The Best Pho in Atlanta

"The sleek white bar of Pho Nam is usually packed with people enthusiastically slurping up noodles or stuffing banh mi into their mouth. The pho combo has rare beef, meatballs, and fatty (phat-ty?) brisket and broth that only needs a little doctoring with your favorite condiments. Krog Street Market’s lunch and dinner rush mayhem is partially blocked out by the upside down parasols hanging from the ceiling and bar seating that faces the wall. Pho Nam’s pho won’t win any awards, but it’s a dependable option, especially if your crew can’t decide on a food genre and want to explore multiple options in the food hall. " - juli horsford

Google
Got a great vermicelli bowl today. Everything was super fresh, and the sauces and accoutrement were thoughtfully packaged even though I was just walking across the market to eat it. Textures and flavors were great, and this meal really hit the spot. Lovely team behind the counter, and the service was quick and friendly.

Google
the chicken bahn mi 10/10 stars for me!! also very nice woman in the front with great customer service! definitely will be back

Google
We got a combo pho, beef pho, and shrimp spring rolls. I think they could have added more meat and noodles because when I first looked at my bowl, it just looked like soup. The soup was strong and flavorful though. However, service was slow. It took forever to get our orders in and for the food to be made. I think some of their stuff is overpriced, but if it’s flavorful and filling, I’m game. They separate the bean sprouts (wish I had more), basil, jalapeños, and lime in a plastic bag with sriracha and hoisin sauce in cups. The spring rolls were definitely chewy but were packed. I haven’t had a spring roll with breaded shrimp until now.

Google
such good taro tea and the sweetest woman at the counter! best price for boba at krog and lots of places to sit :)

The new Bon Bon Chicken is seasoned to perfection. Doesn’t even need sauce.

Google
The food here is delicious it’s my main go to of the market every time.

Google
We stopped here on our way driving through Atlanta. Their food was good, but after having some really good Vietnamese in Anaheim and New York City, this was good but not great. The atmosphere was fun, and overall, was a good experience. Parking in the lot costs $4 an hour.

Google
Amazing food and drinks! Super affordable. Highly recommended. Tried the Vietnamese coffee (10/10), Pina Colada (10/10) and Bon Bon chicken (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️)

Yelp
This is hands down, one of the best pho I've had. The owners originated from California where the Viet food scene was super competitive, so they can't make compromises. The broth is full of protein, Smokey flavor, and hint of ginger taste. Very legit. Highly recommended and worth a visit. Cheers.

Yelp
This place was phenomenal and the P.2 Beef Pho add shrimp which was amazing!! i rate 10/10 the vibes were impressive and cozy and the service was amazing, the lady is the sweetest and gave me extra bean sprouts to go!! i will be back again to try the boba

Yelp
My workplace ordered takeout last Wednesday from here. I can't speak on ambiance or service, but I really enjoyed my meal choice! I got the Chicken Pho and was blown away. The broth was so flavorful, the noodles were the perfect consistency, and all of the usual accoutrements were fresh and tasty. I almost finished my entire bowl in one sitting and I never do that. I definitely want to come in some time soon and enjoy more!
google avatar

Yelp
The pho here is really solid. The broth is flavorful and not too salty, with a nice depth that tastes like it's been simmering for hours. The noodles were a little softer than I prefer, but the beef was tender and delicious. Service was quick and friendly. The place can get pretty busy, but it's worth it for a comforting bowl of pho.

Yelp
Great Pho dishes with friendly service. The food comes out fast and hot. The portions are large and moderately priced

Yelp
I was pretty happy with the bahn mi! The price was decent. Food didn't take too long to come out. Lots of seating at the counter if you choose to eat inside the food hall.

Yelp
Great place to pick up a bowl of Pho along the belt-line. Service was fast and friendly and the food was very good. Will definitely stop here again.

Yelp
Kicking off AIPHM with a delicious Banh Mi from Pho Nam ATL was one of the best decisions of my May so far. After a busy morning of working, getting settled from my move and a doctors appointment, I had built up quite the appetite and set my sights on lunch. With so many amazing Asian-owned businesses in Atlanta, it was so difficult to make a choice from all of the delicious culinary options available to me. Finally, I decided on one of my favorite Vietnamese specialties - Pork Banh Mi! Even after a year in Atlanta, it blew my mind that I hadn't found my top Banh Mi spot, as it was a bi-weekly treat for myself back in Florida. Lucky me, I came across Pho Nam ATL thanks to Yelp! Located in Krog Street Market, Pho Nam ATL is small, but mighty. Offering a line of bar-esque seating for those who prefer to dine in, you can also pop in and order your food to go at their counter. I was only looking for a quick lunch on this day so I ordered at the front with a sweet woman who chatted me up about local events. I ordered a Pork Banh Mi but wished I could have one of everything, lol. She stated that my order would be up in about 15-20 minutes, so I took a seat and thought I'd get some work done on my phone while I waited. Not even 10 minutes later, my order was up. Love getting an order sooner than expected lol it felt like Christmas. Let me tell you - that sandwich barely made it out of the car. It smelled sooo good and I had to take a picture... the temptation was too much. I took a bite and it was all joy from there. The fresh carrots, the hits of cilantro, the flavorful pork - omg. I was so pissed when I looked down and it was gone. I truly hope no one was looking at me eat that because ya girl went to town. Obviously, I was a fan at first bite. Next time I'll get two sandwiches.

Madison N.

Yelp
This is our favorite Vietnamese spot in ATL! We've tried just about every Bahn Mi in and around town.....Pho Nam has the best one by far!!! We also LOVE the Bon Bon Chicken - super flavorful, not too spicy, extra crispy....sooo good! Cherry on top that everyone who works here is so kind. Love this place!

Yelp
Was not thrilled with the phô. Broth was ok. No packets of bean sprouts, cilantro, basil and lime provided like many other Phô restaurants. Prices posted from their website were pre-covid, so when our order was placed and the price given, we were in shock. It was over $20 more than it would've cost before Covid. They need to change their website to reflect the accurate prices. Lastly, when you go pick up your food, you have to pay to park. Overall, not our best experience.

Yelp
This place is sooooo good!! Cute spot I think perfect for date night. The pho is amazing. The service was also quick and helpful.

Yelp
The bahn mi at Pho Nam is legit! The French bread is perfect. Crusty on the outside, soft on the inside. The marinated meat is really something special. It's succulent and juicy and flavorful. Really makes a nice base of the sandwich. The veg was good but the cilantro was mostly just the stems and only a few leaves, so I didn't get a whole bunch of cilantro flavor in there. But on the whole, a really nice sandwich!

Yelp
Out of all the food hall restaurants to try, this is the one that I picked and I was okay with my decision. You can sit at the bar there and eat so you don't have to worry about seating even though there's plenty of seating throughout the food hall. You'll run maybe around 15 to $17 for a meal and you can get pho or you can get a vermecelli bowl. I got the bowl with chicken and it was pretty good. Now for the size of the boat it wasn't really a lot, considering I would expect it to be full for the most part. It came with a lot of vegetables, a spring roll (which was the size of a baby leg), chicken and noodles, and it came with a couple of sauces. Now you could barely see the noodles because there weren't that many of them so it made the bowl look a little bit empty considering the fact that if you had gotten ramen it will be full to the brim (even though ramen has broth). So I feel like you don't get enough considering how much you're paying but what you do pay for it does taste good. Now also, the sauces that they gave I need it to put on the meal. I feel like it wasn't good standalone, it wasn't good just as is, even though the chicken was seasoned. I felt like whatever the soy ginger sesame sausage gave, I think that's what it was, had to happen for the food to be good like I expected to be good. It was only okay without the sauce. I actually ordered a couple more and basically dumped it on my meal. It was a okay meal without a, but the sauce definitely took it somewhere. It just makes me think to the fact to wear if I need sauce to make the meal a success, it was only a par meal to begin with. At least the sauce was good! That's the positive part about it, I loved the sauce. Overall, it was a pretty ok experience, but I know if there are better restaurants there, and better Asian aspired restaurants in the area. Would I go back if I was in the area, it's possible but not for sure. Am I upset with my experience, absolutely not. The service was super friendly and super nice. Honestly But I feel like I can get more bang for my buck elsewhere honestly. Especially because they're about 15 other spots in this specific Krog street market food hall to try.

Yelp
Asked for extra protein and they barely put any more in the soup. Mediocre taste based on other pho shops I've had Value doesn't equate to price

Yelp
Great food, amazing service. The owner is super sweet and attentive. I got the spring roll(shrimp), the best one i've had. It was super fresh, and the shrimp was well seasoned. I also had a strawberry frozen beverage , it was delightful and refreshing. Itnisnlocated in Krogs market. Well kept and clean, I will be back.

Grayson W.

Yelp
We had the Chicken pho, the shrimp spring rolls, and pork Banh Mi. All the food was great! The Banh Mi was the best I ever had and customer service was quick and allowed us to eat quickly. Great area to eat in to very quaint and feels extremely homely.

Yelp
This place is amazing. Food is delicious. Service is personalized and friendly. And the whole location inside the Krog district is just a total vibe and I'm here for it all. If you're in ATL, I highly recommend stopping by.

Yelp
The soup had a nice taste and flavor. The food came out really fast. The cost was kind of pricey.

Yelp
Pho Nam is my go-to restaurant at Krog Street Market! The beef Pho is always fresh and delicious, and so are their shrimp spring rolls. I recommend this place to everyone looking for good Vietnamese food in the area.

Yelp
Came with R to Krog Street Market to meet up with a friend of ours, whom we had not seen since right before the pandemic started last year, for a Wednesday "catch up" lunch. After walking around the loop of food vendors, we all decided to eat at PHO NAM ATL, which is located close to the main common dining area. The PHO NAM ATL space is clean throughout and cluttered around the counter where customers place their orders. The face masked and gloved employee at the counter was very nice and efficient. We were the only customers in line and, after she welcomed us and asked what we wanted to order, the employee patiently answered our questions that we had about the food while the three of us were deciding what we wanted. R and I both ordered the grilled pork bahn mi; our friend ordered the shrimp vermicelli bowl. We sat at the far end of the same long counter that served as the order counter, and, since there were only four stools at the counter, we were easily able to socially distance from others. We waited for about 15 minutes for our food to be served to us. I really wasn't impressed with the grilled pork bahn mi sandwich. Although the baguette was flakey, it was also on the chewy side and borderline hard/crunchy (not good). The amount of shredded carrots placed in the sandwich was so much that the flavor of the minimal amount of grilled pork was almost completely lost. This sandwich was mostly a crunchy spicy veggie one because of the jalapenos and the abundance of carrots. I could even taste the cilantro and pickled daikon more than the meat. R and I hadn't compared notes on our bahn mis until much later, but he thought the same things about his sandwich and was also disappointed. Our friend liked her shrimp vermicelli bowl. For what the three of us got, I don't feel we got our money's worth. To begin with, the food at PHO NAM ATL is way overpriced (about 50% more) compared with other Vietnamese restaurants in the Atlanta area, and the small amount of meat in the grilled pork bahn mi was just sad. The service was good, though.

Sarah M.

Yelp
The food is great, def try them out. My favs are the shrimp spring rolls and the vermicelli, don't forget to get either Thai ice tea or Vietnamese coffee.

Yelp
Used to be our go to pho place off the belt line but quality and service has taken a nose dive. Ate here for dinner with the fam tonight and we ordered the beef and chicken pho bowls. The bowls left everything to be desired. The broth lacked the rich heartiness of classic pho, no basil, a stingy 2 jalapeño slices and just look at the sad excuse for what are supposed to be noodles. This was the deal breaker for me. Clumpy noodles that disintegrated on the chopstick. No thank you! PS: would have given 1 star but gave them 2 for the memories of what used to be a fantastic spot To quench your pho craving.
google avatar

Faith F.

Yelp
Chicken pho has a sweet taste didn't like broth not in the menu the strawberry smoothie was made by Owen we was good
google avatar

Buse C.

Yelp
I ordered the beef pho and it was seriously on point! The beef broth was flavorful and piping hot. The beef was tender with tasty fatty bits. I added sriracha to make it a little spicy because I love a spicy pho. I also bought a ginger soda which was also very delicious.
google avatar

Shan S.

Yelp
Really loved the food and vibe here, but as there is a mask mandate in Atlanta and the cashier nor the people in the kitchen are wearing everything. This is during a serious surge of Covid. And the pho is gluten free, I would say it's an 8/10. Very decent. But where every single person is wearing a mask in Krog street market is wearing a mask, at minimum I would expect the restaurants to comply. If you believe in Covid, and where we are right now with it, I would skip this place. Seems like a place that belongs in the suburbs, not the city.

Simran K.

Yelp
this was the most amazing discovery for me here in atlanta on business. if you have never been, you MUST stop by. Not only is it freshly made to order, but the ingredients are so good. I had pho and the spring rolls. so much food too! The owner came over to see how it was. AMAZING!!! will come back again and will send all of my friends who come to atlanta for the trade shows. amazing!!!!!!

Lazus7 ..

Yelp
Amazing food and such a friendly service. We had the chicken pho and the vermicelli, both were very tasty!
google avatar

Roann T.

Yelp
Pho nam is located inside Krog Street market, and it's the perfect place inside the market for satisfy all your Vietnamese food cravings. They serve a variety of pho, banh mi, and vermicelli. I was lucky enough to talk my family into getting different things so I could try a little of everything (unfortunately no one wanted the pho so I'll have to come back to try that). We got the two chicken vermicelli's and 1 chicken pho. In my opinion they were a little pricey; it was around $40 for those three entrees without any drinks. There is bar style seating, but if it's full there are plenty of other seating areas in the market. If you sit at the bar they will bring you your food. The banh mi was by far my favorite and it was so filling that I had more than enough to take home. The pho in my opinion needed a little bit more spice but there are a couple of different peppers and sauces you can add to liven it up!
google avatar

Michael W.

Yelp
Pleasant place to eat at . Not a huge space but enough to eat a early dinner or lunch anytime . Surrounded by other little restaurants but the "Pho" is def good . My only issues are the no water only bottled and the place prices are a little higher than other places a smidge but it's always consistent that's what I like .

Bamm T.

Yelp
I had to beef pho. The broth was ok, but the portions are pretty small. Maybe it's a location, but to me it wasn't worth it.
google avatar

Megan M.

Yelp
Such a cute little place and pretty quick. This pho is very simple and very good. I admire that they keep it simple without extra frills
google avatar

Britt S.

Yelp
Best Pho I've had since leaving LA! The chicken pho was what we got at the Krog location. The broth was full of flavor. The fish left me full!! The noodles were thin, with the perfect texture. I enjoyed the white chicken in the pho. They didn't skimp on it! Large pieces that were an added delight. The location is packed with good places to eat, but I'm glad i chose this one - the wait was quick and the atmosphere in front of us was neat to look at with all the commotion behind us

C R.

Yelp
This place would be amazing if they would stop putting an overwhelming amount of BLACK PEPPER on every dish. I've gone back several times now and have had both a bahn mi and pho and I'm shocked at how much black pepper these folks put on their dishes. I get home and open my food and once again there's a ton of pepper on the food. Pretty disappointed.
google avatar

Vignesh T.

Yelp
In my opinion I think pho nam has the best chicken bahn mi's in Atlanta. The chicken is especially soft and seasoned, and overall very well cooked. They're about only $10 too. I recommend asking for a side of their hot sauce because it compliments the bahn mi really well.
google avatar

Shawn W.

Yelp
Located in the Krog Street Market, Pho Nam is a fantastic place to grab Pho, Banh Mi, Noodles, or Spring Rolls. I have it on good authority that they make their ingredients from scratch. While in town I had their Combo Pho, Pork Banh Mi, and several orders of Spring Rolls...over multiple days. They're family owned and greet every customer with the upmost politeness. I would recommend Pho Nam to be your first choice in the Krog Market. Oh, and they also have great Vietnamese coffee
google avatar

Wonderwand B.

Yelp
Very quick service and excellent food. I had ordered the combo pho and my brother the pork vermicelli bowl with a Thai iced coffee. Him being a 10+ year long chef, I was astounded at his reaction towards his order. Everything was perfect. Pho Nam is the place to be. UwU

Yelp
The chicken pho was excellent better than I had before at other places. It was served hot and stayed hot down to the very end it was so flavorful. meatballs and chicken was on point that I tore that shit up!!. i'll be back. Thanks for the great service Joe.

Yelp
Located in my favorite food hall, Krog street Market, Pho Nam is the place to go for all your Vietnamese cravings! They have quite a bit of arrays to choose from; options including: Pho to Vermicelli Noodles Bowl to Banh Mì sandwiches! Today i had dinner with a friend and with the cold and rainy drab weather pho was exactly what i needed! I got the Beef Pho which came with the beef brisket and my friend got the vegetarian pho which came with tofu! I absolutely loved my entree and loved the fresh jalapeños as well as the bean sprouts toppings! They also have sriracha and hoisin sauce which both tasted amazing in the pho! I also got the crispy imperial rolls which were so fresh they melted in my mouth! Lastly, i love how warm and welcoming Michael aka " Bueller" was to my friend and I! He gave great recommendations and was super helpful which led to a great experience! Thank you for such amazing customer service experience on this cold day! It made the walk in the rain all the more worth it!

Yelp
I got the combo pho and the shrimp spring rolls. Both were great. Service was great and fast.
google avatar

Yelp
One of the numerous eateries within Krog Street Market. They serve three classic Vietnamese dishes: pho, vermicelli, and banh. (soup, noodles, and sandwiches) By mixing and matching the proteins and vegetables there are numerous options available. Savory and hot, my beef pho was very good. Reasonably priced, service was very quick even on the very busy night I was there.
google avatar

Megan K.

Yelp
I loved my pork vermicelli bowl that had fresh and bold flavors. The food was delicious and healthy, service was fast during a busy lunchtime, and the price is good for the Krog Street Market. Especially the crunchy spring roll! That was literally the best part. It's started to feel chill out in the Atlanta fall air, but this food will warm you right up.
google avatar

Jeremy B.

Yelp
This is my go to spot for a good lunch . I really enjoy their vermicelli noodz dish. Ahhh it fills you up & tastes sooo good with the vegetarian spring roll. You can't go wrong with a noodz dish or even a bowl of delicious pho. The pho will surely hit the spot. I've been here upon multiple occasions & it's always good to me.

J. R.

Yelp
Amazing food!! I had the Vermicelli noodles bowl with shrimp and my husband got the veggie pho with shrimp. Both were super flavorful! Great spot for authentic Vietnamese dishes. I'll definitely come back! Our compliments to the wonderful chef! Cảm ơn
google avatar

Uma P.

Yelp
What a cute spot at Krog street! Great service with delicious food. Got the vermicelli noodles with chicken and loved it a lot! Delicious choice for sure! Sat at the bar area. It's krog street so the space is small. Prices are good, good food too! Definitely would come here again. Delicious:)

Andrew B.

Yelp
Place had excellent food and was a solid little spot in Krog street with good service!
google avatar

Jawon J.

Yelp
Eh, first time having PHo. Doesn't seem legit. Prices are high, flavors aren't rich, and there's just something missing about the experience. Wouldn't come back here, nothing special, nothing to miss. Would rather go try a new place or just eat somewhere else. If you're inside the market and must have pho, I guess this is suitable, but I believe there's a place next door with pho as well. Will probably be a better option and a better price. Simply this isn't worth the price, experience, or taste. Had to put a bunch of salt and other seasonings to make it worth eating. Disappointing. Ruined my first pho experience. Go elsewhere
google avatar

Melissa R.

Yelp
Soooo I typically am not a fan of Pho. I never got into the hype because for me it's just soup lol Ive been to a few pho spots around the city but was never really impressed .. until NOW. I came into KSM on a rainy Monday and naturally I wanted something warm because it is freezing in Atlanta right now. This pho was just what I needed! The broth was delicious and the amount of meat in the dish was very filling. I would definitely recommend this place moving forward
