The Best Twin Cities Restaurants With Stunning Views | Eater Twin Cities

"Pimento on the Lake brings Jamaican cuisine to the shore of Bde Maka Ska. Go for the braised oxtail or the One Love special — which combines jerk chicken and slow-roasted jerk pork with the usual rice, slaw, and tender plantains — and pull up a seat for the sunset. Most evenings feature live music, with salsa lessons on Tuesday." - Eater Staff

Pimento Jamaican Kitchen Review - Whittier - Minneapolis - The Infatuation

"A meal at Pimento Jamaican Kitchen feels like a visit with your bubbly best friend. That’s not just because there are bright yellow walls, but also because you’re greeted with genuine warmth from the staff. The counter-service menu lets you build a meal with a couple protein options or curry vegetables, coconut rice and beans, sweet fried plantains, slaw, and a choice of sauce.  Try the braised oxtail with the Kingston Kick sauce if you just need to feel something during the Minneapolis winter, or the MN Nice sauce if you’re looking for a flavorful, medium-heat level hot sauce that won’t require any milk to cool things down. They have a garage door that opens onto Nicollet Avenue, along with an adjacent bar that has an impressive selection of Jamaican rum and a dancehall music night on Fridays." - Stacy Brooks

We stopped at Pimentos at Bde Maka Ska on Mother's day for a bite to eat. The self serve kiosk was easy enough to use, just remember to grab you drinks before you walk away! All staff were pleasant, efficient and helpful. We went around the corner, found a table, and waited no more than 5-10 minutes for our food to be ready. I got the curry chicken and Jamaica drink. The curry chicken was absolutely delicious and came with rice & peas, slaw & Plantains. The Plantains were cooked just right and were nice and sweet. The portion was plentiful and I had leftovers to take home. My picky daughter got the chicken strip sandwich. She said it was good, but pretty basic. I love the location and sitting on the patio looking out at the lake. The decor represents the native land it is and blends beautifully with the scenery. I will definitely visit again.

Google
The order taker was so rude and unprofessional. I asked for no slaw with my order and she made me feel like I asked her to climb Mt. Everest. Needless to say, $34 later, the slaw was still on my food. Glad I didn’t tip because I already knew she didn’t care. Definitely won’t be back since the hospitality is non-existent here.

I’m a huge fan of Pimento on Nicollet and I was excited to try their newest location on Bde Maka Ska, known as “Pimento on the Lake.” Not surprisingly, the location is beautiful. There are plenty of places to sit and take in the views of the lake, as well as shady spots for those particularly hot days. The overall pavilion is a major upgrade from the previous building (which was home to Tin Fish.) As for the food, it was delicious as always. We ordered the standard jerk chicken combo with chicken, rice, beans, plantains and a little slaw. We also tried the jerk black bean burger and it was very tasty. The fries were even better, crispy and flavorful. Unfortunately, the service wasn't great. We ordered our food and no one told us what happened next. The person at the register just handed us a receipt without saying a word. Fortunately, when we wandered around the corner to find a table, we saw the signs for a separate pick-up window. No problem. We waited. It took about 15 minutes and no one else was waiting for food besides us. No big deal. But after picking up our food, I realized the waters were missing. I went back to the pick-up window, only to be completely ignored by 4-5 different staff members over the course of 10 minutes. I mean, they all looked at me from back at their stations several times, but no one moved. Finally, I had to ask in a loud voice (they were all back in the kitchen) “Hello?? Can someone help me??” Reluctantly, someone wandered over to tell me: “You have to get your water from the other window.” So, I went back to where I originally paid, stood in line for 5 more minutes, and finally received our waters. I wish I could give Pimento on the Lake 5 stars. The food and location are outstanding. But the service was lacking that day and I believe they’ll improve over time. I hope they will! We’ll go back and try again soon.

Google
I hope they figure it out. The food is good and the setting is unbeatable. But they just don’t know how to organize a menu that fits the bill. We ended up paying $94 for a family of four - with NO drinks and NO sides. The taps don’t work at all (license issue??) so we adults brought our own water. The kids love horchata but it’s an eye-watering $10 for a half-full 12 ounce cup. The entree would be an ok value if you want everything. But they ASK you about each of the sides (do you want fries?) my daughter and I didn’t, so the value diminished with each “no”. My son wanted a hot dog and nothing else - since there is no kids menu, this cost us $11. Stuff was unavailable (beer! Milk bread!) and the staff acts like they’d rather be somewhere else. They don’t even carry food out to the table, yet still prompt for a 20% tip. Sort out the management, get the taps working, create a kids menu and offer some a la carte items, and this would be our go-to patio restaurant. As it is, we probably wont come back.

This is my favorite pimento location! Beautiful views, lots of seating, amazing atmosphere and wonderful staff. Highly recommend! Must stop if you’re going to the lake! They also have drinks!

Very impressive, great food! The people and staff are wonderful. My favorite place to go to! I recommend the curry chicken and the horchata drink is to DIE for.

Google
The atmosphere was stunning, we enjoyed live music while eating dinner. The food and beer were pricey. The pork and jerk chicken was amazing. Fried calamari was severely lacking, there was minimal breading on the calamari rings. When I asked a staff member she said "it always looks like that". There were issues with the beer tap, manager was quick to fix and very friendly.

Yelp
I haven't had a chance to try the food yet but 4 stars for the location, uniqueness of the menu, and the overall elevated experience for an outdoor dining spot. I can't wait to come back and try it one of these weeks!

Yelp
Came to the lake and got a snack. On the plus side and the reason for two stars is that the food was really good. Just got fries and a Jamaican Pattie (which is like an empanada). Fries were nice and crispy and loved the dipping sauce. The Pattie was super yummy. I would get both items again. On the down side the service was really bad. The guy taking the order was really nice and helpful but going around to the pick up window it took 20 minutes to get the food and the only other table of people there at the time, had ordered after me. I finally went up to the window and saw the food sitting up there, waiting to be brought to the pick up window. The cook just looked at me and didn't come around to give me the food. There was another person in back that just looked at me when I waved but didn't come over. Then the woman I had seen earlier calling out orders came back in the kitchen and looked right at me then walked away. It was super frustrating.

Yelp
Unlike some others, we got our food quickly but that was just the beginning of our misery. It wasn't busy (for reasons that become very clear) but most the staff acted like there were still too many customers for their liking. What we got after just a few minutes - too quickly for this to be made to order - was high-priced, lukewarm, so-so grub. What should be the star there, the Jerk Chicken, was not super impressive - a few little pieces of savory and passable, fall off the bone chicken that was Minnesota spicy atop the hugest bed of barely seasoned rice and peas you've ever seen. Terrible ratio. Served with "jerk ranch". Look, if your food is genuinely spicy, it gets served with plain dressing to quell the heat. They did the opposite because they have no pride in what they do here and zero devotion to the wonderful cuisine and culture they are representing. Beer selection was even more tragic - a complete ripoff. Paid 20.75 for two tiny, foamy cups of Mic Golden Lite! When we balked a little, a young, strange, micro-aggression wielding gentleman exclaimed "it's 13 ounces, bro!" What an idiot! He also referred to someone in our party by obviously the wrong gender. It was clear he was punking many different customers to impress the apparently new counter girl, who was pleasant enough (but she'll likely either quit or join the insanely rude vibe here.) Do yourself a favor and keep your dignity and your money far away from Pimento on the Lake by going somewhere, anywhere else. Maybe try the numerous Korean chicken joints or Mexican places on Lake St? There's Amazing Thailand on Hennepin and a Ramen place or two. Hell, there's a nearby Wing Stop I would recommend before this sham operation. At least then you'll know you'll get hot and flavorful and not bland, boring and mean spirited. Highly regret going to Pimento on the Lake and wasting $60 on such a crappy experience for two. Tl;dr: The only thing spicy here was the attitude.

Yelp
Food was okay even though the wait was long and two of the items we ordered - sauce for the chicken tenders and a side of slaw - were missing. Went back for slaw but what we got was dry. A summer Saturday people watching at the old pavilion for a beverage or an ice cream used to be a summer must. The people and the ice cream are no longer there and given the level of service I imagine that's how the folks working there like it.

Yelp
Perfect ending to a few laps around the lake on a beautiful day! We had the fish and jerk chicken sandwich on a milk bun. Also had the gouda mac and cheese bites and a side of the coconut rice and beans. Amazing flavor on everything. I love being able to sit on the lakeside and enjoy some good food and drinks! After all we don't get many patio days in this state *You walk up to order your food and they will give you a buzzer when your food is ready to pick up from another window. They also have a self service beer station which is pretty cool, we didn't partake but I believe you get a bracelet and just scan it and it will charge to your card. *

Yelp
Friday afternoon at 4pm in the heart of the summer, and there's no one there. Tells you all you need to know but we gave it a go anyway and were about to get some beers until they said their policy is to take and hold your ID. No one does this. We've had drinks all over the country and world and AT NO TIME has any establishment asked to hold our IDs while we enjoy their hospitality. So, we hopped back on our bikes and rode to Bread & Pickle where we gladly waited in a medium-length line for a can of wine, a tap beer, and fries to share. Pimento, are you taking notes? I think of all the people that live within walking distance of Pimento and I shake my head at the morons who set it up and failed their community. Can we get their names please?

Yelp
Four of us enjoyed a mid-afternoon meal on Saturday and all enjoyed it! We all had different things - I had the jerk pork. It was excellent and it was so much that I took half of it home for a second meal - not a bad value! We ordered through the touch screen and waited about 20 minutes for the food to be ready. Nice outdoor eating area, good service. I'd read so many one star reviews that I was wary, but it certainly wasn't anything like that in our experience.

Yelp
We definitely came on the stress-test day since the remodel down by the lakes! Happened upon this authentic Jamaican jerk chicken place on Mother's Day and it was very clear that they're still working out the kinks with big crowds. The front counter person seemed a little overwhelmed by the volume but was sweet when customers offered some solace and patience. It also seemed like they had some tech issues with the ordering system as well. HEADS UP! YOU DO NOT HAVE TO ORDER WITH THE STAFF!! They have two self service computers to the right (which it seems many people missed, until I hollered at them, lol) so just know you can set your order without waiting in line. HOWEVER! The food ABSOLUTELY made up for the wait and challenges! I love the concept and especially the self-pour beer/wine wall! With this you pay for a wrist band and a max of pours, and tap the wall to engage the tap to be able to pour. It's not entirely self explanatory (and I recommend to the restaurant perhaps including a visual into the tap label with an arrow pointing down within the screen above) but it functions well! The taps don't automatically let you know if they're out and there is little to no instruction on how to return your wrist band- for this I might recommend to the restaurant something like a drop off bucket so folks don't have to wait in line, and a little bit of up front instruction when it's given. They also had a special event with Mother's Day, which was probably advertised on social media, but we didn't know how it worked or where it was until after we ordered, ate, and then Rounded the corner and saw the buffet out. We didn't know how to partake or what not. Over all, there's definitely some room for improvement in the operation and communications, but the food totally makes up for it. You get just enough cultural spice and with the sauces (OMG ) you're not going to want to miss this spot! With the view?! And the had live music?!? Yes, yes, yes, and Yes! We will happily be back to support this contract at the lakes! We love Pimento!

Yelp
What a wonderful way to enjoy Bde Maka Ska - cold draft beer, jerk chicken, sweet plantains, coconut rice & beans, coleslaw and a sweet role. Love having an alternative to your classic cheese curds and burger on the lake. There was also live music! If the line is super long (you have to order from their staff to get alcohol), I recommended ordering food on the touch screen and then grabbing your beer or wine from the little shop although options are more limited.

Grace B.

Yelp
Bde snack pack? More like sad pack :( paid $31 for a real straw, an odd invention, and 2 shrimp, 2 wings, 2 cheese curds, and 17 fries. the only good thing that came from this experience was a laugh.
google avatar

Alexia O.

Yelp
Absolutely terrible. Customer service was rude. We waited over an hour and half for poor quality food. Wasted our afternoon.

Yelp
This was a pleasant surprise for a walk up snack stand by Lake Bde Maka Ska pier. I guess it's a seasonal outpost of a popular Jamaican restaurant elsewhere and we haven't been there but my family found the beef Jamaican patties, Gouda fried bites, fries, and pork coconut bread sandwiches to be yummy and the patio is pleasant. Staff was very friendly too and there's a market with some interesting teas.

Yelp
Great service from the people and the food was excellent!!! a lot of flavours, I give the food a 10 out of 10 . I visited the place along with my crew during a food tasting and this was really one of the best foods we've tasted in Minnesota , the ambience was breathtaking along with the music that was so satisfying, we met the owner Tommy and hang out with him a bit, he treats you like family one of the most down to earth earth and nicest person to be around.

Yelp
My partner & I went on a Sunday night after a walk around the lake. Beautiful night, lots of walkers & bikers around the lake. This was our 2nd visit. We've ordered from Pimento on Nicolet many times over the years & have always enjoyed the food. We've had just about everything on the menu, so we thought we knew what to expect... The guy working the counter was great! Polite & friendly. But, the food was sad. I ordered my usual One Love bowl with pulled chicken & vegetable curry, coconut rice & beans, Jamaican slaw & plantains. My partner just wanted something light, so she just ordered a side of rice & beans & a side of slaw. My One Love bowl was almost ok. The main components were good (the chicken, jerk sauce, & curry). But the rice & beans had no coconut flavor & there were about 3 beans total. The slaw wasn't slaw. It was wilted iceberg lettuce with a couple shreds of carrot. Seemed like it had been sitting on a countertop all evening. Not fresh. I brought my partner's side to the counter & asked if they could replace it or refund us. The person working the counter spent about 10 minutes running around the patio looking for the manager, & once he found him he came to our table & said he would make it right, at which point I also pointed out the lack of beans in the rice. He did bring another side of beans & rice, (which had more beans, but was still bland) & explained that the person dishing the plate didn't stir the beans into the rice. After that, when I asked about the slaw, he said he'd find out if they had another batch & returned to the kitchen. I started to eat, since we'd been sat with our food for about 15 minutes. I finished my food, my partner didn't bother eating hers, so I shared my curry. The manager never returned to follow up on the slaw situation. Before leaving, I approached the counter to see if they were going to refund my slaw. The counter worker told me that they did refund my card, but I wasn't issued a receipt & I've seen other reviews state that they were told they'd be refunded, but actually weren't, so we'll see. It's only $4 for the slaw, but with how poorly everything was executed, most restaurants would have made more of an effort to correct the issues, or at least followed up with me. Having been in the service industry for over 20 years, when I see a kitchen/management run so poorly, I get concerned about food safety. If you have people in the kitchen that are poorly trained, or just don't care about the quality of the product, things can happen in the kitchen that make the food unsafe to eat. As other reviews have said, it's really disappointing to see such a beautiful, newly built food pavilion so mishandled. As well as the unnecessary 2nd counter that could be utilized by another vendor to provide more options. This location doesn't hold a candle to the food you get from the Nicolet location. Do yourself a favor & just go a block away & get takeout food from Brim, or a couple blocks up at Lake & Irving & bring it to the lake (both are fantastic options). Hopefully, Pimento can either turns things around, or fail quickly enough to give another restaurant an opportunity to give people visiting the lake to enjoy something worthy of the location.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this gem while biking and apparently it just opened a few days ago! For the price you can sit at a table right on the lake at a decent price. Pimento is a Jamaican sandwich spot located in Bde Maká Ská, right on the shores of the lake. Ordering is done at a counter where you wait in line and pay, and then you get your order on the left side of the cash register. The food is mainly Jamaican staples like Jerk Chicken and BBQ related meats and sauces, I've posted the menu on the pricing, which range from $14-23 per person not including drinks. The best part of the place is the patio that is outdoors only, so I imagine this place is only open from the Spring to Fall. The coco bread sandwich that I ordered was delicious, had pulled pork with plantains make it very sweet and savory. It's better to arrive in a bike than a car as there's way more bike parking than car parking, plus there's the sailing pier that cars also use the parking. So yeah, get here before it closes for the season because this was a lovely gem to come across!

Yelp
The weather was perfect, so we strolled down to the lake for some lunch by the water. It was not very crowded, considering it was a beautiful 4th of July weekend. We ordered from a guy that barely spoke to us. Then getting the order took forever, and again, we were the few customers that were actually eating. I finally went up to the pick up counter and waited. There was a guy too busy looking at his computer to see that our order was ready. He finally lifted his head out of his computer, stopped talking to his buddy, and gave me my food. Again, barely said a word to me. I asked for some utensils and he pointed to a gray container, again not saying a word. He said the sauce for the jerk chicken was in with the food. Well, it wasn't. When I went back to ask for some sauce, he ignored me and started walking away, until I yelled at him to get his attention. He came over and gave me some sauce. I said he might want to start paying attention to his customers. He clearly had no clue. The food was mediocre, the sauce helped. Anyway, my sense is that the young people that work here have not had any customer training. The owner clearly couldn't care less about this establishment, or its patrons. It's too bad because this is a great place for a wonderful restaurant. Tin Fish was SO GREAT, and the two restaurants that followed have been a huge disappointment. The park board clearly needs a better vetting process.

Yelp
Food was awesome! This was my first time trying Pimento and loved it. Got the One live special with chicken and vegetables and it was super good - highly recommend and it was big enough for two! I will definitely be back for this. Love the atmosphere and music, this place is a summer vibe. The only annoying thing it the drink wall slows down the whole line and returning the wristband takes a long time and a lot of people can't figure it out. It seems like there should be a line just for ordering drinks so it doesn't back up the food line. All in all I live the food and will be back!

Colleen U.

Yelp
so sad to say this... but after many attempts to give this place, a "second" chance I can honestly say NEVER AGAIN. what in the world is going on at this place? I've never had so many employees in one place act so uninterested in doing there jobs. They were literally on their phones, ignoring us. infact we were ignored by multiple people and then when we went to another counter to order, she suggested we shouldn't be there and that we had to go back to the other counter. for the equivalent of three fast food meals, the bill was over $80! The food was not all bad, but it definitely was not very good either. With the exception of the plantains... They were delicious! but certainly not worth the excruciating experience. I do really hope they can turn things around! It's such a beautiful location and deserves a really well run restaurant! PS. They do not have their alcohol/beer yet and don't know when they will... I would forgive a lot for a beer.

Nicholas G.

Yelp
For context, I've never left a Yelp review before. Paid 21 dollars for plain, unseasoned shrimp. Rice and Beans also had no seasoning. Didn't get sauce I ordered. Not worth the money. Buddy of mine ordered at the same time as me and didn't get his sandwich until 20 minutes after I got my order.
google avatar

Danielle P.

Yelp
Expensive, slow and limited. Food takes forever, even if it's not busy. To get a beer you must stand in line for a card for the tap wall ( that part is fine). But then you must stand in line again to pay for the beer from the tap wall.

Michael E.

Yelp
Just generally disappointed. Why have 2 outlets for the same business In the The food and beer side and then a market selling basically the same cuisine. We used the self-serve option and avoided the long beer-ordering lines, but still waited 20 minutes for food. Chicken fingers were good, fries not bad but coconut rice was dry and had no flavor at all - total costs $35. The location could use a cafe with coffee and baked goods! Especially when the weather gets cooler. Oh, and a regular sized can of Coke costs $2.50 in the market. Not really a market then.
google avatar

Lorrie O.

Yelp
I can't tell you how sad I am about the service. I've given them multiple chances. I've never waited in line shorter than 20 minutes for a drink. Only one cashier when 3 minimum are needed. Discussed with the manager who seemed somewhat flippant. So sad, given our long awaited ancipatoon of something better than the other outdoor eateries.

michael m.

Yelp
We waited so many years for this location to return, one of our favorite spots by the lake. What an utter disappointment it has been. We've been there 3 times since it re-opened, and have been seriously let down all 3 times. Last time we were ordering off the self-help touch screen and were about to pay when a staff member came from the kitchen stating to the FOH staff, "I told you we don't have any rice." This is their main ingredient in nearly every dish. "Beach menu only!" he said. Beach menu is hot dogs and hamburgers. That day was a beautiful weekend in April and they didn't even have half the tables & chairs set up, so there was nowhere to sit anyway. A single person behind the counter. Long lines. I walked though there on Wednesday, a beautiful day. They weren't even open, zero tables or chairs to sit. At least with the old pavilion setup, there were permanent tables so there was always a place to take a break. I went to their website and their FB page. No mention of days open or hours of service. Why is this place so severely understaffed and badly managed? I appreciated the city trying to get some diversity (beyond the hot dogs and hamburgers), but if they're managed this badly, the city needs to step in. And how about the simple courtesy of informing your potential customers of your business hours? It seems that would be the bare minimum of running a business in a highly visible and very popular location. Do better, Pimento! The current operation is an embarrassment. I gave one star because zero stars is not an option.

Mary V.

Yelp
This place is just OK as far as food, service and ambience. The fish sandwich was fishy, and the cole slaw had no dressing. The fries were great, though. Very expensive for fast food, and they make you pay for sauces. Staff didn't seem to enjoy their jobs. Sad.

Hillda O.

Yelp
THE WORST FOOD!!! ordered kingston wings and oxtail at 8.04pm 9/22/24. They placed a chicken breast at the bottom and covered it with two wings. Oxtail was a bunch of chopped up bones with cartilage. Food was dry and looked dirty. Never in my life will i ever order here. Not to mention the wait and service. Bad experience!!

I was very excited to visit this new walk up window on the lake. I realized I ordered the wrong thing and tried to get it fixed at the counter, at that point she was trying to charge me 17$ more. Super disapointing, as I've worked in the food industry for a very long time to get denied. I spend 16$ and left a tip. Ended up leaving my food with the counter server. Hopefully they up their customer service but I won't be back for food. Everyone else was pleasant. Nice area.

Yelp
They don't seem interested in running a restaurant. It was a gorgeous day, on the lake, at lunch time and there were almost no guests! I found out why! There is almost no service. There was one guy who appeared at the order window if you screamed for him, otherwise there was a self service terminal that everyone ignored. - The city has an obligation to lease these properties to companies that will serve the visitors and residents. Please, Mayor Frey, insist that these people staff this restaurant or get another one in here!

Yelp
Would not recommend. Guy working the counter should not have been there. He was overwhelmed with the moderate number of customers. He definitely wasn't sure how the food would come out once it was ordered. Waited 30 minutes for curry chicken inside the shop like the guy said and finally asked the folks cooking at the stand next door who were able to get me the food. Also, the guy pouring drinks was sick and touching the top of cups when handing out drinks (I'm not assuming he was sick, he said he had a terrible cold). If you do eat here. Just order then walk to the larger outdoor area. That's where they will call out your food order.

Yelp
The beer wall seemed very confusing and really slowed down the process for customers and the person ringing up the tab (having to each have your own credit card, getting a wrist bracelet and returning the bracelet). Also, mostly the same beers on the wall were also available in cans so I don't see the point. I would suggest getting rid of the beer pours, or if you do keep them have them be local brews only.

Yelp
I want to support local establishments and small businesses, and also want to address when things aren't working well within those establishments so improvements can be made. We waited for an hour for our food at this location while on a walk along the lake (with our impatient and hungry 17 month old). It was also extremely windy, to the point where once we got the food we opted to not eat at the minimal seating options (all tables are placed in the wind tunnel of the restaurant). Perhaps the wind, Pimento can't do much about - though I do think that needs to be addressed by them or the city to put up some sort of barrier because that corner of the lake gets so windy - but they can address the time aspect. Even if we had waited 20 minutes for our food, it would have been annoying, but tolerable. Also, I heard some people talking about how much they missed ice cream (this area used to sell fish tacos and ice cream). First, address the time factor, then address ice cream and please bring it back!!

Yelp
Horrible experience. Don't buy wine or beer. They have rigged their dispensing system to rip you off. They charged me $27 for 1/3 cup of wine. You have no recourse once you pour your beverage because your card is automatically charged when you pour your beverage. Staff was rude when I tried to explain and contest the charge.

Yelp
Great place right on the lake. Great food. Great people watching. Beautiful view. Right next to a kayak, canoe and paddleboard rental called WheelFun Rentals. Great date idea to come kayak and then go to Pimento after. So happy it's finally open.

Yelp
Yikes! Food is good but we were ripped off last week when they had a manager's special that was not on the menu. The chef said he made spare ribs. They were ok but they charged $30 for 4 ribs! They later acknowledged it should have been less and we were told they gave back $9 on the credit card. Didn't happen. Very disappointed

Yelp
We were really excited to check this place out, but regrettably disappointed. Firstly, it was a Sunday and there was live music, however, it was painfully loud. If you wanted to sit on the lovely upper deck, it was impossible to converse without shouting. It was also nearly impossible to hear the counter person call names for the food. Do we need music at all? Would much rather hear the birds and waves from the lake. Secondly, it's nice to have Jamaican food, however, we were so hoping for a walleye taco, like we used to get at the concession stand before. They didn't have alternative food if you weren't into Jamaican. A little diversity would be nice. Thirdly, we ordered the 'coconut rice and beans'. However, no beans no coconut. Just some mildly seasoned regular rice - a little dry. We may give it another try, but I guess it's not nearly what we were used to experiencing. I'd love to support them, and hope that improvements are made.
