"Further north in Murphy, this restaurant makes waves with its signature dish — shaken beef garlic noodles. A marriage between the Mi Xao Toi, thin egg noodles tossed in garlic scallion sauce, and Bò Lúc Lắc, tenderloin beef cubes marinated in soy and oyster sauce blend then shaken in a hot pan, is heavenly. Upgrade to a platter for large parties or turn it into a surf and turf by adding a lobster tail." - Didi Paterno

Went to Pho 544 with a friend and had an amazing experience! The service was outstanding—friendly, fast, and attentive. Everything from the appetizers to the pho was absolutely delicious.

Google
Fried rice’s the best of the 4 different dishes we tried. Very tasty! The tendon & meat pho’s good too. Broth tastes clean. The shaken beef with rice was tasty with a bit of spice. Their spring rolls fine but the peanut sauce’s bland unfortunately. On the pricey side so go for their lunch prices. Spacious but not the most appealing design-wise. Service was quick & curt.

Google
My husband and l's favorite pho/Vietnamese restaurant in the Dallas area. Definitely worth a visit if you live in Murphy, Wylie, Plano! The pho broth is clear, flavorful, and fresh — you can tell they make it from scratch in their kitchen! The bún thịt nướng chả giò/vermicelli noodles with grilled pork and spring rolls are also both delicious. As for desserts, we love the Vietnamese coffee and flan. The Vietnamese coffee is robust and rich and they serve these items how it is in Vietnam. The owners are so sweet and we love chatting with them. The service and ambience have been wonderful every time we've gone. Would recommend.

First time experience here , upon entering everything looked cleaned and very open. I have been craving pho and was super excited to try this place in Murphy , I ordered a mango boba tea which was waaayyy to sweet to the point where I had to order a water to water it down because I wanted to enjoy the drink, my significant other had the Thai tea which was way to sweet he took a couple sips and that was it . I order the large chicken pho which was great broth I loved the spicy chili sauce they have at the table and I ordered a side of chili oil , he got the large beef broth which was also great broth and then we shared the shaken beef plate (6/10)and shrimp spring rolls (9/10)which were fresh and the peanut sauce that it came with was warm I prefer cold . The meat in both the chicken and beef pho were very tender (10/10).. Everything was going great until my significant other saw a little hair in his beef pho , I brought to the front to show whom I’m assuming she was one of the owners of this establishment and she immediately said it came from my shirt or my eyelash which this pho bowl was not even mine. Customer service is very important , instead of putting the blame on the customer immediately take another approach with grace as these things do happen behind the kitchen doors and it’s ok . But however it did put a bad taste in my mouth and that being said I’m not sure we would come back to this restaurant for further options . However , they asked if he wanted another beef pho but at that point his appetite was gone and they took it off the bill.

Decided to try something new and ended up trying this new restaurant for the first time and I can’t believe how tasty it was! Pho and bun Bo hue has always been a very picky food for me because I like to find the best of the best as authentic that it can be in America . I am very satisfied . Already planning my weekly visit.

Came here to get some food and was greeted by the old lady at the register. And I'm not sure if it's because I'm a 6'2 black male with a durag on my head. But she automatically assumed my order was to go. Once I tipped her. She had the tip jar sitting under the register "because I tip in cash" I made a joke and told her she better put the jar on the register. One of the workers. Little swole Vietnamese kid asked me what happened as if me and granny got into it. Destroyed my whole mood. Finally got my food and came home to eat it. And I'm very disappointed at how it looks and taste

Google
Recommend to visit this place! Please make sure to mix your bowl for shaken beef garlic noodle. Beef was juicy and tender!! Highly recommend!! Well marinated and savory perfect taste for me For spring roll Peanut sauce was amazing. It was not usual sauce as other Vietnamese restaurant peanut sauce. It was unique! One sad part is that it is way too far from my home :(. I would love to visit again!

Yelp
Pho 544 is most excellent. I highly recommend this Vietnamese resturant. Whenever we get a craving for noodles this is are number one go to resturant.

Lily H.

Yelp
Finally tried this pho place out... and glad we did. I appreciate their serving sizes including the big Bertha size that could serve a whole family, which makes it more cost effective compared to other pho places. Service was good and overall a casual family environment. Their thit nuong actually was really good. We will be back!

May M.

Yelp
Very bad experience today!! The food has changed. Not only today but because it's in my neighborhood I try to keep going back only to be disappointed each time. The chicken in the Pho is served dry and served iced cold in hopes that the hot soup warms it up. They are not detailed and consistent how they give you your food. It should be the same every time! I'm sorry I've tried, but after 5 years...I'm done Pho 544 there are too many options out there. ..I'm just going to have to drive a little farther.

Rachael W.

Yelp
Food was amazing! Service was very fast! No comments about staff, didn't go above and beyond, but no negative comments.

Kendy L.

Yelp
After seeing the surf and turf lobster shaken beef garlic noodles online, I had to go try it! It looks exactly as advertised! It is pricey but the beef was delicious. Tender and juicy with so much flavor. However there was a couple cubes that were very raw which I had to spit out. The dish is drenched in garlic on the beef and in the noodles which gave it so much aroma and flavor. The egg noodles were fantastic. The lobster was a miss for me. It was pretty tough and didn't really have much flavor. This made the dish more expensive but it didn't enhance it at all. My boyfriend had the pork banh mi and said it was average. He's had better bread before. The service was prompt and straight forward. I'd recommend this place for their shaken beef garlic noodles without the lobster.

Dennis S.

Yelp
A good lunch with fried rice combo. Good service and friendly folks. Nice outside dining options

Mel K.

Yelp
We have been going there for years. The food is delicious and the service is great. It's a great place for a date in the evening or lunch with your friends. We tried a number of restaurants in the area to find good pho and we were so glad to find this place. And we love the vegetable egg rolls, not a fan of the sauce that comes with it so we use the hoisin sauce. Can't get enough of those egg rolls and hoisin!!

Aaron G.

Yelp
Yummy! Hankering for some delicious pho? Want a rice plate instead? How about a sandwich. They have you covered. The food is always good and freshly prepared. The prices are in line with where they should be and the ambience is what is expected. The only reason I would not recommend this restaurant is if you don't like Vietnamese food. Otherwise, why are you waiting?

Paula C.

Yelp
I've been here like a hundred times and I'm never disappointed. Try the bun Bo hue- it's amazing! Service is always fast. They really know what they're doing here.

Ruben S.

Yelp
I happened upon this place quite accidentally as I was in the area doing some business. I had a hankering for some Pho and egg rolls so that's what I got. The egg rolls were delicious, the Pho was really good and was plentiful. Do I recommend it, yes. The lady who waited on me was very attentive and prompt. Also the restaurant is nice and clean. Big plus.

Farrah F.

Yelp
I don't live nearby anymore but I drive for food! If you want some quality Vietnamese food made with love and care, this is the place!!! Pho, spring rolls, rice plates! You can't go wrong! Definitely need to try!

M T.

Yelp
My family drives there every other week or once a month from Mckinney, My food is always great ( Bun Bo He no beef only cha lua). My daughter order shaken beef noodles & my husband's favorite is Pho. Even Mama from the kitchen remembers my order every time. see you next weekend

Tim H.

Yelp
Good, quick service if you got that craving for some pho. Very good value for the pricing!

Samantha C.

Yelp
Overall thoughts: The Pho was pretty good! The shrimp spring rolls were fresh and delicious. We were seated right away. The employees rotated serving us, but they did not miss a beat! It was one well-oiled machine. I think it is a family owned restaurant since they all seemed to know each other pretty well and know how to work the room to perfection! The food was great! I love that they offered different sizes for those in the party that have different thresholds of hunger! They offer Small, Large, and Super. We made a mistake and sat around waiting for the check to be brought to us because 1) we did not check Yelp/read other Yelper's advice 2) We missed the small handmade sign (covered by an overgrown plant) above the register telling customers to pay at the register.

Chantal B.

Yelp
Honestly this is the BEST Vietnamese restaurant in Murphy Texas that serves authentic bun bo hue. Their pho noodle soup is amazing too but every time I'm there I always stick to the same dish because it's that good! I don't eat anywhere else for bun Bo hue. This place is the REAL legit and the best in entire Dallas metroplex! Thank you momma Quan for making my special soup!

Christina N.

Yelp
Really wanted to love them but the Bun Bo Hue was sadly a let down. Presentation was fantastic but the flavors, noodles, and meat were off. The noodles were on the harder side like they needed to be cooked a bit longer. The flavor of the soup was not as strong as it should be. The meat tasted like they were old. I brought it up to the owner (I think it was him or one of them), telling him it doesn't quite taste like BBH. He kept saying that it's been a long time since he's been to Vietnam and doesn't know how Bun Bo Hue is supposed to taste like and apologized for the disappointment. I will say it was nice to see the pig's blood considering a lot of other restaurants don't have them due to a shortage previously. I'd recommend sticking to pho.

Meryl J.

Yelp
Can't go wrong with shaken beef noodles, grilled pork bahn mi or their pho. I typically order to go and never have to wait more than 10 minutes. Only complaint is that I wish they were open later!

Mubeena A.

Yelp
The best Pho place we've ever come across!! As the lady who makes the dishes said, "we bring the kind of food we eat at home to our customers" Absolutely true for how authentic, fresh and delicious the food here is!! And the service is extremely friendly and welcoming too, making this our go-to place for Pho now that we've found them!

Cory M.

Yelp
I love Iove love this place. It's always fresh and very flavorful. Good service too. My daughter and I think it's the best pho restaurant in this area. I recommend the vermicelli

G H.

Yelp
Probably the best cha gio I've had in the DFW area. Phô broth lacked a little depth but was fairly balanced and satisfying. Patio seating area is roomy and cozy. Service was speedy and friendly.

M Bianca A.

Yelp
I follow their IG and finally had a chance to visit them on a weekday around 11ish. Huge restaurant and friendly staff! My bf's pho was so flavorful! One of the best pho's I've had in DFW so far! We also got the Vietnamese coffee, spring rolls and Vietnamese egg rolls and they were so good! I can't wait to come back! Definitely support local and check this place out!

Zhen L.

Yelp
I drove over 30 min to Murphy so I could try this restaurant's Shaking beef noodles w/ live lobster, and it was completely worth it. My wife got their spicy Bun Bo Hue and it was a VERY authentic bowl of noodles (had pig blood and pig trotter), flavor was on point and they actually used the right kind of noodles since most places use the rice noodle used for Pho. We love this place and will definitely be back!

Lexie C.

Yelp
My family and I love to come here for a quick bite when we don't feel like cooking at home and it's conveniently located for us too. I always get bun bo hue or com thit nuong here and it always hits the spot. Very filling, decently priced, and there usually isn't a wait to be seated or too long of a wait on food...maybe unless it's to-go during the lunch rush.

L P.

Yelp
Nothing like the pictures, it's very affordable but you get what you pay for. Pho was super plain, sandwich was better

David B.

Yelp
We went there first time yesterday. I'm really not a pho person but my daughter was craving it. It was probably the best pho we had ever had. Not salty at all as I usually expect it to be. Staff was so nice and patient. We will definitely be going back again.

Anh N.

Yelp
Authentic best fresh delicious Vietnamese food in the area! I'll give 5 stars for food/ price/ service/ location & atmosphere. Will recommend this shop to anyone.

L H.

Yelp
We had the pho and spicy beef (BBH). Both were just ok. The broth on both lacked flavor. The pho needed more anise seed and the bun Bo more lemongrass. Although the service was friendly, we were both underwhelmed.

Stephen P.

Yelp
Did not feel welcome here. We ordered our food just like anyone else. Multiple tables that came after us all got their food and finish eating, even paid and left. Service was horrible, the server did not even inform us the status of our food. So we got up and left. The server ran after us and said we have to pay for the food. Which we never saw. He said the food was slow because there is only 1 cook in the back. Well, everyone else after us got their food done and gone. We decided to eat somewhere else, left a tip for the water and leave. Here is the kicker, the server ran to our car and stood right in front not letting us leave while he calls the police. Wtf? Like what is the police going to do? Make me pay for something I've never got?. I have the right to walk out if the service is not welcoming and not pay a dime if my order was never fulfilled and deliver. Dude said something about the food is on the way. Well we were the for 30 mins waiting. People after us didn't have to wait long. And they came AFTER, done and gone. First time here and will be the last. The server is something else on another level, he chased us on foot while we drove off and still on the phone with a police giving the description of our car. I drive a model y and the guy thinks I can't afford to pay for the food?. I didn't sign up for that kind of service.

Shunkecia L.

Yelp
This was my first time at Pho 544 and it didn't disappoint with the shaken beef garlic noodles! You deserve to see this noodle pull in action! It was so good and flavorful. This meal comes with fresh egg noodles served with shaken beef, bean sprouts, and lettuce. It all went so well together. I also got vegetarian egg rolls on the side - perfect complement to the meal!

Kellie J.

Yelp
Very good pho chicken, the chicken was cut too large for me, smaller pieces would have been better but very tasty.

Kelvin T.

Yelp
I like garlic noodles, 100% recommends also they were very nice to my family, finally it was also really clean

Holly N.

Yelp
I have never been so disappointed eating pho. The pho here was pretty mediocre. I went with a couple of friends and we were so disappointed that we were thinking about going to another pho place just to get our cravings over with. Pho nam gau (1/5) Firstly, I asked for my pho to have everything on it and there were no cilantro in my pho at all. Then when we asked for cilantro, they gave it to us whole instead of chopped up like a normal pho place would do for garnish/topping whatever. Secondly, there was pepper in my pho and I don't like pepper in it like that. I knew the pho was gonna be mediocre when I saw the pepper. The broth was didn't have that rich fragrant flavor that I look for. I usually finish my pho but I couldn't even finish this. Shaken beef fries (3/5) these weren't bad. The meat was good and there was a lot of flavor. We asked for more of the sauce that was on top (on the side) and that made it better. Shaken beef garlic noodles (2/5) same flavor beef so it was good. We would've liked this fish more if it weren't on a huge bed of bean sprouts. Service (2/5) we asked for extra limes and the waiter brought two limes out in his hand. HE GAVE IT TO US IN HIS HAND. IN A PANDEMIC. WHO DOES THAT?! We were a little disgusted so we asked for more and he brought it out in a dish. Thankfully he brought it out in a dish the second time. I wouldn't drive 30mins back out here again. The only thing that was really good was the flavor of the shaken beef. Not worth the drive in my opinion.

G M.

Yelp
Great food! Great service. Our fave pho place! Love all the options, but my fave dish is the Surf & Turf: Lobster Tail, Shaken Beef and Garlic Noodles! Must try! Can't wait to go back!

Shianne C.

Yelp
I go here every few weeks, the price recently dropped and portions are still the same so it's a win win, great flavor with everything and worth the money.

Adriana J.

Yelp
Great place for pho! Inside, the restaurant it is bigger than it appears from outside. There are plenty of room for large parties. Food is very good and price is reasonable.

Hannah P.

Yelp
The BEST BO NE in town! We will make the hour drive just to eat it here, and the dried egg noodles *chef's kiss* Any out of town visitors that come, we always take them here. Show them some love.

Joan Y.

Yelp
Vermicelli noodles with pork was perfectly cooked and the Banh mi was excellent! Service was outstanding and the owner came out to ask us how we liked our food. Very nice place! We will definitely return.

Monica L.

Yelp
We are here so much, I call the co owners Mom and Dad :) Stopping by at Pho 544 to eat is always a sure bet to please the kids and family! They've seen my kids grow and up and I've seen them become and amazing staple in our area--not just Murphy. Pho 544 is a foodie destination. Not to embarrass the owner (the "kid" of the co-owners, mom and dad)... Owner Phil is of the legendary instagram foodie account PhilEats. He knows good food. And because the food is so good, please don't expect fast food. As soon as you put the order in, you can literally hear it start cooking in the kitchen. We've even learned to hear for our bell ring in the kitchen that alerts our server the dish is ready! My kids like the pork plates (C2 and others). I like anything from fried rice, to of course, Pho steak/brisket.

Amanda A.

Yelp
I am in stage 3 CKD and can honestly say this is the ONLY PHO in the metroplex that doesn't make me sick! The broth is clear and delicious needs nothing added to it ( please don't douse w hoisin sauce ) Momma Quan and Randy work hard to get just the right flavor without MSG all fresh imported herbs and spices no mixes! CKD causes a lot of dietary restrictions and Pho 554 passes the test if you need no added sodium or sugars!!! If you haven't already check them out! Also my husband loves Philip's shaken beef noodles( filet) and lobster tail and it's only $30!!! ‍ don't walk! -- eating lunch at Pho 544.

Kay A.

Yelp
Customer service could be a little better, as the server seemed like she was in a rush and kept forgetting things - but food was great!

Jill F.

Yelp
The banh mi was excellent and tasted so fresh. We got a side of chicken fried rice and it was really good too. Service was friendly, attentive, and quick.

Rachel G.

Yelp
So good we ate here ~5x within the first 2 weeks of discovering it!! Very accommodating staff and food is always super delicious and pipping hot. Amazing pho broth flavor that can't be found elsewhere! We will definitely be regulars at this establishment thanks to the staff and consistently delicious food!

Christina T.

Yelp
Tried to give this place another chance since my son has covid and I have the flu. Placed a large order by phone and my husband picked it up and came home. Again, half the order was missing. My husband had to call, argue and drive back over there for the rest of the order. The owner did not care, was not the least bit sorry and took the generous tip my husband had left on the original order. Such a shame because we truly love the food but seriously, the customer service is shit.

Nga N.

Yelp
I love me some bo ne. I usually get it when I am in Houston. The only place in DFW that has this dish is in Arlington (hella far) until now. People were hyping it up so I had to try it for myself. The meat was flavorful. Would prefer them to add some Vietnamese butter/mayonnaise to the dish. I also enjoyed the steak fries and the Vietnamese coffee. Beside bo be, I have been here a couple times for pho and wasn't a fan but will come back when I want some bo ne.

Mia D.

Yelp
Updated review: They are a gem in this little town. There's tons of seating inside and outside. Please note that you must go Register to pay so don't sit around waiting for a check to be served. This place is a small family feel yet their menu is extensive with even curry and a secret menu to boot (ask them)! I come here during the week to get my pho fix, I love that you can order extra meat etc and customize a lot of the dishes as they make it fresh. This is an authentic Vietnamese restaurant beyond just pho. Try to grilled chicken or grill pork w noodles or over rice! Eggrolls are a must Bc they come out piping hot! My brother had pho thai w extra meat (a more traditional way to eat w meat raw and we use tons of lime to squeeze on the raw meat w some black pepper and cook it inside the pho ---definitely try this method)! The cook in the kitchen is Mama Quan and she cooks to please. Think of her as your mom away from mom I have heard of the lobster & noodle dish but have yet to try. I must next time! This place is definitely not to be missed if you're in this small town next to Plano/Parker/Wylie area!

Sandra K.

Yelp
I heard about this restaurant on Tik Tok and had to make a stop while I was passing through Dallas. The interior isn't updated but our food came out fast. I ordered a small P4 (pho chin bo vien/well done brisket and meatballs) and a shaken beef garlic noodles. Their servings are generous, even for my small pho, and they use fresh ingredients. Their shaken beef was nicely seasoned and the pho was alright, I've had better back in the suburbs of Austin who also had a more generous serving of meat, their broth feels like it's missing something. I would try something else if I were to go again. There was plenty of seating and there were two other diners that came in and the server asked if they wanted their "regular", so they have some loyal fans.

Zarina A.

Yelp
Service has always been pretty fast. Food is good for Murphy area. Pretty is average.

Damian B.

Yelp
Holy smokes, guys. I can't believe I've lived so close to this place for four years and have never come here. If you don't read much more than this, then all you need to know is that the food was amazing and you should try it out. The inside of the restaurant is nothing special. It's not going to be a romantic date location, or somewhere you take someone to impress them on looks alone. And you know what? It doesn't matter. Some of the best food can be found in the most unassuming places. Let me be clear, this place isn't dirty or disgusting. Just a bit no frills, which is totally okay and I'm into. I tried three different dishes. First, I had the Spring Rolls with Shrimp. Simple execution where the herbs come out, and the peanut sauce is a perfect balance. Only remark is they were a little "thinner" than I expected. Ironically I know most of it is filler, compared to the shrimp. Normal amount of shrimp, just would liked a smidge more of the other stuff. Otherwise, no complaints. Second, THEY HAVE PORK! I'm calling this out only because a lot of places in the Metroplex do not serve pork, and I absolutely love pork. So item number two was the Grilled Pork Bahn Mi. Loved everything about it, and all the ingredients really came through. The Pork had a lovely caramelization to it that added a slight sticky sweetness. If I would change anything about it, I would add more herbs like cilantro. Last on the menu was the Vermicelli with Grilled Pork (I know... but see above) and this one really hit it out of the park for me. With the pork on center stage, I was in heaven. Everything was flavorful and melded together nicely. I could eat this all day, every day. There isn't much more to say about it other than it was so delicious and I will get it again. If you made it this far, than you're probably yelling something like "Honey, we're getting Vietnamese tonight! What do you want?" and you would be correct in doing so. Visit Pho 544, try out their delicious food (especially the pork) and help a local business out there. Please note, though, that their Menu as listed on their website is a bit outdated so while it's a bit inconvenient, you might want to go in to order. Fingers crossed they'll get their online menu updated to make it easier to call in an order ahead of time. But it's worth the wait, so until then, get that Pho 544!

Anna F.

Yelp
This place is the BEST! I have been here several times. I have dined in and gotten takeout and have tried something new every single time. Every single time I have received exceptional service, the food has been delivered to the table extremely fast, and the food is incredibly affordable! I now crave this place constantly, best pho I've ever had!!

Nicholas M.

Yelp
Excellent food, top notch customer service, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
