We only got Picazzo's because we have a gift card - and I say this because while there is a focus on cleaner ingredients and we very much greatly appreciate the heavy focus on dedicated gluten free kitchen (with vegan alternatives as well), this food is very overpriced for the portions and taste.
We got three pasta dishes and a half order of focaccia which totaled about $90!! I got the vegan picatta pasta - for some reason the chicken one comes with broccolini but the vegan one doesn't?? It was pretty good, I wish they hand made their gluten free pasta given there heavy focus on it, but I like that the pasta shape was different than other places (rigatoni versus the typical penne). There were a lot of capers, a good amount of the daring vegan chicken which was my favorite part of the meal. I didn't really taste any lemon... very subtle flavor. It was nice to have the foccacia sop up the olive oil base. The foccacia was moist and not crumbly, it was pretty good gluten free bread! Couldn't tell it was foccacia per se, just good bread, is it worth the price? Maybe!
My parents both got the vegan meatball marinara also with rigatoni. There wasn't a lot of sauce. There were two giant vegan meatballs, they were very tough, had to use a knife to cut the meatballs lmao that's not normal. A little dry, they said, overall just okay! We had leftovers of the pasta, we ate all the protein!
We did take out so can't comment on service or ambiance
