"A hidden oasis in Shoreline, this cozy pho shop feels like something likely to be found in Vietnam. The beef-based pho has perhaps the best depth of flavor in the Seattle area. There are non-beef options as well, including a vegetarian broth with tofu and vegetables, but beef is the main draw here. Do as the Vietnamese patrons do by ordering lychee water as a refreshing treat upon getting seated." - Jay Friedman

"When it comes to phở, table set up can be just as important as noodle chew and broth flavor. Pho 99 Authentic Vietnamese in Shoreline nails that requirement with plenty of fish sauce, hoisin, and Lysol wipes for the unavoidable aftermath of nonstop slurping. Their #7 with rare beef and plump meatballs is a must-order, but the other stuff is great too, including charred short rib plates and towering lemongrass chicken vermicelli bowls. The straightforward dining room along Aurora is small but comfortable, good for a casual weeknight dinner in your finest sweatpants. And though you may have to circle the block a few times since the lot is small, the hassle is well worth it." - Kayla Sager-Riley

There are non-beef options as well, including a vegetarian broth with tofu and vegetables, but beef is the main draw here. Bun rieu (tomato crab noodle soup) is another quality soup choice from a menu that also includes a variety of appetizers, bun (rice vermicelli), and rice dishes. "A hidden oasis in Shoreline, this small pho joint lives up to its name. The quality of the pho is evident in the intense aroma and tender meats that Vietnamese patrons swear by. Available for takeout daily, but best to call ahead for hours." - Eater Staff

Good pho... Soup is very hot and flavorful, plenty of meat and noodles, plenty of bean sprouts... Parking is limited though

I got a vegan pho. It was delicious. Good place to sit and have a good dinner. They had veggie broth which is great for a vegan like me. A little more flavored/salty broth would be great. They charge $2 more for credit card payments which I can totally agree as a small business owner. I paid cash. They could do better with receipts. No receipt given to me, but even for others it was a notebook receipt given. Just good enough parking available for a place right on 99/Aurora. Suggestion to owner: Play some light music, it will add to your ambience. I recommend this place, overall!

My family's favorite pho and bun restaurant in the Seattle area. The Thai iced tea is very good and the lychee water a tasty alternative to regular water. Didn't get a pic of the pho as my family started eating before I could take a pic. The photo is 38, bun with grilled pork and spring roll. Note that a piece of spring roll is missing as my dining companions took a piece before i could take the pic.

Literally best pork vermicelli I’ve had in Seattle. Pork is grilled and seasoned and sauce is good. Would definitely come again. Parking was a little tricky.

Must try the beef short rib pho. The soup was very thick and savory. The portion was huge. Everything was pretty much “authentic”, even the service was just right for the pho place.

Love this pho place, lots of options, always tastes good. I also recommend the chicken teriyaki.

I was looking for some good Pho in Seattle and came across this tiny hole in the wall type shop. The food was delicious and the portions were decent. We had Deep Fried Egg Rolls, a Rice Noodle Soup combo, Charbroiled Pork Skewers and Vermicelli. I really liked the Rice Noodle Soup and Pork skewers. The lychee water that they serve is also quite refreshing, especially during summer. There seem to be a lot of regular customers and people who swear by the quality of the food and it shows. I would definitely recommend this place, if you're looking for authentic Vietnamese food.

From the water you’re given when you arrive (infused with two delicious floating lychees) to the food itself, this place was amazing! Portion size was great for us and the prices are on the cheap size. You can tell it’s authentic given that they focus in the food rather than service , decorations and stuff that doesn’t really matter. Definitely coming back to try some rice with pork dish I saw someone eating at another table
