We ordered spring rolls, egg rolls, pho combination and Banh xèo. Spring rolls were okay and the sauce wasn’t very good. Egg rolls were decent because they were decent size rolls. Pho was 13 dollars, but after I added protein Into it they charge you extra 5 dollars so it total to 18 dollars. Pho broth wasn’t very good and you get like 3 piece of rare beef, one meat ball, and 3 pieces of small brisket. Honestly, the pho wasn’t that good and I left it half eating. Banh xèo was good, but the nước mắm was the wrong kind so it wasn’t for me. Service was non existence and it was t even busy. There are a lot of things to improve at this place. The atmosphere was nice and it looks clean.

Review: My husband and I dined in for lunch, but unfortunately, our experience was underwhelming. The portion sizes in relation to the price were disappointing. My husband ordered the special beef pho, which contained only four pieces of meat along with a small amount of tendon. Additionally, the accompanying vegetables were minimal, with only two slices of jalapeño. I had the pork belly pad Thai, and the noodles were firmer than I prefer. Service was lacking, as the staff never checked on us or offered to refill our water. Overall, the dining experience did not meet our expectations, and I do not anticipate returning.

Nice place. Nicely decorated. Came here for dinner and got a pho combo with brisket and meat balls. Food was good in general but soup was too salty and MSG was a bit too intense. Volume of protein was a good amount.

Prices are on the high end for decent Vietnamese food (something you’d pay at a fine dining restaurant with food you could probably make yourself at home). The pictures on the menu were misleading and looked a lot better compared to what we actually got so that was a surprise. But anyway, we got two small egg rolls for $8 and a $17 beef/meatball pho (I’ve never been to a pho place where you had to pay extra to add protein - the pho usually already comes with protein so that was interesting). Other than the outrageous prices, the taste was a bland and I ended up overdressing my broth to make it taste better but overall I thought the prices are too high, portions too small, taste is too mediocre. Probably won’t be back here

I’ve had my fair share of trying Vietnamese restaurants all over the Twin Cities and in cities such as Houston and L.A. Never in my life have I ever paid $19 for a bowl of pho. Not to mention it was a meatball pho, which is typically a cheaper option than having it with sliced beef. I was in shock when I was paying and saw the total. I had to ask if that was the price for a single bowl and they said yes. I was driving home in total shock of the price as I’ve never paid more than $14.95 for a bowl and that’s with recent inflations. They used to be $9.95 - $13 but I understand the reason to raise prices, BUT $19?!!!! I told myself that this could be the best quality pho I’ve ever had and maybe that’s why it could be so expensive. I got home and prepped the bowl, excited to have my first taste. Absolutely horrible. Broth had almost no flavor, it was very oily, and the amount of meatballs was underwhelming. If I were you, I’d buy the instant pho cup from Costco and it’d be better quality than this for a fraction of the price.

Pho Chao has a different approach to chicken noodle soup. Here, the soup comes without protein, so you have to pay extra for chicken, beef, or vegetables. It's not what you usually get for the same price at other places. The broth is tasty, but the pricing feels off.

Best pho so far, in my honest opinion. I ordered the beef pho with meatballs and brisket, egg rolls, steamed chicken dumplings, and fried rice. Every single dish was exquisite and full of flavor. I loved their pho broth very much. Even without the additional condiments like Hoisin Sauce, Oyster Sauce, Beef Paste, or Soy Sauce, the broth was phenomenal. The egg rolls were crispy, but not too crispy. They had the best combination of crunch with flavorful filling. They were perfect and not greasy like some other places. The steamed chicken dumplings were beautifully prepared. Not soggy or dry. They were soft and also served hot. The dumplings were served in a soy sauce/dumpling sauce/sesame oil/garlic oil mix. Very enjoyable and tasty. I enjoyed them immensely. So, the fried rice. Awesome. It wasn't greasy or had hard vegetables. The peas were soft as well as the carrots. Perfect. And the egg mixed in with the sauce they used paired well with enhancing the flavor of the rice. Next time I return, and I will return, I'm going to try the other dishes they offer. The waitresses were very friendly and also very attentive. The restaurant is a cozy, inviting place that made me feel chill and welcome. I enjoyed my visit and I recommend anyone who enjoys good food to visit as many times as you can. Wow! Awesome place!
