Where Camila Cabello Eats In Miami - Miami - The Infatuation

"Pinecrest Bakery is a Miami institution for a late night pastelito or cafe con leche. At 3am, after the party is over, you can get some Cuban comfort food. It’s open 24 hours a day and is lifesaving after a night out when you’re starving." - brennan carley

The Best Croquetas In Miami, Ranked - Miami - The Infatuation

"There are nearly as many Pinecrest Bakeries in Miami as there are uninsured drivers. But their flagship on US1 in (obviously) Pinecrest is the most reliable one (and we can’t be held liable if you go to another location). If you like a thick and sticky masa, go to this Pinecrest Bakery and get their jamon croquetas de la casa. They’re long, brown, and super crispy. But the inside is pinker than Miss Piggy’s wardrobe—and packed with just as much ham. As busy as this place gets, it’s a very relaxed bakery where you can sit at a table and eat your croquetas in peace under (of all things) a crystal chandelier." - virginia otazo

The Miami Pastelito Power Rankings - Miami - The Infatuation

"When we did our pastelito tasting, our notes on Pinecrest's versions included praise for its oozing guava, layers, puffiness, flakiness, and glaze. So, pretty much everything. Pinecrest just makes a very balanced pastelito. The only thing holding it back is the flavor of its guava and cheese filling. Neither have flavors that really register when you bite in, but given the amount of Pinecrest locations in Miami, this is a solid choice next time it's your turn to provide the office pastelitos." - mariana trabanino, virginia otazo, ryan pfeffer

Pinecrest Bakery Review - Pinecrest - Miami - The Infatuation

"There are now almost as many Pinecrest Bakeries in Miami as there are uninsured drivers. But their flagship on US1 in (obviously) Pinecrest is the best. It has an actual glass chandelier, a giant mural of coffee beans, and so many dark brown tones, that you’ll feel like you’re inside a Cuban colada. As busy as this place gets, it’s pretty relaxed. You can sit at a table and eat solid pastelitos and really good (and crunchy) croquetas. The coffee is as strong as Cuban coffee should be." - Virginia Otazo

All the girls that work here are so friendly and nice that we come here every Sunday after church because of their treatments towards us. .. and on top of that the food is so fresh and good. If there was 10 stars I’d give it.

Great place and great service. I didn't realize they served requests. I recently purchased some and asked for the Venezuelan sauce, they gave me the Colombian sauce. I am happy with the establishment. I just thought it was funny that the Gringo knew the difference between the Latin sauces.

I am waiting in front of the register and these 2 ladies not once asked me if I needed help. They were chatting about a guy. The young man filling the fridge with items finally saw my face and asked it i have been helped. The lady with glasses and blondie ladies need more training with customer services. And no client need to hear their gossip while doing coffee. This is at 4ish on a Thursday. And to make it worse the philly steak and bread was burnt. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!! Thanks for the waste of money.

Nice place, good coffee, disappointing food. Worst empanadas ever. I ordered ham and cheese, and spinach. The ham and cheese was just hollow dough with a roll of ham inside. The spinach looked better but tasted worse.

My husband and I love to come here for the delicious habanero wrap and can’t forget the cortadito. Always served with a smile 😊It is also, really conveniently located close to my place of work. I highly recommend this Pinecrest

Very Disappointed I arrived at Pinecrest Bakery on 57th Avenue at 6:20 AM, only to find the store being cleaned with a strong smell of bleach. Although your posted hours say you open at 6:00 AM, the situation was chaotic and unwelcoming. One employee initially told me to come in, but another completely ignored me. After waiting for three minutes, she finally asked her coworker, "Did you tell her to come in?" When the coworker confirmed she had, the second employee abruptly said, "No, we are closed." Frustrated, I decided to go to the 67th Avenue and Dixie location instead. The service there was excellent and on target. When I brought my husband his café con leche at the hospital and told him about the incident, he replied, “I don’t know why you would even go there. I’ve been there twice past 6:00 AM, closer to 6:30 AM, and they’re never ready.” A note to the manager: please consider updating your posted hours to avoid this unpleasant experience and train your employees on proper customer service.

The food was salty, empanadas and the ball with meat in it I forgot the name. The deserts look amazing but I didn’t try them. The coffee was good
