They seem to only do one dish here. Pho. And it is great. The broth was clear but full of flavour. And the condiments lets you customise to your liking and tastes. Their chilis were super hot, though!! The place is not pretentious and is clearly a favourite of the locals. Is it better than other pho, not sure, we really enjoyed it. So if you are in the neighbourhood it is worth checking out.

I went back twice in two days 😂 so you know it is that fabulous 👍🏻 and the second time was at 530am - yes 530am early morning as the first customer - to get a bowl of comfort pho before my flight ✈️ home. Totally worth it! Don’t miss the fried dough as well, it goes awesome dipping into the soup. And love all the greens topping, the more the merrier. Go try it…

Pho Thin Lo Duc - A Shadow of its Former Self Pho Thin Lo Duc used to be a reliable spot for a comforting bowl of pho, and I have fond memories of enjoying it in the past. However, the recent surge in popularity, likely fueled by TikTok and YouTube reviews, seems to have taken a toll on the quality. Unfortunately, my recent experience was disappointing. The once-signature rare beef arrived overcooked, losing its tenderness. The broth, which used to be fragrant and complex, now lacked its characteristic aroma and was overwhelmingly dominated by the smell and taste of fish sauce, masking any other subtle flavors. At 75,000 VND, the value proposition simply isn't there anymore. You can easily find pho of much better quality and more nuanced flavor for the same price elsewhere in Vietnam. While it holds a nostalgic place, I can no longer recommend Pho Thin Lo Duc in its current state. Hopefully, the owners will take note of the declining quality and strive to bring it back to its former glory.

Simple, straightforward and well worth it! You know it’s gonna be a good time when it’s filled with locals and some even order two portions! They only serve two items on the menu and they do it oh so well, service is fast and snappy and you pay first before dining in. Super fast it will be prepped and served to you. I did enjoy slowly adding more and more chilli’s and pepper into my Pho. Well done!

Amazing Pho with loads of meat and very good flavor! Local vibes in a small humble place. They only serve this one dish, but it is all you need in your life. Also, cheap beer ;)

One of the best pho I had in Vietnam, you definitely need to try it with extra egg, it gives you so much extra flavor! Fried dough sticks (quay) are also available and recommended. The price is 75k which is not the cheapest, but the bowl is pretty big, they add a lot of chives which I really like and it's what makes this pho a bit special. Recommended!

I’ve been travelling Vietnam for 3 weeks from south to north. Possibly the best bowl of pho I’ve had. Stir fried beef…yum! Got the egg and fried doughnut $85k

This was one of the best pho I’ve had in Hanoi. Payment is required before entering, and there’s only one item on the menu. The broth is incredibly rich, full of deep beef bone flavor. You can enhance the taste with chili, lime and sauces to your preference. At around 75,000 Dong, the price is quite reasonable for such a flavorful dish.
