"Pho is really meant for a cold wet day much further north of here -- the kind of chilly Fall day where it’s a little rainy outside and winter’s bite is just starting to be felt. We don’t get many of those in sunny SoCal, but it’s a testament to Pho-Ever’s owners that they make it work really well here anyway. With 20 different protein options, you can make the right pho for whatever day you’re having, and the menu is packed with other choices, too, including stir fry, lemon pepper wings, an excellent Bahn Mi, and even more obscure Vietnamese favorites like a Quang-style noodle bowl. Because, you know, you can’t always wait until it’s cozy outside before getting a pho fix." - Mike Schramm

The families that provide the service are great. Very welcoming and kind from the moment you are greeted to the last wave goodbye. As a long term diner here, I can say it's changed. Portions have become smaller and was confirmed with my latest take-out order. I received a single spring of mint and Thai basil. My egg roll order now includes 4 and a table that typically splits the usually 6 eggrolls. They may have a bigger pack. I didn't ask since I typically don't need the bigger options. The broth is delicious here too. Not greasy.

Google
24. 24. Not 24 hours availability but $24 is what I paid for a bowl of pho dac biet after tax and tip. The food and service was good but the portion size was so small I asked for extra noodles ($4.00). No drink, no nada. This is Vista, not Del Mar, not Solana Beach not Carlsbad, but Vista. I feel graped... Imagine being Mexican American and paying $24 for a burrito in California. This is the feeling. There are better options elsewhere imo. $25 is not the new normal to eat pho at a Vietnamese restaurant. Nonetheless if you want to, this place has good food n service.

Google
Nice spot for casual lunch or dinner. When you walk in they usually have you see yourself. The eggrolls were good and a bit different than eggrolls from different cultures. I really like the mint and lettuce to wrap them up…crunchy! I ordered the vegetable pho with chicken added. From what I understand, beef and chicken pho both have MSG added. Plus, I’d like to get my veggies in. The service was good. However, we did have to keep asking for things such as sauces and extra napkins which were not given up front. Granted, they do get busy after we arrive. We bring the crowds! 😂 The sauces are all currently in single used containers and none are just out on the table. We ordered two bowls of pho and had to ask for extra plate of the veggies. They only gave us one very little bean sprouts and we like a lot of veggies in pho!

One of the best Pho’s I’ve had. Small but nice and quiet place to have a good meal. My wife and I enjoyed very much.

Google
This one has good tasting Vietnamese food! My friends love their pho soup, it has this deep flavor like they really spent a lot of time simmering the broth. I love their rice platters too (bbq pork and chicken). But my go-to is the cajun spicy shrimp! I had it with rice all the time but it also goes well with bread. I can't believe a Vietnamese restaurant can make really delicious cajun! The stew is spicy and tasty with generous serving of large shrimps, sausage and sweet corn! Of course, always order their spring roll and fried tofu for starters.

Google
Love the lime cured filet which is like ceviche but with fillet mignon and the spiciness flavor is excellent. The chicken is crispy and tender at the same time. First time trying the savory crepes and adding the different sauces dips makes it yummy. We were full by the time we reached the main meal and bo bo hue is nice to have if you want something hot and spicy. Cajun shrimp is recommended if you like Cajun of anything. Not to be missed.

Google
Got the large steamed tofu and veggie pho to go for lunch on a gray cooler day, hit the spot! Super delicious and the broth was really good.

Google
Casual comfort food. Delicious tender beef pho, one of the best we’ve had! Also tried egg rolls, which were definitely our favorite style out of all cuisine.

Yelp
Came here for the first time tonight because our regular Vietnamese restaurant has closed! We ordered the Bun Mo sandwiches, Fried shrimp & salad rolls. Looking forward to a wonderful meal! This place didn't disappoint! Loved the fried shrimp, especially!

Katrina J.

Yelp
We visited on Tuesday at 5:20pm and they had a few tables already seated but there was no wait, which was awesome because we are very hungry! Haha I ordered pho beef soup with brisket and we'll done steak and my boyfriend ordered pho beef soup with filet mignon and brisket. The service was very quick and the lady taking our order and delivering our food was so sweet and attentive! We usually go to another pho restaurant, but on Tuesdays they are closed (we forgot). Finding this place was a happy accident! And it just so happens to be closer to our home. I will definitely be coming back if not to sit and dine, then to take some food to-go! Try it out! I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Yelp
Best tasting Pho in Vista so far. I really like the dry Pho. Spicy and tasty! Just moved here so looking for the best place to go, so far this place is winning!

Stephanie T.

Yelp
I normally always get the chicken pho, but this time decided to do something different. And I'm very glad I did. I got the chicken lo mein with veggies. Oooh soooo good! They give you a huge portion too. Came with lots of various veggies. The chicken was kind of fatty tho, which I didn't see coming. But regardless, I ate it up and would recommend it.

Christopher G.

Yelp
There are a few spots in Vista to get pho but I find the location of Pho Vista to be convenient since it's next to several other restaurants. Staff is always attentive and i particular like ordering pho to go. Call ahead, pick up, and enjoy this delicious broth at home and it's just as good. My go-to pho location in north county SD.

Murissa M.

Yelp
Pho-Ever is a hidden gem, it's right off the 78 freeway. They have plenty of parking and comfortable tables and booths. The service here is amazing and consistent during every visit. The staff/team are friendly and attentive. The food is just as good. The pho is pipping hot and the herbs and such are so fresh. The basil is the best around. The egg rolls are a perfect shareable starter/appetizer and their sauce is tasty. Their curry is the perfect blend. The chicken curry is seasoned with curry and stewed with carrots, potatoes, and onions, in a coconut-based curry soup. Also, it's served with your choice of rice, bread, or vermicelli rice noodles. Hard to pick just one! They do allow you to substitute certain items, which is nice. The large pho is exactly that, LARGE! It's probably the biggest portion around. The extras/sides are the perfect portion to add to your meal. For example, a side of veggies or or noodles.

Samantha W.

Yelp
Stopped in while running an errand in town and were pleasantly surprised. Food came out fast. The chicken pho broth was flavorful and very yummy. Was a little on the oily side though. Steamed tofu & vegetable pho was pretty good but tasted like powdered or cubed broth. Almost like knorr vegetable broth base powder. The amount and variety of veg was nice and the noodles were cooked nicely.

Kristin N.

Yelp
Soooooo good. I don't know what else to say. Food is consistently awesome and seems to be gluten-free as advertised. Love the pho!

Bridgette G.

Yelp
I luv you Pho~Ever that's Pho~Sure. I've been here several times. Sometimes for dine in with family & friends and many times for delivery and or pickup. If ever there was a time for hardship this company always communicated it and thus allowed customers to have grace while they could come back in full force again. Pandemic was hard on many restaurants and I'm grateful we still have this local place to go to! If they didn't run out...I always order their chicken wings. I mean the garlic and lemon grass and the infamous lemon pepper sauce make them AMAZING wings. My favorite thing here. I also get their chicken pho with extra ginger sauce. It's so good especially when you need a little immunity boost or it's soup season. They have vegetarian options as well. We recently tried their bbq chicken bánh mì for the first time and we'll definitely get it again. Egg rolls were great & we ordered two orders. There are 6 pieces in each order. It comes with some tasty sauce and lettuce. My son could just eat the fried rice all by itself and all to himself! So sometimes I order an extra one just for him. A family favorite of ours.

Nia L.

Yelp
Friendly staff and very homely. Reminds me of my childhood. I went with my friend and the servers were lovely :) The food was great too.

Steven M.

Yelp
Rare steak Pho. Try it. You'll love it! Nice little setting, good service, and great food. Can't beat that!

Joriene M.

Yelp
Food (5/5 stars): Solid and reasonably priced Vietnamese spot! Ryan got the Veggie Pho and I got the Rice Plate. The BBQ Pork with the dipping sauce was chef's kiss Experience (5/5 stars): * Price: reasonable * Wait Time: no wait on a Saturday night * Service: great and friendly * Parking: they have a parking lot * Ambiance: it's a simple restaurant with indoor seating

Yelp
TRY THE Bún bò Huế It's amazing, rich bone broth, the hit of spice that makes you go back for more, the meat and the tendons are so soft. It's like you're biting into jello. Not to mention the generous amount of serving you get. oh man... when I get married, I want this as a late night treat. It's seriously so great. I got a level heat 9. I get deliveries from them from time to time as well. They're very good about their packaging and keeping things hot. It's fast service, I'll tell you that. Try the passion fruit lemonade. You will not regret it!

Yelp
It was another gloomy and cold day so I wanted pho. I ordered pick up, and was told 10/15 minutes. When I came to pick up my order there wasn't a line so when I approached the lady regarding my order, I was asked to wait, cause someone else was ahead of me.... Confused since there was no one else in line... I waited. After a few minutes she motioned me over... as I was paying another customer came to pick up as well and also seemed confused by lack of helpfulness from the lady. Im. It sure if they were short staffed, or she's never worked the front before but I was will to give a pass at the service, until I got home..... there was no utensils and my pho was packed in a rice container?! How was I suppose to eat pho in a rice container?! I have ordered pho many times and NEVER have I EVER had it packed in a rice container! So I was extremely disappointed that I had to go scrambling for a big enough soup bowl from the pantry to transfer my to go order in. To top it off, the veggies in the soup tasted old and I couldn't even finish it. Needless to say I will not be ordering from here again.

Noah L.

Yelp
To be honest I ordered food from here by mistake tonight. I have a go to pho spot and got them mixed up. Once I figured it out what I had done I went over to Pho-Ever to pick up my food. I have to admit, both my dish and my girlfriends were more flavorful than my regular spot! The downside was portion size. I'd say my Būn bowl was less than half the size of my regular order I get elsewhere, and had about a third of the meat. My girlfriends meatball pho was also tastier than normal. However it was a large, and she normally gets a small, so while there were more meatballs it wasn't by much. She was also pretty disappointed that she received a single sprig of the veggie leaves she received with the pho where we get an entire sack of greenery from our normal spot. I will say that if the portions were on point Pho-Ever would have new customers after this mix-up, but for now we will have to skip it and stick to our regular place.

Stoned S.

Yelp
Love the chicken banh mi and Thai tea! The drip coffee is strong and sweet A side of beef broth with the sandwich is amazing!

Jinny L.

Yelp
I have tried their bun bo hue, pho, and egg rolls. My go to order is definitely the bun bo hue and the fresh lemonade. I do not know what sugar or recipe they use for their lemonade, but it is the most delicious thing I have ever drank. Their bun bo hue is HUGE and is one of the best that I have tried in San Diego. Their pho broth is delicious as well! The restaurant interior is simple and clean. The service is always friendly and fast. We usually go at least once a month and they remember us and our preferences!

Sophie M.

Yelp
3 times is enough. Charging extra 2.50 For "fresh rice noodles" LOL turned out it's best to keep it "original" portion is insanely small with the price. I fully understood the cost is up but I spent $32 for a small pho & spring rolls. I mean, at least give me a little bit more noodles, and not just 3 pcs tofu & 3 pcs meat. I found hair OMG

Donna H.

Yelp
plain beef pho ( with all the toppings ) so good when your barreling a cold . The best around ! My usual is the curry though , Soo good!

Denisse R.

Yelp
Pho-ever has great food! I really enjoyed their Veggie Pho. So many vegetables and the broth was exceptional! The fried on top was the ticket to this meal! I would definitely come back for this soup again. I docked off a star from my last review because their spring rolls are much smaller in size than most of the other Pho restaurants I've frequented. They are decent but nothing much more to say about that. It looks like their menu has other great options. Prices have definitely gone up. Service was good. The two ladies helping were swamped and the restaurant was full! However they were sure everyone was taken care of. All in all its a great place for pho, but skip the spring rolls.

Karen T.

Yelp
I came here about 30 min before closing and definitely was rushed to finish my meal and leave before 9. They told us that they close right at 9 as I was sitting down, then took our order immediately. The food came out fast, but they also brought the check with the food. The whole time we ate, they were watching us eat waiting for us to leave. I don't blame them for wanting to leave on time, but it was definitely a pressurized situation. We ended up leaving at 9:02- I've never ate so fast in my life. We got the pho tai chin and the nem nuong rolls. The pho wasn't bad, but the nem nuong rolls were not good. They felt like something I could make easily at home, and the nem nuong was weird. To be fair, I'm a bit of a Vietnamese food snob, but with the disappointing rolls plus the poor service, I wouldn't return.

Kay T.

Yelp
Wow. Been meaning to try this for a while, and I kind of regret finally doing so. Where to start... First, it's worth noting their online pricing is outdated. I ordered the pork egg rolls and chicken curry to go. When I opened the egg rolls it looked kind of sparse. I looked back on the site and saw it's advertised as 6, not the 4 I received. Apparently they have not updated their website to reflect this. Taste wise the egg rolls were okay, very taro heavy. Could not taste the pork inside. Curry was VERY ginger heavy, and I was already sick and congested, which dulled my taste! The spicy was all burn from ginger. As someone who otherwise loves ginger flavored things, this was not it. Ginger is supposed to be an aromatic to balance flavors, but not take over the entire flavor profile of a dish, which is what it did here. It also lacked that slightly bright, creamy flavor of other Viet curries. It also might be worth noting the potato in the curry was subbed out with more taro. If you don't like taro, this is an FYI. Very different texture from potato. One piece of chicken was terribly hard and chewy compared to others, not sure if it was a reheated piece from another day, and all the chicken was quite grey looking anyway. Bread that came with it was decent. Since this was to-go, I only experienced customer service over the phone. The flair was what you'd expect, culturally speaking. Get your food and go, oh our online prices changed? Too bad. While I appreciate the experience of trying a new place, now I know to stick to good old Mr. Pho.

Ted M.

Yelp
I Love This place! The only customer service is great and the food is ALWAYS Amazing. I have yet to try something here that I didn't like. I physically live two cities over and make sure I am here once a week. If you have never been this restaurant is Definitely worth a try.

Alvin H.

Yelp
This place was so horrible! Pho was so salty. We also got the com thit nuong, the meat was not grill correctly. They put the meat in the small oven to cook it. It's not on a grill. This is not a grill meat! 1 stars! Sadly 45 mins from OC Vietnamese town but none of the Vietnamese restaurants are taste correctly, horrible around here and San Diego. I would not recommend pho Vista! Worst pho ever! Do not go to this place! This place gives you a free drink in exchange for a good reviewed, not even worth it. That is why people gave them a good review post.

Nomad O.

Yelp
Seems like ordering for delivery runs about 50/50 that they'll get it right these days. I ordered pho with chicken in beef broth (it's how I like and it was an option on Doordash). Sadly I got chicken in chicken broth. The receipt on the bag had it right but whoever made up the order didn't. As I went to look for the basil I got the tiniest sprig of basil with maybe a half dozen leaves half of which were black and going bad. I used to go here all the time but this was disappointing and for $21.40 for a bowl of Pho they better get it right. To many good Pho places in North County, next time I'll go elsewhere,

Gary T.

Yelp
Our normal pho place was closed so we made it over to Vista. I would say for pho they are a little higher than our normal place. I ordered the Cajun shrimp dish with rice noodles and although not a large dish it was perfect. I'm from New Orleans area and it was like I was at a crab boil. The rice noodles stretched the meal out perfectly. Wife ordered the beef brisket pho and was very happy. Overall pleased with the service and food!

Ana C.

Yelp
Delish! It's my go to, every time I walk in I ask for this in a mater of Minutes it's fresh on my plate

Hugh N.

Yelp
Solid pho spot! The pho broth is full bodied, the small is on the smaller side. But understand with inflation and everything why that is. The vermicelli was big! Overall good place I would come back too. Thanks pho ever!

Id I.

Yelp
Wow wow. What a shocker. The portion is so tiny. Not worth $19. Oh well, will not order again pho ever.

Piyinchu A.

Yelp
Amazing Service, and delicious food. The broth for the PHO was very flavorful, the best I've had in awhile.

Rylie P.

Yelp
my meal from Pho-Ever tonight was super delicious! I got the veggie soup (veggie pho) and spring rolls. My mom ordered soft noodle stir fry with shrimp. All of the food was really great! I am vegetarian so I was excited to taste the freshness of the vegetables as well as the depth of the vegetarian pho broth. I will definitely be coming back! The noodles in the broth had super great flavor and chewiness. My mom said her meal was really flavorful and fulfilling as well!

Christopher C.

Yelp
The best in town. The owner and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I been coming for years now. one of my favorite dishes here is there Beef Ceviche

Alan S.

Yelp
Always delicious there. The Beef Pho or Vegetable is always good. Sometimes we get the Spring rolls if we are really hungry.

Dilara C.

Yelp
I ordered a vegetable pho and a tofu Bahn mi sandwich. The pho was different than most pho I've had; the noodles were a little thinner. The soup was also packed full of veggies; carrots, baby bok choy, broccoli, and more. All in all, it was a pretty good pho. The Bahn mi sandwich missed the mark for me. The bread was softer than most Bahn mi sandwiches I've had and the flavors were a little flat. Don't get me wrong, it was a good sandwich, but just an okay Bahn mi. The service was friendly and great, and of course this is just my opinion so you should definitely check them out and see for yourself.

Carl M.

Yelp
This is a wonderful pho place, I am obsessed with there seafood fried rice, I rarely finish a whole plate of fried rice in a pho place because the portioning is always massive but with this place, you will because its very tasty.

Rochelle S.

Yelp
Whenever it's a rainy or just craving noodle soup this is our spot. Fast service with a friendly welcome.

Phil H.

Yelp
Service and food is always excellent every time I come here. The fried noodles and beef is one of my favorite items.

Vanessa H.

Yelp
I have been coming to this place for years, and the food has always been top notch! I love the Vietnamese crepe! The ingredients are always so fresh tasting. The staff are amazing, and they know me by my order. The place is spacious, and I've enjoyed many meals with my family and various friends here.

David S.

Yelp
Food and service are great. Their noodle dishes are great and so are their other dishes. Good on a cold day

Jill W.

Yelp
Been eating here for years! Great service and food is wonderful. We always get the Ban mi sandwich and chicken Pho.

Ana C.

Yelp
Fast service, easy to order with great menu options. I can easily go in for lunch and I'll be in and out in 30-45 min. You can never go wrong with the chicken pho my absolute favorite and their broth I can drink for Days

Joe M.

Yelp
Awesome Pho Chai - vegan Pho. Fresh veggies, the right balance of tofu and veggie quantities. The broth is flavorful but very gentle. Clean interior, clean bathrooms, friendly and kind staff. Recommended !!

Christopher M.

Yelp
I love this place. The food and the service is great. Shrimp pho with a side of beef and shrimp egg rolls is my go to. I moved to Vista a year ago. I've been coming here since and I have not been let down once.

Maria B.

Yelp
First time trying pho -ever and everything was so yummy and fresh ! Service was awesome will definitely be returning

Mitchell C.

Yelp
TLDR: the food is fine, but pretty much all the Vietnamese food in north county taste the same, so go somewhere that isn't STINGY! Ordered the Pho with Flank & Brisket. The small was SMALL. For $12 you get a tiny bowl with hardly any noodles. It's another dollar for a large (other restaurants don't even charge $11 for a large). It did have a good amount of meat in the bowl, but I ordered pho for the noodles, not a bowl of meat in soup. Also ordered rice vermicelli with pork & egg rolls. I like that it was mixed up for me, but the pork and egg rolls were cold. Decent size, but pricey again. How do you know they are cheap? There's no bottles or jars of sauce on the tables. They gave me a tiny packet of hoisin sauce and a tiny packet of siriacha sauce. Had to ask for chili oil and chili paste which also came in tiny containers. If they say this is a Covid protocol, that is obviously BS because that's not how covid works (I'm an ENT surgeon so...) I believe they do this to: 1.) Save on cost so customers don't waste 2.) Save on time so they don't have to refill bottles/jars 3.) Streamline DoorDash order process with little sauce packets ready to go. I understand the savings, but it's not how a Vietnamese restaurant should be. Doesn't feel right without sauces on the table. The Thai Tea was ice cold and yummy, not overly sweet.

Juan T.

Yelp
We dine in once every few months, and they never disappoint. My wife loves her Pho, spring rolls, and I like the egg rolls and the all meat entre. The server is friendly, and food is served nice and hot! Fast and efficient service. We'll keep going back.

Rob C.

Yelp
First time at P-E for a late lunch. Ordered shrimp egg rolls and pork egg rolls for appetizers. I had the shrimp and chicken bahn xeo (rice crepe), which has always been a Vietnamese favorite of mine. Wife had bo luc lac (shaking beef) which was fillet mignon sauteed with onions with garlic noodles. She ordered the meat rare and it came out tender and juicy. SIL had Vietnamese stir fry of crispy noodles and seasoned tofu. Very tasty. Everyone loved their meal! We were all basking in the afterglow of this amazing meal. To be honest, the pork egg rolls were bland, even with the fish sauce or sweet n sour dips. I prefer vegetarian egg rolls at Vietnamese restaurants stuffed with vermicelli, but none were to be found on the menu.

Elsy M.

Yelp
Awesome food and fast service. I love how welcoming they always are. Come visit this place soon!

Madison P.

Yelp
This place is amazing! Stellar quality pho and the price is right. Friendly service and orders always come out quickly.

Jihun S.

Yelp
The worst bbq plate ever. Not worth 18 dollars I don't even want to eat the spring rolls I got.
