Pho N Wok

The food is amazing but do not order on DoorDash I received uncooked meat and blood in the bottom of the container I was told every cook makes it different I informed the staff that it should be cooked one way which is well done especially since the door dash app does not ask the customer how they want their meat cooked. She stated we are suppose to reheat the soup content to cook ot the rest of the way. This is not specified for the customer either. And again I have never had to do this when I have ordered it other places Because I live so far away I could not go back to pick up especially considering it was delivered The chicken shrimp lo mein was awesome I am sure the Pho soup would have been good as well but never had a opportunity to taste it The staff was pleasant and understanding all in all I will order again just in person or if the app allows us to specify how we want our meat to be cooked no one should make a assumption I was issued a refund customer service was great and her willingness to make it right

I decided to try this place for the first time and I’m so glad I did! Tucked away in a cute shopping center right off of 287. They state their food is made fresh and I attest to it. Their menu choices are expansive. I had the lunch Szechuan Chicken with white rice (long grain non sticky too). Hostess was gracious to ask my preference on how well cooked I like my vegetables & the degree of spicy. It was made perfectly to my satisfaction! Definitely will be back.

I was set up to dislike the initial because the menu is limited. Pho was in the title but I was disappointed by the selection. Decided to try the rest of the menu and happy we did. Everything is served very hot (temperature) so check it out first. Eggrolls were very tasty. Good size as well. Vegetables were made fresh. What we got did not seem frozen or reheated. Very crisp. Rice was a little salty. As some of the sauces were. Overall definantly good. They have a heat range of 1-5. For me 3 was pretty good heat. Haven't tried 4 and 5 yet. Most people get hot a forget the flavor. That wasn't a problem here. You do have to ask for pepper oil as it's not at the table. Overall good food. Good pricing. Service was good. There was one girl during the lunch rush. She wasn't perfect but her mistakes weren't bad. You do have to ask for chopsticks. Napkins were at the table.

I've got a beef with this Pho N Wok place... A yum yum, really good Special Combination beef and chicken Pho that is. :) Didn't know of Pho N Wok previously. Found this place from page 4 of the February 2024 edition of Midlothian Now magazine. Shame on me for missing it previously as it's conveniently located just off 4470 E. U.S. 287 and Presidential Pkwy in the Presidential Plaza. Everybody may be out there enjoying the Super Bowl '24 parties though they sure missed this Super Pho Bowl event. :) Great Pho is N Wok'ng distance of plentiful parking out front. Visited right before the Saturday evening dinner rush and was immediately greeted by the friendly, courteous and professional staff that gave us amazing service. Casual atmosphere offered to enjoy a nice meal. Started off with the Appetizer Sampler that included: 2 generously filled Fried Egg Rolls 4 delicious Cream Cheese Wontons 4 hot, fresh and crispy Fried Chicken Wings 2 lightly battered, nicely sized Fried Shrimp on a stick Also included were three dipping sauces with fish sauce, sweet and mildly spicy chili sauce. For entrees, we had: 1. Special Combination Pho with rare steak, brisket, meatball and chicken and rice noodles. Broth was clear, fresh and taste great. Pho N Wok even had the Huy Fong Foods Sriracha sauce at the table. This might not be a big deal to some, although anyone whose been to a Vietnamese restaurant selling Pho will know how much of a great condiment this is in Vietnamese and beyond cuisine. Didn't even have to spend $150+ for this that some were selling online when there was a market gap of this product. Hot chili oil and the defacto standard of bean sprouts, jalapenos, lime and basil condiments kicked the dish up another notch. 2. Fried, boldly flavored Lemon Chicken with a side of steamed fluffy white rice. 3. Combination (Chicken, Pork, Shrimp) Vietnamese Chow Mein that had stir fried carrots, Napa, bean sprouts, broccoli, mushrooms, water chestnuts, bamboo shoots, pea pods over crispy egg noodles. I'd recommend checking Pho N Wok out as I'm sure you'd be pleased. A big cảm ơn, xie xie, m goi, terima hasih and thank you to everyone at Pho N Wok for making this a great experience overall. Could use some updating inside still has painting from previous business. The rice was really good and the sampler was good. The general tso and orange chicken were good but the batter was a different texture and was soggy after being in the sauce. It was good just maybe a little crispier?

Hubby and I will usually travel an hour to our favorite Pho place, but today we stumbled upon Pho and Wok…right under our nose in our neighborhood. To our most pleasant surprise, it was fantabulous! He had Pho and I was craving the Szechwan chicken. Both delicious! They have a lunch menu for $10. Very filling and fresh to order. We’ll definitely be back.

Pho and Wok is another Midlo gem off 287. It is a quaint restaurant with limited seating. The flavor of our curry noodles and the Potstickers will have us coming back to try other dishes. If you're looking for good food, then don't pass up Pho and Wok!

Great food! We had the combo pho, the curry with noodles, the oyster wings, fried dumplings and house egg rolls. Everything was amazing, i forgot to take pictures of it all. Will definitely be back!

The spring rolls are worth the visit. Robust enough to be their own meal. Peanut sauce is great. I've only had the kung pao and lo mein and both were very good. Big portions and good amount of protein. Can't wait to try more.

We stopped by just to check out the space and menu here at Pho N Wok and ended up staying for dinner. It was quiet on this Thursday at 5:45 and then things exploded, filling up the small dining area rapidly and leaving to go orders standing or waiting in their vehicles. I can see why. The menu here is terrific. We love Vietnamese cuisine and tried the Vietnamese House Fried Egg Rolls and the Shrimp Spring Rolls. The fried rolls were stuffed with pork, rice paper wrapped and fried perfectly, served with a sweet nuoc cham. The Spring rolls were fresh rolled with 4 shrimp halves, vermicelli noodles, lettuce, bean sprouts and cilantro and served with a peanut sauce. They were large and tightly packed. They could have used some pickled veggies like carrots and or daikon; but otherwise they were well prepared and pretty yummy. It took us awhile to peruse the menu. There's more appetizers, and soup, pho, noodle salads and pork, beef, shrimp, chicken and vegetarian entrees that encompass Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese cuisine. I ordered a Chargrilled Pork Meatball Vermicelli Noodle Salad. They came back to say they were out of the Pork Meatballs; but they graciously charred some chicken for me instead. My husband ordered the Beef Curry. We both ordered a heat level of 3. Our entrees were both quite good and fairly spicy. My husband chose the fried rice instead of the steamed. He found it to be flavorful as it had some mini- vegetables and it paired well with his tender beef and mushrooms and crisp pea pods, carrots, and onions in the coconut milk curry sauce. My dish, the vermicelli noodle salad, needed salt for me. I found the nuoc cham dressing sweet and the pickled daikon and carrots sweet as well. My waitress was able to ask the kitchen for actual fish sauce. The menu identifies the served sauce as fish sauce; but it's a dressing or dipping sauce - their version of nuoc cham. It's a preference and my preference is sweet and salty, even a little sour, too. But the salad itself was excellent. Perfect vermicelli with veggies and delicious chicken. Our service was impeccable, in spite of how busy they were. Our food was scrumptious. We will be back to try the Pho and other delicious sounding entrees. They have various Pad Thai, Lo Mein, Vietnamese Chow Mein and Singapore Noodles. There's a lot here to choose from. It will be fun. Next time I'll get photos!

This place has the best wonton soup and pho i have ever had. the flavor in the broth is just better than anything i have ever had. This is a small place with 6-8 tables in it. The owners/staff were very kind and got food out pretty quickly. The food is great, give them a try! There is plenty of parking.

Made us both sick. My husband said it looks like they use crock pots to either cook or heat the food. Will not go back

We ordered orange chicken, sesame chicken, pepper steak, fried rice and steamed rice. Everything was delicious! I asked for level 5 spicy on the pepper steak and they weren't playin! It was spicy but so good! It was a great first experience! We will definitely go back.

Small place limited seating but fast friendly service and very, very good food. We had egg foo young and pork and vegetables both very good. Glad to have a great Pho and other spot in Midlothian. Will be back to try the Pho very soon

Really really good food here. I' ve tried the pho, egg rolls, fried rice, sesame chicken, sao chicken, chicken/beef chow mein and all of them have been excellent every time. I've only eaten at the restaurant (instead of takeout) like twice but the service was pretty good. Although it took a bit for the food to be cooked which is fine because you know it's made fresh. There's only like 6 tables there but other than that it's pretty nice there. Only thing that would stop me from coming here like weekly is the expense of the food. It costs like $50 to eat as a family anywhere else and like $90 here, the portions are pretty good though.

Daughter and I ate here yesterday for lunch, arriving about 1pm. Extensive menu provided. Pricing about typical for quantities and quality served. We had the Won Ton Soup Bowl and the Shrimp and Broccoli. Both were excellent. There are only a few tables - like maybe 4-4 tops and 3-2 tops, and it was about 1/2 full most of the time. Minimal decorations, but it seemed adequate. Food was served in 8-9 minutes from order time and all was hot, well presented, and tasted great. Next time we will branch out to other entrees. 12/07/23 ... Ate here for lunch yesterday, dining in ... all great again. Ordered pickup tonight for the family. Ready on time and all great food. They did forget part of one of our items, but THEY CALLED ME to let me know, just as I arrived home and offered to bring it to me. It arrived about 12 minutes later and was hot / fresh. Very impressed with these folks ...

So happy to have a good Asian option here in Midlo. Very solid Viet, Thai, and Chinese. Rare to find a place that can do all 3 well. I won't say each is 100% authentic however they are close and so far every dish I've tried has been very good. Solid 4 star spot for Asian, way better than other options nearby.

Service was superrrrr slow and waited about an hour and a half for my food. Food was meh

We are here for our second try. Our first visit was not so good. BUT this is a new business and we are not trying to bash anyone, just stating the true facts and not opinions. There are only 6 tables so we made sure we came right after we got off work to be sure we got a table! There was only one other couple there so hopefully we will have a better experience tonite. The cashier/order taker dude came out to bring us menus. He came back shortly and we ordered our drinks, the appetizer sampler and I ordered the Vermicelli noodle pork and babe trying the Singapore pork noodles again. Hopefully his noodles get to the right table tonite. We are just waiting for our food order that we placed 5 minutes ago.Ok that came out quick. Be right back! Sure to ask for silverware (we never got that last time.Wow . My food just also came. Hmm. Such an improvement from the last visit. Ok. Just waiting on babe's food. Tick tock. Oh boy. Hopefully it will Be out soon. Last visit he never got it!!! I just heard a bell ring!! Fingers crossed!!!Yay! It arrived! Will finish this review after we eat!!

The food is so good!! It is super busy and not much seating, but the wait is worth it! Suggestion order online and pick up!

Pretty solid food, decent vegan options. Vegan pho and pad thai are tasty- only complaint is every time I order from them it takes a long time to get my food. Even when I order ahead I often am waiting 15+ minutes when I arrive. That being said, I still come back because the ingredients are quality and in the area there aren't too many options for good Asian food.

We have tried this place twice. Food is excellent. The only reason I didn't give them a 5-star is because the spicy food has not meet my level of tolerance. I like it spicy. The food quality and food portions are excellent. Definitely shareable portions. The dining area is small, only a few tables but we haven't had a problem getting a table for dinner. We noticed a lot of people opt to take out. Can't wait to go back to try something new.

Best Chinese-Vietnamese food in Midlothian. We have visited all similar restaurants in Midlo and this is hands down the best.

The food here is amazing!! I've had the Kung Pao Beef (Spicy) about 3 times now and it does not disappoint. I also recommend the Fried Dumplings with the sauce. Service has always been great. Even when they are busy. The place is small so seating is limited but I'll tell you, it's worth the wait. Best Chinese in Ellis County!!

I got sick immediately after eating. I called the restaurant they said they would notify me if anyone else got sick!!!! Didn't offer to refund anything or compensate!!! Terrible

Food lacked a lot of taste. Nice people, but no water refills. It's a semi self service... they take your order and bring it, but not anything else. Cost is fair. Worth a lunch visit.

First time here, has been open about a month on October. Had a shrimp curry with fried rice. Very good. I asked for mild and it had a very good level of spice. The curry taste was smooth and not starchy, really wonderful. Price is acceptable. Not much inside seating but enough for everyone that came. A pretty busy restaurant in all. Mostly take out. 5 stars. Really good food, good price we joint. and maybe the best Asian food eatery in this area. Is certainly a come-backer. Looks like most of the orders are take out. Both it praises for this new joint.

Food was very good, but a 12.95 takeout entree turned into 15$ plus after they added a tip that I didn't realize until later. Will probably return because of food, but will keep a closer eye on the bill.

Food is great, service is extremely slow. Today, 40 minutes to get soup, another 20 for main course. They n ed additional staff to handle strictly takeout and allow wait staff to serve in-restaurant customers.

Great little hidden gem here. It's small, but the food is delicious. I am picky about my pho and haven't really been happy with anything else around this area, but this place it's the spot. Everything I have tried so far has been great! So happy to have this close by!

Overpriced menu. Lunch is $11 and very basic food lacking spice or flavor. After ordering a soup and tea the total was $25, for one person. Gave this place a try but will stick to my favorite spot a little closer to town.

Such nice service and the food is delicious. Had chicken pho and veggie pho the first visit. The broth of both were rich and flavorful. The second visit we had delightfully crispy egg rolls and tried one of their specialties. Big, perfectly cooked shrimp and veggies and awesomeness with their sesame chicken. We'll be back to this gem!

Food is just ok. The service was horrible. After an hour of waiting for our food, I finally asked for it to go. Still tool another 15 minutes to get it. The owner blamed everything on the server.

This is 5 stars for fast casual pho.. the Pho is great, every pho eater in my family liked it. The chicken lo mein was yummy and the orange chicken was so good. The house egg rolls are regular egg rolls with an extra wrapper to give them a crunch crispy outside. I order them (they are large) and my daughter prefers regular egg rolls.

Our new favorite go to restaurant in Midlothian! We tried it today, and we were all impressed. The shrimp spring rolls were fresh and tasty. My moo goo gai pan was the best I've had! It seems like a takeout place with just a few tables inside. Try it out if you want fresh Asian food here in Midlo!

This place is FIRE!! We typically drive to Dallas for Fort Worth to eat and I was pleasantly surprised to find this place close to home. Will definitely be back!

We tried Pho N Wok for the first time and it was amazing. The food is very fresh and delicious, we will definitely be back. There are very few tables so we chose take out. We ordered general Tso chicken, hot & spicy chicken and lettuce wraps and we have enough for another meal. So happy to have this little gem in Midlothian, best Chinese food in Ellis county.

Got our order to go. Hot, fresh and delicious ! Best oriental food in this area. Very small space, only a few tables. We will be back.
