Pho Sai Gon Vietnamese Restaurant

The store was exceptionally clean compared to other Pho restaurants, with newly upgraded facilities. The friendly staff greeted us warmly upon our arrival. However, the quality of the Pho had noticeably declined. The soup was plain and salty, unlike its previous taste. The punch of brisket beef for the large size was quite dried and lacked flavor. Despite being a regular customer for a couple of years, I must admit that the Pho quality has not been up to par lately. Nevertheless, I will give it another chance.

It was ok. Decor could use some upgrades. Food was alright, nothing to shout out about. Service could use some improvement, wait staff hardly checked on us. Prices are fair.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. I have tried many dishes here. Anything you order, you can be guaranteed, will be fresh, flavorful and delicious. I especially recommend any of the Bahn Mi’s along with the meatball pho. Today I tried the Mi Bo Kho and egg rolls. It was a 10/10 perfect lunch. In addition the staff is always very kind and the food comes out very quickly!

New menu, good and nice employee. Seems like one of the good restaurants around here. Not a lot or Viet food around. We need more!!!

The phö is always excellent, I tried the Mi Bo Kho and it is my absolute new favorite 🙌 I always get the vietnamese coffee and the pork spring rolls are fresh and great. Also, the service is always awesome and everything comes out very quickly! We always come back. This place is honestly extremely popular, I'll bring it up to my friends and family and they've already been here many times. No it's not a "pretty" restaurant per say but who cares?

I have been eating at this place for several years. Unfortunately, the original owners retired, but the new owner (s) has made a few changes, the combos are not part of the menu anymore, my favor loose leaves tea is not available, I learned the hardest way when I ordered a hot tea and got the kettle with a lifton tea bag inside. Pho was good. This place says it closes at 8pm. I stopped by ar 6:45 on 11/26/2025, and it was closed.

Very clean restaurant with attentive staff. I drove into Houston for lunch and have been wanting to come back here. It was a long drive, but it was definitely worth it. We got the appetizer sampler that was enough for 3 or 4 ppl. It was just me and Sherry Ann, so it was a lot of food for just us two. It came with chicken satay skewers, fried rolls, and fresh spring rolls. We also had the fried rice and the pho with brisket, eye round, and tendon. I like the pho very satisfying and full of flavor. The tea and iced coffee were strong and rich, both great things. I wish this place was closer to me as I would be a regular complete with a favorite table tucked away where no one can hear me slurp my noodles.

Service is very good. They remember to give you everything you need (utensils, etc.) and they always get our order right. And your order comes out in no time at all. The workers are friendly and the dining area is clean. In the past when we visited, we truly enjoyed everything they served, but when we visited for dinner yesterday (12/20/17), I was disappointed because only the soup was flavorful; the rice dish with seafood & vegetables was bland and had too much cornstarch in it. Even the spring roll was so-so. Still a pleasant experience though because of the great service. They accept credit cards, including AMEX. And it’s right next to a Half Price Bookstore.

We never got our egg rolls. Check your ticket they added an extra meal and drink! We went back and they argued with us b fire giving us a credit.

A solid place to get your pho fix. It wouldn't be my first choice, but it's quick, convenient and reliable! Ordered the pho nam bo vien, and it was flavorful and had plenty of protein. Service was great too!

Added some pics since my review, but still loving this spot! This is my MFing spot!! I used to go to another spot closer to me off of barker cypress, but eventually I could never get through to place phone orders. On top of that a good friend of mine said I need to go back to this spot, so it all ended up working out. It had been years since I had been back to Pho Saigon, but I'm so glad it all happened this way. The pho is straight better than the old spot I used to frequent, plus their Vietnamese egg rolls are sooooo good. I usually get the #12 large and eat all of it, and of course drink the broth I have left over. Easy to phone in your order then walk in and pick it up no problem. They also recently added a rewards program that I'm all about, plus they're already cheaMy fav pho spot in the area.

Best pho spot here so far! The food is just as amazing as its counterpart in the Katy area. We got here at 12pm on a Sunday and didn't have to wait for a table like we usually do in Katy. The ambiance is calm and nicely decorated. My pho broth was on point and super flavorful. I will definitely be coming back again and again.

Wanted to try chicken pho for the first time and found this restaurant came nicely reviewed so we decided to give it a try. The staff is properly attentive, when we walked in we were immediately seated. The waiter came back by to ask what we wanted to drink, we also decided to order our appetizer and meal at that time. I ordered shrimp spring rolls with no bean sprouts. We also ordered vegetarian spring rolls. The spring rolls were fresh, and the peanut sauce was tasty! We really appreciated their willingness to modify them for us. The chicken pho came out quick and it was delicious. Very light, fragrant, and delicious. I ordered a large, and it was enough to eat for lunch and dinner. I also ordered extra rice noodles so when I ate it later I had some noodles left that weren't soggy. Sometime while we were eating they brought the bill and then when I was ready to leave I was able to bring it up to the register to pay. I love this as I don't have to wait on the waiter to come around. They also don't pressure you to leave which is nice.

I've been here a few times many years ago and visited recently again. I remembered it being better than what I experienced a few weekends ago. This Pho Saigon location does have more menu offerings compared to other pho Saigon locations, which is nice because they also offer a combo option. I opted for the pho combo with fried egg roll and a can of sprite. I thought the pho was okay, but not as flavorful as the other Pho Saigon locations I've visited recently. The egg rolls were yummy, no complaints there. My partner ordered their Banh Mi Bo Kho and salted lemonade drink. To say the least, he did not enjoy his meal at all. Banh Mi Bo Kho was bland and the salted lemonade drink was terrible. We've have many salted lemonade drinks and I think that was one of the worst ones I've ever tasted. Not sure if the soda they used was at the end of its life or if the salted lemon was over its best by date. Either way, I probably won't be back here. Service was nice, although it didn't really feel super clean on the inside. Maybe I visited on an off day as my sister loves this location.

We just had the most delicious lunch at this location. We had been referred and this was our first visit and it was a great choice. My wife had the seafood noodle bowl (item 100) and bragged about the broth, fish balls, shrimp, but found the squid chewy. I tasted the broth and it was the best broth, rich in flavors, and an excellent base for all of their noodle soups. I had the Pad Thai and it was the best. Our lunch orders came quickly and were hot and the ingredients were fresh. The servers were on the spot and friendly and the restaurant was very clean and inviting. We are looking forward to our next visit. Oh BTW, they have a reward program so remember to ask the cashier to sign you up.

This restaurant has truly leveled up since the new owners took over. The service is top-notch and the food is incredibly authentic, flavorful, and fresh. Best of all, everything is prepared with no MSG added. Highly recommend!

First and last time! The pork sandwiches meat are full of hairs all over!!!!!! when my husband took a bite it was so noticeable. I took a look at my sandwich and same thing. The only reason we order here was because our spot is close today on Wednesday . I was starving and this killed my appetite.

If you are looking for a good bowl of Pho, this is your place. Broth is hot and rich, meat is tender, flavor is on point, price is reasonable. Came here on a Saturday night, we were seated right away. Causal and fast dining experience, great choice for dinner on a cold fall night. Highly recommend their beef pho.

THE WORST PHO EXPERIENCE EVER A coworker/friend recommended that I give this place a try because he and his wife are fans and speak so highly of it. I must say though, I HATED IT! I was starving when I arrived. Upon entering, I was greeted by a joker-type smiley face small and friendly hostess, lol. She was genuinely friendly and welcoming. I'm giving them two stars based on her bubbly personality alone. She was such a sweetheart. However, if I were rating this establishment on cleanliness, customer service, and quality of food alone, I would give them zero stars. First off, there was a weird aroma floating around in the atmosphere like the smell of a dirty mop, which can only mean that the floors are being mopped with a dirty mop. The stench was so overwhelming that I couldn't smell the aroma of the food cooking in the kitchen, which was really weird because a restaurant is supposed to smell like food is being cooked. I did not smell any cooked food aromas wafting in the atmosphere. The dining area wasn't clean and the tables and chairs were old and rotting wood. There was white tape on all of the legs of the dining chairs which appeared negligent and tasteless. I noticed that there was not too many guests dining but there were many to-go orders being picked up. The ambience was noisy like that of a hospital cafeteria, dull and drably. Secondly, the older lady that took my order was not friendly at all and she was sort of rude in her approach towards me. As I was sitting at the table waiting for service, she walked over to me and handed me a menu and asked me what I want to order and if it's for dine-in or to-go. I told her that it is a to-go order and I asked if they had shrimp Pho. She was snappy and short in her response to my question informing me that they do not have shrimp pho as an option but they have seafood Pho. After finding it on the menu and reading what type of seafood is in it, while she was hovering and towering over me, I decided to go with the seafood pho so she could stop standing over me with her impatient energy. I don't know why I spent my money at this place. I should have turned around and walked out. However, if I would have walked out, then I would not be able to share my thoughts with you all about this establishment. Furthermore, the seafood pho consists of crab meat, fish balls, squid, and shrimp. I was so excited to try it out because it sounded so appetizing. However, after I got home and opened my bags to look at my food, I discovered only one shrimp that was not fully deveined and two pieces of imitation crab meat. I was highly disappointed! I do not like imitation crab meat. To top it off, I was given chicken broth instead of beef broth, which was my fault for not specifically ordering the beef broth. However, at other Vietnamese Pho restaurants, I've always been asked for my preference on which flavored broth I would like, but not at this establishment. The customer service was very cold and unwelcoming. I truly regret my experience with this restaurant. It was a waste of my energy and money, but I guess you lose some and you win some. I'll take the L as a learning experience. Plus it gives me the opportunity to help some other poor soul about deciding if they should give this place a try. Trust me people, it's not worth it. Overall, this establishment did not sit well with me at all. They need to make some serious repairs on their building because it's old and smelly. They need to replace the tables and chairs and get with the program because presentation is everything. I will never return to give them a second chance unless these conditions are met.

Best pho ever! I've been coming here since 2007 and no matter how far I live, I will always come back. Their portions are great, but it's the flavors that keep bringing me back. It's very clean and the staff are very friendly.

We love the chicken pho, their egg rolls but we didn't like the rice very much. Their soup seems very fresh and filling!

Came here for the first time today really excited about the pho because of so many good reviews. I ordered #16 and opened the chilis to out some in my pho and about 15 mini bugs that looked exactly like the red pepper fell out and started scrambling all over the table. I can't imagine how long that has been like that and what else are they not changing out that's causing bug infestation. I was really looking forward to eating there but I won't be returning unfortunately.

I got the small white meat chicken pho I usually get pho tai both are phenomenal. Best pho in Houston and fills me up everytime for a great price. I always spice mine up with sriracha and chili oil of course all the toppings I come here atleast once a week they are closed on Tuesdays but 10/10 recommend and the service is great drinks and food come out super fast great lunch spot I will continue to come here as long as they're open please support so I can eat here the rest of my life lol thank you!

I came into this lovely establishment with my girlfriend around 3 minutes before closing unaware of its business hours, and they still gladly seated us down, and took our order with patience and hospitality instead of saying they were closed and turning us away. The food was absolutely beyond fantastic and the broth in the pho was spectacular. The service was great and very authentic. By the end of my dinner when I had to pay my card was having issues and the man at the front was very patient and kind and even offered me and my girlfriend to come back and pay for it tomorrow knowing we were having problems. Eventually we called the bank and got things to work and the man showed us so much respect and hospitality even without knowing a bit about us. I will definitely be coming back over and over again. May god bless this wonderful business and its generosity and compassion.

The best Bun Bo Hue I've had in a while. They give generous portions of meat and noodles. Their fried rice is also good. Would definitely recommend to friends and others to come try.

PHO-Tastic! :-) This spot will definitely be added to my PHO restaurant rotation... Called in the order, arrived in less than 10 mins and it was ready. Meat, veggies, noodles were all fresh and flavorful. Yummy, yummy, yummy!! :-) There really isn't much more I can say... Delish!

Food: extremely small portion of lemon grass beef. This is why you all get three stars lol for being cheap! Don't skimp your clients! Small ass portion lol. Where you trying to feed a baby? I'm definitely not a baby. Pretty shocked you brought out that small ass portion of lemon grass beef lmao. The lemon grass beef was extremely small but very tasty. The egg rolls were different. Had some black lentils or something in there. Not sure what they were. Definitely different. The soup was really good. The rice and egg were on point. Service: great service! Good came out fast. People are very friendly. Value: not great value for small portion of lemon grass beef. This review could have easily been four or five star review but you al had to skimp me and Serve me hardly any lemon grass beef. Don't be cheap lol The pho Saigon on Tidwell was much better.

To begin the inside was very clean and the service was polite and quick and for that I'll give 2 stars. I ordered the Pho Tai chin. The broth was not the best I've tasted, it was basically beef bouillon seasoned water. The bowl had a very faint smell like as if it were dried off with a mildewy dish rag after it had been washed. I couldn't tell what it was but I would get it every so often just not with every bite. The noodles broke apart easily, I prefer the stronger ones of higher quality. Everything was going well until I saw the extra protein there at the bottom of my bowl. Never coming back again

I've come here several times over the past few years. The food is always consistently good, but man their prices have drastically increased. The "shaking beef" item 102. Is now $17.55 to get with fried rice. There's so many other options in the area with lower prices for good quality Vietnamese as well I am not sure I'll be back here for a while if at all.

I'm knocking this place up to 5 stars because I think it's one of two of the best Vietnamese restaurants in 77095. They have way more than your ordinary "banh mi, bobo & pho". Try something new. They have a ton of soup options including Bun Bo Hue. I think this place is pretty much on par with places you're gonna find on Bellaire. You might check their schedule because they aren't open every day. Lunch time sometimes gets busy but the place is big enough to always find a seat. Overall I'll recommend them for consistency and being better than a lot of other Vietnamese places in the local area.

This place has been My Wife and I favorite place to go too! The chicken broth is so amazing and other items on the menu are great! The waitress is soo attentive and always kind. The environment is quiet and relaxing to just sit back and enjoy the great food. Ive been trying other pho places and i can say i have not found a spot to top this one off!! The management is super nice as well! 10/10

This place really surprised me because I was not expecting to love their Pho. I have visited this place about 4 times and I've not been disappointed. I actually frequently crave their Pho. I normally would try the beef or chicken pho but I recently ate the shrimp pho. All have been delicious. The only thing I might change about this restaurant is they only have canned drinks vs a soda machine. This place is never packed and they serve food quickly. Overall I would recommend this place if you enjoy eating pho. And you have to try the egg rolls because they are amazing!

Absolute trash viet food, honestly the egg rolls were disgusting how can you mess up an egg roll? That alone tells you this place along with everything else we ordered was trash. We got the pad Thai which was salty and beyond greasy, Spring rolls that had a nasty lettuce smell and the hard cardboard spring rolls filled with dog food. Just nasty. Don't go save your money!

If there's no time for Chinatown, this is my go to Vietnamese spot near me. With the spacious seating availability to the quick and friendly service, you're bound to be comfortable to come in with just your sweats with no makeup. The food is decent and they have a wide variety of different plates. I typically get the pho. Next time I'll have to try the Vietnamese crepe (banh xeo). I had eggrolls today that were crispy and filling. It came with pickled carrots and lettuce with a side of fish sauce. Not bad for a place next to me.

Very refreshing, great flavor and service. The food is always good. We come here everyday after the gym to eat and the quality is always great. Staff is very friendly and attentive food comes out fast too. Love this place.

I have been several times before but been about a year I been bc of COVID. Overall it's ok but price went up. Especially price of the drink is high. A can of soy been most place no more than $2 for each - here $3.65. Cafe Sua Da is $5.35 and on average $3.50. Lunch for 2 ppl was $51.84.

tl:dr There are an abundance of better pho places with better service and better prices. Do not waste your time or money here. I'm a big fan of pho. I go out with my brothers as often as we can to get pho, it's a nice routine we have and it always makes us happy. However, when we went to get pho last, all of our regular places happened to be close, so I looked up reviews for nearby pho places and saw that a good rated pho place was this one. I find most pho spots to always be pretty solid with nice staff, I have rarely had bad experiences. However, this trip was unpleasant, which is uncharacteristic of our pho visits. The service, while not horrible, was by no means decent. Our server was rude, she was asking some personal questions about my brothers schooling which at first just seemed like casual conversation and general interest, but we ended up finding a bit prodding and strange to hear from a stranger. The prices were high for mid-tier food. I didn't bat an eye to it at first because I truthfully think most pho places should have higher prices for the quality of food, but not only were the prices higher than most pho places I have been to, but the food was worse and some came with smaller servings than other pho places we have been to. My younger brother always gets egg rolls, he is a huge fan of egg rolls. Normally, most places we go to for about the same price come with four egg rolls and the sauce. He said the sauce was very good but the egg rolls honestly did not taste that good. For a drink he got thai tea, which he thought was okay because it is pretty hard to mess up thai tea. My youngest brother got lemonade for his drink and the kids beef noodle soup. It was okay, he didn't have any complaints but he never has complaints in general because he is easy to please. He wasn't a huge fan of it compared to the other times we have gotten pho though, which knowing him says a lot because he is a big fan of pho and always highly praises the places we have gone to. As for my pho, it was not horrible but it just wasn't good. The broth was unimpressive, the noodles were fine, and I felt like the meat just had no flavor and had a strange texture. Normally at pho places I can ask for extra meat with no problem, but when I asked for extra meat I was told I had to get a side order of meat, which isn't something I thought was too strange, but the way our server told us just felt so demeaning. I'm generally not a person to complain and I'm generally not too sensitive when it comes to service. As a server I appreciate great service and I tip very well (generally 30% or higher) and I understand when the service is just okay because I understand everyone has bad days or gets busy or is overwhelmed and I still tip them well if I can tell they are trying their best and they are kind (generally this type of service i tip 22-25%) However, when I get service that makes me upset or uncomfortable, I just have such a bad experience. Working in customer service you should never undermine or speak down to customers, not about anything. Don't prod with personal questions, if they ask for more servings or for extra always do your best to upsell and make them feel happy and comfortable with making their decision to purchase more, and be kind and make sure their drinks are kept full or ask if they would like another drink. Something I also found strange was that when we asked for another lemonade she told me multiple times it was not a refill and that we would be ordering another one. I said that was okay, it was what I assumed because it was not a fountain drink. Then she told me again and continue to clarify what she meant. And I understand trying to clarify and make sure customers understand what they're buying, but the way she was talking about it made it seem like she was trying to get me to not buy another lemonade. I didn't find it insulting, as I said I'm not very sensitive, but it made my brothers feel guilty. And when you are the 'host' of sorts for friends or family, the worst thing is when you see they feel upset or guilty when you are trying to take them out to enjoy something. After that, he began drinking his lemonade slowly and refused to get another. Our experience was not pleasant. If the prices are going to be higher than most other pho places and the food is going to be worse, then at the very least make sure the service is decent. Our ticket came out to be $72, I tipped 20% because as a service worker I always tip well, but 20% is my absolute minimum and should never be mistaken for good service or for the idea that I enjoyed our experience. I wanted the experience to be pleasant for my brothers, it was not. I salvaged the day the next day by going to get pho at a place where the service is good and the food is better.

Our go to Vietnamese restaurant. We love their spring rolls and beef pho. They're closed on Tuesdays which we often forget about. This place is great tho! Highly recommend.

I have been wanting to try this place for a while. So today was the day. We ordered fried egg rolls and an order of spring rolls. The fried egg rolls were good not great. The spring rolls had shrimp and pork (white colored piece) in it. They were not to my liking. I pork in it was weird to me. I'm use to grilled pork in mine not a cold piece of pork. I would not get them again. I was in the mood for Banh mi. I looked and looked on the menu several times and did not see any. Huh, there is pictures of them on yelp(checked before I came)so where are they??? They waiter said oh we have them just not in the menu. (Why are they not on the menu???) Well, this made me a little nervous, so I got my husband to order one and if I liked it I was going to get one too. The grilled pork banh mi showed up and it was sad. It barely had any pork in it and just a few vegetables. I tried a piece of the meat and the pork was not had no flavor at all. I mean zero. The only thing you tasted was the bread. The bread was good. Nice and fresh. The meat was not really grilled it did not have that "grilled" marking on it. But at least it was not that white pork stuff. Well, no sandwich for me. I decided to cut my losses here because over all I just don't think this place it is for me. And my husband was still hungry. So we left. Oh, while we were there the table behind my husband asked to speak to the manager. He came and they said something to him and he said "I will take care of your bill", and they left quickly. Only half of their food was eaten.

Best service and food in the area. Very tasty and professional service. Came here very hungry and the food is very filling. My friend ordered the pho and that was definitely texas sized. Very spacious spot and really clean. Recommend to all who visit the area! Don't forget to order the peanut sauce with your food, it's the best!!!

Good phở restaurant w/ a bit more variety such bánh xèo, pad thai, and mì xào. Their phở broth had less flavor but the meats were great especially how soft the tendon were. The peanut sauce that came w/ the gỏi cuốn tasted a bit off w/ not much peanut taste to it and there weren't any bean sprouts inside the rolls. Food was good overall but I'll still order their bánh xèo next time I come here.

I have been to this location several times. Not once have I been disappointed. The service is prompt, they are good about greeting you as soon as you walk in. The food definitely doesn't disappoint either! I've had the pho, which is great- broth is pretty clear and tasty. This last time, I tried their bbq pork bahn mi. It was very good. There are several locations, this one happens to be the closest to me. If you're in the area, and are a lover of pho- stop by this joint!!
