The food was delicious and the staff were excellent. However, the experience felt cheap from the beginning because we had to order our meals using a QR code. That immediately made the experience feel worse. It doesn’t make any sense that a restaurant like this would ask customers to order with a QR code like a cheap restaurant. I noticed that there were menus stacked up next to the kitchen, but they were never offered. If it weren’t for this initial experience, the meal would have been perfect, but it kind of defined how we felt about it for the rest of the meal. The food was excellent (we loved the duck breast and pumpkin soup), but if we were given physical menus and said that we could choose to use the QR code to order if we preferred, the experience would have been better.
