The pork had a hearty grilled taste. And the egg was tasty too. I also had the fresh shrimp rolls, which are also fresh and tasty. The restrooms are rough. Graffiti. Dents. Needs painting. Doesn't feel clean. And this is early in the day, before crowds. Not a place for your 3rd date. Again, it is easy to eat here with gluten-free and dairy-free meals. I'll be back.

Rat Stix

Google
You’d be surprised how good their food is considering how humble everything looks on the outside. Portions are quite nice for the price, never lacks flavor too! If you’re on a budget or just want something simple and flavorful, I recommend this place.

Google
Delicious pho , speedy service , went at 4 am everything was still fresh , definitely reasonably priced a medium bowl which was huge was like 16 dollars

Yelp
Truly Pho 24. 24 hours a day. If you're looking for chill vibes and good food late night. This is a solid spot.

Yelp
This is always a gem for after a night out! Open late, hot food! This place is no frills though so don't expect too much by way of the setup or service but they are nice and get things out pretty quickly! A1 is my FAVORITE thing here!!! Dislike : Dislike : Dislike : Dislike : Dislike : Dislike : Dislike : Anything with a fried egg here is not my favorite.. it's so dry and they kind of kill it! I really only like the Pho and Fried Rice and A1 here.. those are my go-to options!!

Hanh C.

Yelp
Inexpensive, tasty Pho, wth generous portion. The service isn't top notch but adequate.

Yelp
Went on a Friday night because the place I normally go to was closed. At first the outside seemed sketchy and my bf and I were skeptical but oh my goodness the pho here was amazing!! The inside is very clean compared to the outside and the broth was the best thing I've ever tasted. Has so much flavor even without all the sauces added. The spring rolls were also good as well as the peanut sauce which I normally don't like but here was good. The service was great! Our server was very nice and funny we felt very welcomed. I will be coming here more often
google avatar

Yelp
I love it here! Open super late, always clean, and I see them cleaning all the time. The food is so good! Always really hot and flavorful. It's one of my favorites for a reason. Only thing is, because it's open really late, you have the potential to run into some unsavory characters. I would still recommend though.

Yelp
Food was great, came in on a Sunday night and was immediately seated. The broth was pretty good but what really blew me away was the Chili Garlic sauce that was actually spicy. I feel like its something not many pho places get right or don't provide for at all and im glad this place had such a great one provided. Only con would be I wish there was more meat, I feel like there was not as much meat like the flank or tendon which i was looking forward to but other than that it was great.
google avatar

Jehmin J.

Yelp
I had the roasted chicken and fried rice with pork bhan mi. The roasted chicken was deep fried not roasted. No discernable seasoning and the fried rice was edible. The bhanmi was good. Crisp bread soft center. I havent been here in awhile and it seemed familiar but strange. None of the workers were viet. The food and service was just good enough.

Fernando V.

Yelp
The service is terrible. This place looks like trash. Do not go here. The taste is bland also. This place needs to be shut down. The people making pho ain't even Chinese.
google avatar

Yelp
This Pho24 is a huge dine-in/takeout spot located in Chamblee (there are multiple locations in the ATL area). Lisa was so nice, and provided a great customer service experience. The shrimp fried rice was good. The shrimp was fresh and not overcooked which was perfect. However, I do think it could be a tad bit more flavorful when it comes to the seasoning put in the rice + a few more shrimp :) There is ample free parking at the front, vibe is super casual. Prices are decent for lunch.
google avatar

Oh M.

Yelp
Went this morning very early like 10am. Wasn't many people there. Was seated immediately. The lady that took my order was very funny and sweet! I order an extra large pho! Came out piping hot and the broth had good flavor. Definitely would recommend! I'll be back tomorrow morning!

Yelp
24, as in open 24 hours -- best to call before schlepping down with a 3 a.m. craving! -- Pho 24 is a reliably good place for soup. A Vietnamese acquaintance steered me elsewhere when I mentioned the restaurant, but I know what I like, and I like the pho here. I once read that authentic pho is prepared with beef broth. Whether that's true or not, shrimp noodle soup (P9 on the menu) is made with chicken broth. It's good! T ordered P11, tender beef and well done brisket. The meats are lean (one can get a fatty version) and the broth is indeed beef, as expected. I typically get a grilled pork banh mi sandwich filled with cilantro, cucumber and carrot. It's a better sandwich than I've had in some other Vietnamese restaurants. And cheaper, too! Pho comes in three sizes: small, medium and extra large. (I don't know why they don't just say large!) $2 separates each size. Ordering medium, I brought half home to enjoy with the half banh mi I didn't finish. Service is quick, a bit curt, but fine.
google avatar

Cathy N.

Yelp
I give this place props cause it's the only place opened extremely late. When you need some pho after a night out this place is available. The food is decent, but the service isn't the best. They take a long time and the ambiance is just like any other pho shop.
google avatar

Salwa S.

Yelp
I understand it's somehow raw but not literally RAW blood everywhere and you can see the meat is old, not editable.. it needs to be completely cooked!! what the hell happened to this place?? Not going back there ever again! You should've seen the horror on my face when I opened that bag!!

Omarly J.

Yelp
Always good, especially for a late night pinch! Sobered right up! Food, nice and hot. Service was quick and even faster late night ambience was peaceful.

Yelp
Taro boba smoothie was very good and banh mi was fresh and good and packaged nicely. The place smelled good and the staff were nice.
google avatar

Draco L.

Yelp
Came here late at night with a group of 20+ people and they easily accommodated us. I ordered a Medium House Special Pho and a Mango Smoothie. Even as someone that likes sweet things, the mango smoothie was way too sweet so I couldn't even finish it. The pho was decent, broth was good, and they gave plenty of meat. I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to come here but if I am craving pho and it is late at night I will probably come here again.

Yelp
I pass this place at least three times a week so today, I decided to visit. Oh, boy...where to start... To begin with, the guy who took my order was not only NOT friendly, he wouldn't even look at me. I thought he was having a crap day, and didn't think anything of it. I'm not going to take this part any further because I want to focus on the review, but things that happened afterwards made me understand that "I" and others like me, were not welcomed. However, keep in mind that I'm entitled to my perspective without being told, "that's not like that!" Back to the food. I was told my order would be ready in 15 minutes. It was back in five. I was thankful and ran outta there, although I thought it was strange. I live less than a mile away so I got home pretty quick, ensuring that my food would be hot. The only thing sorta hot was the soup. Not only were the noodles cold, they were ice cold and stiff in the bowl. In fact, the food wasn't freshly made at all. The raw beef was ice cold. I realized that they have prepackaged food that they prep in the morning and then sell to people on the go, like walk ins and food pickups for "dashing" and "eats". I tried to make the best of things, but when I tasted the food, the bean sprouts were unwashed. I wish I had seen the other reviewers posted here, particularly about the table mopped with a dirty floor mop. The health department need to ride up in there. In fact, I'm going to let them know I got dirty food there. This is an absolute "no, don't go there, don't walk past there, don't eat there."

Laka H.

Yelp
Ate here a while ago with my family. Thank Goodness there's a delicious pho restaurant for us nite owls. Food was great. Service was friendly, what's not to love. Please don't ever close down

Tracy S.

Yelp
"The food is average. If there were a 0-star option, I would rate it that way. The service was extremely rude, the worst I've ever encountered at a restaurant. The old waiter (who might also be the owner) served us with an unhappy expression. He demanded a tip and yelled at us when we didn't add it to the bill. If you don't offer good service, please don't ask for a tip. Customers know what they should do. I will never return."

Caitlin B.

Yelp
Wow just wow- So on top of them having only decent food quality as it isn't great or the best- but the male worker who is constantly there is an asshole. He was extremely rude to us, acted as if it was our job to fix his ordering system and took our money. The place looks sloppy and it's eerily quiet with barely anyone ever being present. It's a waste of time, money, and energy to eat here! Frankly- it's overcharged by $5-$10 for everything you could get in a bigger portion at better pho places that is 3 minutes way and have 3x faster service. Don't bother trying to talk to the staff there because they are rude, unprofessional people who only cared about taking money from multiple people as I was not the only one there with this issue.

Victoria F.

Yelp
So good after a night out. Just wish they would let the food cool down a tiny bit before serving. Service is okay I do wish they would get a coke fountain machine. Ambiance is great I personally like the look and feel to the restaurant
google avatar

Mark P.

Yelp
Not the best broth out of all the Vietnamese restaurants in the area, but let me tell you, at 12am, it hits differently. Late night, when all that's open are fast food places and Waffle House, this place becomes the most delicious place ever. The late night staff are nice ladies who are honestly superheroes with how busy they can get after 10pm. The place can use a little renovation because the booths are half broken and that bathroom is gross. I feel like I have to wash my hands after washing my hands. Overall though, I like this place for the food...after 10pm haha.

Yelp
Raw meat why I don't know I've been here for years never had raw meat to go they didn't even tempt to cook it unbelievable am sooo mad spent 50 + tip just to get raw meat unbelievable they going to here my mouth unbelievable

Yelp
R and I c ame here last night for dinner right before 7 pm. This Pho 24 location is in a small strip mall, and the shared and free parking lot has more than enough spaces for everyone. We walked in and were allowed to sit at any of the tables or booths of our preference. Our server came by to give us menus and take our drink orders. The restaurant is spacious, so it's very easy to social distance when there aren't that many customers in the restaurant (like it was last night). The restaurant shows its age, but was overall clean. Our server was extremely attentive and efficient the entire time we were there. When she brought us our drinks, she took our orders: I ordered a medium pho - P7 House Special Combination (tender beef, flank, fat brisket, tendon, tripe); and R ordered the vermicelli bun - B11 Grilled Shrimp, Pork & Egg Roll w/ Rice Vermicelli. I also ordered shrimp rolls (2 per order) appetizer. Within 5 minutes, the shrimp rolls were served. These shrimp rolls were smaller than ones served at other restaurants, and the peanut dipping sauce was thinner than we're used to. Otherwise, they were very good. I was served my medium bowl of pho and a plate of toppings about 5 minutes later, followed by R's rice vermicelli meal 5 minutes later. All of my toppings - a generous portion of bean sprouts, two wedges of lemon, some slices of jalapeño, a sprig of sweet basil and some culantro (not cilantro) were fresh, and I put everything except for the jalapeño and culantro into the pho bowl. The bowl of pho was generously full of the meats, and had some tendon and not much tripe. It had a lot of noodles in it. The broth was thin on the flavor, so I added some hoison sauce and sriracha sauce to give it some flavor and a little kick to it. This was not the best pho that I've had, but it wasn't anywhere near the worst. R said that his meal was delicious; it looked really good too.

Yelp
This used to be my favorite 24hr spot to eat pho. I am appalled and disappointed this visit. Honestly, ever since Covid happened this place really went down. I'm not sure if the owners changed, but the service was absolutely nonexistent, half of the menu was missing, and unlike their name Pho 24 they are no longer open 24 hours. This made me really upset because Pho 24 is a Restaurant I grew up eating with my family. It was a 24 hour restaurant I took my friends from out of town to eat at 3am. It was a Vietnamese restaurant that I could go to, and be proud of the amazing culture and food that came with it. I normally take pictures of my food, but this experience was so bad I could not bring myself to take any. First of all what authentic Vietnamese restaurant does not have Bo Ko? Bo Ko is a warm rich beef stew, I got constantly before here. That no longer exist along with a few other Vietnamese dishes. They don't even serve the fresh fruit smoothies, or che. However, I saw on the menu they still had smoothies , I guess they just didn't want to make me one. The servers don't even know anything about the food you literally just point what letter and number you want to eat. Second, I ended up just getting a basic pho with meatballs. The broth tasted like they bought store-bought beef broth and added a crap load of black pepper. There was basically no for flavor. It was store-bought boxed broth with pepper. To make matters worse, my table did not have Hoison sauce, when I asked for it, she said she did not have any, which is weird, considering it's a staple in Vietnamese food. They also do not have chili oil and gave me some generic Sriracha. I couldn't even try to make the flavor of the broth better. Lastly, The service was utterly terrible. Our server probably came to us maybe two times, and the rest was the bus boys bringing our food. Like I said, the server I got, did not know the menu and when I tried to order certain things she said they didn't have it but it was clearly on the menu. I don't know if they really don't sell that anymore or they just don't wanna make it for me, I just ended up getting a plain pho with meatballs. The smell of the restaurant if you sat too close to the bathroom, it smelled like poop. I could not even use the restroom, it smelled so bad. I went in there just to wash my hands, and I even tried to close the restroom door. Because the surrounding area near the bathroom, you could literally smell the stench of poop. This I feel is a very easy fix. It's just odor issues, everything else needs major work on.

Metri H.

Yelp
Lisa is amazing, she was amazing and she made our visit very warming. Her personality kept us going.
google avatar

Blu L.

Yelp
Used to visit this restaurant every weekend after hours for drunk food back in the mid 2010s and it used to be great. They must have gone under new management since then because my last few visits were terrible. Pho is more like noodles in hot salt water. The restaurant was not busy at all when we went in, maybe two other tables were being occupied. They took forever to bring my brother's food out. We were all done with our food by the time he finally got to eat. They also took forever to bring my spring rolls out, so I asked them to remove it from my order. They said they would, but the next morning I noticed they still charged me for the order that I never got. Never coming back here again. I Luv Pho is far from the best, but it's much better than this restaurant for a 24 hour spot.

Yelp
If you're visiting Buck head/Lenox Georgia and graving for a very late night pho or Asian food this place is 24hrs. Customer service was ok. Workers were passing me by without acknowledgment. I'm just waiting for please hold on. rather than being ignored Especially when you standing next to the cashier. The food is good enough that ill come back.

Nyya J.

Yelp
Yummy, 24hrs, & affordable! I love this place! I can't eat pho with out culantro and THEY GIVE ALOT! In my country we call it shadow benny and it's my fave. I haven't been in about 7 months but when I come back to GA I will be in this establishment best believe
google avatar

Yelp
Under new ownership. The food was horrible. Used to be a favorite when visiting Atlanta. No more.
google avatar

Daniel T.

Yelp
I dined at Pho 24 on Sunday, January 24, 2021 around 2 am. At this ungodly hour, this establishment was still busy with a group of diverse night owls who either just got off from a late shift or decided to take their after-party for some late night pho. Even if you are not craving for pho, this fast-casual restaurant offers a variety of classic Vietnamese dishes such as banh mi, bun bo hue, and combination of other noodle and rice dishes. There's is something for everyone! I think the overall quality of the pho is average compared to other pho restaurants. The meat was somewhat overcooked, which explains why the tendon had no texture. The broth was a little too oily, but others may find no problem with it. The bo vien was good and had good size, but I didn't like how they were not consistently cut. Some were cut into slices, while others were cut into quarters. But that's just me being picky. Overall, considering the convenience and fast service, I think this place is deserving of a 4-star rating despite their average quality food. If you're coming here to satisfy late night munchies or needed quick bites, you won't be disappointed. But I would consider other pho restaurants if you're planning to have a meal during normal hours because I bet there are other pho houses that serve higher quality pho. Since this was a fast-casual restaurant, there wasn't much service to comment about. Food came out pretty quick for a busy night. I would return if I wanted to eat past 10 pm and try their other dishes. Tip: You can only get medium or large pho for to-go orders.
google avatar

Karla C.

Yelp
Since it is open 24 hrs, this place can easily become a place to go to after a long night and crowded. The night we went, it was pretty empty so we sat down immediately. Service us a little slow but I will admit their Pho really hits the spot. It is savory, comforting and delicious. Their Thai tea was descent and so was their spring roll but their egg roll hit the spot too. I would recommend this place no matter the time of day.
google avatar

Logan P.

Yelp
I loveeeee Pho 24! The food is a 10/10, the staff is friendly.. even at 3 in the morning lol. Definitely recommend trying it out!
google avatar

Simone S.

Yelp
I've been here before with a friend but never ordered anything due to I didn't know what they sold. Recently I've been introduced to Pho' ga in Boston so I wanted to try it here in Atlanta so I came to Pho 24 and ordered to go for my mother n I who never tasted it before and she liked it a lot. We also had fried rice with vegetables and we both shared it and it was good too. They have a lot of seating inside, you can seat yourself. The have parking out front and around the side as well. Anytime I need soup I'll definitely think of Pho 24 first
google avatar

Yelp
I was here 2 Saturdays ago. I saw one of their employees mopping the floor with a mop. Looks like part of his task was also to clean up the table next to where he was mopping. So he used the same mop he was using to mop the floor to mop the table also. I came back the next day and notified the head server of what I saw. I will be reporting this to the Food Safety Authorities also. I was there Saturday May 20th around or after 6PM.

jacquelyn ..

Yelp
I would have given 0 stars if possible. The employees are extremely rude. Absolutely terrible customer service. Even if the food was amazing I would never support this business again. "Mike" if that is even his name was very unprofessional. When asked to speak to a manager, I was told that there is no management. Which makes complete sense after that experience. Used to be my go to spot but will never support again. Took my money with no refund. Stay away.

Yelp
This used to be my favorite Pho and Banh Mi place on Buford Highway. Fast forward to 2021 and it is a sad, dirty gross restaurant with terrible food. The server was great and asked how I was doing everytime she passed the table but the food was terrible. Live and learn, I won't be back, Thanks for the memories

Joel M.

Yelp
Pho 24 was never BuHi's best but WHAT is going on at this location? I've been probably half a dozen times over the years and my last experience was a major disappointment. Undercooked bún (that I began to suspect were actually thin spaghetti) and underwhelming food in general, everything served in plastic containers, and kind of a grubby atmosphere overall (with kinda nasty bathrooms). I don't remember it being like this. I was only there due to passing through the area later than everything else had closed, but will simply save the craving for another occasion next time.
google avatar

Lily H.

Yelp
Overall 4/5: Open late and awesome for a quick yummy bite! Located on Buford Hwy a little away from everything else but still conveniently close. This place is open 24 hours so it's perfectly after a late night and you're craving some pho. Food 4/5: I always get tender beef and tripe pho, it was great. The noodles weren't clumpy and the broth was really good. The meat was good. I also got the shrimp spring rolls which are always delicious and refreshing. Love the peanut sauce it comes with. Service 4/5: They have you seat yourself which is fine, then someone comes around and takes your order on their mobile POS which is great and fast. The food comes out on a cart to each table. Great method for a place with limited staff. Gotta hand it to them, haha. Vibe 4/5: Classic pho place, not much to be expected, but it's always typically clean. Very hectic in there of course, gives me diner type vibes. Always a fun time in here. Thank you, Pho 24.

Yelp
The worst Vietnamese food I had in my life. The pho was bland and lacking flavor. Don't waste your time or money here.
google avatar

Yelp
Arrived at 11:00PM on Tuesday, August 16th...definitely closed. I was so disappointed given the great reviews, hopefully, I can try it someday when it's actually open.

Yelp
A classiccc. Loved going here during my college days. While I may be older and my taste buds just a lil more refined now, this place still hits the spot. We went here Sunday at 10pm (my college self would've laughed at me going here so early.. yes yes I'm weak sauce now), and the place was fairly packed. Don't you change, Pho 24!

Miss G.

Yelp
I had a dine in meal once at this location. I thought it would be great after hours take out. I was sorely mistaken. Two orders of chicken fried rice and one set of spring rolls 37.00. No problem had they not packaged obvious table scraps for to go. They tie the bag extra tight and you don't know it's garbage until you get it home. The rice was hard and dry. The chicken was old and dry. It was inedible garbage. Never again!
google avatar

Samavi A.

Yelp
We came here since we had some late night cravings for pho! Didn't realize but glad we found a pho spot that stays open late. My friend got the banh mi and I got the chicken pho while we shared their chicken wings. The wings were dry and came with a honey fish sauce to dip in. The wings by themselves were good and also great to try diff sauces including Sriracha which was at the table. The chicken pho was great. It hit the spot on a cold winter night. Overall glad to have found a late night pho spot when those cravings hit.

Diana L.

Yelp
The pho broth has gone downhill at this place. Not only that, my sister found a fly in her bowl of pho. We are so glad that it was on top and my sister spotted the fly before she even started eating. Due to this reason, I have also taken away an extra star. They did, however, replace her bowl quickly but you know how it is after you find something disgusting in your food. Your appetite just isn't there anymore. The only good thing here was their eggrolls. It's still on point and very flavorful. It came out hot and crispy. To add on to the review (even though this isn't about food), my sisters and I did end up using their restroom. It is not the cleanest and they didn't stock up on their toilet paper in two of their stalls. Just not good in my opinion for customers. They could do better for sure. I will never go back to this specific location. I may consider a different location for Pho 24 or a whole different pho restaurant.
google avatar

Uma P.

Yelp
It's really a 2 Star place BUT it's open almost 24/7 so it gets an extra star. Food is okay, the pho wasn't my favorite, bland flavor, we got the chicken. The vermicelli noodles were decent, I've had better and they were better than the pho. Portions were definitely good. We ate all of the vermicelli but left some pho behind. We also got a strawberry shake and also underwhelmed...watery and poor flavors. Overall, the food was a 2. Not well decorated. Prices were alright though, around $23. Minimal staff for a place that was busy-Ish and just a strange set up. It's bigger Than you think it is inside. We seated ourselves, disorganized BUT the staff was very polite. Food came out super quick too. It's great that it's open almost 24/7 but I'm not impressed. Doubt we'll be back here. Not a cute date spot or anything.

Yelp
Came here around 11. The staff was friendly and the food portion was good. Not a bad late night snack if nowhere else is open.

Yelp
Just the fact that it's open 24/7 explains it all. The boba was really good We did get take out and eating pho to go just isn't the same.
