We were really excited to try a new Vietnamese place that was close to our house. Pho Wok is a cute little spot with friendly servers. They were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed during our meal. We split the House Spring rolls as the appetizer. They were really tasty and came with a good peanut sauce. The interesting thing to us is they didn't have vermicelli in them, but that was okay with us because we love veggies. My boyfriend had the Beef Pho with Rare Steak and Meatballs. The pho broth was clear and had a good balance of ginger and other flavors. I had the Grilled Shrimp Vermicelli. I really loved my dish because it was packed with veggies. The shrimp had a lovely flavor and char on them. The sauce that came with the vermicelli was perfect too. If you like spicy, try the house made chili paste. But go light at first! It's not messing around! I'm sure we'll be back soon for more.

PhoWok was an amazing experience. The food was 10/10 and the service was great. Our waiter, Alvin was super helpful with all of our distant restrictions. The owner even came out to talk with us about the gluten free options. We order spring rolls, Pho, fried rice (the best in Austin I think) and Singapore Noodles. I highly recommend trying it out!

Delicious! General Tso chicken - chicken was crispy, perfectly breaded and sauce was light but flavorful. Good portion of meat instead of heavy breading like other places. Pork loaf ban mi, the bread was perfection! The condiments, outstanding. The pork was…there. I would try a different meat next time. Overall, delicious!!

our waiter Alvin was awesome! the food was absolutely delicious. we love pho and have tried many places and this is now our favorite! the house spring rolls are so good a must try. we got food to go because it was just that good. we will be back!

The food was amazing! We ordered the vermicelli bowl with grilled pork. The Vietnamese spring rolls were delicious as well. Our waiter extremely nice, and the place was clean and cozy. Would definitely go again!

Service was great! Server was friendly and made great suggestions. Food came out quickly and everything was delicious! Appetizer - got the chicken lettuce wraps (best I’ve had) and beef egg roll which they make to order. Main - pork bahn mi soo good (they make the bread in house and the sandwich also had some great heat to it!) also got the combination Singapore noodles which were really flavorful.

After moving away from my family and not having home cooked Vietnamese food, I was in search of a good viet place to eat that felt like home. The atmosphere is really warm with the decorations. I think the waiter’s name was Alvin but he was really inviting, friendly and funny! My boyfriend and I ordered combination pho which was fantastic! We loved how light the broth tasted with the amount of meat provided. The combination platter for the appetizer was also delicious! I didn’t get pictures of the Vietnamese coffee, but we got it to go and it’s not bitter compared to other places I’ve tried! Definitely a local spot I’ll come back to when I’m craving some comfort food and when I’m missing my family :)

I ordered two entrees for myself, starting with combination pho which was absolutely delicious, the broth was clean and flavor full, no need to dress with additional sauces. Second choice was the vermicelli with grilled pork and egg roll. Eggroll was crispy went perfect with grilled marinated pork. Both delicious and I will be back.

Food was great and the service was awesome I definitely will be coming back. The edamame and calamari were delicious and recommend getting those to start off. Then the pho was solid and a pretty good size‍‍‍

Space has been remodeled looking much better than before. Friendly staff. I only had pho. It was not that flavorful. The portion was average, enough for a not so hungry person.

Tried Pho Wok for the first time. Ordered the combination Singapore noodles. The noodles were very tasty. I will be back to try more different dishes.

I came back and tried the vermicelli bowl, upgraded to a 5/5! Just as good as any other excellent vermicelli bowl in the area. Plenty of options in terms of proteins, grilled or lemongrass stir fry (spicy). I got pork lemongrass stir fry, and it was quite spicy. I may ask for less spicy next time. We also got a grilled chicken bowl and that was delicious too. Each of us were able to get two meals out of them. We also ate inside this time around. The inside is casual and clean. I feel like they could do more with the decor/lighting but doesn't really matter since the food is good.

Wow this has got to be my new fave pho spot. Too bad it's out in Austin Tx and I live in California. The restaurant is very nice and clean with a great ambiance. The broth on the pho was so savory and delicious. The portion was very generous and the grilled chicken spring rolls were amazing. This place is a 10/10 for me. I will def be back before I leave Austin. Here for another week and a half. Expect me back.

Attentive waiter & wonderful food! The "shaken" beef was a generous portion & tasty, as was the pho (with very homemade - fresh broth) & the shrimp / pork combo spring rolls. Huge portions! Yummy mango smoothie with boba in it to finish off. I love that the staff can indicate what is gluten free here. Excited to have a new yummy source of great Vietnamese food in my area now! & they do take out & door dash !

New mom pop shop in Oak Hill. Excited to see some more viet spots opening down south. While fairly new they have some kinks to work out so patience is key on wait times. Definitely family ran with folks in the kitchen and the kiddos manning the front. Menu needs to be revamped to be clearer on options as some line items aren't clear. Food is good overall. The vermicelli bowl is fresh, pork is tender,and plentiful ! Fried wontons are a great starter! Pho broth is a tad different but still flavorful. I'll let the phonatics figure it out for themselves.

I'm way too excited about this sweet mom and pop shop opening up in oak hill at the old Chen z location. Right before the Y. RIP CHEN Z. They're doing a soft opening right now before they launch the full menu. Today is the first day so a long wait but stafff is very welcoming and helpful. Took my food to go cause my two kids wouldn't chill long enough for me to eat my pho in peace haha The pho broth was delicious and fragrant Protein was plentiful. I didn't get any herbs with my order but there were bell sprouts and jalapeños in my bowl. The combo fried rice was legit. It had eggs chicken beef pork and shrimp! The whole shabang. Would definitely come back for this full menu! Welcome to the neighborhood yall!

Amazing Vietnamese food and very welcoming staff. My husband and I stopped by late on a Monday and were greeted warmly. We got a beef bowl and pho with chicken and rare beef. Both were full of flavor and amazing! The price for the pho was slightly higher than other restaurants in the area but overall delicious so we would return. Also the place was super clean inside. I would HIGHLY recommend if you're in this area!

Pho Wok has done a nice update to the space. Clean, bright, and a nice aesthetic. Service was friendly. The food was tasty, though IMHO, the pho broth was slightly under seasoned. I guess that works well for anyone that wants to be able to salt their own broth. Will be back to try more of the menu!

FANTASTIC! I have been trying to find a good pho place close to me and this place is perfect! We ordered our food to go and it was soo delicious! I ordered the med rare steak pho and shrimp spring rolls. The gentleman that took our order was very friendly and attentive. The inside is very clean and bright with lots of space to enjoy your meal. Definitely will be eating here once a week!

best wings my son said he ever had!! don't snooze on the lemon pepper wings. we will be back to eat here for sure!!

Saturday we met our niece here for lunch in the early afternoon. The gentleman who met us at the door was very friendly and told us to sit wherever we wanted. The restaurant was not crowded. It's in a strip mall and is not fancy but it's very clean. They let us take our time looking at the menu and then promptly took our orders. We ordered the pho and a flat noodle with vegetables dish. Everything was absolutely delicious. Even the beef in my noodle dish was good and not chewy like in other restaurants I've eaten in. I see why their yelp rating is so high. My husband was telling his coworker where we ate and she has already been there, it's their favorite pho place. We will definitely be returning, it was worth the trip to Austin.

I just stumbled onto this place from a Google search. I ordered the crab puffs as an appetizer, they were really nice. For my main dish, I got the steamed vermicelli with pork and shrimp, accompanied with fish sauce on the side, of course! Really delicious, incredibly generous portion! I could only finish half of it and had to take the other half home! I will be definitely coming back to try the Pho soup!!!

The food here is absolutely amazing. You can't find better pho anywhere else in Austin. You also won't find better service anywhere else in the city. If you're looking for pho in Austin, this is THE place to go.

I've only been to Phowok once, but it was great food on a cold rainy night. My wife and I both had shrimp pho--so good. Here's was as it came, mine was extra spicy. Both of us to half of it to go--enough enough for dinner for two nights. Finally a Vietnamese place in Oak Hill--if we can keep it.

Stopped by during their soft opening and ordered the pho and Vietnamese egg rolls. I really enjoyed the food and the service was great. Will be coming back soon!

We are eating here their opening weekend so I don't want to give a harsh review for this place. We really enjoyed the vermicelli and it came out hot and flavorful. But we also ordered a stir fry noodle dish and the noodles came out pan fried instead which made them like crispy noodle patties, and it was bland. Just a little salty but that's it. The spring roll we had was shrimp and pork and the shrimp was delicious but the pork was dry and an off color. It didn't taste like anything and I didn't eat it but my husband did and he was ok with it. It took a while to get our food, and one dish came out like 10 minutes before the other. But, again, this is their opening weekend so I can't fault them for much except the food quality. The place is cute and laid back and fairly quiet. We will probably come back at try it again and give it another go.

New place just opened up, they just moved from Vietnam and seemed very nice. The food was very good and I'll definitely be back.

A very friendly family run place, I was excited to see a new Asian food restaurant in Southwest Austin. Great crab puffs and hot and sour soup, and delicious sesame chicken - my only minor complaint is the dish could use more sauce, which was garlicky and great. The next cold day will be a great excuse to try the Pho!

BRUUUHHHHH this phoo.... i literally finished the whole thing, i usually struggle to finish even a kids pho. i felt this in my sooouulll. i have food coma right now, im about to fall asleep in this booth. i drank all the broth and everything, i literally feel high and i dont smoke. what did they put in here???? wheeewwwwww yep this is my place. they really need beds here though.

Fantastic new restaurant! The Singapore noodles are authentic and rival the ones I had in Hong Kong! The Salt & Pepper shrimp was delectable! Beautifully decorated, clean and bright. The staff is so friendly and ready to help you explore the amazing flavors!

So excited to have delicious and affordable Vietnamese and Chinese food in the area! I loved the pork banh mi. It was perfectly cooked pork and fresh bread highly recommend!

Excellent service and staff. The atmosphere is pleasant and inviting. Food is even better than expected! Everything is cooked fresh and served timely to your table. Egg rolls and crab puffs are crunchy and flaky. Pho is to die for, broth so clear, I can see what I'm eating! Thai tea is my favorite drink, and I'll have to try it with Boba someday!

I take a bite of the pho. The savory broth melts in between teeth. I can hear me great great great great grandfather speaking to me. I tell him, "bro this pho so bomb ong noi and ong ngaoo. Like wow the night is lowkey young. The herbal scent of the mint and cilantro amalgamate. I can feel ascending from culinary art that has passed down from 500 BC. the warm soup goes into my bloodstream. It's so cold outside but the pho is #warm guys. it was so delicious. I forgot I was in Texas until this man with a gigantic cowboy hat walked into door. He said, "Howdy yall, I'm ready to try some pho." And we were, "pho is for everyone it's for the community." and everyone cheered and the owner were so nice. Like so nice. I wasn't in Vietnam the whole time??? The pho is so powerful and so is the kindness of the owners of this establishment. Go try pho. You should visit Vietnam but this is pretty close. #pho4life.

They made the old ChenZ place so cute now. Love the decor in the new room. The food was very good. Nice flavor in the pho with all the side fixings. My daughter got the kids sweet and sour chicken and they brought the sauce on the side with a bowl of perfect rice to go with it. She loved it. My hubby and son got the bbq pork bahn mi sandwich and said it was really spicy (they love spice). My mom got the vermicelli with chicken and it fed her for a few meals. We were in a hurry to make it to my daughter's volleyball so they helped us quickly get the check and to go containers for all the leftovers. Sweet staff, nice service, definitely an upgrade. We will be back!

We both like hot and sour soup, but this was inedible due to overly high heat level. Beef Hunan was unremarkable and beef was tough. We're waiting a month to try again, hoping we just encountered opening jitters.

Love this new spot! I am addicted to pho and have tried various locations in Austin. This is in my top 3. The broth is delicious and the spring rolls are great. The ambiance was great as well.

Maybe the best lemongrass/spicy combination Vermicelli bowl in town. The shrimp from this place is par none. I've also loved the bahn mi with grilled shrimp, pork is a bit gristley. Mongolian sauce is gentle, but very interesting due to Chinese wine, I believe. So glad they moved into my neighborhood. ( Ps was not impressed by the hot and sour soup.)

My family loves this restaurant! It is our second time here and we will be back. My husband and I ordered the Birds Nest noodles and pan fried noodles and the kids ordered wings, boba shake and Pho. We love this locally owned neighborhood spot for Vietnamese and Chinese food. We enjoyed the chicken pho, brisket pho, spring rolls, and vermicelli. They were all delicious. The pho broth was so fresh and flavorful. I know I'll be craving this all the time, especially on cold days. Easy parking and friendly service. We're happy to support this family-owned business!

Everything was excellent especially the chicken wings and the sweet and sour chicken. The sauce is almost drinkable. It is so delicious that if I was closer I'd eat at this restaurant every day. The fried rice and king pao was incredible!!! The staff is so darn sweet. Great personalities!! When you go make sure you meet Derrick! He is a wonderful man-owner of this wonderful restaurant! Ate here today and was very pleased with the food. Tasty and authentic! So nice to finally have a pho spot in west oak hill! They also have Chinese food too! The place it clean and service was good!

I was so excited to see a Vietnamese restaurant coming to our neighborhood. And I have not been disappointed. Since their soft opening, I've been 3 times. They're working out some kinks, but the food is fantastic and the service is friendly and great! I loved the Pho, rice dish, Bun (vermicelli), shrimp egg rolls, wonton soup, and their classic spring rolls are wonderful! I can't wait to go back for Bánh mì. The place is so clean, bright and welcoming. The last restaurant in this spot was sadly very dirty, and you wouldn't even know it's the same place. I will be there at least 1x a week.

Recently remodeled, this restaurant offers a perfect blend of Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine. We've tried several dishes, including the phở, Chinese egg rolls, and fried rice, and everything was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend for anyone seeking flavorful, authentic dishes!
