Our very first meal in Jackson, Wyoming was a delicious one. My research I had found that Pica’s Mexican Taqueria had received good reviews, so we gave it a try. We were not disappointed. Pica’s is a simple walk up, order and pay, and then you find a seat and they bring the food to you. The prices weren’t too bad, especially considering you’re in Jackson where everything’s a little bit more pricey. I went with the chicken mole poblano enchiladas, and my wife got a wet burrito. The food was excellent. Very delicious, and full of flavor. We are used to getting chips and salsa/beans/cabbage upon arrival, but at Pica’s you have to pay for it. And unfortunately, it wasn’t until AFTER we paid for chips and salsa, that I saw their cheezey chorrrizo bean dip. So we got that as well. And THAT was EXCELLENT. The tortilla chips were crispy, salty, and delicious. Pica’s has a self-serve water station, and we also got some drinky-drinks. My wife enjoyed their margarita so much, she had a second. The inside seating was packed, so we found a nice spot outside. We ate as much as our stomachs could hold, and took the rest to go. My wife and I love us some Mexican food, and where we live in Central Cali, I’d argue we have some of the best Mexican food outside of Mexico itself. So to be honest, my wife was not expecting much from this Wyoming spot. But this was excellent. We highly recommend stopping for a meal if you ever find yourself in Jackson.
