Pink Ivy Kitchen and Bar

Fantastic! The staff is amazing, attentive and check in often. The food was amazing in many ways. The cauliflower for instance seems bland after the first bite but by the third the flavors start to explode. The Korean beef lettuce wraps are on point with home made jang. Scallops were perfect. Finally a fantastic dairy free dessert also, the mochi cake. (Apparently they also had a chocolate one for a time).

Came here for dinner and when a restaurant is this good, you want to come back again and again and luckily their menu is seasonal so you have lots of opportunities to try more dishes from the same place! I ordered two appetizers to share, two entrees, and two desserts. I took pictures so hope they help! This is a return spot for certain. Please remember to book reservations as this place does fill up fast even on a week night! Everything is made fresh and you could really taste the flavor in every bite. I would not hesitate to recommend this place and it is definitely on our list of date spots. Hope the photos help! I will have more to report on my next adventure. The atmosphere was really nice and we appreciated the music playing.

(If you don’t wanna read this. In short words this place was amazing) I recently ate at Pink Ivy and I can honestly say it was a 100,000,000/10(not exaggerating) experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely spectacular, every bite was full of flavor and clearly made with care. You can tell they put real thought into both the ingredients and the presentation because everything looked just as amazing as it tasted. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. After you eat your meal. Make sure to make your way to the cute bathroom. Instantly I see two signs saying “hello beautiful” and “hello gorgeous”. Which makes you feel amazing after filling your stomach up with delicious food. If you’re looking for a place that never disappoints, this is it. Everyone and their mother needs to come eat here at least once, and once you do, you’ll definitely be coming back. I mean, even when they hand you your check it comes in a cute stand with a diamond pen! Pink Ivy truly sets the standard for what a great restaurant should be! Enjoyed dinner last night at the Pink Ivy Kitchen. The atmosphere is clubby and chic, with modern lighting and eclectic colors. Good selection of cocktails, wines, beers and NA drinks available. Starters and Appetizers all sounded good. We opted for some lettuce wraps with 2 sauces, added roasted carrots, and had the Salmon on hummus with roasted vegetables, the Meatballs in a fiery tiziziki sauce, and their Smash burger. meatballs were definitely a hit.

Make sure to add this outstanding restaurant to your dining list! Creative and delicious flavors, excellent service and vibrant ambiance in charming Hopkins. We enjoyed/shared the lamb sausage small plate, Caesar salad and scallops entree. All were excellent. Their burger and beet salad are also delicious.

The drinks were immaculate!! Its a cozy and well designed place with unique menu options. We went on Sunday for Brunch and OMG the food was so well prepared, presented, AND FLAVORED. Our server was on point with recommendations 👌 as well as checking in. The owner came by and introduced herself too as it was our first time there. I am so excited to have found this lovely local gem 💎 and can't wait to go back for lunch, happy hour, and dinner menus.

So good. The cauliflower is a MUST order. The sauce is insanely good. We ordered the salmon and the Barramundi. They were perfectly cooked and the sauce pairing was excellent. We finished with the pineapple brown butter cake and it was one of the best desserts we’ve had in a long time. The warm pineapple cake paired with the (lime?) Mascarpone was the perfect combination

We had a wonderful experience with Audrey our server, Erik the general manager, and other staff who assisted us. Audrey had an engaging presence and was able to offer direction about the menu. The food was simple and delicious! We dined with a dear friend and ordered several small bites and two large plates that we shared! We enjoyed everything with the carrot small plate and chicken meatballs as our stand out favorites!

Service - Excellent. We sat at a high top near the bar, and our server was the perfect amount of attentive and helpful without hovering. I wish I had grabbed his name because he's great at what he does. Ambience and decor - Excellent. This place is truly adorable inside. It's small and cozy, and especially in the dead of winter in Minnesota, the flowers and plants were just gorgeous to experience. Drinks - Good. There were so many photos and reviews of the pink one, so I started with that and found it to be very tart (I admit I asked for something not too sweet) and served perfectly chilled, but I didn't love it. Now my Rose By No Other drink, that one I loved. So depending on what you are looking for, the cocktail menu is varied and the drinks are very well-crafted - you can find one using your preferred liquor easily. You might want to try 2 :) Food - Good. The prosciutto toast with fig was probably our favorite, and I forgot to take a photo of that one, drat. I also really liked the roasted carrots because they were mildly spiced and absolutely roasted to perfection without being over- or underdone. I like that they grill the romaine for the Caesar, but I didn't prefer the way it was served in large quarters with dressing and just a few, very sparse toppings presented on top. The seafood entrees look great so I'll be back!

Pink Ivy was delicious! I went with my friend for brunch on a Sunday morning and it wasn't super busy. Decor was very 2012 and isn't my style but the ambience overall was lovely and appreciated the attentive service. Apple + cucumber salad: Absolutely divine. Light and bright, the apple cider vinaigrette was tangy without being overpowering. I'm going to try and replicate this at home- will be great way to hoover a whole Napa cabbage! The almonds had nice crunch and the blue cheese was salty and umptious. All in all, well balanced and I won't forget this salad. BLT: My friend was very satisfied. Bacon was thick and it was all flavorful. Biscuits and gravy: This was really, really good. The Wild rice gravy was so interesting and hearty. The biscuits were bursting with rosemary flavor. Eggs cooked well. So pleasantly surprised by the lightly pickled cauliflower & jalapeno on the side, brought nice acid and brightness to an otherwise heavy dish. I ate every bite!!!! Drinks: I got an old fashioned which was good, but I wished they had big ice cubes. Partner also enjoyed her drink. Can't remember what she got.

Food was Fantastic , service not to par for what to expect at an upscale restaurant , we had reservation for lunch and showed up on time, figured we would have great service, but it was JUST .. ok. I would like to return for dinner to see if we have a better experience and try them again for sure! I have heard great things about this place and would try them again. Atmosphere was perfect. I was just not that impressed with how slow the process of getting drinks , meals in . Nothing was suggested, it was our first time here. Like I said it was great food ! Service not so much. Of course that sets the tone for your experience to be honest. I'll try them again!!

Food: the table ordered a side of fries, crispy chicken sandwich, and Caesar salad with chicken. The salad was great. It had grilled romaine lettuce and the dressing was made in house. Only thing is I wish they'd cut the salad for you lol. Luckily our server saw me struggling with the butter knife and brought a steak knife. The side of fries (with garlic aioli) tasted like they were fried in fish oil. No allergies but not an ideal French fry after taste. And they don't have ranch, womp. Since their in-house Caesar was delicious they should try they hand at ranch! Ambiance and service were 10/10! Pink/green/gold aesthetic and the presentation of food was thoughtful. Including a Lemonade and coke, the bill was about $70 before tip.

This gem is in downtown Hopkins, pretty easy to find parking. I made reservations per usual since i heard it was a hot spot. Super friendly staff as soon as I walked in. Beautiful in the inside but it was so nice out I sat on the patio. Staff was knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. Ordered a few different food items on the menu and some drinks. Also they bent my arm for a little dessert. Everything was beautiful to look at and taste just as good. I was skeptical of some things but I gave it a shot and didn't regret it. Definitely a great experience and can't wait to go back and try more things!

Loved our experience at Pink Ivy! Recently named a top 50 new restaurant in the twin cities, opening in early 2024. I love that they take reservations and parking was easy to find on the street. Nestled in downtown Hopkins, it's not a busy neighborhood. Here's what we ordered and ranked from our favorite to least. Crispy Lamb belly (5/5) so good, crispy, and flavorful. Grilled mushrooms (5/5) definitely get these! Grilled kale (5/5) delicious Mussels (5/5) so yummy and served in a big bowl with toast Tuna tataki (4.5/5) still really good but we loved the other dishes more Lamb toast (4.5/5) tender shredded lamb on top of nice chewy bread Skirt steak (4/5) still delicious but steak is steak. The potatoes and chimichurri served with it was delicious. Raspberry donuts (3/5) basic fried dough with a subtle raspberry sauce. All the dishes had a lovely pairing of either hummus, a beet sauce, or cream sauce. Honestly everything was delicious with the exception of our dessert. Our server Lucia was so delightful. She gave great recommendations, was friendly, and attentive. The decor was really cute and cozy. Pink Ivy will be a definite repeat restaurant for us!

I had been wanting to try out this new restaurant forever and overall loved it! It is very trendy with a beautiful pink and green interior and some fancy food and drink options. I ordered the Once Upon a time cocktail which was tasty and refreshing. Our table ordered a variety of dishes to split and all of them had unique flavors and presentation. I will say, the portions are on the smaller side so even with ordering what we thought was a lot at a time, we weren't full at the end of our meal so we did end up ordering dessert as well, which was my favorite dish. It was a s'mores chocolate mousse served with graham crackers and it was soo smooth and delicious. One issue we did have with our experience is we were not made aware that reservations are a strict 90 minutes. We had made the reservation over the phone and were not warned about this, nor when we sat down or at any point during our meal. We were kicked out from our table at 90 minutes even though we had shortly before ordered more drinks so as a result, we either had to chug them quick or leave them full which is frustrating given how expensive they are. I wish we had been warned about the timing and given the option to not order another round.

Five stars for this Hopkins Gem! First time in Hopkins and this jewel is a treasure I hope to return to! The decor is in a word Darling! Emerald green & pink embellished with sparkle for the holidays just makes you happy to be there. Four of us had a lovely lunch with impeccable service and some fabulous food! My apologies for not asking your name dear server. You gave us space to visit, clear and accurate clarifications & recommendations when asked. We only tried a few things but 2 in our party were repeat guests and attested to the consistency of satisfaction across the menu! The squash salad with Salmon Delicious I could eat it everyday! The BLT was equally amazing with fried green tomatoes!! Cocktails are creative but do not fear the combo in the Pick of the Patch or The Pink One. CHEERS!

Stopped over for dinner with friends after happy hour at the Vine Room. Had been hearing so much hype for this place, so decided it was worth a stop. We were not disappointed. First, this feels like a very family-style setup for your meals. We were encouraged to get a few things and share. I would note, we did do this and everyting was very share-able. We got fries, chicken meatballs and some roasted carrots to start with. Our server suggested using the sauce from the meatballs to dip fries in and OMG. Excellent suggestion. We also decided to add on the lamb toast, which was a great recommendation, something I would have not chose had it not been suggested. Great service, fun atmosphere, and delicious food, what more could you want?

Had a lovely Friday afternoon lunch at Pink Ivy. It's been transformed into a beautiful space! Love the ambiance here- it feels regal! They have several unique menu items. I enjoyed the chicken bacon meatballs. They are a bit pricy for lunch. Plus the side of sourdough is an extra $4. This is a great place for a fancier lunch or elevated casual dinner.

We walked in this past Friday night and the reservations had been booked out. But! The bar seating (directly at the bar only) is first come first serve. I would say there's around 10-12 seats off the top of my head. We left and came back around 7:30 and snagged 2 seats at the bar. What we ordered: -grilled Caesar salad -mushrooms -fries -meatballs -the pink drink -old fashioned The pink drink was pretty good but think it could be a little better. But the glitter made it pretty! The grilled Caesar was surprisingly good and so were the meatballs. I highly recommend making a reservation before hand! Overall it's a cute vibe w and would return again.

Cannot say enough good things about my quick stop at pink Ivy kitchen and bar! I was seated right away by a manager, who was very thorough and knew exactly what he was doing and had a passion for this place, which was great to see! Then I was greeted by a server promptly who Was newer I could tell but loved her job and was doing her best to give me a great dining experience which is sometimes hard to find during the new season of restaurant dining. The service was quick and fast and when my burger arrived, It was prepared perfectly. Well I fancy myself as a burger snob of sorts, this definitely hits my top 10 if not could rival my top five! This burger was perfect and the bun to me is what makes a burger and I absolutely love the bun on this burger! Well, I don't have any shots of the inside as I didn't have a chance to take any pictures, the inside is absolutely top-notch and speaks very specific to the name - passion, pink, and everything placed and dress perfectly! This is a great find if you're in the Hopkins area and highly recommend you enjoying the food and grabbing a table on the inside so you can enjoy the wonderful interior! I'm here for the vibes as well in this place, certainly has it!

I've been here a few times now and can confidently say you can't go wrong with anything you order on the menu whether that's the food or drinks!!! The atmosphere is beautiful and the service is fantastic. The food and drinks are delicious! I recommend making reservations if you're coming during the dinner rush! Super cute spot!

Fantastic food and service. The grilled mushrooms were an amazing appetizer (and so good we failed to get a picture). My grilled salmon was stellar - loved the mix of flavors and textures. The broth the mussels were served in was so delicious too. Highly recommended, we'll be going g back to try more of the menu.

Stopped in to finally try to new Pink Ivy in Hopkins. This is a wonderful addition to the Main Street downtown Hopkins. Cute interior and loved all of the pink touches (like the water glasses)! We ordered the salmon with veggies and the melon and cucumber salad. Both were filled with fresh flavor and lots of color. We also tried the roasted corn special - their take on elote which was the winner of the night!! The service was good, despite a busy weekend service

What a cute restaurant! Some friends and I made a reservation to celebrate a birthday and were seated right away. The space is pretty, with lots of natural light and greenery. I started with the spritz as a drink and it was very refreshing, except I did realize as I drank it that it wasn't mixed so the top was all wine while the bottom was the liquor (not an issue except I also wasn't given a straw so I couldn't mix it on my own and didnt realize it wasn't mixed until I hit the bottom of the drink). For food, service was super speedy! We split a few plates of the horseradish fries to start and I have not stopped thinking about these fries since. They were that good! So perfectly crispy and the horseradish and aioli were addicting, I could have had these as a meal alone. For entrees, a friend and I split the salmon and the meatballs. The salmon was amazing! Super fresh and flavorful! The meatballs were very good, but there's no way I could have had a whole plate of them since they were pretty heavy and the dish had no veggies on it despite it being listed as an entree. It's on the pricier side, but the food was really good. I could totally see this becoming a neighborhood spot if the menu changes with the seasons (it is a smaller menu so if you go regularly it could become repetitive). Tip: there is a parking lot behind the restaurant that you can park in! It doesn't explicitly say 'for pink ivy' but the restaurant said that they are one of the businesses that the lot is for.

I had been wanting to try this place since hearing about it. I love how quiet and walkable Downtown Hopkins is, and it's nice to have a new, cute spot for lunch and dinner. Food & Drink: -Fries: The fries were absolutely excellent. It was a large portion and the perfect starting dish for our table. 5/5 -Mussels: I absolutely love mussels. The sauce was delicious and packed with flavor. One of my biggest complaints when I order mussels is that there is never enough bread for the amount of sauce. But there was definitely enough bread with this dish! I would order it again in a heartbeat. 5/5 -Socata (Mocktail): This was supposed to be like a lemonade. It tasted like water with a splash of something. I expected something with at least a hint of flavor, but I wasn't tasting it. Would not order again. 1/5 Ambiance & Service: The overall ambiance was cute. It was new, and fresh. I loved how bright and colorful the decor was. What really made this an unenjoyable experience was the service. Our waitress was probably having a bad day, but she could have at least been friendly. Within seconds of being seated, she expected us to know our entire order. When we didn't, she brushed us off and took a loooong while to come back. When the fries were brought to the table and we asked for ketchup, she just walked way before we could finish our sentence. We got the ketchup and enjoyed our food, but the service just made for a not-so-pleasant experience. Would come back again to experience the dinner menu.

What a nice little addition to Hopkins main street! We came here for a friend's birthday, and we were glad we got to try it. Very upscale and modern in a small space - it is quite noisy due to this. It reminds me a lot of the Dario atmosphere with all the pink and green. We called ahead to make a reservation for 6 and were easily accommodated. I was a bit confused why I couldn't make one online for over 4 people, but after seeing how small the space was I understood a bit more. Service was quick and kind. It was almost too quick where food kept coming to us that was meant for another table. My biggest downside here is the small menu size and no adjustments available. I really wanted the grilled Caesar salad as my meal, but they won't allow you to add a protein to it (even when there are plenty of meat options on the menu). The menu says "no substitutions" but I didn't realize this fell under that. My other downside is I did feel this was a bit overpriced - the portions are a good size for one person but the prices are pretty hefty. $24 for a plate of meatballs with no sides was a lot, plus $11 for a small plate of fries - luckily I shared with another member of the group so I could have a little more to my meal. Good news is the food is truly fabulous here. I still think about the horseradish on my fries and the delicious cream sauce my meatballs were in - plus they weren't dry! I'm not sure if I'd come back soon due to the small and pricey menu, but it is worth a try.

Met a friend for lunch at Pink Ivy today. Holy moly was that place good! Get in there! We were greeted at the door by two kind employees, they seated us immediately. Our server was so patient and helpful. She said her favorites were the salmon and the meatballs. So that's what we ordered. Both dishes were to die for. The shawarma sauce was delicious! The place is setup so cute. The pink and green vibes are amazing. We didn't have room for dessert but they also sounded amazing. Go visit! It's worth it! Note: our server did mention there's a lunch menu coming soon!

Pink Ivy is a delightful new addition to downtown Hopkins. There aren't many "upscale" restaurants on Mainstreet and Pink Ivy helps fill that void. The staff were incredibly kind and knowledgeable. The owner came by twice and asked us about our experience and our waitress had excellent recommendations. Drinks: Black Manhattan came pretty watered down and was a little sweet (although it was listed under 'After Meal Libations,' so maybe meant to be on the sweeter side?), Gibson was fine. However, the wine selection is unmatched. Chilled Beets: really interesting flavor combination with lime yogurt as a base, pops of pickled blueberries, tasty candied jalapeños and diced beets. I just wish the beets had been roasted, they tasted straight from a can, but the creativity was there. Wouldn't necessarily order again. Braised Lamb Toast - the only real disappointment of the night. The sourdough was a bit soggy, the lemon ricotta spread was paper thin, and the braised lamb was lacking in flavor. Ivy Burger - did not try, but my dad raved about it, some sort of special sauce? I did try a French fry which was hot, crispy, and well seasoned. Chicken Bacon Meatballs - a must order! A schwarma cream sauce rich with flavor pairs so well with the bacon infused meatballs while pickled onions work to cut through the decadent cream. Very rich, so would recommend sharing. Roasted Carrots - would have been content with these as my entree! The carrots were perfectly cooked, smothered in a sweet potato romesco and mixed with a generous amount of Castelvestrano olives and capers. I would have never thought to pair olives and carrots but with the sauce, it just worked. Overall, although the drinks were a bit lackluster, there are certainly some tasty and creative dishes. Definitely a new DT Hopkins spot to add to your list!

I have so many things to say. I'll start by saying Pink Ivy you were amazing. I've been bragging about this restaurant since I left. The restaurant itself is beautiful with a floral theme and bright colors. From the minute we sat down at our table the server Bobby was helpful. He had the reservation details and immediately asked who had the allergy and provided guidance on what menu items to stay away from. He then told us a few of the best sellers. My friend had the BLT. This isn't your regular BLT. It had a large fried green onion on top. The bacon was crispy and the garlic aioli was delicious. I had the Ivy Burger. The ground chuck and brisket patty paired with soy braised onions was juicy and packed with flavor. We both had a side of fries that we enjoyed. We shared the pineapple brown butter cake even though I would have been fine eating it on my own. Yep, it was that good. The Spice Must Flow is the perfect N/A drink. It tasted like a spicy Moscow mule. At the end of our meal, the owner came and introduced herself. She asked how our meal and service were. It's this type of customer interaction that will keep this place in business for many years to come

Worth the waitttt! We've been wanting to visit this place since it's opened (not too long) lol. There's side street parking which we found right away. Signs are clear on duration if applicable yet we parked next to the apartments which didn't have a time limit. One block to the restaurant. Ambiance 5/5 Quaint and beautiful hand painted murals throughout the restaurant with its teal, pink and green décor. Tables with Pink velour seats and teal booths which were soo comfortable and the aromas were as equally as good: food and fragrant bathrooms!! Service 5/5 The server noticed us sitting in the foyer and helped us right away which was refreshing and so helpful. We didn't have to wait for the other party before being seated. Susie was provided honest reviews and feedback based on customer responses ecspecially with the mushrooms, shareable dishes, and insistent on visiting the bathrooms!!! Did NOT disappoint, beautiful decor and cleanest restroom I've ever seen..men's and women's. She was also gracious in taking our picture and very personable. Food 5/5 Not a huge fan of skirt steak but my God. The consistency of the hummus and green sauce and was mouth watering. I usually play it safe with Salmon but went with the medium well Skirt Steak. It was seasoned to perfection. No seasoning needed for any of the plates which says a lot! Sauces were the chef's kiss and topped off the dishes. Charred Caesar, charred mushrooms oh myyyy, Sooo good! Drinks were photo worthy, didn't have to request a straw for our drinks and some ingredients surprisingly paired well together we wouldn't normally think would. Needless to say, by the the time deserts arrived, we were good and full yet. The ladies thoroughly enjoyed their desserts lol. Price 5/5 I'd plan to spend at least $60-75 per person if you like apps, entrée, drinks, and dessert. The apps are shareable which is nice. We wanted to try all the food! AND DID LOL. See the receipt for reference. Overall 10/10 recommend. We walked off all the food and will definitely return. It was such a great ambiance. Id like to have experience a happy hour at the bar or another girls night out! Kudos all around, pleasant surprise!!!

I've been meaning to try this place but it hasn't worked out until now because they are not open every day of the week (I am off on Mondays and they happen to be closed Mondays). Finally, I came here, and at first glance I really like the decor. The beautiful green color throughout and the decorative murals really made this restaurant feel cozy. A friend recommended the mussels and I was looking forward to trying them, sadly after we ordered our waitress came back to tell us they were all out. Instead we got the mushroom small dish and the chicken-bacon meatballs. Both were definitely big enough for sharing and the flavor was great. I will say, the menu is rather small, which is usually a good thing because the kitchen isn't overwhelmed but it took us a while to settle on a couple of things to try. Also, my friend and I both got the Socata mocktail and at $8 each I was expecting more. Def tasted like some store bought lemonade over ice. I'm sure I will be back to hopefully try the mussels!

We stopped in for lunch Sunday afternoon a little early for our reservation but we were still seated. Our waitress gave us menu recommendations since it is our first time and even offered to take our pictures. I'm so glad Pink Ivy replaced that subpar Cam Ranh Bay that was here previously. I love the atmosphere here with all the cozy seats and beautiful hand painted decor. I didn't enjoy the mussels too much but I did enjoy the fries with the garlic aioli & the elderberry lemonade. We did have to utilize street parking.

I went in for lunch. I understand being open for lunch is new for them. It was empty and they were ready for me and helpful. I sat at the bar and had a chicken sandwich with a salad. No iced tea--boo! The food was good and the people nice. The lunch menu is limited, but that's pretty common now. I look forward to trying them again.

So happy that this surburb has some quality food Was very happy with my recent experience here on a busy Saturday evening,full house,staff were busy but good with explaining the menu and drinks-service was pro a little slower as sat night Standout dishes full of flavor and on point presentation were the Chicken bacon meatballs . The shawarma sauce was the bomb !The skirt steak, was yummy and the mussels and tuna takati were delicious. W had a great server who was also a SOMM so paired an excellent Rosè wine with our meal Petty space but small but perfect for Hopkins! Looking forward to coming back;)

Pink Ivy is the gem Hopkins needed! The decor is stunning, the menu is well thought out, and the staff is amazing. We came as a table of 4ans tried the lamb toast, grilled Caesar, chicken liver mousse, and mussels. For mains we had the steak and the chicken bacon meatballs with a shareable side of fries. All of the food was flavorful and interesting. The cocktail list was full of many unique options and the wine list was thoughtfully curated. The owners stopped by the table and had a great chat. Our server was very helpful and provided great recommendations. I can't wait to come back and will save room for dessert next time!

Amazing, we ordered way too much food as we wanted to try everything. Mussels in lobster sauce was delicious. The fries come with grated horseradish and parsley. The meatballs with chicken and bacon are in a fantastic sauce that you will want to eat every last bite. Order the roasted carrots with olives as a side. The standout was the halibut which was the best fish dish I have had anywhere. And they have a great cocktail and wine program.

Stopped into Pink Ivy for an afternoon cocktail with a friend! There is some street parking up front, but nearby side streets might be the best option! The space itself is awesome, especially considering the shape of the space before they took it over. Floral art, fun pink and green furniture, elevated finishes really set the mood! Service was super friendly, as we sat at the bar and interacted with many bartenders as they prepped for a busy evening. The drink, however, was not good. I ordered the Old Fashioned from their cocktail menu. It was watered down, smelled of the promised "spiced" bitters, but lacked any flavor whatsoever, and that's saying a lot for a traditionally spirit-forward drink. By the end of the tax and tip, the drink came out to $22, which is hard to swallow for downtown Hopkins AND a bad cocktail. I know it wasn't only me, because the lady next to us at the bar actually sent the same drink back. I'll chalk their bad Old Fashioned up to a few bad decisions and look forward to coming back and trying some other cocktails and their food!

Y'all, get yourself to Pink Ivy asap. Just tried it this last weekend as it opened earlier this month and it absolutely deserves to be on your list of must tries. I read about them opening and, after looking at menu, quickly tried to get the soonest weekend reservation I could. We visited on Friday evening at around 730 and the place was completely full. A few unlucky diners were coming in looking for seats, but had to be turned away since they didn't have reservations. The item I was headed there for was the lamb chops and they did not disappoint. They were possibly the best lamb dish I've had in the Twin Cities in quite a while. It was cooked perfectly and paired amazingly with the couscous. My dining partner got the burger and said it was delicious, but definitely regretted not getting the meatballs as we saw those pass by. Just a reason to revisit soon. We also tried the chilled beets and yogurt. The biggest surprise of the night was the candied jalapeños in this dish! Drinks were the Gibson and the black manhattan which were both extremely well made and balanced. Probably the smoothest manhattan I've ever tried and I'm usually not a fan! The space is semi small but with gorgeous pink, jade and gold decor with floral murals and plants throughout. We were seated at a high top in the bar which felt a little confining as people were moving alongside of us but the dining area seems to have plenty of space. The bar had roughly 12 seats and they were constantly full. Definitely make a reservation if you're headed on a weekend and potentially request non high tops. Overall this was a great experience and a spot I will definitely recommend and hope to visit again soon. It has potential to put Hopkins on the map for those that haven't already discovered the Main Street area.

My partner and I had a 730 reservation, but arrived a little early. As we waited a few minutes, there were numerous walk-ins turned away and the bar seating was full. We were seated at a high top in the bar area which was fine, but the plants that separate the bar and the restaurant encroach on the table. At first it seemed strange, but they didn't really impact our dinner...just the lighting for our photos :). I had a Black Manhattan to drink that was super good. It was listed on the after dinner drinks, but wasn't overly sweet. We started with beets as an appetizer. They were beets (my partner loves beets so I went with it) but the candied jalapeños were amazing. I could have eaten a bowl of those. For dinner, I had the cheeseburger no bun. It came fries which were super hot and fresh. The burger was juicy but overall, a pretty basic cheeseburger. Next time, I would get something else like the meatballs which looked delicious. Our waitress did a great job as well...so good I almost forgot to mention her. She was there exactly when we needed something, but wasn't intrusive.

Trendy cute new spot in Hopkins! We made a reservation in advance which I'd recommend. The place isn't large and it was full the entire time we were there. The menu surprised me as it was honestly quite small with higher prices than I expected. We ordered a variety of things to try. My personal favorites were the French fries, the sweet potatoes side, the burger and the salmon (although way too much pepper on it!). Nothing we had was standout, liked the steak and squash side the least, however, the plate presentation was nice and every dish had a good mix of different flavors. The sauce on the salmon was excellent and the burger was soft and flavorful! The service was interesting. We were greeted right away but our server was just a bit awkward? Best way to describe it. Our drinks took awhile but none of the food took that long. Overall good experience and nice new place to try. Hope they try different things and broaden the menu but we will see!

This place is truly a hidden gem it's modern fancy ambiance is what caught my attention. The food here is hands down amazing I ordered the chicken bacon meatballs which included Shawarma Cream Sauce, Parsley, Curly Endive, Pickled Red Onion a recommendation from my awesome server. For a drink I got the espresso martini which is always good. I couldn't just have one drink so I ordered a lavender spritz because why not it was delicious it included Pisco, Limoncello, Butterfly Pea, Lavender, Lemon, Brut. Would definitely dine here again the service is amazing run don't walk to this place. Definitely make reservations would not recommend a walk in

I love spending time in downtown Hopkins! It's such a friendly upbeat area. Pink Ivy was a perfect date night with my friend. We enjoyed their beautiful cocktails and shared a variety of appetizers and entrées. We sat inside and enjoyed the colorful aesthetic. Their outdoor patio is a great option in the summer. Parking was fairly easy - sidestreet spots were available. I would definitely recommend Pink Ivy for your next date night!

This was my first time at Pink Ivy. I came with a good friend for lunch on a Friday afternoon. The decor was very pretty. I can tell they put a lot of effort in the aesthetics. From the pink tumblers to the gold wares. The food was tasty but a bit on upper side for price (lunch meal easily at $30). Our server was attentive, though not super friendly. I may try it again one more time just to be convinced whether I'd be a repeat customer or not. Overall, pretty good.

We had a late lunch (1ish) and the place was well attended. We chose the mussels and they were fantastic. Really liked the atmosphere and the decor was very nice. Our server Hannah was professional and friendly. We will be back.

Came in to close out date night. Great atmosphere. Bartender was very cool. The drinks were really good. Priced right!!!

A Lesson in How Not to Run a Restaurant--Or Any Business Let me preface this by saying that I get it: the restaurant business is tough. Margins are thin, labor is hard to find, and the competition is fierce. But that doesn't excuse abject failures in both food quality and customer service, especially when it's this bad. Let's start with the food--or rather, the lack thereof. I ordered fish tacos during happy hour, and to my surprise, I got tortillas with a vague suggestion of fish and a lot of pineapple slaw. Think of it like someone wafted a fish near the taco but decided to stop there. It was embarrassing, but hey, mistakes happen. So, naturally, I asked for the item to be remade or returned. And that's when things went south. Fast. The manager's response? "What do you expect for a happy hour item?" Oh, I don't know, maybe something edible? Or even just a minimal amount of respect for your customers? When I suggested remaking it, the manager doubled down with, "If we remake it, we'll charge you again. If you return it, we'll still charge you." So essentially, I was paying for food and attitude. As if that wasn't enough, after this back-and-forth, the follow-up service was non-existent. It was like I had been blacklisted for the audacity of wanting an actual piece of fish in my fish taco. Look, restaurants can't afford to treat customers like they're inconveniences. But apparently, Pink Ivy missed that memo. If you're going to run a business, run it with some decency. And if you're going to offer a Happy Hour option and charge people for it, maybe--just maybe--give them something worth paying for. Final takeaway? Hard pass.

My boyfriend and I came on a Saturday night. We didn't need a reservation and were sat right away at 8. We had an amazing dinner. The food was insanely good. Our favorite item was the flat iron steak. It was extremely tender and came with a vibrant zhoug sauce. Highly recommend--must get!! Must also get the mushrooms if you are getting the steak. The mushrooms had an amazing umami taste and were perfect with the steak. We also really enjoyed the mussels. The toast was perfectly crispy and soaked up the sauce well! We will also be coming back for those. For me the drinks were nothing special. I enjoyed them but the food was really the star of the show. We will be coming back immediately!

The ambiance was beautiful and parking was easy. Food: 1) Tuna Tataki - loved the flavor of the tuna and loved the hummas it was on, but the flavors didn't blend too well togehter 2) Ivy Burger - it was a little simple and plain - I was hoping for more 3) Chicken-Bacon Meatballs - the highlight of the meal - wonderful flavor! 4) Zeppole - Nice flavor but was overcooked

Fun new concept right in Main Street in downtown Hopkins. Great service. Limited but inspired menu. I really enjoyed everything and we tried but shoutout to the tuna tataki, muscles, and chicken meatballs!

Really enjoyed this new restaurant on Main Street in Hopkins. It was packed on a Friday evening with seating inside and out. Our server was excellent and had great recommendations. We ordered the salmon which was a little on the dry side, a roasted corn on the cob, which was flavorful and delicious, grilled Caesar salad (fantastic) and fries (also good). The specialty cocktails were fun and tasty. I would return.

Great atmosphere. Felt like I was in the North Loop, not downtown Hopkins. Sat down around 7:30 and left around 9:00 on a Saturday. Dinning room and bar full almost the entire time. Food was outstanding. The mussels came in a crushed roasted tomato sauce. Unique and could not get enough. The mushrooms had so much flavor. The salmon was done perfectly. I liked the puree and roasted vegetables. I am not even the slightest fan of sweet potatoes, but, I would eat them all the time if they were prepared like they were with the salmon. I had an Old Fashioned. Delicious. Only downside is the price. It's a spendy place, but you get what you pay for. I would come back here again and again.

came with a group of 5 for my daughters 23rd bday. food was good however or waitress was not friendly, never even wished a happy birthday. I brought a cake and was charged a cutting fee of $15. I cut and served the cake myself. very disappointed and will not be back. Food is good but it the wait staff does matter too!

Pink Ivy just opened and it is already super popular! We did make reservations and it was full at about 1-3, but when we finished everyone else was pretty much gone, so it shouldn't be too hard to get a table. The waiter was consistently checking on us and giving recommendations, answering questions, refilling for us, even when the place was full. I had the Socata lemonade which was super refreshing! I also had the Ivy burger which was good but did not have many veggies, and was a bit too salty for my liking, however the bread, meat, and cheese combination melts in your mouth from how well they cook it. The place itself is beautiful, the chairs were comfortable, the colors make for a calm but cute lunch vibe, and the tableware was beautiful! There is plenty of street parking all around the building too.

We love Pink Ivy. We'd go more often if they offered a couple of new dishes to try out as specials. Grilled romaine is a standout. Great service. Great cocktails.

I had a birthday dinner with girlfriends at Pink Ivy. We had great cocktails, starters and entrees. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the service was very good and the volume level still ok to carry a conversation. I will definitely return. It is located next to the Vine room, so you can stop there before dinner if you are out for the night!

Great restaurant!!! Friendly attentive service in a tastefully decorated upscale ($$$) restaurant. We were able to get a table without a reservation on a Friday night so we were happy; we arrived around 5:30 and the restaurant quickly filled up; the waitress made awesome recommendations. I had the halibut paired with the Albarino wine; the halibut was among the best I've ever tasted. My husband had the chicken bacon meatballs, which had a very nice flavor. We'd definitely go back if we were in the area.
