Pinky is a true artist — I get my eyebrows laminated, threaded, and tinted by her every six weeks for almost two years now! I always leave loving my brows and come back every six weeks without fail. The one time they didn’t last very well she had me come back in and refresh them without charge! It’s always a joy to see her.

Quite overpriced — I paid ~$80 incl tip for eyebrows, sideburns, and upper lip threading. Eyebrows alone were $37. I’ve also never experienced such slow service — I’ve been getting my face threaded for the last ~7 years and they took triple the amount of time. They also didn’t do a very comprehensive job of threading the hair — citing ingrown hairs; but I’ve never had any problems in the past. I wouldn’t recommend :(

I’ve never had such an unsatisfactory experience than the one I had at Pinky’s Salon. I happened to be in the neighborhood and needed to get my eyebrows done so I wandered in. Please note that there were no signs on the walls about services and prices, but I did not think twice as I have been getting my eyebrows threaded in NYC for 14 years and pretty much understand the price range of the service. I sat down in the chair and they started working on my brows. While working, she asked me three times if I wanted to get an eyebrow tint, which I refused each time, as I have thick and dark brows naturally and so I have no interest. When my threader finished my right eyebrow, she asked me if I liked the shape and I said yes. She then proceeded to do the left brow which took quite a bit longer. When she finished and I asked for the mirror, I noticed that not only was my left brow thinner than my right, but also that she cut me with the thread in several places. My threader offered to fix the thinner brow by thinning out the other one, but I said absolutely not. Both the shape difference and the cuts were annoying to me, but I just thought I would get out of there and never go back. When it was time to pay, I ask the price and to my absolute shock she told me $37. I have NEVER in my years of getting my eyebrows done in NYC paid more than even $20 in Manhattan or otherwise. $20 is honestly a huge stretch as the place I typically go to is $8. Upon my anger and shock about this price, the ladies working offered to get their manager who was downstairs. Her response to the situation angered me so much that I was brought to tears. I told her about the service not being up to par and also about the fact that the prices were not even displayed in the establishment. She said yes they are, and pointed to the computer screen which had a Gmail mailbox pulled up. She said I need to use this as a lesson to ask for a price before getting a service done and that I “already came in here having a bad day” after I disclosed that it was a difficult day for me before this experience. After much back and forth she basically said she wouldn’t be able to give any sort of refund, and that she’s not the manager, but just the “manager of the services” and that if I wanted any kind of refund I would need to talk to the real manager of the establishment by leaving my phone number. Eventually because my threader felt bad she offered to give me a half refund out of her pocket, which I found to be kind, but unacceptable as no where should be charging such an exorbitant amount for such a simple service that you can get for significantly cheaper in the city. This experience really frustrated me and is just a warning to anyone who is considering getting their brows done here - do not.

$37 for eyebrow threading is robbery, especially when there isn’t attention or care given to the clients wants. With my eyebrows, I do chin waxing and sometimes they need to thread the ingrown hairs after if the wax didn’t pick them up. My chin was burning and bleeding for 2 days after due to the lack of care during the process, and they didn’t even get all the hairs out despite that. Horrible services for 3x the price any other salon charges. They are also pushy during the services which is my least favorite thing. My eyebrows were shaped wrong too, and they never even asked what I wanted or if I liked them after.

I always feel amazing when I walk out of Pinkies, I won’t let anyone else touch my brows. She is caring and efficient and always so so kind. I’m so glad I found her! Highly recommend getting a brow tint

Pinky's the best - My initial appointment, I was so nervous letting someone touch my eyebrows, but I've been back several times since the first and I would trust her with my life! She is also so accommodating with scheduling and always gives her honest opinion.

Be warned! They are seriously scamming people. I was charged $55 for eyebrows because of a “new customer” fee. Absolutely ridiculous. I have never gone anywhere where eyebrow threading is more than $30 and that’s still on the expensive side! When I get my eyebrows done they’re usually $10-15! I would never go to this money mongering place again.

They are the only people I trust with my eyebrows! They always do an incredible job, the place is always very clean, and they are extremely nice!

The only place I trust to do a lash lift and tint in the city! A little background: I moved out of the city and tried a place close to where I moved. I have really short eyelashes and ended up with a chemical burn on my eyelids. My eyes were puffy and all of my eyelashes ended up curling downwards and were wiggly looking. Before I moved I had only gone to Pinkys. I never thought twice about having an issue with an eyelash lift because they're so consistent at Pinkys. After waiting 6 weeks for my reaction to settle I traveled two hours to come back to Pinkys. I went to Tashi, she was gentle and extremely knowledgeable on how to help. Also gives an amazing head massage. She is really talented, my eyelashes have never looked better!

I initially came in on a whim 6 or so months ago in need of a last minute Brazilian, but Pinky won me over! I had moved to the area and was looking for a regular spot and ended up staying with here. She is so sweet, thorough and attentive and makes sure that everything goes smoothly. She also makes great conversation each time. She always has great little life tips and tricks as well. My hair is way less down there as well after just a few sessions. Thank you!

I've been getting my eyebrows done at Pinky for 7+ years and I won't go anywhere else. They do a GREAT job on my thread and tint and I get compliments on my eyebrows every time. The quality is great and lasts for several weeks. I've started to get my eyelashes tinted as well so that I don't need to resort to mascara everyday, and they look so good and last so long! Every person who works there is skilled at what they do -- I have not had a bad experience in all my years of going. In addition, the salon is incredibly calming -- there is soft music playing and everybody there goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Highly recommend to anybody looking for eyebrow and eyelash services in Manhattan!

I've been going to Pinky's for probably 7 or 8 years now and they are truly the best. Rashmi works magic and I leave feeling completely transformed in the best way. I wouldn't trust anyone else to do my eyebrows. The salon is clean and peaceful, and I could not recommend Pinky's more highly.

Absolutely love coming to Pinky's. Shove does an amazing job every single time. I normally get my brows threaded, but also eyelash tint and lift today and my lashes look unreal!! During services, she also gives scalp, shoulder, and arm massage which is personally my favorite part. Its so relaxing and I know I'm always in good hands.

i keep getting compliments on my brows everywhere I go since getting my brows and lashes laminated and tinted. my experience at pinky's was wonderful and they went above and beyond to ensure my brows and lashes were perfect and that i was relaxed and comfortable. a special treat is the hand and head massage that comes with the experience while you wait for the lamination and tinting process to complete. this place is a 10/10 - highly recommend and the price is very reasonable! these pics are after showering - I am wearing no makeup, no mascara, nothing!

They do a great job but the sticker shock on the services is real. I walked in for a threading and tint and ended up spending over $80 after tax and tip - literally anywhere else in the city it's a fraction of that price. The women who work there were friendly but they are big on trying to upsell other services.

I'm super picky with how people do my eyebrows and really pay attention to how much effort/care they put into them. I tried a couple of places in NYC before finding this gem. I've been going for 3 years and the service is consistently superb. Pinky's place is spacious, clean and everyone is super sweet and welcoming. I get my eyebrows and upper lip threaded - Rashmi is my girl, she leaves me looking fabulous every time! She's gentle, super sweet and very detail oriented. As the cherry on top, she gives the best mini eyebrow/forehead massage when you say yes to lotion after getting your brows done. Pro-tip: get the eyebrows three session package and save some cash! Love this place - thank you for your amazing service!

I scheduled an appointment with Rashmi. I walked in the staff were all kind and accommodating. They play soft classical Indian (Nepalese?) music in the background, creating a cool ethnic vibe. I asked to get my brows cleaned up, without having them shaped dramatically, and she adhered to that ask well. She was also friendly and fun to talk to. Overall, a very positive experience, and I'll revisit for sure.

I've been going to Pinky's for 8 years. Truly my longest standing NY relationship and for a good reason. 10/10 for quality and craft. I'd never dream of letting anyone else touch my brows. 100/10 for service though! Pinky's team is best of the best and all are kind and caring. I moved to BK and trek 40 mins twice a month bc I am loyal and enjoy the experience.

I have been literally everywhere in the city for the last two years trying to find the best place for brows. While my experiences weren't horrible, I didn't leave 100% satisfied. Today I decided to try Pinky's Village Spa! I made an appt with Rashmi based on her glowing reviews. Upon arrival, she used hand sanitizer which I loved! She did a quick consultation since it was my first time. She was very intentional from start to finish. I decided on threading and tinting. Before she tinted she ensured that I liked the shape of my brows. She was very mindful not to leave the tint on too long. I loved the way they came out! I actually purchased a package at check out! The salon was CLEAN and SPACIOUS! I definitely found my new brow spot!

They did a nice job but be warned this place is pricey!! 50 for a threading! They also tried to do tons of upsells when I made it clear I was in a rush.

I wanted to write another updated review. I'm a regular at Pinky's and can tell you her brow skills are the absolute best. She leaves me feeling great every time and my brows always look perfect after she works her magic. You can tell she really loves her customers and is very caring. She goes the extra mile for you. I've also been to Rashmi and she's amazing as well! Highly recommend

Not a place for a facial but other services seem reliable. Came in for a facial and was asked to sit in a threading chair. Strike 1. One person servicing the whole place. Strike 2. No aesthetics equipment not even a room. Strike 3. I couldn't stay for the service in good conscience. I had no indication it would be a clean, comfortable, or professional experience.

Can't recommend Pinky's enough! I started coming to her a couple months ago and asked her to help re-shape my eyebrows through threading. Since coming to her my eyebrows look noticeably better, they are growing in more full and evenly to the shape I desire. I trust their services more than anywhere else I've gotten eyebrow services in the city before. Her team is the best and I think their services are beyond worth it! 10/10 so great and I'll keep coming back!

My review is long overdue because i've been getting my eyebrows done by Pinky for over a year now and she works magic on them! I consistently get my eyebrows tinted + laminated and each time Pinky makes them look perfect - I consistently receive compliments on my brows. I recently started getting lash lifts as well and that too comes out perfect thanks to Pinky's amazing skills! It's so nice not having to worry about mascara on a daily basis. Highly recommend Pinky's especially if you want someone to care for your service, do what's best for your face/brows/lashes, and if you want it done properly! I'll refuse to go anywhere else!

The best for brows and more! Rashmi has been doing my threading for years now and *consistently* does the perfect job. Everyone there is super kind and does a great job. Even though I live far away, it's so worth it to come to PinkysVillageSpa for their excellent services and 10/10 experience with great music. This is the BEST place I've ever been for brows threading & have tried a handful of other services as well over the years - everything has been great (recently tried massage and it was so so so relaxing) Rashmi puts so much care and attention to detail into every service, she is also so sweet ! I always leave feeling pampered, fresh & happy.

Pinky's is easily one of the best places I have been to for eyebrow threading and tint. I go to Pinky and the service is consistent and she is wonderful to talk to. When I first came to Pinky my eyebrows were a bit thin and uneven and in only a couple months they are fuller and have evened out. I also got my eyebrows tinted for the first time and was nervous that they would come out too dark (because I can be picky) but Pinky did them perfectly. The services are definitely much more expensive than other places I have been so I can't go as often as I would like but when I do go I feel it is worth it for the consistent results and eyebrows that I constantly get complimented on.

Rashmi always hooks my brows up! Before her, I used to go to the $8 spots that always took too much off! Rashmi knows exactly how much to take off and where to leave to grow. Today was my 4th visit and my brows are now full and exactly how I always wanted it to look!

I've been seeing Pinky and the ladies who work at this establishment for 5 whole years. There is just nowhere else to me that delivers such amazing results, on top of such good hospitality and kindness. I feel like a brand new woman whenever I step out of Pinky's, with my freshly threaded and tinted brows! Right now with COVID-19, times are especially tough but if you feel like you can afford to treat yourself to some beautiful brow treatment (or something else- they have so many services!), please consider going to Pinky's and supporting this business!!! You won't just leave being a new customer, but you'll leave being a new friend to Pinky and everyone who works there, I can promise you that. I love these ladies, thank you for being the best!

I've been going to Pinky's for as long as I can remember for my eyebrows. Pinky and her crew always remember me and are so friendly. But most importantly, they do an amazing job with eyebrows. They never disappoint!

she's nice. place is nice but unhappy with service..went for a henna design and after arriving home noticed the ink running in many areas. what I'm really pissed about was i was told (or at least if my memory serves me right) the tattoo would last 3-4 weeks and it hasn't been a week and it's already half faded. not even 1 week! I was also told one price and then was charged another- a lot more money. very turned off by the whole experience. and real sorry to say bc I had a lot of confidence and excitement going in.

This was the worst eyelash experience in my life, and I walked out with red eyes from eyelash removing alcohol and marks/bruises from tape under my eyes. it's been two hours and it's still there - I covered it up with concealer but you can see weird pattern from the tape anyway. Im considering cancelling my evening plans because of how it looks, which were the reason I went to get lashes in the first place! If you don't read any further, just note that this ordeal took 2 hours (!) and 20 minutes, and the cost was absolutely ludicrous - with tip it was nearly $200 (I really didn't want to tip after experiencing this nightmare but I felt bad...). Total rip off for a horrible experience. Now, details... At the very start, they poured so much eyelash removing alcohol that it started to sip into my eyes even though I was keeping them tightly shut. I mentioned that, and they put a napkin on my eyes with water and told me to wipe my eyes and open them. I asked several times to make sure that I need to open my eyes because it didn't sound right and they said yes. When I opened them it started to sting very badly. After another few minutes of back and forth, we managed to wipe out the alcohol out of my eyes but I have to say it was very stressful and scary, and was not handled well. I'm saying "they" because half of the time there were two women standing over me, with one giving the other advise, which was also confusing and unclear when they were talking to me. After that, they put a lot of tape on my face to hold down the bottom lashes, which is standard. But it was not taped well under one eye and I was feeling a burn, so they had to retype it. Later on, at the end of the two hours, the woman struggled to take the tape off my face, stretching my under-eye skin (which you never want to do!) and then revealing horrible bruising from their tape that didn't feel suitable for anything to do with facial skin. During the procedure, the woman glued several of my top lashes to the bottom lashes (despite all of the "industrial-grade" tape that was on my face that was supposed to prevent it), and when she was trying to separate it, at one point her hand slipped and painfully pulled on my eye lid - it was very sudden and it scared me, which is not what you want when you trust someone to poke around your eyes with chemicals and sharp objects... Lastly, I really didn't like how my face was constantly touched by the woman's bare fingers which were perspiring...my face felt dirty at the end of the session and I wanted to ask for a facial wipe but I was so shocked with the bruising that I just wanted to get out of there and go home ASAP. Not only my face was CONSTANTLY touched, she also several times brushed with her hands past my lips and nose carelessly as if they were on the way - overall, it felt clumsy and careless, and somewhat disrespectful. Not to mention in this post-pandemic world I really don't want a stranger to touch my mouth with their bare sweaty hands! I always do my eyelashes at a different place, and they have NEVER touched my face with their fingers, not to mention sweaty fingers. The lashes themselves ended up looking okay but they are way too long - they didn't show me any samples before, and there was very little discussion of the end result that I wanted - this is more on me but a professional place should always make sure that the client and the aesthetician are on the same page. They brought up the length of lashes that I wanted once I was laying with the removing alcohol on my eyes and i would have preferred to see some examples and be able to explain what I'm going for beforehand. I'll also throw in here that the chairs and their set up is very uncomfortable compared to other places I've been to...my neck was aching after sitting in an awkward chair for over 2 hours. For this cost, I would have expected a nicer and cleaner place overall. There was a huge fly buzzing around which would sometimes land on me and it was very irritating because I was trying not to move during the service. Gross! Overall, I'm shocked with how badly it went after reading all of the glorious reviews this place has. I think this place should NEVER offer the lashes service.

Everyone here is amazing at what they do! Rashmi is my favorite, she has made my brows look better than they've ever looked before! The space is clean, professional and welcoming but ultimately service is amazing. You can trust this place!!

So I have not touched my eyebrows, besides tweezing to clean it up, for a few years now. I use to have a place I would go to consistently but since I moved I have not found a place I liked. I have extremely sensitive skin and turn red easily. Rashimi was so nice and made sure my skin was well taken care of. She even tested the henna on my hand to make sure I would have no reaction. I'm very happy with how they turned out. I finally found my new eyebrow spot!

I've been going to Pinky's for a year and I won't get my eyebrows done anywhere else. I've struggled to find a salon that maintains my eyebrow shape while not making them too thin. Pinky puts in so much time, effort and care and my eyebrows have never looked better! I've referred 6 of my friends because of how much I love Pinky - she is truly the best!!

Update: I decided to come back due to the fact that I don't think I've ever loved my eyebrows as much as I did when I first did them with Pinky. I was completely obsessed with them and they seemed to grow out much later than they normally. By the 3rd week they still looked fresh. The compliments I received everyday was insane. I have my best friend from Philadelphia dying to meet pinky because of her work. I decided to buy package deal because it's a better deal and I know I'll be back after my service today. My service was even better than the last time. She is so sweet and while applying the lotion she took the time to massage eyebrows which felt like heaven. Highly recommend!

I posted a review about my facial a few months ago, but my review of their eyebrow threading service is way overdue. Rashmi is the absolute best. I've been seeing her for the last year now, she is SO GOOD at what she does. My eyebrows have never looked better! As a plus, all staff at Pinky's are so friendly, welcoming and accommodating.

I initially went to Pinky for just a lash tint and lift. I am a guy and have a fair complexion and very light lashes and brows, so I wanted a less dramatic and natural effect. Upon review, Pinky recommended I tint and thread my brows as well to match my dark auburn hair and mustache. Normally I am adverse to brow tint because it always feels so dark and unnatural with my lighter complexion. I was happily surprised. Pinky is an artist- she created the perfect color for my lashes and brows to match my naturally darker hair. The result ended up being so natural yet brightened my entire look. The entire process was so comfortable and relaxing. Pinky has a very kind and personable demeanor, and it was nice to discover that what she likes most about her job is that it allows her to make others feel beautiful. With her technical skill, and vision for beauty, I would recommend Pinky to anyone, even men who wish to brighten their look. Thank you Pinky!

She has absolutely changed my eyebrows and Im always getting compliments on how amazing they look! Rashmi has given me waxes, facials, threading, she knows her customers and how to make them happy. An overview of this place is LONNNG overdue. First of all -- I have to admit that I discovered this place through the living legend that is Paloma Elsesser's Instagram. When someone with that phenomenal of brows vets and posts a place you know it's gonna be good. Anyways the TL;DR is that I went to this place and I've never been anywhere else since. Pinky is mad welcoming and never misses. There have also been times when I've come close to closing and she still let me slide (because how desperately I needed a tint and thread). Rashmi is a master of my brows and also so so good at head massage. DO IT FOR ME BECAUSE I NEVER HAVE TIME!!! I would also like to shout out the moment Pinky let me bring my Citibike INTO the store because there were no docks and I was already late to an appointment. LIKE????!!!! SO NICE. I can't even imagine asking that at another spot. This is home and customer service is great. And I'm on my way to get my brows done RIGHT NOW. See you soooooon! And YES I will get a scalp massage ‍

Good brows but painful threading and too expensive. Somehow ended up paying $38 for just brows. Also basically locked me in until I had shown confirmation that I venmoed.

Pinky's is the best. I had eyebrow microblading done by Pinky and my students said, without prompting, that I look much younger. I also come to have my lashes tinted and lifted. Pinky does a perfect job and it makes me feel great. Definitely worth it!

I can not rave enough about how incredible the people here are. They always go above & beyond for their clients, including me. I've been getting my eyebrows threaded from them for about two months now and they've never looked better. This is the best shaping I've ever had & my eyebrows finally look even. Now tonight I got a REALLY special treat. They just started this new express facial that is an UNBELIEVABLE deal for a very high-end product. The results have blown me away, as my face is glowing, so soft & everything feels tightened. My mom has been in pharmaceutical sales my whole life so I'm extra critical & picky when it comes to skin care & this facial completely surprised me. Reccomens this place to anyone & everyone. Their customer service & talis top notch I came again and got the same chocolate facial and it is oh so delicious (especially for this fall weather). The women here are so nice and take such incredible care of their customers. Today I had simi who also shaped my eyebrows for me and they look fabulous. Simi is such a kind soul and so great at what she does. My fav little spot in east village

I've been getting my eyebrows threaded here for many years-Pinky and Rashmi essentially saved my eyebrows from a previous threader who cut me and gave me a bald spot. I still see Rashmi for eyebrow threading and have recently been doing eyebrow tinting with her and couldn't be happier! Very safe, temperature checks, masks and gloves are worn by them as well

I have been going to Pinky for three years now. When I look at photos before I started going, my eyebrows looked so busted and crooked. I am very fair skinned and my eyebrows have almost no pigment, so I used to draw them (and very unevenly in hindsight). Anyhow, Pinky has made my eyebrows, and consequently, my face, look natural yet groomed. I recently got mink lashes and they were so gorgeous with the eyebrows I didn't have to put on any makeup! She knows everyone and deeply cares about each client. It is a little pricey, but she does an uncomparable job and they always give you a massage.

Found this gem near where I'm staying in the city and called for an appointment for eye lash's extension (cuz I'm so lazy). When the went in, all the staffs greetings me and they are very knowledgeable about the service and the different type of eye lashes. The nicest lady Janna did my lashes and the whole process took around 2 hours. It comes out very natural and I love it! She even gave mini neck massage at the very end. This place is pretty busy with a lot of return customer for eyebrow trimming as well so I did recommend trying that out as well!

TLDR: personalized service; friendly staff; on the pricier side, but worth it I've been to Pinky's twice now, both times for eyebrow threading and tinting. After moving from Hell's Kitchen to the LES, I was looking for a salon a bit closer and chose Pinky's based on the positive Yelp reviews. Unlike some other places I've been to, the staff at Pinky's really take their time to ensure your eyebrows are cleaned up and shaped to your liking. I have pretty sparse eyebrows that I've messed up a bit from over-plucking, and both Simi and Rashmi (both very sweet and professional) made sure to not over-thread to allow them to fill back in over time. During my first visit, Simi also recommended eyebrow tinting, which I've never done before, but decided to try out. She told me that it'd make my eyebrows appear fuller and help them grow out in sparse areas, and I was very happy with the result. A month later, Rashmi also did a very nice job shaping and tinting my eyebrows. While on the pricier side ($15 for eyebrow threading and $20 for eyebrow tinting), the staff make you feel like a regular even on your first visit and do a good job of creating repeat customers. A loyalty card is given to customers so that you can keep track of your last appointment and which staff members you've worked with (with free eyebrow threading on the 10th visit). Definitely consider this place to be my new go-to!

Pinky's is the best spot in NYC! I got my eyebrows threaded and tinted by Pinky herself. Loved the results - kept my natural brow look but cleaned everything up and gave great arches. Pinky also went above and beyond to help me dress for a traditional Indian wedding after one day of knowing her. She gave me her saree, skirt, blouse, henna tattoos, and bindis. She also taught me how to wrap a saree the right way. All I can say is that she is an absolute gem of a human and I can't wait to come back. Everyone must go to Pinky's!

And I stuck with her as she opened her own business at Pinky's Village Spa because her knowledge and gentle touch were noticeably above all other waxing experiences I had had before. She also has an incredible memory and remembers to ask me the specifics about my family, life, and work. In that time, she has done a remarkable job expanding her business to include a number of staff that she painstakingly trains and who are all really lovely, as well. She has always done whatever she can to accommodate my schedule, my last minute attempts to squeeze in a visit on short notice, and even my occasional request for waxing services when I'm in a hurry. Over time, I've come to appreciate a variety of services she offers including eyebrow and facial waxing, full leg and underarm waxing as well as eyebrow tint and facial massage with vitamin E oil. Pinky's Village Spa is exactly the kind of business that I believe helps make New York special, that I want to continue to see thrive into the next decade, and that I am happy to help support.
