"Phở Phú Vương has been open for more than 25 years and features a unique blend of Northern and Southern styles of pho. Owner Phạm Văn Cử’s parents are from Nam Dinh Province, about 50 miles outside of Hanoi, and when they relocated to HCMC in 1954, they brought their family pho recipe. To cater to Southern taste buds, they made the broth slightly sweeter and leaned into flavors of ginger, anise, and cinnamon. Make sure to order the creamy poached egg yolk, which explodes as you slurp." - Linh Phan

I had a Phu at this place during my visit to Ho Chi Minh City. I had a bowl of Phu for my lunch. Portion size was really good and heavy. It tasted really good. Restaurant staff had English speaking staff. Spacious. Little bit crowded during the lunch time but it was fine. Good restaurant to have an authentic Vietnamese Phu in Saigon. Recommended.

Had a pleasant bowl of southern pho here. Soup was beefy and meats are generally very soft except the tendons that were rather chewy. The beef ball was crunchy in texture. I like it that in Ho Chi Minh all kinds of condiments are provided for you to adjust your soup to your taste. Price was fair for the quality you get

Walking past at lunchtime and noticed lots of locals here. Gave it a try. Phoʻ Nam. Large size bowl, 70k. On the expensive side, but you get good value. Went a second time and had Phoʻ Gãu. Melt in the mouth yumminess. Lots of beef with great flavour, great broth and perfectly cooked round rice noodles. Recommended

Had my first pho bo of my Vietnam trip here and was sooooo good! The hoisin sauce and Sriracha are not like the ones you use in America so be careful with that if you are not used to the flavor. The Vietnamese cafe sua da is strong but rich! The nuoc mia is not too sweet which perfectly balanced the pho. I would definitely return and highly recommend to others!

If you love Vietnamese Southern pho, this place is a great choice. I ordered a mix of brisket and beef balls. Could have rated 5 stars if the beef balls were more flavourful.

Came twice cause brisket was sold out during lunch. Must order : brisket if you’re a fan of smooth fats and lean meat. I added a beef broth+beef blood+ egg just to try. Pretty good! Wet wipe provided is not free. So don’t use if you have own tissue.

The soup is very good and the meat is decent, but the noodles are way too soft They have a large variety of hot sauces, though, which is great to see

Me and my partner love the pho here so much. Very rich broth. I like that they have all the different parts of beef that I can choose from. We had tendons pho and cooked beef pho. The tendons are a bit chewy. Would be my favorite if they are cooked longer. Btw they provide wet wipe and charge 3k if you use it.
