Where Camila Cabello Eats In Miami - Miami - The Infatuation
"Pinecrest Bakery is a Miami institution for a late night pastelito or cafe con leche. At 3am, after the party is over, you can get some Cuban comfort food. It’s open 24 hours a day and is lifesaving after a night out when you’re starving." - brennan carley
The Best Croquetas In Miami, Ranked - Miami - The Infatuation
"There are nearly as many Pinecrest Bakeries in Miami as there are uninsured drivers. But their flagship on US1 in (obviously) Pinecrest is the most reliable one (and we can’t be held liable if you go to another location). If you like a thick and sticky masa, go to this Pinecrest Bakery and get their jamon croquetas de la casa. They’re long, brown, and super crispy. But the inside is pinker than Miss Piggy’s wardrobe—and packed with just as much ham. As busy as this place gets, it’s a very relaxed bakery where you can sit at a table and eat your croquetas in peace under (of all things) a crystal chandelier." - virginia otazo
The Miami Pastelito Power Rankings - Miami - The Infatuation
"When we did our pastelito tasting, our notes on Pinecrest's versions included praise for its oozing guava, layers, puffiness, flakiness, and glaze. So, pretty much everything. Pinecrest just makes a very balanced pastelito. The only thing holding it back is the flavor of its guava and cheese filling. Neither have flavors that really register when you bite in, but given the amount of Pinecrest locations in Miami, this is a solid choice next time it's your turn to provide the office pastelitos." - mariana trabanino, virginia otazo, ryan pfeffer
Pinecrest Bakery Review - Pinecrest - Miami - The Infatuation
"There are now almost as many Pinecrest Bakeries in Miami as there are uninsured drivers. But their flagship on US1 in (obviously) Pinecrest is the best. It has an actual glass chandelier, a giant mural of coffee beans, and so many dark brown tones, that you’ll feel like you’re inside a Cuban colada. As busy as this place gets, it’s pretty relaxed. You can sit at a table and eat solid pastelitos and really good (and crunchy) croquetas. The coffee is as strong as Cuban coffee should be." - Virginia Otazo
The 15 Best Places for Pastelitos in Miami, Florida | Eater Miami
"Satisfy that pastelito craving any time of the day at Pinecrest Bakery, with twelve locations spanning from North Miami to Key Largo open 24 hours a day. Stop by any location and enjoy a variety of flavors, including savory chorizo, sweet guava, and cream cheese. For those with an adventurous appetite, splurge on the black angus burger stuffed with cream cheese and sandwiched between two guava pastries." - Stacy Moya
Breakfast sandwich was huge. Very good. Fresh and hot. Servers were very nice, but helps if you speak Spanish. I don't and was a bit confusing. Very busy and a bit chaotic. Definitely good food. Tables are scarce.

Good bakery franchise in South Miami. Grabbed a quick bite before going to the movies. At 7 pm, it was low on food items and did not have rice for the Havana Bowls. The two lady attendants were really nice and helpful. The Cuban Sandwich was very good. Free parking in front. Descent prices.

This place is a really nice place. I’ve been here a few times. It’s excellent. I was just talking to my wife about Miami having less bakeries. They only had a few bakeries but this one’s really nice. Desserts are excellent. I haven’t tasted them, but they look good.

First time coming to the location in South Miami. I came around 8 PM. They were low on many bakery items, but I was able to get many of the items fried fresh instead of baked, so it was no issue.
Free dessert for review! Looking forward to it. ☺️

Service is very quick and the food is delicious. The croquetas were made to order along with the tequenos. The place was spotless. Not to mention the ladies were beyond kind! Definitely would recommend to anyone.

All the girls that work here are so friendly and nice that we come here every Sunday after church because of their treatments towards us. .. and on top of that the food is so fresh and good. If there was 10 stars I’d give it.

I am waiting in front of the register and these 2 ladies not once asked me if I needed help. They were chatting about a guy. The young man filling the fridge with items finally saw my face and asked it i have been helped. The lady with glasses and blondie ladies need more training with customer services. And no client need to hear their gossip while doing coffee. This is at 4ish on a Thursday. And to make it worse the philly steak and bread was burnt. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!! Thanks for the waste of money.

Ordered a steak sandwich and got what look like a black bottom of a shoe that was 1mm thick. Disappointing to say the least. They are clearly trying to save on quality and it’s been downhill.
