The 15 Best Restaurants In Jackson Hole - Jackson Hole - The Infatuation

"Pica’s, which is tucked away behind an Albertsons in a small strip center, makes the best Mexican food in town. Get one of their massive burritos for a dinner that could stretch into two meals—order it “wet” to get chipotle enchilada sauce, salsa fresca, sour cream, and cheese slathered on top. The quesadillas are also good—they’re made with fresh, soft flour tortillas and come with a side of black beans, sour cream, and Mexican rice. While you can probably always get in for a sit-down dinner in their simple space, Pica’s is primed for easy takeout." - lanie brice

Our very first meal in Jackson, Wyoming was a delicious one. My research I had found that Pica’s Mexican Taqueria had received good reviews, so we gave it a try. We were not disappointed. Pica’s is a simple walk up, order and pay, and then you find a seat and they bring the food to you. The prices weren’t too bad, especially considering you’re in Jackson where everything’s a little bit more pricey. I went with the chicken mole poblano enchiladas, and my wife got a wet burrito. The food was excellent. Very delicious, and full of flavor. We are used to getting chips and salsa/beans/cabbage upon arrival, but at Pica’s you have to pay for it. And unfortunately, it wasn’t until AFTER we paid for chips and salsa, that I saw their cheezey chorrrizo bean dip. So we got that as well. And THAT was EXCELLENT. The tortilla chips were crispy, salty, and delicious. Pica’s has a self-serve water station, and we also got some drinky-drinks. My wife enjoyed their margarita so much, she had a second. The inside seating was packed, so we found a nice spot outside. We ate as much as our stomachs could hold, and took the rest to go. My wife and I love us some Mexican food, and where we live in Central Cali, I’d argue we have some of the best Mexican food outside of Mexico itself. So to be honest, my wife was not expecting much from this Wyoming spot. But this was excellent. We highly recommend stopping for a meal if you ever find yourself in Jackson.

Ohh!! The food was soo yummy. The portions are decent. We had open burrito and enchilada. Both tasted real good and we even took burritos for dinner. You can customize and the service is good. There is decent parking available which could get busy during noon especially on weekends, but the place offers such tasty food with warmth.

We had a wonderful dinner here! The host & servers were extremely kind, efficient, and attentive! The food was top-notch, well-portioned, and the presentation was on point! There was pro football (soccer) on all the TVs, and the atmosphere was vivacious. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it was my favorite meal in Jackson! I highly recommend "The Trio" - it was spectacular! Hats off to the whole crew on 06/01/25.

Salsa is good. Fresh...but needs a bit of puree to be better. Too chunky and falls off chips. Chips are way too thick but have good flavor. We ordered a couple carne dishes. Meat was overcooked dry and chewy. Rice was not fluffy. Flavor was OK. Black beans were unedible. Taste was bland with a slight soapy aftertaste ( to me). Not certain what dishes warranted the recommendations on the net. Staff was very helpful. Atmosphere is clean and casual. Restroom was clean.

After much consideration I've settled on 3 stars. 3.5 stars would be more apt, but it wasn't quite enough for me to round to a 4. Everything was just ... okay, really. It was fine. If I needed food I know I could eat here and have a decent experience, but it's not somewhere I'd be recommending to people as a first choice when they visited Jackson. I wish it had been better.

Had a great, low key dinner at Pica’s. It was on a Saturday night and the restaurant was crowded but the atmosphere was lively and tables were turning over quickly enough that you didn’t have to wait for one long. It did take about 30 mins to get our food since they had a big rush right when we got there (this the 4-star service rating) but it was to be expected. Great margaritas and pico. Outdoor seating an option too.

Pricey for what is served. I had a torta with breaded chicken breast, where I didn’t see that ground bread anywhere, until I looked closely it has like a super thin layer of it, almost nothing, Milanezas should be well breaded. The kind of bread as a bun that they offer is someone so different from a telera bread. The tacos al pastor we got also had nothing to do with it, I know I can’t expect real Mexican food but this place was too far from any expectations. When we arrive to order and then we try to sit down we noticed that almost all the tables where dirty, there just 2 tables occupied by customers. In the other hand it was very uncomfortable to see that PDA (Public Display of Affection) from this girl cashier towards his boyfriend in front of the cashier counter, too many hugs and kisses for at least 20 minutes in front of customers. Management should do something about it, because me, also a manager, I would not tolerate this unprofessional behavior.

Great place to eat and hang out. Food was great. Wish your margaritas were made fresh. Tasted more like the pre mixed bottles you buy. Overall satisfied with everything else.
