Their pho broth taste soooo good and rich you don’t need to add extra seasoning to make it taste good, beef spring roll is top notch, oxtail pho 😍, their drinks are also very refreshing and not too sweet which is really good. Great staff and very attentive to what you try to order

Egg rolls weren't as great as I expected. The pho was pretty tasty. Their sandwiches I think were the better choice surprisingly since it's a noodles spot I didn't expect the sandwich to be phenomenal but it did the job. Staff was nice but lacked attention to detail. Me and my group didn't even get refills. 4 out of 5

This was my first time there. I order over the phone. I ordered the Vietnamese egg rolls that was the worst ones i have ever seen . They had burn marks like they were baked. Then my main order was #27 that was suppose to have 4 different kinds of beef in it. When I got home I saw there was only one fatty cut. I had to drive all the way back. The clerk had to make a phone call for me to explain there was just one cut of meat. They just added more cuts without an apology. Or offer me a spring roll for my effort of driving back. This is my first and last time at this restaurant. There are too many good Pho spots to go to.

Friendly staff and delicious, fresh food. Vegetarian options 😋 BEST tofu vermicelli I've had. The veggies were fresh and seasoned well. The portion size was enough to save for later❤️

This place used to be my favorite place. The food was excellent and service was good. There was a youngman who used to work here. He was quick, polite and always check on the customers. Always willing to go above and beyond. Now he is no longer here, they have a new owner and the cook here is horrible. We ordered Pho and a rice plate. I had to send the order back because the food wasn’t fully cooked. Parts of it was raw. ARE YOU KINDDING ME! I brought a toddler with me and you gonna do this kind of service. Obviously no regard for the customer. When I told this to the waiter, he (now an older guy) couldn't understand what I was saying. Did I mentioned they got the drink wrong. I ordered coconut juice and coffee, they brought out coke and sprite. When complained to the owner, she gave me an attitude. I threw one back of course. EVEN HAD THE NERVE TO ASK FOR A TIP WHEN I checked-out. This place has become a dump hole. DO NOT COME HERE!!

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The food was bland and lacked any flavor, making my bowl of pho utterly disappointing. To make matters worse, they got my order wrong, and the staff didn’t seem to care when I pointed it out. On top of that, I noticed they’ve raised their prices without any improvement in quality. I won’t be going back and would recommend looking elsewhere for a better pho experience. Save your time and money!

The restaurant usually had a strong smell of pho, but I went there recently for Mother’s Day and it smelled really clean for once. The pho is usually very hot, tasty, and the texture feels good to eat. And the spring rolls were fresh and great. The service is good. Great location near my house too!

First time there and honestly not bad. Had the vermicelli chicken, Banh mi sandwich and Vietnamese egg rolls. The vermicelli to me was a bit flavorless, I like my food full packed with flavors so Maybe I’ll try something else next time, however The menu didn’t give me much porkless options . Sucks for those who don’t eat pork.

I tried this place and will probably return. I had the shaking chicken and ate every bite. Fresh tasty dish . I also order the chargrilled egg rolls, just basic egg rolls , but good.

Today I thought I'd top off my good day with some pho. Now despite having several options I decided I'd choose pho tan loc. getting a large dark and light meat chicken pho with shrimp spring rolls. Extra noodles and extra jalapeño pieces. The wait is minimal just enjoy my pen while I wait and excited to enjoy this hot bowl when I make it home.

The food was blahhhh and the tables were disgusting dirty like they haven't been cleaned in days. How can you serve food at a dirty restaurant and located in Sugar Land? SMH

This place is a hit or miss. Sometimes we do not have anything wrong with our order and sometimes we do. We placed an order thru door dash and 1 hr later we're still waiting on our food. Our door dasher has stayed in communication with us stating he's still waiting for our order. He has been waiting in the restaurant for 40 min already and counting. We called the restaurant twice: they told us 10 more min, then they told us they're wrapping up our order (which is most likely a lie). We feel really bad for our door dasher since there is nothing he or us can do.

We've ordered from this spot several times via ubereats. They've been quick and efficient with getting our food. We have ordered their Bun Bo Hue and springs rolls, which were delicious each time. They always gave us ample veggies and toppings for the Bun Bo Hue. The broth is great too. It was nice and sour and mixed well with all the herbs thrown in. Although, we would've liked more noodles. The spring rolls were so fresh and go well with their peanut sauce. I've had a taste of and my family has tried their pork and fried chicken with rice plates. They're pretty good. My lil bro did say the fried chicken was a bit dry, though. Overall, we'll continue to order from this spot, since their Bun Bo hue and spring rolls are consistently good.

So pleasantly surprised by this place. Our food was delicious. The #33 pho is loaded with succulent juicy meat that falls off the bone and the broth is so soothing and flavorful. Couldn't get enough of it. The bo ne is fantastic and mouthwatering. Can't wait to go back and try more of their menu. Definitely a new staple pho place for us in Sugar Land.

lol all i have to say is i found a mf bug in my food. I dont even wanna begin to think how filthy it must be in the kitchen area let alone fresh... menus were about greasy as hell and place just felt off from the get go. im sure there are many unsanitary practices here.

Please don't come here. Keep sleeping on this gem so I can have all the delicious pho, rice plates, and vermicelli they have to offer. Their prices and portions are stuck in the 90s - tons of meat and huge servings at *really* reasonable prices. Here are my go-to items: Any beef pho... but their Pho Tan Loc is a stunner - Think the usual suspects that make a bowl of pho dac biet, but add a monstrous beef short rib. At first, I thought the dino bone was just for show... but no. The meat is scrumptious and soft. You'll be fighting your friends off for this showstopper. Bun Cha Ha Noi - If you didn't grow up eating this, it's probably a little foreign. It's a vermicelli bowl served alongside Vietnamese pork meatballs in a dipping sauce, grilled fatty pork, and fresh veggies/herbs. Pho Tan Loc's is the best I've had (aside from homemade). Com Thit Nuong - Their thit nuong (marinated sliced grilled pork) is absolutely delicious. Super flavorful, perfectly fatty, crisp in the right places, and beats anything you can get in Chinatown. If you think there's something better... then PM me lol. The amount of meat it comes with is enough for two normal people (or one of me). And don't forget to add a fried egg! Big food, big flavor, tiny cost? That's wife material right there. It's hard enough to serve up a single killer Vietnamese specialty, but Pho Tan Loc manages to deliver quality items in several categories. This place is a gem, and I hope they can continue to dish out incredible food at pre-pandemic prices.

This is literally the best place that you can get bun cha Hanoi. I've tried so many places over the years that have bun cha Hanoi, but nothing can ever beat Pho Tan Loc's bun cha Hanoi. I usually add an extra egg roll to mine, and that is just as good. I've been to this restaurant several times, and they have never failed me in terms of quality. Their bun rieu is also very good as well.

I really loved Pho Tan Loc up until the last few visits... I've noticed a serious decline in service and portions. I order the Shaken Beef and they use to ask 3.00 5.00 for the extra side of beef. So if I am going to pay 13.50 for the full and an extra 5.00 I would like to get what I pay for. So the guy comes out and gives me this for the extra 5.00 side of shaken beef... this was 5.00? FOUR PIECES? 1.25 FOR EACH PIECE?? I know prices have gone up ... I get that... but this is just not acceptable. My waiter was pleasant, but I saw him 2x ... i could see if they were busy but there were 4 tables... a family leaving... one lady in front of me and kids that came in 10 min after me. My waiter brought me a menu ... took my order and then needed to be waved down for sauce. No refill offer on tea... no checking on how the food was ... nothing. I tried to get their attention for this and it was like they were looking just past me...I believe it has changed ownership 2x since I've been coming so maybe that is the change .. but what ever it is... its different and not a good change.. I doubt I will be back. If you look at previous reviews from other customers you can tell they use to charge a extra cost that matched the portion. Their portions used to be decent... how upsetting.

Come here often on lunch break and it's always been great, I even make a lengthy drive on the weekends whenever I crave Vietnamese food because it's better than others in my area.

Best pho! I order so many pho place on Uber but this is the best !. The quality and quantity are both good! They pack the food so neat and clean! I the pho taste amazing! the price also very reasonable.

Ordered take out this morning, not sure if they're having an off day or what but the food was off. The chicken pho didn't even taste like pho broth but just plain chicken broth, the bun bo hue was sour?, and the chicken rice plate was also disappointing. Won't be returning unfortunately.

My server was awesome. Her name was Chau and the service was excellent and the food was just as amazing. I highly recommend this place to those looking for authentic Vietnamese cuisine!!

10/10 couldn't praise more. My friends and I would come here every time we have the chance. Friendly services, great portion for the price, and the dishes look and taste incredible. I would recommend the #78 (bánh mì bò né- steak, spam & egg served on a hot sizzling plate with house pâté, butter, side of salad and bread). The steaks are flavorful as always. The breads are hot, soft and crunchy. I couldn't get enough of it. Come by and prove me wrong

We always get delicious food here as well as fast service. The staff are always kind, welcoming, and helpful. It's a family favorite!

The food is always good and very reasonably priced but I have a major bone to pick with this business regarding their treatment of Yelp/GrubHub customers. Every time I order for pick up without fail, they treat me like I'm trying not to pay. I pay through the app EVERY TIME, and when I go to pick up my food it takes them upwards of 5 minutes to relinquish my order to me. They have to check this and that and that and this, making sure I am who I am and ordered what they're giving me (by quizzing me in every item I bought!) and I have gone 4 TIMES giving them the benefit of the doubt that they were just having a bad day(s). But after 4 times of dealing with this I can honestly say it's unprofessional and quite honestly very rude. I am a very non-confrontational person but I got SO UPSET the last time, I don't think I want to go through the effort of ordering here again. I should not have to remember every single thing I ordered and be tested on it when I come in and give you my name for the order. My name should be on the dang receipt! This has never been an issue with any other restaurant, or pho place more specifically.

First thing--The staff is super friendly and inviting! We got the bun Bo hue, beef rib pho and some sizzling beef platter and they were all so delicious. The bun Bo hue was especially super flavorful-- would come back just for this dish! I also liked this r Thai tea. It's strong, not watered down and not too sweet. Definitely give this place a try!

Huge portion for the price. In this inflation time, where else can you find $10 and under for most of the dishes? I ordered togo Pho Tai Nam Gau, Bun Rieu (crab noodle) and Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef noodle). Total came out around $30-$31 (through Doordash). They still accept my order and have it done even though I placed order around 8:35pm and the place closes at 9pm. Thumbs up for good service! Flavoring: I would say 4/5 for all the dishes, to my own taste, that's pretty good. Will come back for more since it's on my way home from work so very convenient.

Sorry, this review is going to be a bit of a wall-of-text. Pho places are virtually everywhere here, to the point where you could run into one within 5 minutes of each other. That being said, this place doesn't really stand out in the bunch. The food tastes pretty good, but nothing to write home about. At most 3.5 star if I could give it - maybe a 4 on a really, really good day for them. Like a number of other reviews made on this location, I find this place to be either hit or miss. The food is alright, but there are times where it seems like my food was just reheated in the microwave. But, what is really dragging the number of stars I want to give down is a communication issue with the staff. I don't want to sound like a bigot, but there's a bit of a language barrier when communicating with the serving staff. I come here on occasion, and I mostly order my food to-go. Several times I've asked for modifications to the food items I select, and virtually every single time they either get wrong or they flat out just don't do them. And I've noticed that the staff isn't exactly fluent in English. It just irks me when I pay extra for things I don't receive. I'll still come here, less occasionally though. Probably, if nothing within the immediate area is calling out to me. Don't feel discouraged to come here. Give them a try. I can't guarantee what kind of experience you'll have, though. Everything I've said might drag the score to 2 stars, but the serving staff are rather nice, and they are trying their best.

I asked them to skim the oil (Annatto oil) of the broth in my BunRieu... and they showed me they cared! Perfect portion and perfect taste to warm my soul today! Thank you for the perfect BunRieu!!! Don't forget to check out their Viet egg rolls You just won a new customer!!

I've come here twice and both experiences have been AMAZING! The servers we've had both times, a girl then a guy, were both really attentive and sweet. The girl gave a bunch of great recommendations that I tried and loved. The prices are great and the portions match the prices compared to the other pho restaurants in the area. The broth is delicious! They have a bowl with everything on it which is perfect for sharing. Their egg rolls are a good price and tastes amazing! 20/10 customer service and and food quality

I just finished enjoying the my quang dish and it was super delicious. The shrimp was tender, and the soup broth was so light and rich in flavor. The restaurant looked very clean and the staff was very friendly. The employee (Chau I think) was so welcoming and helped me get my meal fast since I was in a rush. Will be coming back soon and bringing friends for a proper sit-down meal. 10/10 :)

My Vietnamese friends recommended this place, Houston's best Bun Cha Hanoi indeed! The place may not look that impressive but the food is totally worth it!

Best grilled pork over vermicelli ever! And it's only a minute away from home!! And they gave you such a huge portion of grilled pork which was super tasty and cooked to perfection Plenty of noodles and all the other bits to make an excellent meal fit for a King Def will come back!

Consistently awesome pho all the time. I've actually explored the menu since I live close by, and there really aren't any wrong answers. This place is awesome.

With this cold weather,we decided we wanted something hot. I went on yelp and found this little spot yesterday, we looked at the time and it was open so we decided to give it a try a small shop, they have a really good lunch special that comes with an appetizer, entree and a drink. My husband went with the Vietnamese egg rolls, it had a good crisp, the sauce in my opinion needed to be spicier but for my husband it was perfect. I got the spring roll, it was so good and the sauce had a nice texture. We both went with pho, as our entree. Let me tell you, that portion was HUGE. We also decided to share a banh mi, we got the combination. It was too crispy for my husband but he is not much of a bread person, he is also not a pickled person and the fact that he loved the carrots on it was a huge plus. During our lunch, we kept looking at this container in the middle of our table,trying to figure out what it was. We knew it was garlic but the color was throwing us off. We finally decided to ask the lady in the restaurant and she told us, that her dad makes it. We gave it a try and oh man that taste was so good, wish we tried it sooner so we could have added it to our pho. I took some to go to lol overall, i definitely recommend this place for a budget friendly lunch, and the service was fast, so they will definitely see me back during my lunch breaks.

I work in Sugarland and discovered Pho Tan Loc on Friday. WHAT A FIND!!!! The grilled pork spring rolls were so fresh and delicious. I was so happy to find they serve mi quang. It is the real thing, complete with all the fix is. I got it to go and they packed everything separate and perfectly. This place is so delicious and I told my co- workers. 2of them went today and loved it. A group of us are going at lunch on Thursday. Will post some photos. Easy parking bc it's right near the Kroger center off of hway 6.

I've been here for years and I'm so glad that they added com tam suong bi cha trung onto their new menu. The portions here are hugee. Service was amazing as always. Would recommend ordering this dish if you don't know what to get here. My girlfriend got com suong bo dai dan, the rib was so juicy and tender. another 10/10 dish.

I only ordered their banh canh Tom Cua to go. The place was empty when I went but they were busy with Togo orders. The broth was very thicker, the thicker banh canh broth I've ever seen. No complaints, it was good! The noodles were the regular banh canh noodles not the ones meant for this dish. Again, still good lol. I'll be back to try their other dishes.

Disappointing. Com chien bo luc lac beef was dried and charred and the rice was floating in a pool of oil. Banh mi dac biet had honey baked ham as a meat.

*This is my sincere honest review. Landon N. is judging my reviews without being present when I had the pho. Landon N. sent me a note privately with rude comments, insulting me and I think this is not fair for me. I believe Landon N. must be someone related to this restaurant to have such action.* I wasn't there alone, my friend had the same thing and also felt the same. If the pho was better I wouldn't give them such a bad review, I gave them ZERO star because it was terrible and unacceptable. PS: If this place have decent food, they should've gained more than 3.5 stars. If there is a zero star I would give them a ZERO!!! Been to countless Pho places and by far this is the WORST Pho EVER! At a first glance when the Pho Tai arrived I noticed that the portion is so little for a small bowl! It is half of what you get on an average small bowl elsewhere. Had only four little slices of beef and so little noodle that I had to go to another restaurant to get something else to eat since I was not even half way full. I don't eat a lot, a small bowl of Pho always fills me up. Their menu prices are higher than average and the environment looks old and dirty. Too much MSG in their broth. I NEVER will go back again.
