"If I were ever in a desert-island situation, subsisting on canned mackerel and Tang, the dish I’d dream most about eating is the crunchy, browned rectangle of rice topped with spicy tuna, serrano pepper slices, and daikon atPinKU Japanese Street Food. Each item from the mix-and-match menu at chef John Sugimura’s fast-casual eatery is served on a cafeteria tray, and though I’d happily fill it with nothing but tuna, I always make room for the gyoza and a special like onigiri or crackly karaage fried chicken." - ByAshlea Halpern

Thank you so much for the amazing Roblox-themed mochi donuts! From the moment we picked them up it was clear how much love and thought went into making these donuts! 🎉 🍩My daughter was BEYOND excited and every guest at the party was blown away. Flavors were simply unbelievable and the presentation and colors were STUNNING! You truly made our daughter’s BIRTHDAY PARTY extra special. ❤️ We can’t wait to order from you again! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for something unique and delightful!

The kids enjoyed the food and all the cute details the place offers. Very welcoming and conveniently located. Also, the donuts are perfect for a birthday party if you want to add something or replace a traditional cake.

This place has cute aesthetics! This was my first time trying a Korean corn dog. Honestly, I wasn’t too impressed. The potatoes were very very crispy. So crispy they were hard. Also. It wasn’t salted enough. I got the half beef half cheese. I didn’t like the beef. Next time I think I’ll go with just cheese!!

Such a cute little place. Small, but clean and adorable dining area. Such wonderful staff. Patient with explaining menu items and just so friendly. Make you feel genuinely welcome and appreciated. The mochi donuts weren't something I'll get again. Heavy and very very sweet. If you enjoy super sugary treats this spot is prefect for you. Definitely give them a try as everyone's tastes vary and my opinion is just that, mine. They're always busy so obviously lots of folks love what they're making. I'll definitely be back to try the Korean Corndog and some of the other savory menu items.

I was expecting more of an experience. When I saw the commercial online, I thought this would be a great place to bring my 11-year-old daughter as she likes these type of places given that the building is pink and comes off as a unique specialty fun food/dessert with unique coffee. I was expecting to have one of their unique donuts and coffee. I did buy a doughnut. It was a good, but my concern comes from the lack of engagement from the employee. The temperature in the building was way too hot, which could cause health issues definitely too hot for Food safety. The store had a musky field to it. Furniture was a little dirty and dingy needs to be kept up better. The employees need to be a little more exciting as this is a novelty. Type of store is not cheap. The coffee was nothing special with the cheap equipment they make it with. I mean, it was nothing unique for me to come back.. very limited products!

This is the cutest little cafe that I have been to in a long time. It is located right on a main road, but I was able to find a parking spot right out front. From the pink exterior to the neon glowing signs illuminating from within I was very excited to have finally paid a visit. Upon entering there were puffy clouds and flowers everywhere and it just brought me a instant cheery vibe. I use the term little but in reality it is quite large for a cafe. With board games and arcade games and more to keep you entertained for however long you choose to stay. There was a main area where there were fancy little table and chair sets and 2 additional smaller areas that were off the main area for smaller groups to have a more private seating arrangement. The neon signs, flower walls and puffy clouds were my favorite. Ok well now let's get to the food which is why you go to a cafe in the first place. Walking up to the counters I was greeted immediately by a pleasant young woman who was eagerly awaiting to take my order. There were many donuts to choose from which all looked amazing . They also had ice cream, coffees, cocoas etc. Everything looked amazing and i was quick to be cashed out and on my way. I have to say please check this place out. They deserve so much love here for all they have put into this adorable cafe. I guarantee you will love it as much as me. Enjoy and have a great day!

Went to Pinku for my second ever visit with kids on Saturday about 9:30am. Place is cute and we were the only customers. I was greeted by the worker and we ordered a half dozen donuts. We did have an issue in payment. I was asked prior if I was paying cash or card and I said cash. Then when rang up, it gave two separate bill amounts for cash or non-cash. I was told to pay the non-cash amount, and I questioned my screen, which wasn’t the same as her screen, which only showed the higher non-cash payment (she showed me). The worker told me she didn’t understand why there were two amounts, but for me to pay the higher amount. So I switched to my card payment and paid the higher amount and then was prompted for gratuity which I quickly declined. I ended up paying just over 17% tax/fees on the stated cost per half dozen. Whatever tech glitch happened here needs to be rectified for future payments for any customer. My kids and I had the donuts at home and they were flavorful, but underwhelming and average at best. I could tell they weren’t super fresh as we had tried their donuts prior as well as many other donuts from other establishments for comparison. I’d be hesitant on returning for the cost verse product quality.

This niche donut shop was amazing, the decor was excellent, perfect for those iconic Instagram pictures. The shop was clean and well organized. Quality of donuts are 10/10 and flavors all had unique characteristic. I would recommend getting a box of 12 for $36 and calling ahead as they sell out fast. Free street parking is available and also the owners own the bubble tea spot next door. Recommend to try their Taro Bubble Tea w/Tapioca balls If you found my review helpful please give it a thumbs up.
