My partner and I had lunch here at the end of September and it was the nicest meal we had on the island. I’ve never had fried calamari quite like it - so crispy and light, not oily in the slightest which I’ve experienced too many times before - and the lime aioli was the perfect accompaniment to the huge portion! The shrimp croquettes were amazing, as was the octopus tortilla and shrimp patatas bravas. The staff were very friendly and attentive. In hindsight, I wish we had stayed for another glass of wine to enjoy the beautiful setting for longer. We’ll definitely be returning to Pintarroja the next time we visit Menorca. Thank you!

Pintarroja has nice concept and good food, but the service felt slow and inattentive. If you sit near the kitchen, the strong smell of fried food can be overwhelming and nauseating. The prawn croquette was delicious, and the scallops were tasty though disappointingly small for the portion size. The tuna tartare was average, and we even had to send it back after finding a piece of plastic inside. Ah, they didn’t have orange juice to make sangria so they had to make it without. The restaurant is well located, facing the sea, and overall it’s worth trying once. However, it lacked that memorable bite that makes you want to return.

The only photo I have is this, was too busy enjoying everything else. Easily one of our best meals in Menorca. Service was excellent, waiters were so kind and helpful. Beautiful location overlooking the sea, inexpensive and not pretentious. 10/10 experience :)

Food is quite good but not big quantities. The menu is not big and I think they missed more variety. What we ate was OK, place is fantastic with the views, service is also OK. Price about 40 euros pp

Set in the most beautiful bay overlooking the water. All dishes we tried were plate licking good. Highly recommend this place . run don’t walk.

SUMMER IN A BITE 🌊 📍Menorca, Spain ⭐️ 4/5 💸 ££ 🍴We discovered this cute restaurant coming back from a day in the sea. Situated at Es Castell port, @pintarrojamenorca is an intermittent restaurant concept inspired by the summers on the island of Menorca. All the menu is based on Km0 fresh products from the sea. Grilled cooking, without frills, gives value to the products of the island 🐟 The place was also gorgeous, really aligned with the style and philosophy of the island in a relaxed atmosphere 🏝️ We went for their amazing tomato salad (my favourite dish!), their original tuna tartar, the yummy cuttlefish, and finally the mussels with sobrassada🤤
