Piazza's Bakery

We had these donuts for a donut tasting contest and only had the glazed and cream filled and the cream won 1st place and the glazed won 2nd up against some big named bakeries and donut shops in the area and around NE Philadelphia. We came on this day to grab some donuts before we headed to Jersey to do something else, and ended up getting some different types of donuts including Boston Cream. The donuts were so fresh and tasty. I love a Boston Cream donut and This one did not disappoint. The custard in the middle of the donut tasted so good and I was surprised as how filled it was which is always a plus. I would've rated it 5 stars but the lady working wasn't very nice and had a bad attitude. Plus they only had a few types of donuts to choose from which was strange.

Always exceptional service! I've been ordering for about a couple of years now. Their in store selection is not as broad, order ahead. Their cakes are moist, the selections and endless. Essentially if you have an idea, they will bring it to live.

Great bakery I travel from NJ to get their cakes as they are the only bakery in the area which makes Sugar Free cakes, pies and cookies. The owners and baker are very nice as they want to make sure the customer is satisfied.

I had to get to the Bakery To Grab Delicious Fastnachts. Although my job and home already had a generous supply of this special Pennsylvania Dutch treat (before lent begins) I wanted to gift a dear friend some... and from a very special bakery. I got the glazed and a cinnamon. It's nice to share with a friend over a cuppa . They are big! A wonderful bakery with lovely treats. I'll be back!

Not sure what to type other than Amazing. In and Out in 4 min and the donuts are awesome. If you ask them for a specific donut that is not out, they will make it for you on the spot. Totally recommend this place to get yourself a great donut or 50!!! They also make cakes/cookies/danish and most importantly a good reason to comeback !!!

Our daughter prefers donuts to traditional cake/cupcakes and this is our second year in a row going to Piazza's for a birthday party dessert alternative. Their donuts and donut cakes are such a big hit! They are delicious, soft, pillowy and baked to perfection. They are also great at helping to personalize if you have a theme in mind. Attached photo shows the giant donut cake (my fave!) with purple icing and "unicorn glitter" and then individual donuts with different colored sprinkles. Will definitely be back again!

Great service and delicious donuts! I needed a quick dozen donuts delivered to a sick colleague and did not have much notice to give. Piazza's staff was kind, efficient and from all reports the donuts were yummy! It was said "the box weighed 10 pounds" and "Piazza's is the best bakery in town". Well done Piazza's - I am going to stop in to try these donuts for myself!!

This Bakery is wow !!! I buy donuts, different kinds of cakes and cookies for my grandchildren. The customer service is great everyone says good morning! It's the BEST

Housed in a former convenience store, Piazza's Bakery does all its work in their large workspace and ovens in the back room. A large tray of yeast glazed pretzel twist donuts was coming out, and I immediately pointed to it, saying, "I want some of those!" Great choice, because they were terrific - light, airy, mildly yeasty and, oh, so, perfectly glazed. Very reminiscent of Crispy Kremes classics, but bigger. The brownies were just as impressive with a layer of chocolate icing above dense chewy choco base. Their croissants were also good, but not as flaky as a French boulangerie would create. Their were plenty of cookies, fruit pies and customized celebratory cakes that looked great, but were beyond the limits of my sweet tooth. Didn't see much in the way of bread or rolls while there, but that could have been a question of timing. Piazza's is worth another visit.

Stopped in for a Birthday cake - not disappointed. It was moist and the butter cream frosting was delicious, not too sweet!

I recently just purchased cupcakes for an event for my job & I was horribly embarrassed!! The cupcakes were very dry. I ordered the cupcakes on a Tuesday for a pick up on Wednesday evening (mind you, the event was on Thursday morning)....I called to make a change on Wednesday at 7:30am & I was told that the cupcakes were already made! The cupcakes were made on Tuesday instead of Wednesday like I was informed they would be....NOT acceptable. 3-9-2023

I've had cakes from here a few times recently and find the butter cream too sweet and the cake very dry. I used to come a lot when I was younger and even had my Mom and Dad's 25 th anniversary cake made by them which was excellent. I wish they would do a much better job

I called several bakeries from Bucks to Montgomery counties and no one except Piazza said they can make the cake that I had a picture of. I was blown away how wonderful it looked and how much it looked like my picture. They made it exactly how I wanted at a price that did not break my bank. It was the center piece of the dessert table and everyone commented on how wonderful it looked. Besides looking great...it was delicious! It was made of pound cake with a raspberry swirl. There cake decorator is superb...top notch! It's so stinking cute! Thanks for making my daughter's twin baby shower memorable.

Great customer service! Adam was so nice and patient. Cake was actually really delicious and I don't usually like cake at all! My mom loved the design. I will definitely use them in the future.

A few years ago, Piazza's was my go to for a treat bakery that I visited frequently. I absolutely LOVED every single cake, donut, pastry, etc they had. Unfortunately, the quality has completely went down. The last time I was here I got a single cupcake and rainbow cookies. The cupcake was cold when I bit inside it, the texture of the cake was not soft but more not used sponge like and almost tough. The icing tasted very bland. The rainbow cookies were a let down - while fresh, they had absolutely no authentic Italian Rainbow cookie flavor.

Love this Bakery have the best Donuts around and fantastic cakes been going there for years.

Cake with buttercream frosting is good. They offer whipped frosting (did not like as much) and several fillings for their cakes. Customer service is always great! We used to get "long johns" here when I was younger.....YUM! Also their chocolate raspberry "pretzels" are delicious! I now limit my bakery treats but imagine it's all good here!

I am not happy with this place. I use them for birthday cakes cupcakes whatever i need, they make quality cakes.. but today I was really dissapointed. So I needed a cake and was trying to combine the interests of both people. I specifically stated it didn't have to be exactly like what I wanted just the general idea and concept ... Well I guess it was too much... And all.of a sudden the cake wasn't big enough and they couldn't do it... hmm interesting it really wasn't that hard of a concept guys

This place is great! My husband and I walked in here last Saturday for dessert for a mother's day dinner we were having that night. We got a bunch of different kind of speciality cupcakes and a strawberry short cake. All were very good, I person had the peanut butter Cupcake and a piece of strawberry shortcake. My mother in law really enjoyed the pineapple upside down cupcake and cannoli cupcakes really good. My husband had a peppermint cupcake which he enjoyed

I came here twice so far and I thought the cake and cookies I bought were really good! Very easy to order & set up pick up.

Piazza's is the only place I will get my family's birthday cakes. Not only are they delicious but their quality of work is always consistent.

I had my daughter's birthday party over the weekend, and ordered a 2 tier cake from here, and it was absolutely beautiful & delicious! They even delivered it, and added a complimentary smash cake! Fantastic job!

We wanted a Valentine's desert, so we randomly picked a bakery and we're glad that we found this place. It's a small bakery that smells like heaven when you walk in. The staff was all friendly and the treats all looked awesome. We had chocolate heart cakes and they were so delicious that we were licking our plates clean. We'll be heading back for the next event we need something sweet for.

Terrific cake snd service. Their cakes are far and away better than those overpriced bakeries in Yardley. Doughnuts are awesome too.

Grateful that they're able to make specialty cakes for people who have dietary issues however I'm pissed off that we wanted them done at 10 then they said they couldn't make them till 12 then they couldn't make them till 130 like so that means that people who cant eat ur standard cakes have to wait hours and hours and hours after their party in order to have their cupcakes or cake

This was my second visit and both times I was very satisfied with the quality of the cakes I got! The first time was a last minute decision and bought what was ready and they were able to personalize it for me no problem. This last visit I preordered a cake and then called to add strawberry filling to it and it was delicious and was enjoyed by all! I highly recommend and will defiantly be back!

Everyone was so disappointed in the wedding cake Piazza's made for us, this past weekend (8-07-2010). It was suppose to be a butter pound cake with chocolate ganache filling. The cake itself was dry and very hard around the edges. It had to have been made days ahead of time, then frozen!!!! The choc. ganache filling was horrible! We could not taste any chocolate at all. The outside of the cake was a disaster!!!!!! It looked like a child made it!!!! What a waste of money. A wedding cake it the focal point of the table.... I would never order a cake from Piazza's again!!!!!!! If you want an elegant cake, don't order from Piazza's Bakery. They keep the bakery so HOT, no wonder the cake was terrible.

this is a family business and being such they make their frostings out of Crisco which is very bad for anyone who eats it, a sugar based version would be much better and somewhat better for you, the few times I have tasted whatever they baked I found it disgusting and would never buy anything from there because it is just too foul to try and eat

I order their breakfast pastries here. I ask for an assortment and these guys go nuts. Big hit at the office, try their croissants, danish, and cinnamon rolls.
